Numbers 8

1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.

௧யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி:

2 Speak to Aaron and you will say to him when lifting up you the lamps to [the] front of [the] face of the lampstand they will give light [the] seven the lamps.

௨“நீ ஆரோனோடு சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நீ விளக்குகளை ஏற்றும்போது ஏழு விளக்குகளும் விளக்குத்தண்டிற்கு நேரே எரியவேண்டும் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

3 And he did so Aaron to [the] front of [the] face of the lampstand he lifted up lamps its just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.

௩யெகோவா மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்ட பிரகாரம் ஆரோன் செய்து, விளக்குத்தண்டிற்கு நேரே ஒழுங்காக அதின் விளக்குகளை ஏற்றினான்.

4 And this [was] [the] work of the lampstand hammered work gold to base its to blossom its [was] hammered work it like the appearance which he had shown Yahweh Moses so he made the lampstand.

௪இந்தக் குத்துவிளக்கு, அதின் பாதமுதல் பூக்கள்வரைக்கும் தங்கத்தால் அடிப்பு வேலையாகச் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது; மோசேக்குக் காண்பித்த மாதிரியின்படியே அவன் குத்துவிளக்கை உண்டாக்கினான்.

5 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.

௫பின்னும் யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி:

6 Take the Levites from among [the] people of Israel and you will purify them.

௬“நீ இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களிலிருந்து லேவியர்களைப் பிரித்தெடுத்து, அவர்களைச் சுத்திகரிக்கவேண்டும்.

7 And thus you will do to them to purify them spatter on them water of sin offering and they will cause to pass a razor over all body their and they will wash clothes their and they will purify themselves.

௭அவர்களைச் சுத்திகரிக்கும்படி அவர்களுக்குச் செய்யவேண்டியதாவது: அவர்கள்மேல் சுத்திகரிக்கும் தண்ணீரைத் தெளிக்கவேண்டும்; பின்பு அவர்கள் உடல் முழவதும் சவரம்செய்து, தங்களுடைய ஆடைகளைத் துவைத்து, தங்களைச் சுத்திகரிக்கவேண்டும்.

8 And they will take a young bull a young one of cattle and grain offering its fine flour mixed with oil and a young bull second a young one of cattle you will take to a sin offering.

௮அப்பொழுது ஒரு காளையையும், அதற்கேற்ற எண்ணெயிலே பிசைந்த மெல்லியமாவாகிய போஜனபலியையும் கொண்டுவரவேண்டும்; பாவநிவாரணபலியாக வேறொரு காளையையும் நீ வாங்கி.

9 And you will bring near the Levites before [the] tent of meeting and you will assemble all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel.

௯லேவியர்களை ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்திற்கு முன்பு வரச்செய்து, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் சபையார் எல்லோரையும் கூடிவரச்செய்.

10 And you will bring near the Levites before Yahweh and they will lay [the] people of Israel hands their on the Levites.

௧0நீ லேவியர்களைக் யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் வரச்செய்தபோது, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் தங்களுடைய கைகளை லேவியர்கள்மேல் வைக்கவேண்டும்.

11 And he will wave Aaron the Levites a wave-offering before Yahweh from with [the] people of Israel and they will be to serve [the] service of Yahweh.

௧௧லேவியர்கள் யெகோவாவுக்குரிய பணிவிடை செய்யும்பொருட்டு, ஆரோன் அவர்களை இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் காணிக்கையாகக் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக அசைவாட்டப்படும் காணிக்கையாக நிறுத்தவேண்டும்.

12 And the Levites they will lay hands their on [the] head of the young bulls and offer the one a sin offering and the one a burnt offering to Yahweh to make atonement on the Levites.

௧௨அதன்பின்பு லேவியர்கள் தங்களுடைய கைகளைக் காளைகளுடைய தலையின்மேல் வைக்கவேண்டும்; பின்பு நீ லேவியர்களுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்வதற்காக, யெகோவாவுக்கு அவைகளில் ஒன்றைப் பாவநிவாரணபலியாகவும், மற்றொன்றைச் சர்வாங்கதகனபலியாகவும் செலுத்தி,

13 And you will make stand the Levites before Aaron and before sons his and you will wave them a wave-offering to Yahweh.

௧௩லேவியர்களை ஆரோனுக்கும் அவனுடைய மகனுக்கும் முன்பாக நிறுத்தி, அவர்களைக் யெகோவாவுக்கு அசைவாட்டப்படும் காணிக்கையாக்கி,

14 And you will separate the Levites from among [the] people of Israel and they will belong to me the Levites.

௧௪“இப்படி நீ லேவியர்களை இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களிலிருந்து பிரித்தெடுக்கவேண்டும்; லேவியர்கள் என்னுடையவர்களாக இருப்பார்கள்.

15 And after thus they will go the Levites to serve [the] tent of meeting and you will purify them and you will wave them a wave-offering.

௧௫இப்படி அவர்களைச் சுத்திகரித்து, அவர்களை அசைவாட்டும் காணிக்கையாக்கவேண்டும்; அதன்பின்பு லேவியர்கள் ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தில் பணிவிடை செய்ய நுழையவேண்டும்.

16 For [are] assigned assigned they to me from among [the] people of Israel in place of [the] firstborn of every womb [the] firstborn of all from [the] people of Israel I have taken them for myself.

௧௬இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களிலிருந்து அவர்கள் எனக்கு முற்றிலும் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்; இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் எல்லாரிலும் கர்ப்பம்திறந்து பிறக்கிற எல்லா முதற்பேறுக்கும் பதிலாக அவர்களை எனக்கு எடுத்துக்கொண்டேன்.

17 For [belongs] to me every firstborn among [the] people of Israel among humankind and among the livestock on [the] day struck I every firstborn in [the] land of Egypt I set apart them for myself.

௧௭இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களில் மனிதர்களிலும் மிருகஜீவன்களிலும் முதற்பேறானதெல்லாம் என்னுடையது; நான் எகிப்துதேசத்திலே முதற்பேறான யாவையும் கொன்ற நாளிலே அவைகளை எனக்கென்று பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தி,

18 And I have taken the Levites in place of every firstborn among [the] people of Israel.

௧௮பின்பு லேவியர்களை இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களிலுள்ள முதற்பேறு சகலத்திற்கும் பதிலாக எடுத்துக்கொண்டு,

19 And I have given! the Levites given [things] - to Aaron and to sons his from among [the] people of Israel to serve [the] service of [the] people of Israel in [the] tent of meeting and to make atonement on [the] people of Israel and not it will be among [the] people of Israel a plague when draw near [the] people of Israel to the holy place.

௧௯லேவியர்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுடைய பணிவிடையை ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தில் செய்யும்படியும், இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யும்படியும், இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் தாங்களே பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தில் சேருகிறதினால் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களில் வாதை உண்டாகாதபடியும், லேவியர்களை அவர்களிலிருந்து எடுத்து, ஆரோனுக்கும் அவனுடைய மகன்களுக்கும் பரிசாகக் கொடுத்தேன்” என்றார்.

20 And he did Moses and Aaron and all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel to the Levites according to all that he had commanded Yahweh Moses of the Levites so they did to them [the] people of Israel.

௨0அப்பொழுது மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் சபையார் யாவரும் யெகோவா லேவியர்களைக்குறித்து மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியெல்லாம் லேவியர்களுக்குச் செய்தார்கள்.

21 And they purified themselves the Levites and they washed clothes their and he waved Aaron them a wave-offering before Yahweh and he made atonement on them Aaron to purify them.

௨௧லேவியர்கள் சுத்திகரிக்கப்பட்டு, தங்களுடைய ஆடைகளைத் துவைத்தார்கள்; பின்பு ஆரோன் அவர்களைக் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக அசைவாட்டும் காணிக்கையாக நிறுத்தி, அவர்களைச் சுத்திகரிக்க அவர்களுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்தான்.

22 And after thus they went the Levites to serve service their in [the] tent of meeting before Aaron and before sons his just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses on the Levites so they did to them.

௨௨அதற்குப்பின்பு லேவியர்கள் ஆரோனுக்கும் அவனுடைய மகன்களுக்கும் முன்பாக ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தில் தங்களுடைய பணிவிடையைச் செய்யும்படி நுழைந்தார்கள்; யெகோவா லேவியர்களைக்குறித்து மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே அவர்களுக்குச் செய்தார்கள்.

23 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.

௨௩பின்னும் யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி:

24 This [is that] which [is] to the Levites from a son of five and twenty year[s] and up-wards he will go to serve service in [the] service of [the] tent of meeting.

௨௪லேவியர்களுக்குரிய கட்டளை என்னவென்றால்: “இருபத்தைந்து வயதுமுதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள யாவரும் ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தின் பணிவிடையைச் செய்யும் கூட்டத்திற்கு சேவிக்க வரவேண்டும்.

25 And from a son of fifty year[s] he will turn back from [the] service of the service and not he will serve again.

௨௫ஐம்பது வயதிற்கு மேற்பட்டவர்கள் வேலைசெய்யாமல் ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தின் பணிவிடை செய்யும் கூட்டத்தைவிட்டு,

26 And he will serve brothers his in [the] tent of meeting by keeping a duty and service not he will serve thus you will do to the Levites in duties their.

௨௬ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தின் காவலைக்காக்கிறதற்குத் தங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களோடு ஊழியம் செய்வதைத் தவிர, வேறொரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டியதில்லை; இப்படி லேவியர்கள் செய்யவேண்டிய வேலைகளைக்குறித்துத் திட்டமிடவேண்டும்” என்றார்.
