Numbers 4
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron saying.
BOEIPA loh Moses neh Aaron te a voek tih,
2 Lift up [the] head of [the] descendants of Kohath from among [the] descendants of Levi to clans their to [the] house of ancestors their.
“Levi koca khui lamloh Kohath ca rhoek kah a lu te a napa rhoek imkhui neh a cako ah tae pah.
3 From a son of thirty year[s] and up-wards and to a son of fifty year[s] every [one who] comes for the service to do work in [the] tent of meeting.
Kum sawmthum ca lamloh a so hang neh kum sawmnga ca hil tah tingtunnah dap ah bitat saii ham caempuei la boeih kun saeh.
4 This [is] [the] service of [the] descendants of Kohath in [the] tent of meeting [the] holy thing of the holy things.
Tingtunnah dap khuiah hmuencim kah hmuencim koek ah Kohath koca kah thothuengnah tah he coeng ni.
5 And he will go Aaron and sons his when sets out the camp and they will take down [the] curtain of the screen and they will cover with it [the] ark of the testimony.
Lambong a thoeih vaengah Aaron neh anih koca rhoek te kun uh saeh. Te vaengah himbaiyan dongkah hniyan te dul uh saeh lamtah laipainah thingkawng te khuk thil saeh.
6 And they will put over it a covering of skin of dolphin and they will spread out a covering of an entirety of violet stuff from to above and they will put in poles its.
Te phoeiah a soah a sing la saham pho neh dah saeh. A so khit ah himbai a thim duk a phaih phoeiah a cung rholh uh saeh.
7 And over - [the] table of the presence they will spread out a covering of violet stuff and they will put on it the dishes and the pans and the bowls and [the] jugs of the drink offering and [the] bread of continuity on it it will be.
A hmai caboei soah himbai thim a phaih tih a soah bael neh yakbu, tuisi-am neh tuisi tui-um tawn uh saeh. Buh khaw a soah phat om saeh.
8 And they will spread out over them a covering of scarlet stuff of scarlet and they will cover it with a covering of skin of dolphin and they will put in poles its.
Te rhoek soah himbai hlarhui a lingdik phaih saeh lamtah saham pho imphu neh te te khuk uh saeh. Te phoeiah a cung te rholh uh saeh.
9 And they will take - a covering of violet stuff and they will cover [the] lampstand of the light and lamps its and tongs its and fire-pans its and all [the] vessels of oil its which they will serve it by them.
Te vaengah himbai thim lo uh saeh lamtah vangnah hmaitung neh a hmaithoi khaw, a paitaeh neh a baelphaih, a situi am boeih khaw khuk uh saeh. Te rhoek nen te a taengah thotat uh saeh.
10 And they will put it and all articles its into a covering of skin of dolphin and they will put [it] on the carrying frame.
Amah te neh a hnopai boeih te saham pho imphu neh cun uh saeh lamtah cunghloeng dongah buen uh saeh.
11 And over - [the] altar of gold they will spread out a covering of violet stuff and they will cover it with a covering of skin of dolphin and they will put in poles its.
Sui hmueihtuk soah khaw himbai thim neh khuk saeh. Te phoeiah te te saham pho imphu neh khuk uh saeh lamtah a cung rholh uh saeh.
12 And they will take all [the] articles of service which they will serve by them in the holy place and they will put [them] into a covering of violet stuff and they will cover them with a covering of skin of dolphin and they will put [them] on the carrying frame.
Thohtatnah hnopai cungkuem te khuen uh saeh lamtah hmuencim ah te nen te thotat uh saeh. Himbai thim khuila a sang tih saham pho imphu neh a khuk phoeiah cunghloeng dongah buen uh saeh.
13 And they will take away [the] ashes from the altar and they will spread out over it a covering of purple cloth.
Te phoeiah hmueihtuk te kol uh saeh lamtah a soah himbai thim phaih uh saeh.
14 And they will put on it all articles its which they will serve at it by them the fire-pans the forks and the shovels and the bowls all [the] articles of the altar and they will spread out over it a covering of skin of dolphin and they will put in poles its.
Te phoeiah a thohtat vaengkah a hnopai cungkuem te, a taengkah baelphaih ciksum neh hmaisoh khaw, baelcak neh hmueihtuk kah hnopai cungkuem te a soah tloeng uh saeh. Te soah saham pho a sing dah uh saeh lamtah a cung te rholh uh saeh.
15 And he will finish Aaron and sons his to cover the holy place and all [the] articles of the holy place when sets out the camp and after thus they will come [the] descendants of Kohath to carry [them] and not they will touch the holy thing and they will die these [things] [are] [the] burden of [the] descendants of Kohath in [the] tent of meeting.
Aaron neh anih koca rhoek loh hmuencim neh hmuencim kah hnopai cungkuem a khuk te a coeng tih rhaehhmuen puen ham vaengah a hnuk ah koh pah ham Kohath koca rhoek kun uh saeh. Tedae hnocim te ben uh boel saeh duek uh ve. He rhoek he tingtunnah dap khuiah Kohath koca rhoek kah hnophueih la om saeh.
16 And [the] oversight of Eleazar - [the] son of Aaron the priest [is] [the] oil of the light and [the] incense of the perfume and [the] grain offering of continuity and [the] oil of anointing [the] oversight of all the tabernacle and all that [is] in it with [the] holy place and with equipment its.
Khosoih Aaron capa Eleazar loh hmaivang situi neh bo-ul botui khaw, hnin takuem kah khocang neh koelhnah situi aka cawhkung, dungtlungim pum neh a khuikah boeih, hmuencim neh a hnopai aka cawhkung la om saeh,” a ti nah.
17 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron saying.
BOEIPA loh Moses neh Aaron te a voek tih,
18 May not you cut off [the] tribe of [the] clans of the Kohathite[s] from among the Levites.
“Kohathi cako koca te Levi khui lamloh hnawt boeh.
19 And this - do for them and they will live and not they will die when draw near they [the] holy thing of the holy things Aaron and sons his they will go and they will appoint them a man a man on service his and to burden his.
Tedae he he amih ham na saii daengah ni hmuencim kah hmuencim taengla a mop uh vaengah hing uh vetih a duek uh pawt eh. Aaron neh anih koca rhoek a kun vaengah amih te hlang khat rhip kah a thothuengnah ham neh a hnophueih ham khueh uh saeh.
20 And not they will go to see as a swallowing the holy thing and they will die.
Tedae hmuencim te hmuh ham yap kun uh boel saeh, tarha duek uh ve,” a ti nah.
21 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh Moses te a voek tih,
22 Lift up [the] head of [the] descendants of Gershon also they to [the] house of ancestors their to clans their.
Gershon koca kah a lu te khaw a napa rhoek imkhui lamloh a cako ah tae pah.
23 From a son of thirty year[s] and up-wards to a son of fifty year[s] you will enroll them every [one who] goes to serve service to serve service in [the] tent of meeting.
Capa kum sawmthum lamloh a so hang loh kum sawmnga ca hil soep pah. Amih te tingtunnah dap ah caempuei la thohtat ham neh thothuengnah dongah thothueng ham boeih ha pawk uh saeh.
24 This [is] [the] service of [the] clans of the Gershonite[s] to serve and for carrying.
He thothuengnah he Gershon cako kah a thothueng neh a hnophueih la om saeh.
25 And they will carry [the] curtains of the tabernacle and [the] tent of meeting covering its and [the] covering of the dolphin which [is] over it from to above and [the] screen of [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting.
Te dongah dungtlungim kah himbaiyan neh tingtunnah dap kah a imphu khaw, a so lamkah saham imphu neh tingtunnah dap thohka kah himbaiyan khaw,
26 And [the] curtains of the courtyard and [the] screen of - [the] entrance of - [the] gate of the courtyard which [is] at the tabernacle and at the altar all around and ropes their and all [the] articles of service their and all that it will be done for them and they will serve.
vongup kah imbang neh dungtlungim dongkah vongtung vongka thohka kah himbaiyan neh hmueihtuk kaepvai kah a rhuimal khaw, a thothuengnah hnopai cungkuem khaw phuei uh saeh. Te boeih te amih ham khueh pah lamtah thothueng uh saeh.
27 On [the] mouth of Aaron and sons his it will be all [the] service of [the] descendants of the Gershonite[s] for all carrying their and for all service their and you will assign to them a duty all carrying their.
Aaron neh a capa kah ol bangla Gershon koca rhoek kah thothuengnah cungkuem dongah a hnophueih boeih neh a thothuengnah boeih te om pah saeh. Te phoeiah amih te a hutnah bangla a hnophueih boeih te soep pah.
28 This [is] [the] service of [the] clans of [the] descendants of the Gershonite[s] in [the] tent of meeting and duty their [is] in [the] hand of Ithamar [the] son of Aaron the priest.

29 [the] descendants of Merari to clans their to [the] house of ancestors their you will enroll them.

30 From a son of thirty year[s] and up-wards and to a son of fifty year[s] you will enroll them every [one who] comes for the service to serve [the] service of [the] tent of meeting.
Amih te kum sawmthum ca lamloh a so hang neh kum sawmnga ca hil soep pah. Amih te tingtunnah dap ah thothuengnah neh thothueng ham caempuei la boeih kun saeh.
31 And this [is] [the] duty of carrying their for all service their in [the] tent of meeting [the] frames of the tabernacle and bars its and pillars its and bases its.
Tingtunnah dap ah amih kah thothuengnah boeih la he he a hnophueih neh a hutnah la om saeh. Dungtlungim kah a longlaeng neh a thohkalh khaw, a tung neh a buenhol khaw,
32 And [the] pillars of the courtyard all around and bases their and tent pegs their and ropes their to all articles their and to all service their and by names you will assign [the] equipment of [the] duty of carrying their.
vongtung kaepvai kah tung neh a buenhol khaw, a hlingcong neh a rhuimal khaw, a hnopai boeih neh a thothuengnah boeih khaw, amih kah hnophueih neh a hutnah hnopai te a ming neh soep pah.
33 This [is] [the] service of [the] clans of [the] descendants of Merari to all service their in [the] tent of meeting in [the] hand of Ithamar [the] son of Aaron the priest.
Tingtunnah dap kah a thothuengnah boeih dongah Merari koca cako thothuengnah he khosoih Aaron capa Ithamar kut hmuiah om saeh,” a ti nah.
34 And he enrolled Moses and Aaron and [the] leaders of the congregation [the] descendants of the Kohathite[s] to clans their and to [the] house of ancestors their.
Te dongah Moses, Aaron neh rhaengpuei kah khoboei rhoek loh Kohathi koca kah a cako rhoek neh a napa rhoek imkhui khaw,
35 From a son of thirty year[s] and up-wards and to a son of fifty year[s] every [one who] comes for the service for service in [the] tent of meeting.
Kum sawmthum ca lamloh a so hang neh kum sawmnga ca hil, tingtunnah dap kah thothuengnah dongah caempuei la aka pawk boeih te a soep.
36 And they were enrolled [men] their to clans their two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
Amih te a cako la a soep vaengah thawng hnih ya rhih neh sawmnga lo uh.
37 These [were] [the] enrolled [men] of [the] clans of the Kohathite[s] every [one who] serves in [the] tent of meeting whom he enrolled Moses and Aaron on [the] mouth of Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses.

38 And [the] enrolled [men] of [the] descendants of Gershon to clans their and to [the] house of ancestors their.

39 From a son of thirty year[s] and up-wards and to a son of fifty year[s] every [one who] comes for the service for service in [the] tent of meeting.
kum sawmthum ca lamloh a so hang neh kum sawmnga ca hil tingtunnah dap kah thothuengnah dongah caempuei la aka kun boeih te a soep.
40 And they were enrolled [men] their to clans their to [the] house of ancestors their two thousand and six hundred and thirty.
Anmih te a cako la a napa imkhui neh a soep vaengah thawng hnih ya rhuk sawmthum lo uh.
41 These [were] [the] enrolled [men] of [the] clans of [the] descendants of Gershon every [one who] serves in [the] tent of meeting whom he enrolled Moses and Aaron on [the] mouth of Yahweh.

42 And [the] enrolled [men] of [the] clans of [the] descendants of Merari to clans their to [the] house of ancestors their.

43 From a son of thirty year[s] and up-wards and to a son of fifty year[s] every [one who] comes for the service for service in [the] tent of meeting.

44 And they were enrolled [men] their to clans their three thousand and two hundred.

45 These [were] [the] enrolled [men] of [the] clans of [the] descendants of Merari whom he enrolled Moses and Aaron on [the] mouth of Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses.

46 All those enrolled whom he enrolled Moses and Aaron and [the] leaders of Israel the Levites to clans their and to [the] house of ancestors their.
Moses, Aaron neh Israel khoboei rhoek loh a soep Levi te a cako neh a napa rhoek imkhui khaw boeih a soep uh.
47 From a son of thirty year[s] and up-wards and to a son of fifty year[s] every [one who] comes to serve a service of a service and a service of carrying in [the] tent of meeting.
tongpaca kum sawmthum neh a so hang kum sawmnga ca hil, thothuengnah dongkah thohtatnah neh tingtunnah dap ah hnophueih dongkah thohtatnah dongah thohtat ham aka pawk boeih khaw,
48 And they were enrolled [men] their eight thousand and five hundred and eighty.
a soep vaengah amih te thawng rhet ya nga sawmrhet lo.
49 On [the] mouth of Yahweh someone enrolled them by [the] hand of Moses a man a man on service his and on burden his and enrolled [men] his whom he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
