Numbers 36
1 And they drew near [the] leaders of the fathers of [the] clan of [the] descendants of Gilead [the] son of Makir [the] son of Manasseh from [the] clans of [the] descendants of Joseph and they spoke before Moses and before the leaders heads of fathers of [the] people of Israel.
Mendekatlah kepala-kepala puak dari kaum bani Gilead bin Makhir bin Manasye, salah satu dari kaum-kaum keturunan Yusuf, dan berbicara di depan Musa dan pemimpin-pemimpin, kepala-kepala suku orang Israel,
2 And they said lord my he commanded Yahweh to give the land an inheritance by lot to [the] people of Israel and lord my he was commanded by Yahweh to give [the] inheritance of Zelophehad brother our to daughters his.
kata mereka: "TUHAN telah memerintahkan tuanku untuk memberikan tanah itu kepada orang Israel sebagai milik pusaka dengan membuang undi, dan oleh TUHAN telah diperintahkan kepada tuanku untuk memberikan milik pusaka Zelafehad, saudara kami, kepada anak-anaknya yang perempuan.
3 And they will belong to one of [the] sons of [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel to wives and it will be withdrawn inheritance their from [the] inheritance of ancestors our and it will be added to [the] inheritance of the tribe which they will belong to them and from [the] lot of inheritance our it will be withdrawn.
Tetapi seandainya mereka kawin dengan salah seorang anak laki-laki dari suku lain di antara orang Israel, maka milik pusaka perempuan itu akan dikurangkan dari milik pusaka bapa-bapa kami dan akan ditambahkan kepada milik pusaka suku yang akan dimasukinya, jadi akan dikurangkan dari milik pusaka yang diundikan kepada kami.
4 And if it will come the jubilee of [the] people of Israel and it will be added inheritance their to [the] inheritance of the tribe which they will belong to them and from [the] inheritance of [the] tribe of ancestors our it will be withdrawn inheritance their.
Maka apabila tiba tahun Yobel bagi orang Israel, milik pusaka perempuan itu akan ditambahkan kepada milik pusaka suku yang akan dimasukinya dan akan dikurangkan dari milik pusaka suku nenek moyang kami."
5 And he commanded Moses [the] people of Israel on [the] mouth of Yahweh saying right [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Joseph [is] speaking.
Lalu Musa memerintahkan kepada orang Israel sesuai dengan titah TUHAN: "Perkataan suku keturunan Yusuf itu benar.
6 This [is] the word which he has commanded Yahweh of [the] daughters of Zelophehad saying to the good in view their they will belong to wives only to [the] clan of [the] tribe of ancestor their they will belong to wives.
Inilah firman yang diperintahkan TUHAN mengenai anak-anak perempuan Zelafehad, bunyinya: Mereka boleh kawin dengan siapa saja yang suka kepada mereka, asal mereka kawin di lingkungan salah satu kaum dari suku ayah mereka.
7 And not it will go about an inheritance of [the] people of Israel from tribe to tribe for everyone on [the] inheritance of [the] tribe of ancestors his they will hold [the] people of Israel.
Sebab milik pusaka orang Israel tidak boleh beralih dari suku ke suku, tetapi orang Israel haruslah masing-masing memegang milik pusaka suku nenek moyangnya.
8 And every daughter [who] possesses an inheritance from [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel to one of [the] clan of [the] tribe of father her she will belong to a wife so that they may possess [the] people of Israel everyone [the] inheritance of ancestors his.
Jadi setiap anak perempuan di antara suku-suku orang Israel yang telah mewarisi milik pusaka, haruslah kawin dengan seorang dari salah satu kaum yang termasuk suku ayahnya, supaya setiap orang Israel mewarisi milik pusaka nenek moyangnya.
9 And not it will go about an inheritance from tribe to tribe another for everyone on own inheritance its they will hold [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel.
Sebab milik pusaka itu tidak boleh beralih dari suku ke suku, tetapi suku-suku orang Israel haruslah masing-masing memegang milik pusakanya sendiri."
10 Just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses so they did [the] daughters of Zelophehad.
Seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa, demikianlah diperbuat anak-anak perempuan Zelafehad.
11 And they belonged Mahlah Tirzah and Hoglah and Milcah and Noah [the] daughters of Zelophehad to [the] sons of uncles their to wives.
Maka Mahla, Tirza, Hogla, Milka dan Noa, anak-anak perempuan Zelafehad, kawin dengan anak-anak lelaki dari pihak saudara-saudara ayah mereka;
12 From [the] clans of [the] descendants of Manasseh [the] son of Joseph they became wives and it was inheritance their with [the] tribe of [the] clan of father their.
mereka kawin dengan laki-laki dari kaum-kaum bani Manasye bin Yusuf, sehingga milik pusaka mereka tetap tinggal pada suku kaum ayahnya.
13 These [are] the commandments and the judgments which he commanded Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses to [the] people of Israel in [the] plains of Moab at [the] Jordan of Jericho.
Itulah perintah dan peraturan yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada orang Israel dengan perantaraan Musa di dataran Moab di tepi sungai Yordan dekat Yerikho.
