Numbers 36

1 And they drew near [the] leaders of the fathers of [the] clan of [the] descendants of Gilead [the] son of Makir [the] son of Manasseh from [the] clans of [the] descendants of Joseph and they spoke before Moses and before the leaders heads of fathers of [the] people of Israel.

Nʼoge ahụ, ndịisi ezi agbụrụ Gilead, nwa Makia, nwa Manase, otu nʼime ụmụ Josef, bịakwutere Mosis na ndị ndu, na ndịisi ezi ụmụ Izrel sị ha:

2 And they said lord my he commanded Yahweh to give the land an inheritance by lot to [the] people of Israel and lord my he was commanded by Yahweh to give [the] inheritance of Zelophehad brother our to daughters his.

“Mgbe Onyenwe anyị nyere unu onyenwe m iwu inye ụmụ Izrel ala ahụ nʼihe nketa site nʼife nza, onye nyekwara gị iwu iwere ihe nketa nwanne anyị nwoke Zelofehad nyefee nʼaka ụmụ ya ndị inyom.

3 And they will belong to one of [the] sons of [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel to wives and it will be withdrawn inheritance their from [the] inheritance of ancestors our and it will be added to [the] inheritance of the tribe which they will belong to them and from [the] lot of inheritance our it will be withdrawn.

Ugbu a, ọ bụrụ na ha alụọ ndị ikom Izrel si nʼebo ọzọ, mgbe ahụ, ihe nketa ha ga-abụ nke anapụrụ anyị, tụkwasị nʼihe nketa nke ebo ebe ha lụrụ di. Nʼụzọ dị otu a, ihe nketa anyị ga-abụ nke e wepụrụ ihe site na ya.

4 And if it will come the jubilee of [the] people of Israel and it will be added inheritance their to [the] inheritance of the tribe which they will belong to them and from [the] inheritance of [the] tribe of ancestors our it will be withdrawn inheritance their.

Mgbe afọ inwere onwe nye Izrel ruru, a ga-agụnye ihe nketa ha nʼebo ebe ha lụrụ dị. A ga-esi otu a wepụ ala ha site nʼihe nketa nke nna nna anyị ha ketara.”

5 And he commanded Moses [the] people of Israel on [the] mouth of Yahweh saying right [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Joseph [is] speaking.

Mgbe ahụ, Mosis nyere ndị Izrel ntụziaka site nʼiwu Onyenwe anyị sị, “Ihe ndị ikom ebo Josef na-ekwu ziri ezi.

6 This [is] the word which he has commanded Yahweh of [the] daughters of Zelophehad saying to the good in view their they will belong to wives only to [the] clan of [the] tribe of ancestor their they will belong to wives.

Ma nke a bụ iwu Onyenwe anyị na-enye maka ụmụ ndị inyom Zelofehad. Ha nwere ike ịlụ onye ọbụla masịrị ha, ma onye ha ga-alụ ga-abụrịrị onye si nʼagbụrụ ebo nna ha.

7 And not it will go about an inheritance of [the] people of Israel from tribe to tribe for everyone on [the] inheritance of [the] tribe of ancestors his they will hold [the] people of Israel.

O nweghị ihe nketa ọbụla nʼIzrel ga-esi nʼaka otu ebo gafee nʼebo ọzọ. Nʼihi na ihe nketa nke ebo ọbụla ga-adịgidere ha dịka otu e siri kee ya nye nna nna ha.

8 And every daughter [who] possesses an inheritance from [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel to one of [the] clan of [the] tribe of father her she will belong to a wife so that they may possess [the] people of Israel everyone [the] inheritance of ancestors his.

Nwa nwanyị Izrel ọbụla ketara ala nʼebo Izrel ọ bụla ga-alụ di site nʼagbụrụ ebo nna ya. Ka ala ha ghara ịgafere ebo ọzọ.

9 And not it will go about an inheritance from tribe to tribe another for everyone on own inheritance its they will hold [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel.

10 Just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses so they did [the] daughters of Zelophehad.

Ya mere, ụmụ ndị inyom Zelofehad mere dịka Onyenwe anyị nyere Mosis nʼiwu.

11 And they belonged Mahlah Tirzah and Hoglah and Milcah and Noah [the] daughters of Zelophehad to [the] sons of uncles their to wives.

Ụmụ Zelofehad ndị a: Mahla, na Tịaza, na Hogla, na Milka, na Noa, lụrụ ndị ikom si nʼebo nna ha.

12 From [the] clans of [the] descendants of Manasseh [the] son of Joseph they became wives and it was inheritance their with [the] tribe of [the] clan of father their.

Ha lụrụ di nʼagbụrụ ụmụ Manase, nwa Josef. Nʼụzọ dị otu a, ihe nketa ha dịgidere nʼebo na agbụrụ nna ha.

13 These [are] the commandments and the judgments which he commanded Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses to [the] people of Israel in [the] plains of Moab at [the] Jordan of Jericho.
