Numbers 32
1 And livestock - much it belonged to [the] descendants of Reuben and to [the] descendants of Gad numerous very and they saw [the] land of Jazer and [the] land of Gilead and there! the place [was] a place of livestock.
Los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad tenían una gran cantidad de ganado. Vieron la tierra de Jazer y la tierra de Galaad. He aquí que el lugar era un sitio para el ganado.
2 And they came [the] descendants of Gad and [the] descendants of Reuben and they said to Moses and to Eleazar the priest and to [the] leaders of the congregation saying.
Entonces los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén vinieron y hablaron a Moisés, al sacerdote Eleazar y a los jefes de la congregación, diciendo:
3 Ataroth and Dibon and Jazer and Nimrah and Heshbon and Elealeh and Sebam and Nebo and Beon.
“Atarot, Dibón, Jazer, Nimra, Hesbón, Eleale, Sebam, Nebo y Beón,
4 The land which he defeated Yahweh before [the] congregation of Israel [is] a land of livestock it and [belongs] to servants your livestock.
la tierra que Yahvé hirió ante la congregación de Israel, es tierra de ganado; y vuestros siervos tienen ganado.”
5 And they said if we have found favor in view your let it be given the land this to servants your to a possession may not you make pass over us the Jordan.
Ellos dijeron: “Si hemos hallado gracia ante tus ojos, que esta tierra sea dada a tus siervos como posesión. No nos hagas pasar el Jordán”.
6 And he said Moses to [the] descendants of Gad and to [the] descendants of Reuben ¿ brothers your will they go to battle and you will you remain? here.
Moisés dijo a los hijos de Gad y a los hijos de Rubén: “¿Van a ir sus hermanos a la guerra mientras ustedes están sentados aquí?
7 And why? (do you discourage! *Q(K)*) [the] heart of [the] people of Israel from passing over into the land which he has given to them Yahweh.
¿Por qué desaniman el corazón de los hijos de Israel para que no vayan a la tierra que el Señor les ha dado?
8 Thus they did fathers your when sent I them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land.
Así lo hicieron sus padres cuando los envié desde Cades Barnea a ver la tierra.
9 And they went up to [the] wadi of Eshcol and they saw the land and they discouraged [the] heart of [the] people of Israel to not to go into the land which he had given to them Yahweh.
Pues cuando subieron al valle de Escol y vieron la tierra, desanimaron el corazón de los hijos de Israel para que no entraran en la tierra que Yahvé les había dado.
10 And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on the day that and he swore an oath saying.
Aquel día ardió la ira de Yahvé, y juró diciendo:
11 If they will see the men who came up from Egypt from a son of twenty year[s] and up-wards the land which I swore to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob for not they have filled after me.
‘Ciertamente ninguno de los hombres que subieron de Egipto, de veinte años en adelante, verá la tierra que juré a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob; porque no me han seguido del todo,
12 Except Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua [the] son of Nun for they have filled after Yahweh.
excepto Caleb hijo de Jefone cenezeo, y Josué hijo de Nun, porque han seguido a Yahvé del todo.’
13 And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on Israel and he made wander them in the wilderness forty year[s] until was finished all the generation which had done the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh.
La ira del Señor se encendió contra Israel, y lo hizo vagar de un lado a otro del desierto durante cuarenta años, hasta que se consumió toda la generación que había hecho el mal a los ojos del Señor.
14 And here! you have risen up in place of fathers your a brood of people sinful to add again to [the] burning of [the] anger of Yahweh against Israel.
“He aquí que ustedes se han levantado en el lugar de sus padres, un aumento de hombres pecadores, para aumentar el furor de Yahvé contra Israel.
15 For you will turn back! from after him and he will repeat again to leave it in the wilderness and you will destroy all the people this.
Porque si os apartáis de él, volverá a dejarlos en el desierto, y destruiréis a todo este pueblo.”
16 And they drew near to him and they said folds of sheep we will build for livestock our here and cities for little one[s] our.
Se acercaron a él y le dijeron: “Construiremos aquí apriscos para nuestros ganados y ciudades para nuestros pequeños;
17 And we we will equip ourselves hurried before [the] people of Israel until that we have brought them to place their and it will remain little one[s] our in [the] cities of fortification because of [the] inhabitants of the land.
pero nosotros mismos estaremos listos armados para ir delante de los hijos de Israel, hasta que los hayamos llevado a su lugar. Nuestros pequeños vivirán en las ciudades fortificadas a causa de los habitantes de la tierra.
18 Not we will return to houses our until have inherited [the] people of Israel everyone inheritance his.
No volveremos a nuestras casas hasta que todos los hijos de Israel hayan recibido su herencia.
19 For not we will inherit with them from [the] other side of the Jordan and beyond for it has come inheritance our to us from [the] other side of the Jordan east-ward.
Porque no heredaremos con ellos al otro lado del Jordán y más allá, porque nuestra herencia nos ha llegado a este lado del Jordán hacia el este.”
20 And he said to them Moses if you will do! the thing this if you will equip yourselves before Yahweh for battle.
Moisés les dijo: “Si hacéis esto, si os armáis para ir delante de Yahvé a la guerra,
21 And he will pass over of you every equipped [man] the Jordan before Yahweh until has dispossessed he enemies his from before him.
y cada uno de vuestros hombres armados pasará el Jordán delante de Yahvé hasta que haya expulsado a sus enemigos de delante de él,
22 And it will be subdued the land before Yahweh and after you will return and you will be free from Yahweh and from Israel and it will belong the land this to you to a possession before Yahweh.
y la tierra esté sometida delante de Yahvé; entonces después volveréis, y estaréis libres de obligaciones para con Yahvé y para con Israel. Entonces esta tierra será tu posesión ante el Señor.
23 And if not you will do! thus there! you have sinned to Yahweh and know sin your that it will find you.
“Pero si no lo haces, he aquí que has pecado contra Yahvé; y ten por seguro que tu pecado te descubrirá.
24 Build for yourselves cities for little one[s] your and folds for sheep your and the [thing which] has gone out from mouth your you will do.
Construye ciudades para tus pequeños, y rediles para tus ovejas; y haz lo que ha salido de tu boca.”
25 And he said [the] descendants of Gad and [the] descendants of Reuben to Moses saying servants your they will do just as lord my [is] commanding.
Los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén hablaron con Moisés y le dijeron: “Tus siervos harán lo que ordena mi señor.
26 Little one[s] our wives our livestock our and all cattle our they will be there in [the] cities of Gilead.
Nuestros pequeños, nuestras mujeres, nuestros rebaños y todo nuestro ganado quedarán allí en las ciudades de Galaad;
27 And servants your they will pass over every equipped [man] of war before Yahweh for battle just as lord my [is] saying.
pero tus siervos pasarán, cada uno de ellos armado para la guerra, delante de Yahvé para combatir, como dice mi señor.”
28 And he commanded of them Moses Eleazar the priest and Joshua [the] son of Nun and [the] leaders of [the] fathers of the tribes of [the] people of Israel.
Entonces Moisés ordenó acerca de ellos al sacerdote Eleazar y a Josué hijo de Nun, y a los jefes de familia de las tribus de los hijos de Israel.
29 And he said Moses to them if they will pass over [the] descendants of Gad and [the] descendants of Reuben - with you the Jordan every equipped [man] for battle before Yahweh and it will be subdued the land before you and you will give to them [the] land of Gilead to a possession.
Moisés les dijo: “Si los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén pasan con vosotros el Jordán, cada uno armado para la batalla delante de Yahvé, y la tierra es sometida delante de vosotros, les daréis la tierra de Galaad en posesión;
30 And if not they will pass over equipped with you and they will have possessions in midst of you in [the] land of Canaan.
pero si no pasan con vosotros armados, tendrán posesión entre vosotros en la tierra de Canaán.”
31 And they answered [the] descendants of Gad and [the] descendants of Reuben saying [that] which he has spoken Yahweh to servants your thus we will do.
Los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén respondieron diciendo: “Como Yahvé ha dicho a tus siervos, así haremos.
32 We we will pass over equipped before Yahweh [the] land of Canaan and [will be] with us [the] possession of inheritance our from [the] other side of the Jordan.
Pasaremos armados delante de Yahvé a la tierra de Canaán, y la posesión de nuestra herencia quedará con nosotros al otro lado del Jordán.”
33 And he gave to them - Moses to [the] descendants of Gad and to [the] descendants of Reuben and to [the] half of - [the] tribe of - Manasseh [the] son of Joseph [the] kingdom of Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] and [the] kingdom of Og [the] king of Bashan the land to cities its with territories [the] cities of the land all around.
Moisés les dio a los hijos de Gad, a los hijos de Rubén y a la media tribu de Manasés hijo de José, el reino de Sehón, rey de los amorreos, y el reino de Og, rey de Basán; la tierra, según sus ciudades y sus límites, las ciudades de los alrededores.
34 And they built [the] descendants of Gad Dibon and Ataroth and Aroer.
Los hijos de Gad edificaron Dibón, Atarot, Aroer,
35 And Atroth Shophan and Jazer and Jogbehah.
Atarot-sofán, Jazer, Jogbehá,
36 And Beth Nimrah and Beth Haran cities of fortification and folds of sheep.
Bet Nimra y Bet Harán: ciudades fortificadas y rediles para las ovejas.
37 And [the] descendants of Reuben they built Heshbon and Elealeh and Kiriathaim.
Los hijos de Rubén edificaron Hesbón, Elealeh, Quiriatáim,
38 And Nebo and Baal Meon changed name and Sibmah and they called by names [the] names of the cities which they had built.
Nebo y Baal Meón (sus nombres fueron cambiados) y Sibma. Dieron otros nombres a las ciudades que construyeron.
39 And they went [the] descendants of Makir [the] son of Manasseh Gilead towards and they captured it and he dispossessed the Amorite[s] who [was] in it.
Los hijos de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, fueron a Galaad, la tomaron y despojaron a los amorreos que estaban en ella.
40 And he gave Moses Gilead to Makir [the] son of Manasseh and he dwelt in it.
Moisés dio Galaad a Maquir hijo de Manasés, y éste vivió en ella.
41 And Jair [the] son of Manasseh he went and he captured villages their and he called them Havvoth Jair.
Jair hijo de Manasés fue y tomó sus aldeas, y las llamó Havvoth Jair.
42 And Nobah he went and he captured Kenath and daughters its and he called it Nobah by own name his.
Noba fue y tomó Kenat y sus aldeas, y la llamó Noba, según su propio nombre.
