Numbers 32
1 And livestock - much it belonged to [the] descendants of Reuben and to [the] descendants of Gad numerous very and they saw [the] land of Jazer and [the] land of Gilead and there! the place [was] a place of livestock.
Die Kinder Ruben aber und die Kinder Gad hatten sehr viel Vieh und sahen das Land Jaeser und das Land Gilead, und siehe, es war ein geeignetes Land für ihr Vieh.
2 And they came [the] descendants of Gad and [the] descendants of Reuben and they said to Moses and to Eleazar the priest and to [the] leaders of the congregation saying.
Da kamen die Kinder Gad und die Kinder Ruben und redeten mit Mose und Eleasar, dem Priester, und mit den Hauptleuten der Gemeinde und sprachen:
3 Ataroth and Dibon and Jazer and Nimrah and Heshbon and Elealeh and Sebam and Nebo and Beon.
Atarot, Dibon, Jaeser, Nimra, Hesbon, Eleale, Sebam,
4 The land which he defeated Yahweh before [the] congregation of Israel [is] a land of livestock it and [belongs] to servants your livestock.
Nebo und Beon, das Land, welches der HERR vor der Gemeinde Israel geschlagen hat, ist geeignet für das Vieh; nun haben wir, deine Knechte, viel Vieh.
5 And they said if we have found favor in view your let it be given the land this to servants your to a possession may not you make pass over us the Jordan.
Und sie sprachen: Haben wir Gnade vor dir gefunden, so gib dieses Land deinen Knechten zu eigen und führe uns nicht über den Jordan.
6 And he said Moses to [the] descendants of Gad and to [the] descendants of Reuben ¿ brothers your will they go to battle and you will you remain? here.
Und Mose sprach zu den Kindern Gad und zu den Kindern Ruben: Sollen eure Brüder in den Streit ziehen, und ihr wollt hier bleiben?
7 And why? (do you discourage! *Q(K)*) [the] heart of [the] people of Israel from passing over into the land which he has given to them Yahweh.
Warum macht ihr doch das Herz der Kinder Israel abwendig, daß sie nicht hinüberziehen in das Land, das ihnen der HERR geben will?
8 Thus they did fathers your when sent I them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land.
Also taten auch eure Väter, als ich sie von Kadesch-Barnea aussandte, das Land zu beschauen;
9 And they went up to [the] wadi of Eshcol and they saw the land and they discouraged [the] heart of [the] people of Israel to not to go into the land which he had given to them Yahweh.
als sie bis zum Tal Eskol hinaufgekommen waren und das Land sahen, machten sie das Herz der Kinder Israel abwendig, daß sie nicht in das Land ziehen wollten, das ihnen der HERR gegeben hatte.
10 And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on the day that and he swore an oath saying.
Und der Zorn des HERRN entbrannte zu derselben Zeit, und er schwur und sprach:
11 If they will see the men who came up from Egypt from a son of twenty year[s] and up-wards the land which I swore to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob for not they have filled after me.
Fürwahr, die Männer, die aus Ägypten gezogen sind, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber sollen das Land nicht sehen, das ich Abraham, Isaak und Jakob geschworen habe, weil sie mir nicht gänzlich nachgefolgt sind;
12 Except Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua [the] son of Nun for they have filled after Yahweh.
ausgenommen Kaleb, der Sohn Jephunnes, der Kenisiter, und Josua, der Sohn Nuns; denn sie sind dem HERRN gänzlich nachgefolgt.
13 And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on Israel and he made wander them in the wilderness forty year[s] until was finished all the generation which had done the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh.
Also entbrannte der Zorn des HERRN über Israel, und er ließ sie in der Wüste hin und herziehen vierzig Jahre lang, bis das ganze Geschlecht, das vor dem HERRN übel gehandelt hatte, aufgerieben war.
14 And here! you have risen up in place of fathers your a brood of people sinful to add again to [the] burning of [the] anger of Yahweh against Israel.
Und siehe, ihr seid an eurer Väter Statt aufgekommen, eine Brut von Sündern, den Zorn und Grimm des HERRN wider Israel noch größer zu machen.
15 For you will turn back! from after him and he will repeat again to leave it in the wilderness and you will destroy all the people this.
Denn wenn ihr euch von seiner Nachfolge abwendet, so wird er auch sie noch länger in der Wüste lassen, und ihr werdet dieses ganze Volk verderben!
16 And they drew near to him and they said folds of sheep we will build for livestock our here and cities for little one[s] our.
Da traten sie zu ihm und sprachen: Wir wollen nur Schafhürden hier bauen für unser Vieh und Städte für unsere Kinder.
17 And we we will equip ourselves hurried before [the] people of Israel until that we have brought them to place their and it will remain little one[s] our in [the] cities of fortification because of [the] inhabitants of the land.
Wir aber wollen uns rüsten und eilends voranziehen vor den Kindern Israel, bis wir sie an ihren Ort bringen; unsre Kinder sollen in den verschlossenen Städten bleiben um der Einwohner des Landes willen.
18 Not we will return to houses our until have inherited [the] people of Israel everyone inheritance his.
Wir wollen nicht heimkehren, bis die Kinder Israel [das Land] eingenommen haben, ein jeder sein Erbteil.
19 For not we will inherit with them from [the] other side of the Jordan and beyond for it has come inheritance our to us from [the] other side of the Jordan east-ward.
Denn wir wollen nicht mit ihnen erben jenseits des Jordan und weiterhin, sondern unser Erbe soll uns diesseits des Jordan, gegen Morgen zufallen.
20 And he said to them Moses if you will do! the thing this if you will equip yourselves before Yahweh for battle.
Mose sprach zu ihnen: Wenn ihr das tun wollt, daß ihr euch vor dem HERRN zum Streit rüstet,
21 And he will pass over of you every equipped [man] the Jordan before Yahweh until has dispossessed he enemies his from before him.
so zieht, wer unter euch gerüstet ist, über den Jordan vor dem HERRN, bis er seine Feinde vor seinem Angesicht austreibe.
22 And it will be subdued the land before Yahweh and after you will return and you will be free from Yahweh and from Israel and it will belong the land this to you to a possession before Yahweh.
Wenn dann das Land vor dem HERRN unterworfen ist, dann erst sollt ihr umkehren; so werdet ihr vor dem HERRN und vor Israel unschuldig sein, und dieses Land soll euer Besitztum werden vor dem HERRN.
23 And if not you will do! thus there! you have sinned to Yahweh and know sin your that it will find you.
Wenn ihr aber nicht also tut, siehe, so habt ihr euch an dem HERRN versündigt und werdet erfahren, was für eine Strafe euch treffen wird!
24 Build for yourselves cities for little one[s] your and folds for sheep your and the [thing which] has gone out from mouth your you will do.
So baut euch nun Städte für eure Kinder und Hürden für eure Schafe, und tut, was ihr versprochen habt.
25 And he said [the] descendants of Gad and [the] descendants of Reuben to Moses saying servants your they will do just as lord my [is] commanding.
Die Kinder Gad und die Kinder Ruben sprachen zu Mose: Deine Knechte wollen tun, wie mein Herr geboten hat.
26 Little one[s] our wives our livestock our and all cattle our they will be there in [the] cities of Gilead.
Unsre Kinder, unsre Weiber, unsre Habe und all unser Vieh sollen hier in den Städten Gileads bleiben;
27 And servants your they will pass over every equipped [man] of war before Yahweh for battle just as lord my [is] saying.
wir aber, deine Knechte, alle die zum Heereszug gerüstet sind, wollen in den Streit ziehen vor dem HERRN, wie mein Herr geredet hat.
28 And he commanded of them Moses Eleazar the priest and Joshua [the] son of Nun and [the] leaders of [the] fathers of the tribes of [the] people of Israel.
Da gebot Mose Eleasar, dem Priester, und Josua, dem Sohne Nuns, und den Familienhäuptern der Stämme der Kinder Israel;
29 And he said Moses to them if they will pass over [the] descendants of Gad and [the] descendants of Reuben - with you the Jordan every equipped [man] for battle before Yahweh and it will be subdued the land before you and you will give to them [the] land of Gilead to a possession.
und Mose sprach zu ihnen: Wenn die Kinder Gad und die Kinder Ruben mit euch über den Jordan ziehen, alle, die zum Streit gerüstet sind vor dem HERRN, und das Land vor euch eingenommen ist, so gebt ihnen das Land Gilead zu eigen.
30 And if not they will pass over equipped with you and they will have possessions in midst of you in [the] land of Canaan.
Ziehen sie aber nicht gerüstet mit euch, so sollen sie unter euch im Lande Kanaan erben.
31 And they answered [the] descendants of Gad and [the] descendants of Reuben saying [that] which he has spoken Yahweh to servants your thus we will do.
Da antworteten die Kinder Gad und die Kinder Ruben und sprachen: Wie der HERR zu deinen Knechten geredet hat, also wollen wir tun!
32 We we will pass over equipped before Yahweh [the] land of Canaan and [will be] with us [the] possession of inheritance our from [the] other side of the Jordan.
Wir wollen gerüstet in das Land Kanaan ziehen vor dem HERRN und unser Erbe diesseits des Jordan besitzen.
33 And he gave to them - Moses to [the] descendants of Gad and to [the] descendants of Reuben and to [the] half of - [the] tribe of - Manasseh [the] son of Joseph [the] kingdom of Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] and [the] kingdom of Og [the] king of Bashan the land to cities its with territories [the] cities of the land all around.
Also gab Mose den Kindern Gad und den Kindern Ruben und dem halben Stamm Manasse, des Sohnes Josephs, das Königreich Sihons, des Königs der Amoriter, und das Königreich Ogs, des Königs von Basan, das Land samt den Städten im ganzen Gebiet ringsum.
34 And they built [the] descendants of Gad Dibon and Ataroth and Aroer.
Und die Kinder Gad bauten Dibon,
35 And Atroth Shophan and Jazer and Jogbehah.
Atarot und Aroer, und Atarot-Sophan, Jaeser und Jogbeha,
36 And Beth Nimrah and Beth Haran cities of fortification and folds of sheep.
auch Beth-Nimra, und Beth-Haran, befestigte Städte und Schafhürden.
37 And [the] descendants of Reuben they built Heshbon and Elealeh and Kiriathaim.
Die Kinder Ruben aber bauten Hesbon,
38 And Nebo and Baal Meon changed name and Sibmah and they called by names [the] names of the cities which they had built.
Eleale und Kirjataim; desgleichen Nebo und Baal-Meon, deren Namen verändert wurden, und Sibma, und sie gaben den Städten, die sie erbauten, andere Namen.
39 And they went [the] descendants of Makir [the] son of Manasseh Gilead towards and they captured it and he dispossessed the Amorite[s] who [was] in it.
Und die Kinder Machirs, des Sohnes Manasses, zogen nach Gilead und gewannen es und vertrieben die Amoriter, die darin wohnten.
40 And he gave Moses Gilead to Makir [the] son of Manasseh and he dwelt in it.
Da gab Mose dem Machir, dem Sohne Manasses, Gilead; und er wohnte darin.
41 And Jair [the] son of Manasseh he went and he captured villages their and he called them Havvoth Jair.
Jair aber, der Sohn Manasses, ging hin und gewann ihre Dörfer und hieß sie Jairs-Dörfer.
42 And Nobah he went and he captured Kenath and daughters its and he called it Nobah by own name his.
Nobach ging auch hin und gewann Kenat samt ihren Dörfern und hieß sie nach seinem Namen Nobach.
