Numbers 31
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
Yahvé habló a Moisés, diciendo:
2 Avenge [the] vengeance of [the] people of Israel from with the Midianites (after *L(P)*) you will be gathered to people your.
“Véngate de los hijos de Israel contra los madianitas. Después te reunirás con tu pueblo”.
3 And he spoke Moses to the people saying be equipped from with you men for war so they may be on Midian to give [the] vengeance of Yahweh on Midian.
Moisés habló al pueblo diciendo: “Arma a los hombres de entre ustedes para la guerra, para que vayan contra Madián, para ejecutar la venganza de Yahvé contra Madián.
4 One thousand to the tribe one thousand to the tribe for all [the] tribes of Israel you will send out to war.
Enviaréis mil de cada tribu, de todas las tribus de Israel, a la guerra.”
5 And they were selected from [the] thousands of Israel one thousand to the tribe two [plus] ten thousand armed [men] of war.
Así que fueron entregados, de los miles de Israel, mil de cada tribu, doce mil armados para la guerra.
6 And he sent them Moses one thousand to the tribe to war them and Phinehas [the] son of Eleazar the priest to war and [the] vessels of the holy place and [the] trumpets of the alarm [were] in hand his.
Moisés los envió, mil de cada tribu, a la guerra con Finees, hijo del sacerdote Eleazar, a la guerra, con los utensilios santos del santuario y las trompetas de alarma en su mano.
7 And they waged war on Midian just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses and they killed every male.
Lucharon contra Madián, como Yahvé le ordenó a Moisés. Mataron a todos los varones.
8 And [the] kings of Midian they killed with slain [ones] their Evi and Rekem and Zur and Hur and Reba [the] five [the] kings of Midian and Balaam [the] son of Beor they killed with the sword.
Mataron a los reyes de Madián con el resto de sus muertos: Evi, Requem, Zur, Hur y Reba, los cinco reyes de Madián. También mataron a espada a Balaam, hijo de Beor.
9 And they took captive [the] people of Israel [the] women of Midian and little one[s] their and all cattle their and all livestock their and all wealth their they plundered.
Los hijos de Israel tomaron cautivas a las mujeres de Madián con sus hijos, y tomaron como botín todo su ganado, todos sus rebaños y todos sus bienes.
10 And all cities their in dwelling places their and all encampments their they burned with fire.
Quemaron todas sus ciudades en los lugares donde vivían y todos sus campamentos.
11 And they took all the plunder and all the booty among humankind and among the livestock.
Tomaron todos los cautivos y todo el botín, tanto de hombres como de animales.
12 And they brought to Moses and to Eleazar the priest and to [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel the captive[s] and the booty and the plunder to the camp to [the] plains of Moab which [were] at [the] Jordan of Jericho.
Llevaron a los cautivos, con la presa y el botín, a Moisés, al sacerdote Eleazar y a la congregación de los hijos de Israel, al campamento de los llanos de Moab, que están junto al Jordán, en Jericó.
13 And they went out Moses and Eleazar the priest and all [the] leaders of the congregation to meet them to from [the] outside of the camp.
Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar, con todos los jefes de la congregación, salieron a recibirlos fuera del campamento.
14 And he was angry Moses towards [the] officers of the army [the] commanders of the thousands and [the] commanders of the hundreds who were coming from [the] war of the battle.
Moisés se enojó con los oficiales del ejército, los capitanes de mil y los de cien, que venían del servicio de guerra.
15 And he said to them Moses ¿ have you let live every female.
Moisés les dijo: “¿Habéis salvado a todas las mujeres con vida?
16 There! they they were to [the] people of Israel by [the] word of Balaam to offer unfaithfulness in Yahweh on [the] matter of Peor and it was the plague among [the] congregation of Yahweh.
He aquí que éstas hicieron que los hijos de Israel, por consejo de Balaam, cometieran transgresión contra Yahvé en el asunto de Peor, y así fue la plaga en la congregación de Yahvé.
17 And therefore kill every male among the little one[s] and every woman [who has] known a man to [the] lying of a male kill.
Maten, pues, a todo varón entre los pequeños, y maten a toda mujer que haya conocido al hombre acostándose con él.
18 And all the little one[s] among the women who not they have known lying of a male preserve alive for yourselves.
Pero todas las muchachas que no hayan conocido al hombre acostándose con él, manténganse vivas.
19 And you encamp from [the] outside of the camp seven days any [one who] has killed anyone and any - [one who] has touched the [one] slain you will purify yourselves on the day third and on the day seventh you and captive[s] your.
“Acampad fuera del campamento durante siete días. El que haya matado a alguna persona, y el que haya tocado a algún muerto, purificaos al tercer día y al séptimo, vosotros y vuestros cautivos.
20 And every garment and every article of hide and every product of goat hair and every article of wood you will purify yourselves.
Purificaréis todos los vestidos, todo lo que sea de piel, todo lo que sea de pelo de cabra y todo lo que sea de madera.”
21 And he said Eleazar the priest to [the] men of the army who had gone to the battle this [is] [the] statute of the law which he commanded Yahweh Moses.
El sacerdote Eleazar dijo a los hombres de guerra que iban a la batalla: “Este es el estatuto de la ley que Yahvé ha ordenado a Moisés.
22 Only the gold and the silver the bronze the iron the tin and the lead.
Sin embargo, el oro, la plata, el bronce, el hierro, el estaño y el plomo,
23 Every thing which it will go in the fire you will make pass in the fire and it will be pure nevertheless by [the] water of impurity it will purify itself and all that not it will go in the fire you will make pass in the water.
todo lo que pueda resistir el fuego, lo haréis pasar por el fuego, y quedará limpio; no obstante, será purificado con el agua para la impureza. Todo lo que no resista el fuego lo harás pasar por el agua.
24 And you will wash clothes your on the day seventh and you will be pure and after you will come to the camp.
El séptimo día lavarás tus ropas, y quedarás limpio. Después entrarás en el campamento”.
25 And he said Yahweh to Moses saying.
Yahvé habló a Moisés, diciendo:
26 Lift up [the] head of [the] booty of captivity among humankind and among the livestock you and Eleazar the priest and [the] leaders of [the] fathers of the congregation.
“Cuenta el botín que fue tomado, tanto de personas como de animales, tú, y el sacerdote Eleazar, y los jefes de familia de la congregación;
27 And you will divide the booty between [those] skilled of the battle who went out to war and between all the congregation.
y divide el botín en dos partes: entre los hombres hábiles en la guerra, que salieron a la batalla, y toda la congregación.
28 And you will raise a tax for Yahweh from with [the] men of war who went out to war one person from [the] five hundred from humankind and from the cattle and from the donkeys and from the sheep.
Levanten un tributo a Yahvé de los hombres de guerra que salieron a la batalla: un alma de cada quinientos; de las personas, del ganado, de los asnos y de los rebaños.
29 From half their you will take [it] and you will give [it] to Eleazar the priest [the] contribution of Yahweh.
Tómalo de la mitad de ellos y dáselo al sacerdote Eleazar, para la ofrenda mecida de Yahvé.
30 And from [the] half of [the] people of Israel you will take - one - [person] drawn from the fifty from humankind from the cattle from the donkeys and from the sheep from all the livestock and you will give them to the Levites [who] keep [the] service of [the] tabernacle of Yahweh.
De la mitad de los hijos de Israel, tomarás un alma de cada cincuenta, de las personas, del ganado, de los asnos y de los rebaños, de todo el ganado, y se los darás a los levitas, que cumplen con el deber del tabernáculo de Yahvé.”
31 And he did Moses and Eleazar the priest just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar hicieron lo que Yahvé les ordenó.
32 And it was the booty [the] remainder of the plunder which they had plundered [the] people of the army sheep six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand.
El botín, además del botín que tomaron los hombres de guerra, fue de seiscientas setenta y cinco mil ovejas,
33 And cattle two and seventy thousand.
setenta y dos mil cabezas de ganado,
34 And donkeys one and sixty thousand.
sesenta y un mil asnos,
35 And [the] person[s] of humankind from the women who not they had known lying of a male every person two and thirty thousand.
y treinta y dos mil personas en total, de las mujeres que no habían conocido al hombre acostándose con él.
36 And it was the half [the] portion of those [who] had gone out in the army [the] number of the sheep [was] three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred.
La mitad, que era la porción de los que salían a la guerra, era en número de trescientas treinta y siete mil quinientas ovejas;
37 And it was the tax for Yahweh from the sheep six hundred five and seventy.
y el tributo de las ovejas era de seiscientas setenta y cinco.
38 And the cattle [were] six and thirty thousand and tax their for Yahweh [was] two and seventy.
El ganado vacuno era de treinta y seis mil, de los cuales el tributo de Yahvé era de setenta y dos.
39 And donkeys [were] thirty thousand and five hundred and tax their for Yahweh [was] one and sixty.
Los asnos eran treinta mil quinientos, de los cuales el tributo del Señor era sesenta y uno.
40 And [the] person[s] of humankind [were] six-teen thousand and tax their for Yahweh [was] two and thirty person[s].
Las personas eran dieciséis mil, de las cuales el tributo de Yahvé era de treinta y dos personas.
41 And he gave Moses [the] tax of [the] contribution of Yahweh to Eleazar the priest just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
Moisés entregó el tributo, que era la ofrenda mecida de Yahvé, al sacerdote Eleazar, como Yahvé se lo había ordenado a Moisés.
42 And from [the] half of [the] people of Israel which he had divided Moses from the men who had gone to war.
De la mitad de los hijos de Israel, que Moisés repartió entre los hombres que combatieron
43 And it was [the] half of the congregation from the sheep three hundred thousand and thirty thousand seven thousand and five hundred.
(la mitad de la congregación era de trescientas treinta y siete mil quinientas ovejas,
44 And cattle six and thirty thousand.
treinta y seis mil cabezas de ganado,
45 And donkeys thirty thousand and five hundred.
treinta mil quinientos asnos
46 And person[s] of humankind six-teen thousand.
y dieciséis mil personas),
47 And he took Moses from [the] half of [the] people of Israel those drawn one from the fifty from humankind and from the livestock and he gave them to the Levites [who] keep [the] service of [the] tabernacle of Yahweh just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
de la mitad de los hijos de Israel, Moisés tomó un animal de cada cincuenta, tanto de hombres como de animales, y se los dio a los levitas, que cumplían con el deber del tabernáculo de Yahvé, como Yahvé le ordenó a Moisés.
48 And they drew near to Moses the officers who [were] of [the] thousands of the army [the] commanders of the thousands and [the] commanders of the hundreds.
Se acercaron a Moisés los oficiales que estaban al frente de los miles del ejército, los capitanes de miles y los de cientos.
49 And they said to Moses servants your they have lifted up [the] head of [the] men of war who [were] in hand our and not he is missing from us anyone.
Le dijeron a Moisés: “Tus siervos han tomado la suma de los hombres de guerra que están bajo nuestro mando, y no falta ni uno de nosotros.
50 And we have brought near [the] offering of Yahweh everyone [that] which he found an article of gold an armlet and a bracelet a signet-ring an earring and an ornament to make atonement on selves our before Yahweh.
Hemos traído la ofrenda de Yahvé, lo que cada uno encontró: adornos de oro, brazaletes, pulseras, anillos de sello, pendientes y collares, para expiar nuestras almas ante Yahvé.”
51 And he took Moses and Eleazar the priest the gold from with them every article of work.
Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar tomaron su oro, todas las joyas trabajadas.
52 And it was - all [the] gold of the contribution which they raised for Yahweh six-teen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekel[s] from with [the] commanders of the thousands and from with [the] commanders of the hundreds.
Todo el oro de la ofrenda de ola que ofrecieron a Yahvé, de los capitanes de millares y de los capitanes de centenas, fue de dieciséis mil setecientos cincuenta siclos.
53 [the] men of The army they had taken plunder everyone for himself.
Los hombres de guerra habían tomado un botín, cada uno para sí mismo.
54 And he took Moses and Eleazar the priest the gold from with [the] commanders of the thousands and the hundreds and they brought it into [the] tent of meeting a memorial for [the] people of Israel before Yahweh.
Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar tomaron el oro de los capitanes de millares y de centenas, y lo llevaron a la Tienda del Encuentro como memorial para los hijos de Israel ante Yahvé.
