Numbers 31
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਕਿ
2 Avenge [the] vengeance of [the] people of Israel from with the Midianites (after *L(P)*) you will be gathered to people your.
੨ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਿਦਯਾਨੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈ, ਫਿਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਮਿਲੇਂਗਾ।
3 And he spoke Moses to the people saying be equipped from with you men for war so they may be on Midian to give [the] vengeance of Yahweh on Midian.
੩ਤਦ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਸਤਰ ਧਾਰੀ ਬਣਾਓ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮਿਦਯਾਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਮਿਦਯਾਨੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈਣ।
4 One thousand to the tribe one thousand to the tribe for all [the] tribes of Israel you will send out to war.
੪ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਗੋਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜੋ।
5 And they were selected from [the] thousands of Israel one thousand to the tribe two [plus] ten thousand armed [men] of war.
੫ਤਦ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਗੋਤ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਯੁੱਧ ਲਈ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸ਼ਸਤਰ ਧਾਰੀ ਸਨ।
6 And he sent them Moses one thousand to the tribe to war them and Phinehas [the] son of Eleazar the priest to war and [the] vessels of the holy place and [the] trumpets of the alarm [were] in hand his.
੬ਉਪਰੰਤ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਗੋਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਫ਼ੀਨਹਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਭਾਂਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਚੌਕਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ।
7 And they waged war on Midian just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses and they killed every male.
੭ਸੋ ਉਹ ਮਿਦਯਾਨੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
8 And [the] kings of Midian they killed with slain [ones] their Evi and Rekem and Zur and Hur and Reba [the] five [the] kings of Midian and Balaam [the] son of Beor they killed with the sword.
੮ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਦਯਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਅੱਵੀ, ਰਕਮ, ਸੂਰ, ਹੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਬਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਿਦਯਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਬਓਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
9 And they took captive [the] people of Israel [the] women of Midian and little one[s] their and all cattle their and all livestock their and all wealth their they plundered.
੯ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਦਯਾਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਡੰਗਰ, ਸਾਰੇ ਝੁੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਝ ਲੁੱਟ ਲਿਆ।
10 And all cities their in dwelling places their and all encampments their they burned with fire.
੧੦ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਛਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਸਨ, ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਫੂਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
11 And they took all the plunder and all the booty among humankind and among the livestock.
੧੧ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੁੱਟ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਮਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਕੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ, ਕੀ ਡੰਗਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਲੈ ਲਏ।
12 And they brought to Moses and to Eleazar the priest and to [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel the captive[s] and the booty and the plunder to the camp to [the] plains of Moab which [were] at [the] Jordan of Jericho.
੧੨ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੂਸਾ, ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਕੋਲ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਮਾਲ ਡੰਗਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਲੁੱਟ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਰਦਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ, ਲੈ ਆਏ।
13 And they went out Moses and Eleazar the priest and all [the] leaders of the congregation to meet them to from [the] outside of the camp.
੧੩ਤਦ ਮੂਸਾ, ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਡੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਗਏ।
14 And he was angry Moses towards [the] officers of the army [the] commanders of the thousands and [the] commanders of the hundreds who were coming from [the] war of the battle.
੧੪ਪਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਂਕੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੁੜ੍ਹ ਆਏ, ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ।
15 And he said to them Moses ¿ have you let live every female.
੧੫ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ?
16 There! they they were to [the] people of Israel by [the] word of Balaam to offer unfaithfulness in Yahweh on [the] matter of Peor and it was the plague among [the] congregation of Yahweh.
੧੬ਵੇਖੋ, ਇਹ ਉਹ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਦੀ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ, ਪਓਰ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਤਦ ਬਵਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲੀ।
17 And therefore kill every male among the little one[s] and every woman [who has] known a man to [the] lying of a male kill.
੧੭ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਨਰ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿਓ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿਓ।
18 And all the little one[s] among the women who not they have known lying of a male preserve alive for yourselves.
੧੮ਪਰ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਕੁਆਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਰੱਖੋ।
19 And you encamp from [the] outside of the camp seven days any [one who] has killed anyone and any - [one who] has touched the [one] slain you will purify yourselves on the day third and on the day seventh you and captive[s] your.
੧੯ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਡੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਦਿਨ ਬਾਹਰ ਰਹੋ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਤੀਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ।
20 And every garment and every article of hide and every product of goat hair and every article of wood you will purify yourselves.
੨੦ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਮੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਕਰੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਸਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੱਕੜੀ ਦੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰੋ।
21 And he said Eleazar the priest to [the] men of the army who had gone to the battle this [is] [the] statute of the law which he commanded Yahweh Moses.
੨੧ਤਦ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਬਿਧੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
22 Only the gold and the silver the bronze the iron the tin and the lead.
੨੨ਸੋਨਾ, ਚਾਂਦੀ, ਪਿੱਤਲ, ਲੋਹਾ, ਜਿਸਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਕਾ।
23 Every thing which it will go in the fire you will make pass in the fire and it will be pure nevertheless by [the] water of impurity it will purify itself and all that not it will go in the fire you will make pass in the water.
੨੩ਅਰਥਾਤ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਚੀਜ਼, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਸਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਾਓ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧਤਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਜਲ ਨਾਲ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਪੈ ਸਕੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਾਓ।
24 And you will wash clothes your on the day seventh and you will be pure and after you will come to the camp.
੨੪ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਧੋਵੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ, ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਓ।
25 And he said Yahweh to Moses saying.
੨੫ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ,
26 Lift up [the] head of [the] booty of captivity among humankind and among the livestock you and Eleazar the priest and [the] leaders of [the] fathers of the congregation.
੨੬ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਲੁੱਟ ਦੇ ਮਾਲ ਦਾ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਡੰਗਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ, ਲੇਖਾ ਕਰ।
27 And you will divide the booty between [those] skilled of the battle who went out to war and between all the congregation.
੨੭ਤੂੰ ਲੁੱਟ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡ।
28 And you will raise a tax for Yahweh from with [the] men of war who went out to war one person from [the] five hundred from humankind and from the cattle and from the donkeys and from the sheep.
੨੮ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਨ ਲਈਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਨ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਵੱਗ ਦੀ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਗਧਿਆਂ ਦੀ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਇੱਜੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
29 From half their you will take [it] and you will give [it] to Eleazar the priest [the] contribution of Yahweh.
੨੯ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੱਧ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੇਵੀਂ।
30 And from [the] half of [the] people of Israel you will take - one - [person] drawn from the fifty from humankind from the cattle from the donkeys and from the sheep from all the livestock and you will give them to the Levites [who] keep [the] service of [the] tabernacle of Yahweh.
੩੦ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਧ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਲੈ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਵੱਗ ਦਾ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਗਧਿਆਂ ਦਾ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਇੱਜੜ ਦਾ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵੀਂ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
31 And he did Moses and Eleazar the priest just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
੩੧ਜਿਹੜਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਸੇ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ।
32 And it was the booty [the] remainder of the plunder which they had plundered [the] people of the army sheep six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand.
੩੨ਮਾਲ ਡੰਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਲੁੱਟਿਆ, ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੇ ਲੱਖ ਪੰਝੱਤਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਭੇਡਾਂ,
33 And cattle two and seventy thousand.
੩੩ਬਹੱਤਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਬਲ਼ਦ,
34 And donkeys one and sixty thousand.
੩੪ਇੱਕਾਹਠ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਗਧੇ,
35 And [the] person[s] of humankind from the women who not they had known lying of a male every person two and thirty thousand.
੩੫ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਹ ਕੁਆਰੀਆਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਬੱਤੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ,
36 And it was the half [the] portion of those [who] had gone out in the army [the] number of the sheep [was] three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred.
੩੬ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਗਏ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਾਗ ਤਿੰਨ ਲੱਖ ਸੈਂਤੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਸਨ,
37 And it was the tax for Yahweh from the sheep six hundred five and seventy.
੩੭ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਲਗਾਨ ਇਹ ਸੀ, ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਪੰਝੱਤਰ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਕਰੀਆਂ,
38 And the cattle [were] six and thirty thousand and tax their for Yahweh [was] two and seventy.
੩੮ਅਤੇ ਬਲ਼ਦ ਛੱਤੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਲਗਾਨ ਬਹੱਤਰ ਸਨ
39 And donkeys [were] thirty thousand and five hundred and tax their for Yahweh [was] one and sixty.
੩੯ਗਧੇ ਤੀਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਲਗਾਨ ਇੱਕਾਹਠ ਸਨ
40 And [the] person[s] of humankind [were] six-teen thousand and tax their for Yahweh [was] two and thirty person[s].
੪੦ਅਤੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਸੌਲਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਲਗਾਨ ਬੱਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਸਨ
41 And he gave Moses [the] tax of [the] contribution of Yahweh to Eleazar the priest just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
੪੧ਤਾਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਲਗਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਕੇ, ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
42 And from [the] half of [the] people of Israel which he had divided Moses from the men who had gone to war.
੪੨ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੰਡਿਆ
43 And it was [the] half of the congregation from the sheep three hundred thousand and thirty thousand seven thousand and five hundred.
੪੩ਅਤੇ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਇਹ ਸੀ, ਭੇਡਾਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਲੱਖ ਸੈਂਤੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ,
44 And cattle six and thirty thousand.
੪੪ਗਾਂ-ਬਲ਼ਦ ਛੱਤੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ,
45 And donkeys thirty thousand and five hundred.
੪੫ਗਧੇ ਤੀਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ,
46 And person[s] of humankind six-teen thousand.
੪੬ਇਨਸਾਨ ਸੌਲਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ
47 And he took Moses from [the] half of [the] people of Israel those drawn one from the fifty from humankind and from the livestock and he gave them to the Levites [who] keep [the] service of [the] tabernacle of Yahweh just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
੪੭ਇਸ ਅੱਧੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਪੁਰਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਪੰਜਾਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
48 And they drew near to Moses the officers who [were] of [the] thousands of the army [the] commanders of the thousands and [the] commanders of the hundreds.
੪੮ਤਾਂ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਨ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਂਕੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੂਸਾ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ
49 And they said to Moses servants your they have lifted up [the] head of [the] men of war who [were] in hand our and not he is missing from us anyone.
੪੯ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਘਟਿਆ।
50 And we have brought near [the] offering of Yahweh everyone [that] which he found an article of gold an armlet and a bracelet a signet-ring an earring and an ornament to make atonement on selves our before Yahweh.
੫੦ਅਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵਾ ਲਿਆਏ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਲੱਗਾ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਗਹਿਣੇ, ਪਜੇਬਾਂ, ਕੜੇ, ਛਾਪਾਂ, ਬਾਲ਼ੀਆਂ ਬਾਜ਼ੂਬੰਦ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਚਿਤ ਕਰੀਏ।
51 And he took Moses and Eleazar the priest the gold from with them every article of work.
੫੧ਤਦ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਘੜਤ ਦੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਲਏ
52 And it was - all [the] gold of the contribution which they raised for Yahweh six-teen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekel[s] from with [the] commanders of the thousands and from with [the] commanders of the hundreds.
੫੨ਅਤੇ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਸੋਨਾ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਸਵਾ ਕੁ ਪੰਜ ਮਣ ਪੱਕਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਂਕੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਇਆ।
53 [the] men of The army they had taken plunder everyone for himself.
੫੩ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਲੁੱਟਿਆ ਸੀ
54 And he took Moses and Eleazar the priest the gold from with [the] commanders of the thousands and the hundreds and they brought it into [the] tent of meeting a memorial for [the] people of Israel before Yahweh.
੫੪ਤਾਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ, ਉਹ ਸੋਨਾ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਂਕੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਇੱਕ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
