Numbers 27
1 And they drew near [the] daughters of Zelophehad [the] son of Hepher [the] son of Gilead [the] son of Makir [the] son of Manasseh of [the] clans of Manasseh [the] son of Joseph and these [were] [the] names of daughters his Mahlah Noah and Hoglah and Milcah and Tirzah.
Entonces las hijas de Zelofehad, hijo de Hefer, hijo de Galaad, hijo de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, de las familias de Manasés, hijo de José, se presentaron: sus nombres son Mahá, Noé. y Hogla, y Milca, y Tirsa.
2 And they took their stand before Moses and before Eleazar the priest and before the leaders and all the congregation [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting saying.
Se presentaron ante Moisés y Eleazar, el sacerdote, los jefes y todo el pueblo a la puerta del tabernáculo de reunión, y dijeron:
3 Father our he died in the wilderness and he not he was in among the company which gathered on Yahweh in [the] company of Korah for in own sin his he died and sons not they belonged to him.
La muerte alcanzó a nuestro padre en el desierto; no estaba entre los que estaban unidos con Coré contra el Señor; pero la muerte vino a él en su pecado; y no tuvo hijos.
4 Why? will it be withdrawn [the] name of father our from among clan his for not [belonged] to him a son give! to us a possession in among [the] brothers of father our.
¿Por qué se quita el nombre de nuestro padre de entre su familia porque no tuvo un hijo? Danos una herencia entre los hermanos de nuestro padre.
5 And he brought near Moses case their before Yahweh.
Entonces Moisés puso su causa delante del Señor.
6 And he said Yahweh to Moses saying.
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
7 Right [the] daughters of Zelophehad [are] speaking certainly you will give to them possession of an inheritance in among [the] brothers of father their and you will make pass over [the] inheritance of father their to them.
Lo que las hijas de Zelofehad dicen es correcto: ciertamente debes darles una herencia entre los hermanos de su padre, y dejar que la propiedad que hubiera sido la de su padre vaya a ellas.
8 And to [the] people of Israel you will speak saying a man if he will die and a son not [belongs] to him and you will make pass over inheritance his to daughter his.
Y di a los hijos de Israel: Si un hombre no tiene un hijo en el momento de su muerte, deje que su herencia vaya a su hija.
9 And if not [belongs] to him a daughter and you will give inheritance his to brothers his.
Y si no tiene hija, dale su herencia a sus hermanos.
10 And if not [belong] to him brothers and you will give inheritance his to [the] brothers of father his.
Y si él no tiene hermanos, entonces dales su herencia a los hermanos de su padre.
11 And if not brothers [belong] to father his and you will give inheritance his to relative his near to him from own clan his and he will take possession of it and it will become for [the] people of Israel a statute of judgment just as he has commanded Yahweh Moses.
Y si su padre no tiene hermanos, entonces dáselo a su relación más cercana en la familia, como su herencia. Está es una decisión tomada por la ley para los hijos de Israel, como el Señor le dio órdenes a Moisés.
12 And he said Yahweh to Moses go up to [the] mountain of the Abarim this and see the land which I have given to [the] people of Israel.
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés: Sube a este monte de Abarim para que veas la tierra que he dado a los hijos de Israel.
13 And you will see it and you will be gathered to people your also you just as he was gathered Aaron brother your.
Y cuando lo hayas visto, serás reunido con tu gente, como lo fue tu hermano Aarón:
14 Since you rebelled against mouth my in [the] wilderness of Zin in [the] strife of the congregation to treat as holy me at the waters to eyes their they [were] [the] waters of Meribath Kadesh [the] wilderness of Zin.
Porque en él desierto de Zin, cuando la gente estaba enojada, tú y él fueron contra mi palabra y no guardaron mi nombre santo ante sus ojos, en las aguas. (Estas son las aguas de Rencilla de Cades, en la tierra baldía de Zin).
15 And he spoke Moses to Yahweh saying.
Entonces Moisés dijo al Señor:
16 Let him appoint Yahweh [the] God of the spirits of all flesh a man over the congregation.
Dejen que el Señor, el Dios de los espíritus de toda carne, ponga a un hombre a la cabeza de este pueblo.
17 Who he will go out before them and who he will come before them and who he will lead out them and who he will bring them and not it will be [the] congregation of Yahweh like sheep which not [belongs] to them a shepherd.
Para salir y entrar delante de ellos y ser su guía; para que la gente del Señor no sea como ovejas sin un cuidador.
18 And he said Yahweh to Moses take for yourself Joshua [the] son of Nun a man whom a spirit [is] in him and you will lay hand your on him.
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés: Toma a Josué, hijo de Nun, hombre en quien está el espíritu, y pon tu mano sobre él;
19 And you will make stand him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation and you will commission him to eyes their.
Llevándolo ante el sacerdote Eleazar y toda la reunión del pueblo, y dale su cargo delante de todos ellos.
20 And you will put some of majesty your on him so that they may hear all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel.
Y pon tu autoridad sobre él, para que todos los hijos de Israel estén bajo su autoridad y obedezcan.
21 And before Eleazar the priest he will stand and he will enquire for him by [the] judgment of the Urim before Yahweh on mouth his they will go out and on mouth his they will come he and all [the] people of Israel with him and all the congregation.
Él tomará su lugar ante el sacerdote Eleazar, para que pueda obtener instrucciones del Señor para él, con el Urim. Saldrán a la palabra del Señor, y a su palabra entrarán, él y todos los hijos de israel y toda la congregación.
22 And he did Moses just as he had commanded Yahweh him and he took Joshua and he made stand him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation.
Entonces Moisés hizo lo que el Señor le dijo: tomó a Josué y lo puso delante del sacerdote Eleazar y de la congregación del pueblo:
23 And he laid hands his on him and he commissioned him just as he had spoken Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses.
Y puso sus manos sobre él y le dio su cargo, como el Señor había dicho por Moisés.
