Numbers 27
1 And they drew near [the] daughters of Zelophehad [the] son of Hepher [the] son of Gilead [the] son of Makir [the] son of Manasseh of [the] clans of Manasseh [the] son of Joseph and these [were] [the] names of daughters his Mahlah Noah and Hoglah and Milcah and Tirzah.
അനന്തരം യോസേഫിന്റെ മകനായ മനശ്ശെയുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളിൽ മനശ്ശെയുടെ മകനായ മാഖീരിന്റെ മകനായ ഗിലെയാദിന്റെ മകനായ ഹേഫെരിന്റെ മകനായ സെലോഫഹാദിന്റെ പുത്രിമാർ അടുത്തുവന്നു. അവന്റെ പുത്രിമാർ മഹ്ലാ, നോവ, ഹോഗ്ല, മിൽക്കാ, തിർസാ എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു.
2 And they took their stand before Moses and before Eleazar the priest and before the leaders and all the congregation [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting saying.
അവർ സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കൽ മോശെയുടെയും എലെയാസാർപുരോഹിതന്റെയും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെയും സർവ്വസഭയുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ നിന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:
3 Father our he died in the wilderness and he not he was in among the company which gathered on Yahweh in [the] company of Korah for in own sin his he died and sons not they belonged to him.
ഞങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പൻ മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു മരിച്ചുപോയി; എന്നാൽ അവൻ യഹോവെക്കു വിരോധമായി കോരഹിനോടു കൂടിയവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ചേർന്നിരുന്നില്ല; അവൻ സ്വന്തപാപത്താൽ അത്രേ മരിച്ചതു; അവന്നു പുത്രന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുമില്ല.
4 Why? will it be withdrawn [the] name of father our from among clan his for not [belonged] to him a son give! to us a possession in among [the] brothers of father our.
ഞങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പന്നു മകൻ ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ പേർ കുടുംബത്തിൽനിന്നു ഇല്ലാതെയാകുന്നതു എന്തു? അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു അവകാശം തരേണം.
5 And he brought near Moses case their before Yahweh.
മോശെ അവരുടെ കാര്യം യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ വെച്ചു.
6 And he said Yahweh to Moses saying.
യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:
7 Right [the] daughters of Zelophehad [are] speaking certainly you will give to them possession of an inheritance in among [the] brothers of father their and you will make pass over [the] inheritance of father their to them.
സെലോഫഹാദിന്റെ പുത്രിമാർ പറയുന്നതു ശരിതന്നേ; അവരുടെ അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവർക്കു ഒരു അവകാശം കൊടുക്കേണം; അവരുടെ അപ്പന്റെ അവകാശം അവർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണം.
8 And to [the] people of Israel you will speak saying a man if he will die and a son not [belongs] to him and you will make pass over inheritance his to daughter his.
നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഒരുത്തൻ മകനില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചാൽ അവന്റെ അവകാശം അവന്റെ മകൾക്കു കൊടുക്കേണം.
9 And if not [belongs] to him a daughter and you will give inheritance his to brothers his.
അവന്നു മകൾ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നാൽ അവന്റെ അവകാശം അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണം.
10 And if not [belong] to him brothers and you will give inheritance his to [the] brothers of father his.
അവന്നു സഹോദരന്മാർ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നാൽ അവന്റെ അവകാശം അവന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണം.
11 And if not brothers [belong] to father his and you will give inheritance his to relative his near to him from own clan his and he will take possession of it and it will become for [the] people of Israel a statute of judgment just as he has commanded Yahweh Moses.
അവന്റെ അപ്പന്നു സഹോദരന്മാർ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിൽ അവന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരന്നു അവന്റെ അവകാശം കൊടുക്കേണം; അവൻ അതു കൈവശമാക്കേണം; ഇതു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആയിരിക്കേണം.
12 And he said Yahweh to Moses go up to [the] mountain of the Abarim this and see the land which I have given to [the] people of Israel.
അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: ഈ അബാരീംമലയിൽ കയറി ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശം നോക്കുക.
13 And you will see it and you will be gathered to people your also you just as he was gathered Aaron brother your.
അതു കണ്ടശേഷം നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോനെപ്പോലെ നീയും നിന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ചേരും.
14 Since you rebelled against mouth my in [the] wilderness of Zin in [the] strife of the congregation to treat as holy me at the waters to eyes their they [were] [the] waters of Meribath Kadesh [the] wilderness of Zin.
സഭയുടെ കലഹത്തിങ്കൽ നിങ്ങൾ സീൻമരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു അവർ കാൺകെ വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ എന്നെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കാതെ എന്റെ കല്പനയെ മറുത്തതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ. സീൻമരുഭൂമിയിൽ കാദേശിലെ കലഹജലം അതു തന്നേ.
15 And he spoke Moses to Yahweh saying.
അപ്പോൾ മോശെ യഹോവയോടു:
16 Let him appoint Yahweh [the] God of the spirits of all flesh a man over the congregation.
യഹോവയുടെ സഭ ഇടയനില്ലാത്ത ആടുകളെപ്പോലെ ആകാതിരിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവർക്കു മുമ്പായി പോകുവാനും അവർക്കു മുമ്പായി വരുവാനും അവരെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാനും
17 Who he will go out before them and who he will come before them and who he will lead out them and who he will bring them and not it will be [the] congregation of Yahweh like sheep which not [belongs] to them a shepherd.
അകത്തുകൊണ്ടു വരുവാനും സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും ആത്മാക്കളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ സഭയുടെമേൽ ഒരാളെ നിയമിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
18 And he said Yahweh to Moses take for yourself Joshua [the] son of Nun a man whom a spirit [is] in him and you will lay hand your on him.
യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: എന്റെ ആത്മാവുള്ള പുരുഷനായി നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയെ വിളിച്ചു അവന്റെ മേൽ കൈവെച്ചു
19 And you will make stand him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation and you will commission him to eyes their.
അവനെ പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെയും സർവ്വസഭയുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ നിർത്തി അവർ കാൺകെ അവന്നു ആജ്ഞ കൊടുക്ക.
20 And you will put some of majesty your on him so that they may hear all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel.
യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സഭയെല്ലാം അനുസരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ മഹിമയിൽ ഒരംശം അവന്റെ മേൽ വെക്കേണം.
21 And before Eleazar the priest he will stand and he will enquire for him by [the] judgment of the Urim before Yahweh on mouth his they will go out and on mouth his they will come he and all [the] people of Israel with him and all the congregation.
അവൻ പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നില്ക്കേണം; അവൻ അവന്നുവേണ്ടി യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഊരീംമുഖാന്തരം അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിക്കേണം; അവനും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സർവ്വസഭയും അവന്റെ വാക്കുപ്രകാരം പോകയും അവന്റെ വാക്കുപ്രകാരം വരികയും വേണം.
22 And he did Moses just as he had commanded Yahweh him and he took Joshua and he made stand him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation.
യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ മോശെ ചെയ്തു; അവൻ യോശുവയെ വിളിച്ചു പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെയും സർവ്വസഭയുടെയു മുമ്പാകെ നിർത്തി.
23 And he laid hands his on him and he commissioned him just as he had spoken Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses.
അവന്റെമേൽ കൈവെച്ചു യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവന്നു ആജ്ഞ കൊടുത്തു.
