Numbers 20
1 And they came [the] people of Israel all the congregation [the] wilderness of Zin in the month first and it remained the people in Kadesh and she died there Miriam and she was buried there.
૧પહેલા મહિનામાં ઇઝરાયલ લોકોની આખી જમાત સીનના અરણ્યમાં આવી; તેઓ કાદેશમાં રહ્યા. ત્યાં મરિયમ મરણ પામી અને તેને ત્યાં દફનાવવામાં આવી.
2 And not it belonged water to the congregation and they assembled on Moses and on Aaron.
૨ત્યાં લોકો માટે પીવાનું પાણી નહોતું, તેથી તેઓ મૂસાની અને હારુનની વિરુદ્ધ એકત્ર થયા.
3 And it quarreled the people with Moses and they said saying and if we had died when died brothers our before Yahweh.
૩લોકો મૂસા વિરુદ્ધ ફરિયાદ કરીને કહેવા લાગ્યા, “જ્યારે અમારા ભાઈઓ યહોવાહની સામે મરણ પામ્યા ત્યારે અમે પણ મરી ગયા હોત તો કેવું સારું!
4 And why? have you brought [the] assembly of Yahweh into the wilderness this to die there we and livestock our.
૪તમે યહોવાહના લોકોને આ અરણ્યમાં કેમ લાવ્યા છો, અમે તથા અમારાં જાનવરો મરી જઈએ?
5 And why? have you brought up us from Egypt to bring us to the place the evil this not - a place of seed and fig tree and vine and pomegranate and [is] water there not to drink.
૫આ ભયાનક જગ્યામાં લાવવાને તું અમને મિસરમાંથી કેમ બહાર લાવ્યો છે? અહીંતો દાણા, અંજીરો, દ્રાક્ષા કે દાડમો નથી. અને પીવા માટે પાણી પણ નથી.”
6 And he went Moses and Aaron from before the assembly to [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting and they fell on faces their and it appeared [the] glory of Yahweh to them.
૬મૂસા તથા હારુન સભા આગળથી નીકળી ગયા. તેઓ મુલાકાતમંડપના દ્વાર પાસે ગયા અને ઉંધા પડ્યા. ત્યાં તેઓની સમક્ષ યહોવાહનું ગૌરવ પ્રગટ થયું.
7 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
૭યહોવાહે મૂસા સાથે વાત કરીને કહ્યું,
8 Take the rod and assemble the congregation you and Aaron brother your and you will speak to the rock to eyes their and it will give water its and you will bring out for them water from the rock and you will give drink to the congregation and livestock their.
૮“લાકડી લે અને તું તથા તારો ભાઈ હારુન સમુદાયને એકત્ર કરો. તેઓની આંખો સમક્ષ ખડકને કહે કે તે પોતાનું પાણી આપે. તું ખડકમાંથી તેઓને સારુ પાણી વહેતું કર, તે તું જમાતને તથા જાનવરને પીવા માટે આપ.”
9 And he took Moses the rod from to before Yahweh just as he had commanded him.
૯જેમ યહોવાહે મૂસાને આજ્ઞા કરી હતી તેમ મૂસાએ યહોવાહ આગળથી લાકડી લીધી.
10 And they made assemble Moses and Aaron the assembly to [the] face of the rock and he said to them listen please O rebels ¿ from the rock this will we bring out for you water.
૧૦પછી મૂસાએ અને હારુને જમાતને ખડક આગળ ભેગી કરી. મૂસાએ તેઓને કહ્યું, “હવે, હે બળવાખોરો સાંભળો, શું અમે તમારે સારુ આ ખડકમાંથી પાણી બહાર કાઢીએ?”
11 And he raised Moses hand his and he struck the rock with rod his two times and they came out waters many and it drank the congregation and livestock their.
૧૧પછી મૂસાએ પોતાનો હાથ ઊંચો કરીને પોતાની લાકડી ખડકને બે વાર મારી, પુષ્કળ પાણી બહાર વહી આવ્યું. આખી જમાતે પાણી પીધું અને તેઓનાં જાનવરોએ પણ પીધું.
12 And he said Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron because not you believed me to treat as holy me to [the] eyes of [the] people of Israel therefore not you will bring the assembly this into the land which I have given to them.
૧૨પછી યહોવાહે મૂસાને અને હારુનને કહ્યું, કેમ કે તમે મારા પર ભરોસો ન કર્યો, કે ઇઝરાયલ લોકોની દ્રષ્ટિમાં મને પવિત્ર મનાવ્યો નહિ, માટે જે દેશ મેં આ સભાને આપ્યો છે તેમાં તમે તેઓને પહોંચાડશો નહિ.”
13 They [were] [the] waters of Meribah where they quarreled [the] people of Israel with Yahweh and he showed himself holy among them.
૧૩આ જગ્યાનું નામ મરીબાહનું પાણી એવું પાડવામાં આવ્યું, કેમ કે ત્યાં ઇઝરાયલના લોકોએ યહોવાહ સાથે ઝઘડો કર્યો હતો, તેઓ મધ્યે તેમણે પોતાને પવિત્ર મનાવ્યા.
14 And he sent Moses messengers from Kadesh to [the] king of Edom thus he says brother your Israel you you know all the hardship which it has come upon us.
૧૪મૂસાએ કાદેશથી અદોમના રાજા પાસે સંદેશાવાહકો મોકલ્યા: તારો ભાઈ ઇઝરાયલ એવું કહે છે: “જે સર્વ મુસીબતો અમારા પર આવી તે તું જાણે છે.
15 And they went down ancestors our Egypt towards and we dwelt in Egypt days many and they did harm to us Egypt and to ancestors our.
૧૫અમારા પિતૃઓ મિસરમાં ગયા અને મિસરમાં લાંબો સમય રહ્યા, મિસરીઓએ અમને તથા અમારા પિતૃઓને દુ: ખ આપ્યું તે પણ તું જાણે છે.
16 And we cried out to Yahweh and he heard voice our and he sent an angel and he brought out us from Egypt and here! we [are] in Kadesh city of [the] outskirt[s] of territory your.
૧૬જ્યારે અમે યહોવાહને પોકાર કર્યો, ત્યારે યહોવાહે અમારો અવાજ સાંભળ્યો અને દૂતને મોકલીને અમને મિસરમાંથી બહાર લાવ્યા. જો, અમે તારા દેશની સરહદના કાદેશ શહેરમાં છીએ.
17 Let us pass please in land your not we will pass in a field and in a vineyard and not we will drink water of a well [the] way of the king we will go not we will turn aside right and left until that we will pass through territory your.
૧૭મહેરબાની કરીને અમને તારા દેશમાં થઈને જવા દે. અમે ખેતરમાં કે દ્રાક્ષવાડીમાં થઈને નહિ જઈએ, કે અમે તારા કૂવાઓનું પાણી નહિ પીએ. અમે રાજમાર્ગે થઈને જઈશું. તારી સરહદ પસાર કરતા સુધી અમે ડાબે કે જમણે હાથે નહિ ફરીએ.”
18 And it said to him Edom not you will pass in me lest with the sword I should come out to meet you.
૧૮પણ અદોમના રાજાએ તેને જવાબ આપ્યો, “તું અહીંથી જઈશ નહિ. જો તું એવું કરીશ, તો હું તારા પર હુમલો કરવા તલવાર લઈને આવીશ.”
19 And they said to him [the] people of Israel on the highway we will go up and if waters your we will drink I and livestock my and I will give price their only there not [is] a thing on feet my let me pass through.
૧૯ત્યારે ઇઝરાયલના લોકોએ તેને કહ્યું, “અમે રાજમાર્ગે થઈને જઈશું. જો અમે કે અમારાં જાનવરો તારા કૂવાનું પીએ, તો અમે તેનું મૂલ્ય આપીશું. બીજું કશું નહિ તો અમને પગે ચાલીને પેલી બાજુ જવા દે.”
20 And it said not you will pass through and it came out Edom to meet him with a people massive and with a hand strong.
૨૦પણ અદોમ રાજાએ જવાબ આપ્યો, “તમે પાર જવા નહિ પામશે.” પછી અદોમ રાજા ઘણાં સૈનિકો તથા મજબૂત હાથ સાથે ઇઝરાયલ સામે આવ્યો.
21 And it refused - Edom to permit Israel to pass in territory its and it turned aside Israel from on it.
૨૧અદોમ રાજાએ ઇઝરાયલને પોતાની સરહદમાં થઈને જવા દેવાનો ઇનકાર કર્યો. એ કારણથી, ઇઝરાયલ લોકો અદોમના દેશમાંથી બીજી તરફ વળ્યા.
22 And they set out from Kadesh and they came [the] people of Israel all the congregation Hor the mountain.
૨૨તેથી લોકોએ કાદેશથી મુસાફરી કરી અને ઇઝરાયલ લોકોની આખી જમાત હોર પર્વત આગળ આવી.
23 And he said Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron at Hor the mountain on [the] border of [the] land of Edom saying.
૨૩હોર પર્વતમાં અદોમની સરહદ પાસે યહોવાહ મૂસા તથા હારુન સાથે બોલ્યા. તેમણે કહ્યું,
24 He will be gathered Aaron to people his for not he will go into the land which I have given to [the] people of Israel on that you rebelled against mouth my to [the] waters of Meribah.
૨૪“હારુન તેના પૂર્વજો સાથે ભળી જશે, કેમ કે જે દેશ મેં ઇઝરાયલ લોકોને આપ્યો છે તેમાં તે પ્રવેશ કરશે નહિ. કેમ કે તમે બન્નેએ મરીબાહનાં પાણી પાસે મારા વચન વિરુદ્ધ બળવો કર્યો હતો.
25 Take Aaron and Eleazar son his and bring up them Hor the mountain.
૨૫તું હારુન અને તેના દીકરા એલાઝારને લઈને તેઓને હોર પર્વત પર લાવ.
26 And strip off Aaron garments his and you will clothe with them Eleazar son his and Aaron he will be gathered and he will die there.
૨૬હારુનના યાજકપણાનાં વસ્ત્રો ઉતારી લઈને તેને તેના દીકરા એલાઝારને પહેરાવ. હારુન ત્યાં મરી જશે અને પોતાના પૂર્વજોની સાથે ભળી જશે.”
27 And he did Moses just as he had commanded Yahweh and they went up to Hor the mountain to [the] eyes of all the congregation.
૨૭યહોવાહે જેમ આજ્ઞા આપી હતી તેમ મૂસાએ કર્યું. આખી જમાતના દેખતાં તેઓ હોર પર્વત પર ગયા.
28 And he stripped off Moses Aaron garments his and he clothed with them Eleazar son his and he died Aaron there at [the] top of the mountain and he went down Moses and Eleazar from the mountain.
૨૮મૂસાએ હારુનનાં યાજકપદનાં વસ્ત્રો ઉતારીને તેના દીકરા એલાઝારને પહેરાવ્યાં. ત્યાં પર્વતનાં શિખર પર હારુન મરી ગયો. પછી મૂસા અને એલાઝાર નીચે આવ્યા.
29 And they saw all the congregation that he had died Aaron and they wept for Aaron thirty day[s] all [the] house of Israel.
૨૯જ્યારે આખી જમાતે જોયું કે હારુન મરણ પામ્યો છે, ત્યારે આખી જમાતે હારુન માટે ત્રીસ દિવસ સુધી વિલાપ કર્યો.
