Numbers 17
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
INkosi yasikhuluma kuMozisi isithi:
2 Speak - to [the] people of Israel and take from with them a rod a rod for [the] house of an ancestor from with all leaders their to [the] house of ancestors their two [plus] ten rods each name his you will write on rod his.
Tshono kubantwana bakoIsrayeli, njalo uthathe induku kulowo lalowo wabo, ngokwendlu kayise, kuzo zonke iziphathamandla zabo, ngokwezindlu zaboyise, induku ezilitshumi lambili. Bhala ibizo laleyo laleyondoda endukwini yayo,
3 And [the] name of Aaron you will write on [the] rod of Levi for a rod one [is] for [the] head of [the] house of ancestors their.
ubhale ibizo likaAroni endukwini kaLevi. Ngoba induku eyodwa izakuba ngeyenhloko yendlu yaboyise.
4 And you will deposit them in [the] tent of meeting before the testimony where I meet you there.
Njalo uzazibeka ethenteni lenhlangano phambi kobufakazi, lapho engizahlangana lawe khona.
5 And it will be the man whom I will choose him rod his it will bud and I will put an end to from on me [the] grumblings of [the] people of Israel which they [are] grumbling on you.
Kuzakuthi-ke induku yendoda engizayikhetha izahluma; njalo ngizathulisa kusuke kimi ukusola kwabantwana bakoIsrayeli, abalisola ngakho.
6 And he spoke Moses to [the] people of Israel and they gave to him - all leaders their a rod for a leader one a rod for a leader one to [the] house of ancestors their two [plus] ten rods and [the] rod of Aaron [was] in among rods their.
UMozisi wasekhuluma ebantwaneni bakoIsrayeli; zonke-ke iziphathamandla zabo zamnika izinduku, yabanye kuleso lalesosiphathamandla, njengezindlu zaboyise, induku ezilitshumi lambili; lenduku kaAroni yayiphakathi kwenduku zazo.
7 And he deposited Moses the rods before Yahweh in [the] tent of the testimony.
UMozisi wasezibeka induku phambi kweNkosi ethenteni lobufakazi.
8 And it was from [the] next day and he went Moses into [the] tent of the testimony and there! it had budded [the] rod of Aaron of [the] house of Levi and it had put forth bud[s] and it had blossomed blossom and it had ripened almonds.
Kwasekusithi kusisa uMozisi wangena ethenteni lobufakazi, khangela-ke, induku kaAroni eyendlu kaLevi yayihlumile, yakhupha amahlumela, yakhahlela impoko, yathela ama-alimondi.
9 And he brought out Moses all the rods from to before Yahweh to all [the] people of Israel and they saw and they took each one rod his.
UMozisi wasezikhuphela phandle zonke induku zivela phambi kweNkosi, kubo bonke abantwana bakoIsrayeli; basebekhangela, bathatha ngulowo lalowo induku yakhe.
10 And he said Yahweh to Moses put back [the] rod of Aaron before the testimony for keeping for a sign for [the] sons of rebellion and may you put an end to grumblings their from on me and not they will die.
INkosi yasisithi kuMozisi: Buyisela induku kaAroni phambi kobufakazi, igcinwe, ibe yisibonakaliso kwabahlamukayo, ukuze ususe ukusola kwabo kimi, ukuze bangafi.
11 And he did Moses just as he had commanded Yahweh him so he did.
UMozisi wasesenza; njengalokho iNkosi yamlaya, wenza njalo.
12 And they said [the] people of Israel to Moses saying here! we will die we will perish all of us (we will perish. *LAB(h)*)
Abantwana bakoIsrayeli basebekhuluma kuMozisi besithi: Khangela, siyafa, siyabhubha, sonke siyabhubha!
13 Every [person] approaching - [person] approaching to [the] tabernacle of Yahweh he will die ¿ or will we complete to die.
Wonke osondela lokusondela ethabhanekeleni leNkosi uzakufa. Sizaphela ngokufa yini?
