< Numbers 15 >
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
2 Speak to [the] people of Israel and you will say to them that you will go into [the] land of dwelling places your which I [am] about to give to you.
“Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land of your habitations, which I give to you,
3 And you will make a fire offering to Yahweh a burnt offering or a sacrifice to fulfill a vow or a freewill offering or at appointed feasts your to make an odor of soothing to Yahweh from the herd or from the flock.
and will make an offering by fire to Adonai, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a free will offering, or in your set feasts, to make a pleasant aroma to Adonai, of the herd, or of the flock;
4 And he will bring near the [one who] brings near offering his to Yahweh a grain offering fine flour one tenth [of an ephah] mixed with [the] fourth of hin oil.
then he who offers his offering shall offer to Adonai a meal offering of one tenth of an ephah [an omer; 2.3 q; 2.2 L] of fine flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin [2.6 qt; 1.2 L] of oil.
5 And wine for the drink offering fourth of hin you will offer with the burnt offering or for the sacrifice for the lamb one.
You shall prepare wine for the drink offering, the fourth part of a hin [2.6 qt; 1.2 L], with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.
6 Or for the ram you will offer a grain offering fine flour two tenths [of an ephah] mixed with oil third of hin.
“‘Or for a ram, you shall prepare for a meal offering one tenth of an ephah [two omers; 4.6 q; 4.4 L] of fine flour mixed with the third part of a hin [2.6 qt; 1.24 L] of oil;
7 And wine for the drink offering third of hin you will bring near an odor of soothing to Yahweh.
and for the drink offering you shall offer the third part of a hin [2.6 qt; 1.24 L] of wine, of a pleasant aroma to Adonai.
8 And if you will offer a young one of cattle a burnt offering or a sacrifice to fulfill a vow or peace offerings to Yahweh.
When you prepare a bull for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace offerings to Adonai;
9 And he will bring near with [the] young one of cattle a grain offering fine flour three tenths [of an ephah] mixed with oil half of hin.
then shall he offer with the bull a meal offering of three tenths of an ephah [three omers; 6.9 q; 6.6 L] of fine flour mixed with half a hin [5.2 qt; 2.4 L] of oil:
10 And wine you will bring near for the drink offering half of hin a fire offering of an odor of soothing to Yahweh.
and you shall offer for the drink offering half a hin [5.2 qt; 2.4 L] of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Adonai.
11 Thus it will be done for the bull one or for the ram one or for the small livestock among the lambs or among the kids.
Thus shall it be done for each bull, or for each ram, or for each of the male lambs, or of the young goats.
12 According to the number which you will offer thus you will do for the one according to number their.
According to the number that you shall prepare, so you shall do to everyone according to their number.
13 Every native-born he will do thus these [things] to bring near a fire offering of an odor of soothing to Yahweh.
“‘All who are native-born shall do these things in this way, in offering an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Adonai.
14 And if he will sojourn with you a sojourner or [one] who [is] among midst of you to generations your and he will offer a fire offering of an odor of soothing to Yahweh just as you do so he will do.
If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you, or whoever may be among you throughout all your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Adonai; as you do, so he shall do.
15 The assembly a statute one [will belong] to you and to the sojourner who sojourns a statute of perpetuity to generations your as you as the sojourner it will be before Yahweh.
For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner, a statute forever throughout all your generations. As you are, so shall the foreigner be before Adonai.
16 A law one and judgment one it will belong to you and to the sojourner who sojourns with you.
One Torah ·Teaching· and one judgement shall be for you, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner with you.’”
17 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
18 Speak to [the] people of Israel and you will say to them when come you into the land where I [am] about to bring you there.
“Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], and tell them, ‘When you come into the land where I bring you,
19 And it will be when eat you from [the] food of the land you will offer up a contribution to Yahweh.
then it shall be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a wave offering to Adonai.
20 [the] first of Dough your a cake you will offer up a contribution like a contribution of [the] threshing floor so you will offer up it.
Of the first of your dough you shall offer up a cake for a wave offering. As the wave offering of the threshing floor, so you shall heave it.
21 Some of [the] first of dough your you will give to Yahweh a contribution to generations your.
Of the first of your dough, you shall give to Adonai a wave offering throughout all your generations.
22 And if you will err and not you will observe all the commandments these which he has spoken Yahweh to Moses.
“‘If you go astray, intoxicated, unintentional sin ·error· and you fail to observe all these mitzvot ·instructions·, which Adonai has spoken to Moses [Drawn out],
23 All that he has commanded Yahweh to you by [the] hand of Moses from the day when he commanded Yahweh and onwards to generations your.
even all that Adonai has enjoined you by Moses [Drawn out], from the day that Adonai gave commandment, and onward throughout all your generations;
24 And it will be if away from [the] eyes of the congregation it was done to inadvertence and they will offer all the congregation a young bull a young one of cattle one to a burnt offering to an odor of soothing to Yahweh and grain offering its and drink offering its according to the ordinance and a male goat of goats one to a sin offering.
then it shall be, if it was done as an unintentional mistake sin ·error·, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, for a pleasant aroma to Adonai, with its meal offering, and its drink offering, according to the judgement, and one male goat for a habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering.
25 And he will make atonement the priest on all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel and it will be forgiven to them for [was] inadvertence it and they they have brought offering their a fire offering to Yahweh and sin offering their before Yahweh on inadvertence their.
The priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel [God prevails], and they shall be forgiven; for it was an unintentional mistake sin ·error·, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire to Adonai, and their habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering before Adonai, for their unintentional mistake sin ·error·.
26 And it will be forgiven to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel and to the sojourner who sojourns in midst of them for to all the people by inadvertence.
All the congregation of the children of Israel [God prevails] shall be forgiven, as well as the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them; for with regard to all the people, it was an unintentional mistake sin ·error·.
27 And if a person one it will sin by inadvertence and it will bring near a female goat a daughter of year its to a sin offering.
“‘If one person sins ·errs (the standard goal)· that is an unintentional mistake sin ·error·, then he shall offer a female goat a year old for a habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering.
28 And he will make atonement the priest on the person who has gone astray by sin by inadvertence before Yahweh to make atonement on him and it will be forgiven to him.
The priest shall make atonement for the soul who deviates in mental error, unintentional sin ·error·, for his sin ·err (the standard goal)· is an unintentional mistake sin ·error·, before Adonai, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven.
29 The native-born among [the] people of Israel and to the sojourner who sojourns in midst of them a law one it will belong to you for the [one who] acts by inadvertence.
You shall have one Torah ·Teaching· for him who does any unintentional mistake sin ·error·, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel [God prevails], and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them.
30 And the person who it will act - with a hand raised one of the native-born and one of the sojourner[s] Yahweh he [is] blaspheming and it will be cut off the person that from [the] midst people its.
“‘But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, the same blasphemes Adonai. That soul shall be cut off from among his people.
31 For [the] word of Yahweh he has despised and commandment his he has broken certainly - it will be cut off the person that iniquity its [will be] on it.
Because he has despised Adonai’s word, and has broken his order, that soul shall utterly be cut off. His depravity (moral evil) shall be on him.’”
32 And they were [the] people of Israel in the wilderness and they found a man gathering wood on [the] day of the sabbath.
While the children of Israel [God prevails] were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Shabath ·Intermission· day.
33 And they brought near him the [ones who] found him gathering wood to Moses and to Aaron and to all the congregation.
Those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer], and to all the congregation.
34 And they left him in custody for not it had been decided what? will it be done to him.
They put him in custody, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.
35 And he said Yahweh to Moses certainly he will be put to death the man it will stone him with stones all the congregation from [the] outside of the camp.
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “The man shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him with stones outside of the camp.”
36 And they brought out him all the congregation to from [the] outside of the camp and they stoned him with stones and he died just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
All the congregation brought him outside of the camp, and stoned him to death with stones, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
37 And he said Yahweh to Moses saying.
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
38 Speak to [the] people of Israel and you will say to them and they will make for themselves tassel[s] on [the] corners of clothes their to generations their and they will put on [the] tassel[s] of the corner a cord of violet stuff.
“Speak to the children of Israel [God prevails], and tell them that they should make themselves fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put on the fringe of each border a cord of blue:
39 And it will become for you tassel[s] and you will see it and you will remember all [the] commandments of Yahweh and you will observe them and not you will go about after own heart your and after own eyes your which you [are] acting as prostitutes after them.
and it shall be to you for a fringe, that you may look on it, and remember all Adonai’s mitzvot ·instructions·, and do them; and that you not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to play the prostitute;
40 So that you may remember and you will observe all commandments my and you will be holy to God your.
that you may remember and do all my mitzvot ·instructions·, and be holy to your God.
41 I [am] Yahweh God your who I brought out you from [the] land of Egypt to become for you God I [am] Yahweh God your.
I am Adonai your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to be your God: I am Adonai your God.”
