Numbers 14
1 And it lifted up all the congregation and they gave forth voice their and they wept the people in the night that.
Então levantou-se toda a congregação, e alçaram a sua voz: e o povo chorou naquela mesma noite.
2 And they grumbled on Moses and on Aaron all [the] people of Israel and they said to them all the congregation if we had died in [the] land of Egypt or in the wilderness this if we had died.
E todos os filhos de Israel murmuraram contra Moisés e contra Aarão; e toda a congregação lhe disse: Ah se morrêramos na terra do Egito! ou, ah se morrêramos neste deserto!
3 And why? [is] Yahweh bringing us into the land this to fall by the sword wives our and little one[s] our they will become plunder ¿ not good for us [is] to return Egypt towards.
E porque o Senhor nos traz a esta terra, para cairmos à espada, e para que nossas mulheres e nossas crianças sejam por presa? não nos seria melhor voltarmos ao Egito?
4 And they said each to brother his let us appoint a leader and let us return Egypt towards.
E diziam um ao outro: Levantemo-nos um capitão, e voltemos ao Egito.
5 And he fell Moses and Aaron on faces their before all [the] assembly of [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel.
Então Moisés e Aarão cairam sobre os seus rostos perante todo o ajuntamento dos filhos de Israel.
6 And Joshua [the] son of Nun and Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh one of those [who] spied out the land they tore clothes their.
E Josué, filho de Nun, e Caleb filho de Jefoné, dos que espiaram a terra, rasgaram os seus vestidos.
7 And they said to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel saying the land which we passed in it to spy out it [is] good the land very very.
E falaram a toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel, dizendo: A terra pelo meio da qual passamos a espiar é terra muito boa
8 If he delights in us Yahweh and he will bring us into the land this and he will give it to us a land which it [is] flowing of milk and honey.
Se o Senhor se agradar de nós, então nos porá nesta terra, e no-la dará: terra que mana leite e mel
9 Only against Yahweh may not you rebel and you may not you fear [the] people of the land for [will be] bread our they it has departed shade their from over them and Yahweh [is] with us may not you fear them.
Tão somente não sejais rebeldes contra o Senhor, e não temais o povo desta terra, porquanto são eles nosso pão: retirou-se deles o seu amparo, e o Senhor é conosco; não os temais.
10 And they said all the congregation to stone them with stones and [the] glory of Yahweh it appeared at [the] tent of meeting to all [the] people of Israel.
Então disse toda a congregação que os apedrejassem com pedras: porém a glória do Senhor apareceu na tenda da congregação a todos os filhos de Israel.
11 And he said Yahweh to Moses until when? will they spurn me the people this and until when? not will they believe in me with all the signs which I did in midst its.
E disse o Senhor a Moisés: Até quando me provocará este povo? e até quando me não crerão por todos os sinais que fiz no meio deles?
12 I will strike it with pestilence and I will dispossess it and I may make you a nation great and mighty more than it.
Com pestilência o ferirei, e o rejeitarei: e te farei a ti povo maior e mais forte do que este.
13 And he said Moses to Yahweh and they will hear Egypt that you brought up by strength your the people this from midst its.
E disse Moisés ao Senhor: Assim os egípcios o ouvirão; porquanto com a tua força fizeste subir este povo do meio deles.
14 And they will say to [the] inhabitant[s] of the land this they have heard that you O Yahweh [are] in [the] midst of the people this who eye in eye he was seen - you O Yahweh and cloud your [is] standing over them and in a pillar of cloud you [are] going before them by day and in a pillar of fire night.
E dirão aos moradores desta terra, os que ouviram que tu, ó Senhor, estás no meio deste povo, que de cara a cara, ó Senhor, lhes apareces, que tua nuvem está sobre eles, e que vais adiante deles numa coluna de nuvem de dia, e numa coluna de fogo de noite.
15 And you will put to death the people this like a person one and they will say the nations which they have heard report your saying.
E matarias este povo como a um só homem? as gentes pois, que ouviram a tua fama, falarão, dizendo:
16 Because not was able Yahweh to bring the people this into the land which he swore to them and he has slaughtered them in the wilderness.
Porquanto o Senhor não podia pôr este povo na terra que lhes tinha jurado; por isso os matou no deserto.
17 And therefore may it be great please [the] power of [the] Lord just as you have spoken saying.
Agora, pois, rogo-te que a força do meu Senhor se engrandeça; como tens falado, dizendo:
18 Yahweh [is] long of anger and great of covenant loyalty forgiving iniquity and transgression and certainly not he will leave unpunished visiting [the] iniquity of parents on [the] children on a third generation and on a fourth generation.
O Senhor é longânimo, e grande em beneficência, que perdôa a iniquidade e a transgressão, que o culpado não tem por inocente, e visita a iniquidade dos pais sobre os filhos até à terceira e quarta geração.
19 Forgive please [the] iniquity of the people this according to [the] greatness of covenant loyalty your and just as you have forgiven the people this from Egypt and until now.
Perdôa pois a iniquidade deste povo, segundo a grandeza da tua benignidade: e como também perdoaste a este povo desde a terra do Egito até aqui.
20 And he said Yahweh I have forgiven [them] according to word your.
E disse o Senhor: Conforme à tua palavra lhe perdoei.
21 And but [by] [the] life of me so may be filled [with the] glory of Yahweh all the earth.
Porém tão certamente como eu vivo, que a glória do Senhor encherá toda a terra,
22 For all the men who saw glory my and signs my which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness and they have put to [the] test me this ten times and not they have listened to voice my.
E que todos os homens que viram a minha glória e os meus sinais, que fiz no Egito e no deserto; e me tentaram estas dez vezes, e não obedeceram à minha voz;
23 If they will see the land which I swore to ancestors their and all [those who] have spurned me not they will see it.
Não verão a terra de que a seus pais jurei, e até nenhum daqueles que me provocaram a verá.
24 And servant my Caleb consequence it has been a spirit another with him and he has filled after me and I will bring him into the land where he went there and offspring his it will take possession of it.
Porém o meu servo Caleb, porquanto nele houve outro espírito, e perseverou em seguir-me, eu o levarei à terra em que entrou, e a sua semente a possuirá em herança:
25 And the Amalekite[s] and the Canaanite[s] [was] dwelling in the valley[s] tomorrow turn and set out for yourselves the wilderness [the] way of [the] sea of reed[s].
E os amalequitas e os cananeus habitam no vale: tornai-vos amanhã, e caminhai para o deserto pelo caminho do Mar Vermelho.
26 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron saying.
Depois falou o Senhor a Moisés e a Aarão, dizendo:
27 Until when? to the congregation evil this which they [are] grumbling on me [the] grumblings of [the] people of Israel which they [are] grumbling on me I have heard.
Até quando sofrerei esta má congregação, que murmura contra mim? tenho ouvido as murmurações dos filhos de Israel, com que murmuram contra mim.
28 Say to them [by] [the] life of me [the] utterance of Yahweh if not just as you have spoken in ears my so I will do to you.
Dize-lhes: Assim eu vivo, diz o Senhor, que, como falastes aos meus ouvidos, assim farei a vós outros.
29 In the wilderness this they will fall corpses your and all enrolled [men] your of all number your from a son of twenty year[s] and up-wards who you have grumbled on me.
Neste deserto cairão os vossos cadáveres, como também todos os que de vós foram contados segundo toda a vossa conta, de vinte anos e para cima, os que dentre vós contra mim murmurastes;
30 If you you will go into the land which I lifted up hand my to cause to dwell you in it that except Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh and Joshua [the] son of Nun.
Não entrareis na terra, pela qual levantei a minha mão que vos faria habitar nela, salvo Caleb, filho de Jefoné, e Josué, filho de Nun
31 And little one[s] your who you said plunder he will become and I will bring them and they will know the land which you have rejected it.
Mas os vossos filhos, de que dizeis: Por presa serão, meterei nela; e eles saberão da terra que vós desprezastes.
32 And corpses your you they will fall in the wilderness this.
Porém, quanto a vós, os vossos cadáveres cairão neste deserto.
33 And children your they will be shepherds in the wilderness forty year[s] and they will bear prostitution your until are finished corpses your in the wilderness.
E vossos filhos pastorearão neste deserto quarenta anos, e levarão sobre si as vossas fornicações, até que os vossos cadáveres se consumam neste deserto.
34 By [the] number of the days which you spied out the land forty day[s] a day for the year a day for the year you will bear iniquities your forty year[s] and you will know opposition my.
Segundo o número dos dias em que espiastes esta terra, quarenta dias, por cada dia um ano, levareis sobre vós as vossas iniquidades quarenta anos, e conhecereis o meu apartamento.
35 I Yahweh I have spoken if not - this I will do to all the congregation evil this which has gathered on me in the wilderness this they will meet their end and there they will die.
Eu, o Senhor, falei: se assim não fizer a toda esta má congregação, que se levantou contra mim, neste deserto se consumirão, e ai falecerão.
36 And the men whom he sent Moses to spy out the land and they returned (and they caused to grumble *Q(K)*) on him all the congregation by bringing out a bad report on the land.
E os homens que Moisés mandara a espiar a terra, e que, voltando, fizeram murmurar toda a congregação contra ele, infamando a terra,
37 And they died the men [who] brought out [the] unfavorable report of the land evil by plague before Yahweh.
Aqueles mesmos homens, que infamaram a terra, morreram da praga perante o Senhor.
38 And Joshua [the] son of Nun and Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh they lived of the men those who went to spy out the land.
Mas Josué, filho de Nun, e Caleb, filho de Jefoné, que eram dos homens que foram espiar a terra, ficaram com vida.
39 And he spoke Moses the words these to all [the] people of Israel and they mourned the people exceedingly.
E falou Moisés estas palavras a todos os filhos de Israel: então o povo se contristou muito.
40 And they rose early in the morning and they went up to [the] top of the hill country saying here [are] we and we will go up to the place which he said Yahweh that we have sinned.
E levantaram-se pela manhã de madrugada, e subiram ao cume do monte, dizendo: Eis-nos aqui, e subiremos ao lugar que o Senhor tem dito; porquanto havemos pecado.
41 And he said Moses why? this [are] you transgressing [the] mouth of Yahweh and it not it will succeed.
Mas Moisés disse: Porque quebrantais o mandado do Senhor? pois isso não prosperará.
42 May not you go up for not Yahweh [will be] in midst your and not you will be defeated before enemies your.
Não subais, pois o Senhor não estará no meio de vós, para que não sejais feridos diante dos vossos inimigos.
43 For the Amalekite[s] and the Canaanite[s] [are] there before you and you will fall by the sword for since you have turned back from after Yahweh and not he will be Yahweh with you.
Porque os amalequitas e os cananeus estão ali diante da vossa face, e caireis à espada: pois, porquanto vos desviastes do Senhor, o Senhor não será convosco.
44 And they presumed to go up to [the] top of the hill country and [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and Moses not they departed from [the] midst of the camp.
Contudo, temerariamente, tentaram subir ao cume do monte: mas a arca do concerto do Senhor e Moisés não se apartaram do meio do arraial.
45 And he came down the Amalekite[s] and the Canaanite[s] who dwelt in the hill country that and they struck them and they scattered them to Hormah.
Então desceram os amalequitas e os cananeus, que habitavam na montanha, e os feriram, derrotando-os até Horma.
