Numbers 12
1 And she spoke Miriam and Aaron against Moses on [the] causes of the woman Cushite whom he had taken for a woman Cushite he had taken.
Och Mirjam jämte Aron talade illa om Mose för den etiopiska kvinnans skull som han hade tagit till hustru; han hade nämligen tagit en etiopisk kvinna till hustru.
2 And they said ¿ only only by Moses has he spoken Yahweh ¿ not also by us has he spoken and he heard Yahweh.
Och de sade: »Är då Mose den ende som HERREN talar med? Talar han icke också med oss?» Och HERREN hörde detta.
3 And the man Moses ([was] humble *Q(K)*) very more than every person who [was] on [the] surface of the ground.
Men mannen Mose var mycket saktmodig, mer än någon annan människa på jorden.
4 And he said Yahweh suddenly to Moses and to Aaron and to Miriam come out O [the] three of you to [the] tent of meeting and they went out [the] three of them.
Och strax sade HERREN till Mose, Aron och Mirjam: »Gån ut, I tre, till uppenbarelsetältet.» Och de gingo ditut, alla tre.
5 And he came down Yahweh in a pillar of cloud and he stood [the] entrance of the tent and he summoned Aaron and Miriam and they went out both of them.
Då steg HERREN ned i en molnstod och blev stående vid ingången till tältet; och han kallade på Aron och Mirjam, och de gingo båda ditut.
6 And he said hear please words my if he is prophet of your Yahweh by vision to him I make myself known by a dream I speak with him.
Och han sade: »Hören nu mina ord. Eljest om någon är en profet bland eder, giver jag, HERREN, mig till känna för honom i syner och talar med honom i drömmar.
7 Not thus servant my Moses in all house my [is] faithful he.
Men så gör jag icke med min tjänare Mose; i hela mitt hus är han betrodd.
8 Mouth to mouth I speak with him and a vision and not by riddles and [the] form of Yahweh he sees and why? not were you afraid to speak against servant my against Moses.
Muntligen talar jag med honom, öppet och icke i förtäckta ord, och han får skåda HERRENS gestalt. Varför haven I då icke haft försyn för att tala illa om min tjänare Mose?»
9 And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on them and he went.
Och HERRENS vrede upptändes mot dem, och han övergav dem.
10 And the cloud it departed from over the tent and there! Miriam [was] leprous like snow and he turned Aaron to Miriam and there! leprous.
När så molnskyn drog sig tillbaka från tältet, se, då var Mirjam vit såsom snö av spetälska; när Aron vände sig till Mirjam, fick han se att hon var spetälsk.
11 And he said Aaron to Moses pardon me O lord my do not please may put on us [the] sin which we have acted foolishly and which we have sinned.
Då sade Aron till Mose: »Ack, min herre, lägg icke på oss bördan av en synd som vi i vår dårskap hava begått.
12 May not please she be like dead [person] whom when came forth he from [the] womb of mother his and it was eaten half of flesh his.
Låt henne icke bliva lik ett dödfött foster, vars kropp är till hälften förstörd, när det kommer ut ur sin moders liv.»
13 And he cried out Moses to Yahweh saying O God please heal please her.
Då ropade Mose till HERREN och sade: »O Gud, gör henne åter frisk.»
14 And he said Yahweh to Moses and father her certainly he had spat in face her ¿ not will she be put to shame seven days she will be shut up seven days from [the] outside of the camp and after she will be received.
HERREN svarade Mose: »Om hennes fader hade spottat henne i ansiktet, skulle hon ju hava fått sitta med skam i sju dagar. Må hon alltså nu hållas innestängd i sju dagar utanför lägret; sedan får hon komma tillbaka dit igen.»
15 And she was shut up Miriam from [the] outside of the camp seven days and the people not it set out until was received Miriam.
Så hölls då Mirjam innestängd i sju dagar utanför lägret, och folket bröt icke upp, förrän Mirjam hade kommit tillbaka.
16 And after they set out the people from Hazeroth and they encamped in [the] wilderness of Paran.
