Numbers 10
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
L’Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
2 Make for yourself two trumpets of silver hammered work you will make them and they will be for you for [the] convocation of the congregation and for breaking the camps.
"Fais-toi deux trompettes d’argent, que tu façonneras d’une seule pièce; elles te serviront à convoquer la communauté et à faire décamper les légions.
3 And they will give a blast on them and they will gather together to you all the congregation to [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting.
Quand on en sonnera, toute la communauté devra se réunir auprès de toi à l’entrée de la tente d’assignation.
4 And if on one [trumpet] they will give a blast and they will gather together to you the leaders [the] heads of [the] families of Israel.
Si l’on ne sonne que d’une seule, ce sont les phylarques qui se rendront auprès de toi, les chefs des groupements d’Israël.
5 And you will give a blast an alarm and they will set out the camps which encamp east-ward.
Quand vous sonnerez une fanfare, les légions qui campent à l’orient se mettront en marche.
6 And you will give a blast an alarm second and they will set out the camps which encamp south-ward an alarm they will give a blast for settings out their.
Vous sonnerez une seconde fanfare, et les légions campées au midi se mettront en marche: une fanfare sera sonnée pour les départs,
7 And when summon the assembly you will give a blast and not you will give an alarm.
tandis que, pour convoquer l’assemblée, vous sonnerez, mais sans fanfare.
8 And [the] sons of Aaron the priests they will give a blast on trumpets and they will become for you a statute of perpetuity to generations your.
Ce sont les fils d’Aaron, les pontifes, qui sonneront de ces trompettes. Elles vous serviront, comme institution perpétuelle, dans vos générations.
9 And if you will go war in land your on the foe who opposes you and you will give an alarm on trumpets and you will be remembered before Yahweh God your and you will be delivered from enemies your.
Quand donc vous marcherez en bataille, dans votre pays, contre l’ennemi qui vous attaque, vous sonnerez des trompettes avec fanfare; vous vous recommanderez ainsi au souvenir de l’Éternel votre Dieu, et vous recevrez assistance contre vos ennemis.
10 And on [the] day of rejoicing your and at appointed feasts your and at [the] beginnings of months your and you will give a blast on trumpets over burnt offerings your and over [the] sacrifices of peace offerings your and they will become for you a memorial before God your I [am] Yahweh God your.
Et au jour de votre allégresse, dans vos solennités et vos néoménies, vous sonnerez des trompettes pour accompagner vos holocaustes et vos sacrifices rémunératoires; et elles vous serviront de mémorial devant votre Dieu. Je suis l’Éternel votre Dieu."
11 And it was in the year second in the month second on [day] twenty in the month it was taken up the cloud from over [the] tabernacle of the testimony.
Or il advint, dans la deuxième année, au deuxième mois, le vingtième jour du mois, que la nuée se retira de dessus le tabernacle du statut.
12 And they set out [the] people of Israel to journeyings their from [the] wilderness of Sinai and it settled down the cloud in [the] wilderness of Paran.
Et les enfants d’Israël partirent, selon leur ordre de marche, du désert de Sinaï; et la nuée s’arrêta dans le désert de Pharan.
13 And they set out at the first [time] on [the] mouth of Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses.
C’Est la première fois qu’ils partaient ainsi d’après l’ordre de l’Éternel, transmis par Moïse.
14 And it set out [the] standard of [the] camp of [the] descendants of Judah at the first to military groups their and [was] over military group its Nahshon [the] son of Amminadab.
La bannière du camp des enfants de Juda se mit en marche la première, selon leurs légions. Sa légion à lui était commandée par Nahchôn, fils d’Amminadab;
15 And [was] over [the] military group of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Issachar Nethanel [the] son of Zuar.
la légion de la tribu des enfants d’lssachar, par Nethanel, fils de Çouar;
16 And [was] over [the] military group of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Zebulun Eliab [the] son of Helon.
et la légion de la tribu des enfants de Zabulon, par Elïab, fils de Hêlôn.
17 And it was taken down the tabernacle and they set out [the] descendants of Gershon and [the] descendants of Merari [the] bearers of the tabernacle.
Alors on démonta le tabernacle, et les enfants de Gerson et ceux de Merari, ses porteurs, se mirent en marche.
18 And it set out [the] standard of [the] camp of Reuben to military groups their and [was] over military group its Elizur [the] son of Shedeur.
Puis se mit en marche la bannière du camp de Ruben, selon ses légions: sa légion à lui, conduite par Eliçour, fils de Chedéour;
19 And [was] over [the] military group of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Simeon Shelumiel [the] son of Zuri-shaddai.
la légion de la tribu des enfants de Siméon, par Cheloumïel, fils de Çourichaddaï;
20 And [was] over [the] military group of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Gad Eliasaph [the] son of Deuel.
et la légion de la tribu des enfants de Gad, par Elyaçaf, fils de Deouêl.
21 And they set out the Kohathites [the] bearers of the sanctuary and people set up the tabernacle until came they.
Alors s’avancèrent les Kehathites, porteurs de l’appareil sacré, de sorte qu’on avait redressé le tabernacle lorsqu’ils arrivèrent.
22 And it set out [the] standard of [the] camp of [the] descendants of Ephraim to military groups their and [was] over military group its Elishama [the] son of Ammihud.
Et la bannière du camp des enfants d’Ephraïm se mit en marche, selon leurs légions: sa légion à lui, conduite par Elichama, fils d’Ammihoud;
23 And [was] over [the] military group of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Manasseh Gamaliel [the] son of Pedah-zur.
la légion de la tribu des enfants de Manassé, par Gamliel, fils de Pedahçour;
24 And [was] over [the] military group of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Benjamin Abidan [the] son of Gideoni.
et la légion de la tribu des enfants de Benjamin, par Abidân, fils de Ghidoni.
25 And it set out [the] standard of [the] camp of [the] descendants of Dan a rearguard of all the camps to military groups their and [was] over military group its Ahiezer [the] son of Ammishaddai.
Enfin s’avança la bannière du camp des Danites, arrière-garde de tous les camps, selon leurs légions: sa légion à lui, commandée par Ahïézer, fils d’Ammichaddaï;
26 And [was] over [the] military group of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Asher Pagiel [the] son of Ocran.
la légion de la tribu des enfants d’Asher, par Paghïel, fils d’Okrân;
27 And [was] over [the] military group of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Naphtali Ahira [the] son of Enan.
et la légion de la tribu des enfants de Nephtali, par Ahira, fils d’Enân.
28 These [are] [the] settings out of [the] people of Israel to military groups their and they set out.
Tel était l’ordre de marche des enfants d’Israël, selon leurs légions, quand ils levaient le camp.
29 And he said Moses to Hobab [the] son of Reuel the Midianite [the] father-in-law of Moses [are] about to set out - we to the place which he said Yahweh it I will give to you come! with us and we will do good to you for Yahweh he has spoken good on Israel.
Moïse dit à Hobab, fils de Ragouêl le Madianite, beau-père de Moïse: "Nous partons pour la contrée dont l’Éternel a dit: C’Est celle-là que je vous donne. Viens avec nous, nous te rendrons heureux, puisque l’Éternel a promis du bonheur à Israël."
30 And he said to him not I will go that except to own land my and to kindred my I will go.
Il lui répondit: "Je n’irai point; c’est au contraire dans mon pays, au lieu de ma naissance, que je veux aller."
31 And he said may not please you leave us for - since you know encamping we in the wilderness and you will become of us eyes.
Moïse reprit: "Ne nous quitte point, de grâce! Car, en vérité, tu connais les lieux où nous campons dans ce désert, et tu nous serviras de guide.
32 And it will be that you will go with us and it will be - the good that which he will do good Yahweh with us and we will do good to you.
Or, si tu nous accompagnes, ce même bonheur dont l’Éternel nous fera jouir, nous te le ferons partager."
33 And they set out from [the] mountain of Yahweh a journey of three days and [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh [was] setting out before them a journey of three days to seek out for them a resting place.
Et ils firent, à partir du mont de l’Éternel, trois journées de chemin; l’arche d’alliance de l’Éternel marcha à leur tête l’espace de trois journées, pour leur choisir une halte,
34 And [the] cloud of Yahweh [was] over them by day when set out they from (the camp. *LBH(a)*)
tandis que la nuée divine planait au-dessus d’eux, le jour, à leur départ du camp.
35 And it was when set out the ark and he said Moses rise up! - O Yahweh so they may be scattered enemies your and they may flee [those who] hate you from before you.
Or, lorsque l’arche partait, Moïse disait: "Lève-toi, Éternel! Afin que tes ennemis soient dissipés et que tes adversaires fuient de devant ta face!"
36 And when rested it he said return! O Yahweh [the] ten thousands of [the] families of Israel.
Et lorsqu’elle faisait halte, il disait: "Reviens siéger, Éternel, parmi les myriades des familles d’Israël!"
