Nehemiah 6
1 And it was just when it was heard by Sanballat and Tobiah and by Geshem the Arab and by [the] rest of enemies our that I had rebuilt the wall and not it was left in it a breach also until the time that doors not I had set up in the gates.
ನಾನು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ನಾನು ಗೋಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸಂದನ್ನೂ ಬಿಡದೆ ಪುನಃ ಕಟ್ಟಿದೆನೆಂದು ಸನ್ಬಲ್ಲಟನೂ, ಟೋಬೀಯನೂ, ಅರಬಿಯನಾದ ಗೆಷೆಮನೂ, ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ನಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೂ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ,
2 And he sent Sanballat and Geshem to me saying come! so let us meet together at Kephirim in [the] plain of Ono and they [were] planning to do to me harm.
ಸನ್ಬಲ್ಲಟನೂ, ಗೆಷೆಮನೂ ನನಗೆ, “ಓನೋ ಎಂಬ ಬಯಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳೋಣ ಬಾ,” ಎಂದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡಲು ಯೋಜಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
3 And I sent! to them messengers saying a work great I [am] doing and not I am able to go down why? will it cease the work when I will let drop it and I will go down to you.
ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, “ನಾನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ, ಬರಲಾರೆನು. ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಕೆಲಸವು ನಿಂತುಹೋಗುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
4 And they sent to me according to the manner this four times and I sent back to them according to the manner this.
ಅವರು ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾರಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. ನಾನು ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಉತ್ತರ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದೆನು.
5 And he sent to me Sanballat according to the manner this a time fifth servant his and a letter open [was] in hand his.
ಐದನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ಸನ್ಬಲ್ಲಟನು ತನ್ನ ದೂತನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಚ್ಚದಿದ್ದ ಒಂದು ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
6 [was] written In it among the nations it has been heard and Gashmu [is] saying you and the Jews [are] planning to rebel there-fore you [are] rebuilding the wall and you [are] about to become of them king according to the words these.
ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಬರೆದಿತ್ತು: “ಗೆಷೆಮ್ ಎಂಬವನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀನೂ, ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೂ ತಿರುಗಿಬೀಳಲು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀ.
7 And also prophets you have appointed to proclaim on you in Jerusalem saying a king [is] in Judah and now it will be heard by the king according to the words these and therefore come! so let us take counsel together.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನು ಇದ್ದಾನೆಂದೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಕೂಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದಿ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿಯೂ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಉಂಟು. ಈಗ ಈ ವರ್ತಮಾನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾವು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ ಬಾ.”
8 And I sent! to him saying not it has occurred according to the words these which you [are] saying that from heart your you [are] inventing them.
ಆಗ ನಾನು, “ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ. ನೀವು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದೆನು.
9 For all of them [were] making afraid us saying they will drop hands their from the work and not it will be done and therefore strengthen hands my.
ಹೀಗೆ, “ಅವರ ಕೈಗಳು ಬಲಹೀನವಾಗುವುವು. ಕೆಲಸವು ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಭಯಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ನಾನಾದರೋ, “ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದೆನು.
10 And I I went [the] house of Shemaiah [the] son of Delaiah [the] son of Mehetabel and he [was] shut up and he said let us meet to [the] house of God to [the] middle of the temple and let us close [the] doors of the temple for [people are] coming to kill you and night [people are] coming to kill you.
ತರುವಾಯ ನಾನು ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಮೆಹೇಟಬೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ದೆಲಾಯ, ಇವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶೆಮಾಯನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದೆನು. ಅವನು, “ನಾವಿಬ್ಬರೂ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪವಿತ್ರಸ್ಥಾನದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ಮಂದಿರದ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ ಬಾ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ರಾತ್ರಿಯೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಲು ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
11 And I said! ¿ a man like me will he flee and who? [is] like me who he will go into the temple and he will live not I will go.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು, “ನನ್ನಂಥಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವನೋ? ನನ್ನಂಥವನು ಬದುಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಬಹುದೇ? ನಾನು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದೆನು.
12 And I recognized! and there! not God he had sent him for the prophecy he had spoken on me and Tobiah and Sanballat he had hired him.
ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಟೋಬೀಯನೂ, ಸನ್ಬಲ್ಲಟನೂ ಶೆಮಾಯನಿಗೆ ಲಂಚಕೊಟ್ಟು, ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಈ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆ ಹೇಳಿಸಿದರೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಯಿತು.
13 So that [was] hired he so that I may be afraid and I may act thus and I will sin and it will become for them a name bad so that they may reproach me.
ನಾನು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡುವಂತೆಯೂ ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಯ ಕಾರಣವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವಂತೆಯೂ ಶೆಮಾಯನಿಗೆ ಲಂಚಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು.
14 Remember! O God my to Tobiah and to Sanballat according to works his these and also Noadiah the prophetess and to [the] rest of the prophets who they were making afraid me.
ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ಅವರ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಟೋಬೀಯನನ್ನೂ, ಸನ್ಬಲ್ಲಟನನ್ನೂ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿನಿಯಾದ ನೋವದ್ಯ ಮುಂತಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
15 And it was complete the wall on [day] twenty and five of Elul to fifty and two day[s].
ಹೀಗೆ ಗೋಡೆಯು ಐವತ್ತೆರಡು ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಏಲುಲ್ ತಿಂಗಳದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಗಿಯಿತು.
16 And it was just when they heard all enemies our and they were afraid all the nations which [were] around us and they fell exceedingly in own eyes their and they knew that from with God our it had been done the work this.
ಈ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ನಮ್ಮ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಾದ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿತು. ಅವರು ಭಯಭೀತರಾದರು. ಸೊಕ್ಕು ಮುರಿದವರಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೇ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೇ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿತು ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮನದಟ್ಟಾಯಿತು.
17 Also - in the days those [were] multiplying [the] nobles of Judah letters their [which were] going to Tobiah and [those] which [belonged] to Tobiah [were] coming to them.
ಹೇಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರು ಟೋಬೀಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. ಟೋಬೀಯನಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.
18 For many [people] in Judah [were] lords of oath to him for [was] a son-in-law he of Shecaniah [the] son of Arah and Jehohanan son his he had taken [the] daughter of Meshullam [the] son of Berekiah.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಆರಹನ ಮಗ ಶೆಕನ್ಯನ ಅಳಿಯನಾದುದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಮಗ ಯೆಹೋಹಾನಾನನು ಬೆರೆಕ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮೆಷುಲ್ಲಾಮನ ಮಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರಾಗಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
19 Also good deeds his they were telling before me and words my they were sending out to him letters he sent Tobiah to make afraid me.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಅವನ ಸತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೇಳಿ, ನನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಟೋಬೀಯನೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಭಯಪಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
