1 And [were] on the sealed [documents] Nehemiah the governor [the] son of Hacaliah and Zedekiah.

| ואחיה חנן ענן |
27 Malluch Harim Baanah.
| מלוך חרם בענה |
28 And [the] rest of the people the priests the Levites the gatekeepers the singers the temple servants and every [one who] has separated himself from [the] peoples of the lands to [the] law of God wives their sons their and daughters their every [one who] knows [one who] understands.
| ושאר העם הכהנים הלוים השוערים המשררים הנתינים וכל הנבדל מעמי הארצות אל תורת האלהים נשיהם בניהם ובנתיהם כל יודע מבין |
29 [are] holding On countrymen their noble [ones] their and [are] going in a curse and in an oath to walk in [the] law of God which it was given by [the] hand of Moses [the] servant of God and to take care and to do all [the] commandments of Yahweh lord our and judgments his and statutes his.
| מחזיקים על אחיהם אדיריהם ובאים באלה ובשבועה ללכת בתורת האלהים אשר נתנה ביד משה עבד האלהים ולשמור ולעשות את כל מצות יהוה אדנינו ומשפטיו וחקיו |
30 And that not we will give daughters our to [the] peoples of the land and daughters their not we will take for sons our.
| ואשר לא נתן בנתינו לעמי הארץ ואת בנתיהם לא נקח לבנינו |
31 And [the] peoples of the land who will bring wares and any grain on [the] day of the sabbath to sell not we will take from them on the sabbath and on a day of holiness so we may leave the year seventh and usury of every hand.
| ועמי הארץ המביאים את המקחות וכל שבר ביום השבת למכור--לא נקח מהם בשבת וביום קדש ונטש את השנה השביעית ומשא כל יד |
32 And we establish on ourselves commandments to put on ourselves [the] third of the shekel in the year for [the] service of [the] house of God our.
| והעמדנו עלינו מצות לתת עלינו שלישית השקל בשנה לעבדת בית אלהינו |
33 For [the] bread of the row and [the] grain offering of regularity and for [the] burnt offering of regularity the sabbaths the new moons for the appointed feasts and for the holy offerings and for the sin offerings to make atonement on Israel and all [the] work of [the] house of God our.
| ללחם המערכת ומנחת התמיד ולעולת התמיד השבתות החדשים למועדים ולקדשים ולחטאות--לכפר על ישראל וכל מלאכת בית אלהינו |
34 And the lots we have cast on [the] offering of the wood the priests the Levites and the people to bring [it] to [the] house of God our to [the] house of ancestors our to times appointed a year in a year to burn [it] on [the] altar Yahweh God our according to [what] is written in the law.
| והגורלות הפלנו על קרבן העצים הכהנים הלוים והעם--להביא לבית אלהינו לבית אבתינו לעתים מזמנים שנה בשנה לבער על מזבח יהוה אלהינו ככתוב בתורה |
35 And to bring [the] first-fruits of ground our and [the] first-fruits of all [the] fruit of every tree a year in a year to [the] house of Yahweh.
| ולהביא את בכורי אדמתנו ובכורי כל פרי כל עץ--שנה בשנה לבית יהוה |
36 And [the] firstborn of sons our and cattle our according to [what] is written in the law and [the] firstborn of herds our and flocks our to bring to [the] house of God our to the priests who serve in [the] house of God our.
| ואת בכרות בנינו ובהמתנו ככתוב בתורה ואת בכורי בקרינו וצאנינו להביא לבית אלהינו לכהנים המשרתים בבית אלהינו |
37 And [the] choicest of dough our and contributions our and [the] fruit of every tree new wine and fresh oil we will bring to the priests to [the] store-rooms of [the] house of God our and [the] tithe of ground our to the Levites and they the Levites [are] the [ones who] collect tithes in all [the] cities of labor our.
| ואת ראשית עריסתינו ותרומתינו ופרי כל עץ תירוש ויצהר נביא לכהנים אל לשכות בית אלהינו ומעשר אדמתנו ללוים והם הלוים המעשרים בכל ערי עבדתנו |
38 And he will be the priest [the] descendant of Aaron with the Levites when collect [the] tithes the Levites and the Levites they will bring up [the] tenth of the tithe to [the] house of God our into the store-rooms of [the] house of the treasury.
| והיה הכהן בן אהרן עם הלוים בעשר הלוים והלוים יעלו את מעשר המעשר לבית אלהינו אל הלשכות לבית האוצר |
39 For to the store-rooms they will bring [the] people of Israel and [the] descendants of the Levites [the] contribution of grain the new wine and the fresh oil and [will be] there [the] utensils of the sanctuary and the priests who serve and the gatekeepers and the singers and not we will neglect [the] house of God our.
| כי אל הלשכות יביאו בני ישראל ובני הלוי את תרומת הדגן התירוש והיצהר ושם כלי המקדש והכהנים המשרתים והשוערים והמשררים ולא נעזב את בית אלהינו |
