Nahum 1
1 [the] oracle of Nineveh [the] document of [the] vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.
Carga de Ninive. Livro da visão de Nahum, o elcoshita.

O Senhor é Deus zeloso e que toma vingança, o Senhor toma vingança e tem furor: o Senhor toma vingança contra os seus adversarios, e guarda a ira contra os seus inimigos.
3 Yahweh [is] long of anger (and great of *Q(K)*) power and certainly not he will leave unpunished Yahweh [is] in storm-wind and in storm way his and [is] cloud [the] dust of feet his.
O Senhor é tardio em irar-se, porém grande em força, e ao culpado não tem por innocente: o Senhor, cujo caminho é na tormenta, e na tempestade, e as nuvens são o pó dos seus pés.
4 [he is] rebuking the Sea and he made dry it and all the rivers he dries up it withers Bashan and Carmel and [the] blossom of Lebanon it withers.
Elle reprehende ao mar, e o faz seccar, e esgota todos os rios: desfallecem Basan e Carmelo, e a flor do Libano se murchou.
5 Mountains they quake from him and the hills they melt and it lifted up the earth from before him and [the] world and all [those who] dwell in it.
Os montes tremem perante elle, e os outeiros se derretem; e a terra se levanta na sua presença; e o mundo, e todos os que n'elle habitam.
6 Before indignation his who? will he stand and who? will he endure at [the] burning of anger his rage his it is poured out like fire and the rocks they are pulled down from him.
Quem parará diante do seu furor? e quem persistirá diante do ardor da sua ira? a sua colera se derramou como um fogo, e as rochas foram por elle derribadas.
7 [is] good Yahweh a refuge in a day of trouble and [he is] knowing [those who] take refuge in him.
O Senhor é bom, elle serve de fortaleza no dia da angustia, e conhece aos que confiam n'elle.
8 And with a flood [which] passes over complete destruction he will make place its and enemies his he will pursue darkness.
E com uma inundação trasbordante acabará d'uma vez com o seu logar; e as trevas perseguirão os seus inimigos.
9 Whatever you will plot! against Yahweh complete destruction he [will be] making not it will arise two times trouble.
Que pensaes vós contra o Senhor? elle mesmo vos consumirá de todo: não se levantará por duas vezes a angustia.
10 For to thorns interwoven and like drink their drunkards they will be consumed like stubble dry full.
Porque elles se entrelaçam como os espinhos, e se embebedam como bebados; serão inteiramente consumidos como palha secca.
11 From you he has come out [one who] plots on Yahweh evil a counselor of worthlessness.
De ti saiu um que pensou mal contra o Senhor, um conselheiro de Belial.

Assim diz o Senhor: Por mais seguros que estejam, e por mais numerosos que sejam, ainda assim serão tosquiados, e elle passará: eu te affligi, porém não te affligirei mais.
13 And now I will break yoke-bar his from on you and fetters your I will tear apart.
Mas agora quebrarei o seu jugo de sobre ti, e romperei os teus laços.
14 And he has commanded on you Yahweh not it will be sown from name your again from [the] house of gods your I will cut off idol and molten image I will make grave your for you are insignificant.
Porém contra ti o Senhor deu ordem, que mais ninguem do teu nome seja semeado: da casa do teu deus exterminarei as imagens de esculptura e de fundição: ali te farei o teu sepulchro, porque és vil
15 There! on the mountains [the] feet of [one who] bears news [one who] proclaims peace celebrate a festival O Judah festivals your pay vows your for not he will repeat again (to pass *Q(k)*) in you a worthless person all of him it will be cut off.
Eis que sobre os montes os pés do que traz as boas novas, do que annuncia a paz! celebra as tuas festas, ó Judah, cumpre os teus votos, porque o impio não tornará mais a passar por ti: elle é inteiramente exterminado.
