Micah 7
1 Woe! to me for I have become like gathering of summer fruit like gleanings of [the] grape harvest there not [is] a cluster of grapes to eat early fig[s] it craves appetite my.
Quelle douleur pour moi! Je suis là comme après la récolte des fruits, comme au grappillage qui suit la vendange: pas une grappe à manger, pas une figue tendre pouvant plaire à mon goût!
2 He has perished [the] faithful from the land and [is] an upright [person] among humankind there not all of them for blood they lie in wait each brother his they hunt a net.
Tout homme de bien a disparu de ce pays, il n’est plus de gens intègres. Tous, ils s’embusquent pour verser le sang, ils se prennent l’un l’autre au piège.
3 [are] on Evil both hands to do [it] well the official [is] asking and the judge (for bribe *L(abh)*) and the great [person] [is] speaking [the] craving of self his he and they weave it.
Pour favoriser celui qui met la main aux mauvaises besognes, le chef demande, le juge se fait payer, le grand dit hautement ce que convoite son âme, et ainsi on ourdit les intrigues.
4 Good person their [is] like a thorn-bush an upright [person] more than a thorn hedge [the] day of watchmen your punishment your it has come now it will be confusion their.
Le meilleur d’entre eux est comme un amas d’orties, le plus honnête est pire qu’une haie d’épines. Au jour annoncé par tes voyants, ton châtiment surviendra, alors leur désarroi sera au complet.
5 May not you believe in a neighbor may not you trust in a close friend from [she who] lies of bosom your guard [the] openings of mouth your.
N’Accordez aucune créance à un ami, aucune confiance à un compagnon! Garde ta bouche close devant la femme qui repose sur ton sein.
6 For a son [is] treating with contempt a father a daughter [is] arising on mother her a daughter-in-law on mother-in-law her [are the] enemies of a person [the] people of own household his.
Car le fils vilipende son père, la fille s’insurge contre sa mère, la bru contre sa belle-mère; chacun a pour ennemis les gens de sa maison.
7 And I for Yahweh I will watch I will wait for [the] God of salvation my he will hear me God my.
Mais moi, je mets mon attente dans le Seigneur, mon espoir dans le Dieu qui assure mon salut, mon Dieu m’entendra.
8 May not you rejoice O enemy my to me for I have fallen I will arise for I sit in darkness Yahweh [will be] light of me.
N’Exulte pas à mon sujet, ô mon ennemie, car si je suis tombée, je me relève; si je suis confinée dans les ténèbres, l’Eternel est une lumière pour moi.
9 [the] indignation of Yahweh I will bear for I have sinned to him until that he will conduct case my and he will do justice my he will bring out me to the light I will look on righteousness his.
Je supporterai le courroux de l’Eternel car j’ai péché contre lui jusqu’à ce qu’il prenne ma cause en mains et assure mon bon droit; alors il me ramènera à la lumière, je verrai son œuvre de justice.
10 And she will see enemy my and it will cover her shame [she] who says to me where [is]? he Yahweh God your eyes my they will look on her now she will become a trampling place like [the] mud of [the] streets.
Mon ennemie en sera témoin et sera couverte de honte, elle qui me dit: "Où est l’Eternel, ton Dieu?" Mes yeux se repaîtront de sa vue; déjà je la vois foulée aux pieds comme la boue des rues.
11 A day to build walls your a day that it will be far a boundary.
Il viendra un jour où l’on rebâtira tes murs; ce jour-là, tes limites seront reculées.
12 A day that and to you someone will come from Assyria and [the] cities of Egypt and from Egypt and to [the] River and sea from sea and mountain the mountain.
En ce jour, on viendra à toi, depuis l’Assyrie jusqu’aux villes de l’Egypte, et depuis l’Egypte jusqu’au fleuve, d’une mer à l’autre mer et d’une montagne à l’autre.
13 And it will become the earth a desolation on inhabitants its from [the] fruit of deeds their.
Mais la terre offrira un spectacle de désolation à ses habitants: ce sera le fruit de leurs œuvres.
14 Shepherd people your with rod your [the] flock of inheritance your [who] dwell alone a forest in [the] midst of a garden-land let them graze Bashan and Gilead like [the] days of antiquity.
Conduis, avec ta houlette, le troupeau qui est ton héritage: qu’il occupe, solitaire, une forêt dans une région fertile; qu’il pâture en Basan et en Galaad, comme aux jours antiques!
15 Like [the] days coming out you from [the] land of Egypt I will show him wonders.
Oui, comme à l’époque de ta sortie d’Egypte, je te ferai voir des prodiges.
16 They will see nations so they may be ashamed from all strength their they will put a hand on a mouth ears their they will be deaf.
Les nations en seront témoins et elles auront honte en dépit de toute leur puissance; elles poseront la main sur leur bouche, leurs oreilles seront frappées de surdité.
17 They will lick up dust like snake like [things which] crawl of [the] earth they will quake from strongholds their to Yahweh God our they will be in dread and they may be afraid from you.
Elles lècheront la poussière comme le serpent, comme les reptiles du sol; elles trembleront au fond de leurs donjons. Craintives, elles accourront vers l’Eternel notre Dieu, et de toi elles auront peur!
18 Who? [is] a God like you [who] forgives iniquity and [who] passes over transgression to [the] remnant of inheritance his not he keeps hold of for ever anger his for [is one] desirous of covenant loyalty he.
Quel dieu t’égale Seigneur, toi qui pardonnes les iniquités, qui fais grâce aux offenses, commises par les débris de ton héritage? Toi qui ne gardes pas à jamais ta colère, parce que tu te complais dans la bienveillance?
19 He will return he will have compassion on us he will subdue iniquities our so you may cast in [the] depths of [the] sea all sins their.
Oui, tu nous reprendras en pitié, tu étoufferas nos iniquités, tu plongeras tous nos péchés dans les profondeurs de la mer.
20 You will give faithfulness to Jacob covenant loyalty to Abraham which you swore to fathers our from days of antiquity.
Tu témoigneras à Jacob la fidélité, à Abraham la bienveillance, que tu as jurées à nos pères dès les premiers âges.
