Micah 2
1 Woe to! [those who] plan wickedness and [those who] do evil on beds their at [the] light the morning they do it for there [belongs] to [the] power of hand their.
Teško onima koji smišljaju nedjelo i snuju zlo na posteljama svojim! Kad svane dan, oni ga izvrše, jer je sila u njihovoj ruci.
2 And they desire fields and they seize [them] and houses and they take [them] and they oppress a man and household his and a man and inheritance his.
Zažele li polja, otimaju ih, i kuće, uzimaju ih; čine nasilje čovjeku i kući njegovoj, vlasniku i posjedu njegovu.
3 Therefore thus he says Yahweh here I [am] planning on the clan this calamity which not you will remove from there necks your and not you will walk haughtily for [will be] a time evil it.
Zato ovako govori Jahve: “Evo tome rodu smišljam zlo iz kojega nećete izvući vratova, niti ćete hoditi ponosito, jer će biti zlo vrijeme.
4 On the day that someone will lift up on you a saying and he will wail a wailing it is finished he will say utterly we are devastated [the] portion of people my he exchanges how! he removes [it] for me to an apostate fields our he apportions.
U onaj će vam se dan složiti rugalica, zapjevati tužaljka i reći: 'Propalo je! Posve smo opustošeni, baština je naroda moga otuđena i nitko da mu je vrati, naša polja podijeljena su odmetniku.'
5 Therefore not he will belong to you [one who] casts a measuring-line by lot in [the] assembly of Yahweh.
Zato neće biti nikoga tko bi bacio kocku za dio tvoj u zboru Jahvinu.”
6 May not you prophesy they prophesy! not they will prophesy of these [things] not it will be turned back ignomini[es].
“Ne balite!” - bale oni - “Tako se ne bali! Sramota na nas neće pasti!

Zar će biti proklet dom Jakovljev? Zar je Jahve izgubio strpljivost? Zar on tako postupa? Nisu li riječi njegove ugodne Izraelu, narodu njegovu?”

Vi se sami dižete kao neprijatelji narodu mojemu. Čovjeku nezazornu vi otimate kabanicu, onome koji bez straha putuje ratne strahote dosuđujete.
9 [the] women of People my you drive out! from [the] house of delights her from with children her you take away glory my for ever.
Vi izgonite žene moga naroda iz njihovih milih domova; djeci njihovoj zauvijek oduzimate slavu koju sam im dao:
10 Arise and go for not this [is] resting place because it has become unclean it will destroy and [the] destruction [will be] grievous.
“Ustanite, idite! Ovo nije počivalište! Zbog nečistoće teško vas uže svezalo.”
11 If anyone walking of wind and falsehood he told a lie I will prophesy for you of wine and of strong drink and he will be [the] prophesier of the people this.
Kad bi mogao biti nadahnut čovjek koji izmišlja ovu opsjenu: “Prorokujem ti vino i piće”, on bi bio prorok narodu ovome.
12 Surely I will gather O Jacob all of you surely I will assemble [the] remnant of Israel together I will make it like sheep a sheepfold like a flock in [the] midst of pasture its they will be distraught from humankind.
Svega ću te sabrati, Jakove, sakupit ću Ostatak Izraelov! Smjestit ću ih zajedno kao ovce u toru, kao stado na paši - neće se bojati nikoga.
13 He will go up the [one who] breaks through before them they will break through and they have passed through [the] gate and they have gone out by it and he has passed on king their before them and Yahweh [will be] at head their.
Pred njima stupa rušilac: oni će se porušiti i ući, kroz vrata će proći i izaći; pred njima će ići njihov kralj, Jahve će biti na čelu.
