Matthew 1
1 [The] book of [the] genealogy of Jesus Christ son of David son of Abraham.
ᎯᎠ ᎪᏪᎵ ᎧᏃᎮᎭ ᏧᏁᏢᏔᏅᏒ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ, ᏕᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ, ᎡᏆᎭᎻ ᎤᏪᏥ.
2 Abraham begat Isaac; Isaac then begat Jacob; Jacob then begat Judah and the brothers of him;
ᎡᏆᎭᎻ ᎡᏏᎩ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎡᏏᎩᏃ ᏤᎦᏈ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ, ᏤᎦᏈᏃ ᏧᏓ ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᎾᏓᏅᏟ ᎬᏩᏕᏁᎴᎢ;
3 Judah then begat Perez and Zerah out of Tamar; Perez then begat Hezron; Hezron then begat Ram;
ᏧᏓᏃ ᏇᎵᏏ ᎠᎴ ᏎᎳ ᎬᏩᏕᏁᎴᎢ ᏖᎹ ᏚᎾᏄᎪᏫᏎᎢ; ᏇᎵᏏᏃ ᎢᏏᎳᎻ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎢᏏᎳᎻᏃ ᎡᎵᎻ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ;
4 Ram then begat Amminadab; Amminadab then begat Nahshon; Nahshon then begat Salmon;
ᎡᎵᎻᏃ ᎡᎻᏂᏓᏈ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎡᎻᏂᏓᏈᏃ ᎾᏐᏂ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎾᏐᏂᏃ ᏌᎵᎹ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ;
5 Salmon then begat Boaz out of Rahab; Boaz then begat Obed out of Ruth; Obed then begat Jesse;
ᏌᎵᎹᏃ ᏉᏏ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ ᎴᎭᏫ ᎤᎾᎸᎪᏫᏎᎢ; ᏉᏏᏃ ᎣᏇᏗ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ ᎷᏏ ᎤᎾᏄᎪᏫᏎᎢ; ᎣᏇᏗᏃ ᏤᏏ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ;
6 Jesse then begat David the king; David then (the king *k*) begat Solomon out of the [wife] of Uriah;
ᏤᏏᏃ ᏕᏫ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᏕᏫᏃ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏐᎵᎹᏅ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ ᏳᎳᏯ ᎤᏓᏴᏛ ᎤᎾᏄᎪᏫᏎᎢ;
7 Solomon then begat Rehoboam; Rehoboam then begat Abijah; Abijah then begat Asaph;
ᏐᎵᎹᏅᏃ ᎶᏉᎹ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎶᏉᎹᏃ ᎡᏆᏯ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎡᏆᏯᏃ ᎡᏏ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ;
8 Asaph then begat Jehoshaphat; Jehoshaphat then begat Joram; Joram then begat Uzziah;
ᎡᏏᏃ ᏦᏏᏆ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ. ᏦᏏᏆᏃ ᏦᎳᎻ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᏦᎳᎻᏃ ᎣᏌᏯ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ;
9 Uzziah then begat Jotham; Jotham then begat Ahaz; Ahaz then begat Hezekiah;
ᎣᏌᏯᏃ ᏦᏓᎻ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᏦᏓᎻᏃ ᎡᎭᏏ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎡᎭᏏᏃ ᎮᏏᎦᏯ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ;
10 Hezekiah then begat Manasseh; Manasseh then begat (Amos; Amos *N(k)O*) then begat Josiah;
ᎮᏏᎦᏯᏃ ᎹᎾᏏ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎹᎾᏏᏃ ᎠᎼᏂ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎠᎼᏂᏃ ᏦᏌᏯ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ;
11 Josiah then begat Jeconiah and the brothers of him at [the time] of the carrying away to Babylon.
ᏦᏌᏯᏃ ᏤᎪᎾᏯ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᏓᏅᏟ ᎬᏩᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎾᎯᏳ ᏓᏗᎶᏂ ᏥᏫᏗᎨᎦᏘᏅᏍᏔᏁᎢ;
12 After then the carrying away to Babylon Jeconiah begat Shealtiel; Shealtiel then begat Zerubbabel;
ᏓᏗᎶᏂᏃ ᏫᏗᎨᎦᏘᏃᎸ ᏤᎪᎾᏯ ᏌᎳᏓᏱᎵ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᏌᎳᏓᏱᎵᏃ ᏥᎳᏇᎵ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ;
13 Zerubbabel then begat Abiud; Abiud then begat Eliakim; Eliakim then begat Azor;
ᏥᎳᏇᎵᏃ ᎠᏆᏯᏗ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ, ᎠᏆᏯᏗᏃ ᎢᎳᏯᎩᎻ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎢᎳᏯᎩᎻᏃ ᎡᏐ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ;
14 Azor then begat Zadok; Zadok then begat Achim; Achim then begat Eliud;
ᎡᏐᏃ ᏎᏙᎩ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᏎᏙᎩᏃ ᎡᎩᎻ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎡᎩᎻᏃ ᎢᎳᏯᏗ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ;
15 Eliud then begat Eleazar; Eleazar then begat Matthan; Matthan then begat Jacob;
ᎢᎳᏯᏗᏃ ᎢᎵᎡᏌ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎢᎵᎡᏌᏃ ᎹᏓᏂ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ; ᎹᏓᏂᏃ ᏤᎦᏈ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ;
16 Jacob then begat Joseph the husband of Mary out of whom was born Jesus who is being named Christ.
ᏤᎦᏈᏃ ᏦᏩ ᎤᏕᏁᎴᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎺᎵ ᎤᏰᎯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᎾᏄᎪᏫᏎ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᏣᏃᎭᎰᎢ.
17 All therefore the generations from Abraham to David [were] generations fourteen and from David until the carrying away to Babylon generations fourteen and from the carrying away to Babylon until the Christ generations fourteen.
ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏄᎾᏓᏁᏟᏴᏒ ᎡᏆᎭᎻ ᏤᎮ ᎾᎯᏳ ᏅᏓᎬᏩᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏕᏫᏃ ᏤᎮ ᏅᏛᏍᏘ ᏂᎦᏚ ᏄᎾᏓᏁᏟᏴᏎᎢ; ᏕᏫᏃ ᏤᎮ ᎾᎯᏳ ᏅᎵᎬᏩᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏓᏗᎶᏂᏃ ᏥᏫᏗᎨᎦᏘᏅᏍᏔᏁ ᎾᎯᏳ ᏅᏛᏍᏘ ᏂᎦᏚ ᏄᎾᏓᏁᏟᏴᏎᎢ; ᏓᏗᎶᏂᏃ ᎾᎯᏳ ᏥᏫᏗᎨᎦᏘᏅᏍᏔᏁ ᎤᏓᏳᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏥᏌᏃ ᏧᏕᏁ ᎾᎯᏳ ᏅᏛᏍᏘ ᏂᎦᏚ ᏄᎾᏓᏁᏟᏴᏎᎢ.
18 Now of Jesus Christ the (origin *N(k)O*) thus was happening: At the pledging (for *k*) of the mother of Him Mary to Joseph, before than to come together by them she was found in womb [pregnancy] having out of [the] Spirit Holy.
ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏂᏙᎴ ᎤᏕᏅ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ. ᎾᏍᎩ ᎺᎵ ᏥᏌ ᎤᏥ ᏦᏩ ᎤᏓᏴᏍᏗ, ᎠᏏᏉ ᏂᏓᎾᏤᎬᎾ ᎨᏎᎢ, ᎤᏁᎵᏤ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎤᏓᏅᏖᎸᎯ.
19 Joseph now the husband of her, righteous being and not willing her (to disgrace, *N(k)O*) he purposed secretly to send away her.
ᏦᏩ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᏧᎾᏨᏍᏗ ᎤᏓᏅᏘᏳ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏄᏚᎵᏍᎬᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᎤᏕᎰᎯᏍᏙᏗᏱ, ᎤᏕᎵᏛᏉ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏮᏓᏥᏯᎧᏂ, ᎤᏪᎵᏎᎢ.
20 These things now when he was pondering behold an angel of [the] Lord in a dream appeared to him saying; Joseph son of David, not may you fear to receive Mary [as] the wife of you; that for in her having been conceived from [the] Spirit [which] is Holy.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎠᏏᏉ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏍᏕᎠᏓᏅᏖᏍᎨᎢ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᏱᎰᏩ ᎤᏅᏏᏛ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏄᏛᏁᎴ ᎠᏍᎩᏓᏍᎬᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᎦᏪᏍᎨᎢ; ᏦᏩ, ᏕᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ, ᏞᏍᏗ ᏣᏍᎦᎸ ᎯᏯᏅᏗᏱ ᎺᎵ ᏣᏓᏴᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ Ꮎ ᏥᎦᏁᎵ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎤᏓᏅᏖᎸᎯ;
21 She will bear then a son, and you will call the name of Him Jesus; He himself for will save the people of Him from the sins of them.
ᎠᎴ ᏓᎦᎾᏄᎪᏫᏏ ᎠᏧᏣ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏥᏌ ᏕᎯᏲᎥᎭ, ᏧᏤᎵᏰᏃ ᏴᏫ ᏙᏛᏍᏕᎸᎯ ᏙᏓᎫᏓᎴᏏ ᎤᏂᏍᎦᏅᏨᎢ.
22 This then all has come to pass that may be fulfilled that [which] having been spoken by (the *k*) Lord through the prophet saying;
ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎦᏗᏳ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏂᏙᎴ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᏗᏱ ᎠᏰᎸᏒᎢ ᎯᎠ ᏥᏄᏪᏎ ᏱᎰᏩ ᎠᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ ᎠᎬᏗᏍᎬᎢ;
23 Behold the virgin in womb [pregnancy] will have and she will bear a son, and they will call the name of Him Immanuel, which is being translated; With us God.
ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎠᏛ ᎾᏥᏰᎲᎾ ᎦᏁᎵᏛ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏓᎦᎾᏄᎪᏫᏏ ᎠᏧᏣ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎢᎹᏄᎡᎵ ᎠᏃᏎᎮᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏁᏢᏔᏅᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏍᏗ ᎦᏛᎦ, ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎢᎨᎳᏗᏙᎭ.
24 (Having been awoken *N(k)O*) then Joseph from the sleep he did as he commanded him the angel of [the] Lord; and received the wife of him
ᏦᏩᏃ ᎤᏰᏨ ᎤᎸᏅᎢ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᏱᎰᏩ ᏅᏓᏳᏅᏏᏛ ᏄᏪᏎᎸ ᏄᏛᏁᎴᎢ, ᎤᏯᏅᎨᏉ ᎤᏓᏴᏍᏗ.
25 and not he was knowing her until that she had brought forth (the *k*) a son (of her firstborn, *K*) and (s)he called the name of Him Jesus.
ᎠᎴ ᎥᏝ ᏳᎦᏙᎥᏎᎢ ᎬᏂ ᎤᎾᏄᎪᏫᏒ ᎢᎬᏱ ᎡᎯ ᎤᏪᏥ ᎠᏧᏣ, ᏥᏌᏃ ᏑᏬᎡᎢ.
