Matthew 4
1 Then Jesus was led up into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil.
Wtedy Jezus został zaprowadzony przez Ducha na pustynię, aby był kuszony przez diabła.
2 And having fasted days forty and nights forty afterward He was hungry.
A po czterdziestu dniach i czterdziestu nocach postu poczuł głód.
3 And having come the [one] tempting he said to Him; If Son You are of God, (do speak *NK(O)*) that stones these loaves of bread may become.
Wówczas przystąpił do niego kusiciel i powiedział: Jeśli jesteś Synem Bożym, powiedz, aby te kamienie stały się chlebem.
4 But answering He said; It has been written: Not by bread alone will live (the *no*) man, but (by *NK(o)*) every declaration coming out through [the] mouth of God.’
A on odpowiedział: Jest napisane: Nie samym chlebem będzie żył człowiek, ale każdym słowem pochodzącym z ust Boga.
5 Then takes Him the devil to the holy city and (set *N(k)O*) Him upon the pinnacle of the temple
Wtedy diabeł wziął go do miasta świętego i postawił na szczycie świątyni.
6 and says to him; If Son You are of God, do throw Yourself down; it has been written for that To the angels of Him He will give orders concerning You, and in [their] hands will they bear up You otherwise otherwise You may strike against a stone the foot of You.’
I powiedział mu: Jeśli jesteś Synem Bożym, rzuć się w dół, jest bowiem napisane: Rozkaże o tobie swoim aniołom i będą cię nosić na rękach, abyś nie uderzył swojej nogi o kamień.
7 was saying to him Jesus; Again it has been written: Not you will test [the] Lord the God of you.’
Jezus mu odpowiedział: Jest też napisane: Nie będziesz wystawiał na próbę Pana, swego Boga.
8 Again takes Him the devil to a mountain high exceedingly and shows to Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them
Znowu wziął go diabeł na bardzo wysoką górę i pokazał mu wszystkie królestwa świata oraz ich wspaniałość.
9 and (he says *N(k)O*) to Him; These things to You all will I give, if falling down You shall worship me.
I powiedział do niego: Dam ci to wszystko, jeśli upadniesz i oddasz mi pokłon.
10 Then says to him Jesus; do go away (behind me *O*) Satan; it has been written for: [The] Lord the God of you you will worship and Him alone will you serve.’
Wtedy Jezus powiedział mu: Idź precz, szatanie! Jest bowiem napisane: Panu, swemu Bogu, będziesz oddawał pokłon i tylko jemu będziesz służył.
11 Then leaves Him the devil, and behold angels came and they were ministering to Him.
Wówczas diabeł go opuścił, a oto aniołowie przystąpili [do niego] i mu służyli.
12 Having heard now (Jesus *k*) that John was delivered up He withdrew into Galilee.
A gdy Jezus usłyszał, że Jan został wtrącony [do więzienia], wrócił do Galilei.
13 And having left Nazareth, having come he dwelt at Capernaum which [is] on the sea-side in [the] region of Zebulun and of Naphtali,
A opuściwszy Nazaret, przyszedł i zamieszkał w Kafarnaum, które leży nad morzem, w granicach Zabulona i Neftalego;
14 that it may be fulfilled that having been spoken through Isaiah the prophet saying:
Aby się wypełniło, co zostało powiedziane przez proroka Izajasza:
15 Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, way of [the] sea beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles —
Ziemia Zabulona i ziemia Neftalego, [wzdłuż] drogi nadmorskiej, za Jordanem, Galilea pogan.
16 The nation the [one] sitting in (darkness *NK(o)*) light have seen great, and to those sitting in [the] land and in a shadow of death a light has dawned on them.
Lud, który siedział w ciemności, ujrzał światłość wielką, a siedzącym w krainie i cieniu śmierci wzeszła światłość.
17 From that time began Jesus to proclaim and to say; do repent; has drawn near for the kingdom of the heavens.
Od tego czasu Jezus zaczął głosić i mówić: Pokutujcie, przybliżyło się bowiem królestwo niebieskie.
18 Walking now (Jesus *k*) beside the Sea of Galilee He saw two brothers, Simon the [one] being named Peter and Andrew the brother of him casting a net into the sea; they were for fishermen.
A gdy Jezus przechodził nad Morzem Galilejskim, zobaczył dwóch braci: Szymona, zwanego Piotrem, i Andrzeja, jego brata, którzy zapuszczali sieć w morze; byli bowiem rybakami.
19 And He says to them; Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men.
I powiedział im: Chodźcie za mną, a uczynię was rybakami ludzi.
20 And immediately having left the nets they followed Him.
Oni natychmiast porzucili sieci i poszli za nim.
21 And having gone on from there He saw others two brothers, James the [son] of Zebedee and John the brother of him in the boat with Zebedee the father of them mending the nets of them, and He called them.
A gdy poszedł stamtąd dalej, zobaczył innych dwóch braci, Jakuba, [syna] Zebedeusza, i Jana, jego brata, jak ze swoim ojcem Zebedeuszem naprawiali w łodzi swoje sieci. I wezwał ich.
22 And immediately having left the boat and the father of them they followed Him.
A oni natychmiast opuścili łódź i swego ojca i poszli za nim.
23 And He was going (through *no*) (all Galilee *N(k)O*) (Jesus *ko*) teaching in the synagogues of them and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
I obchodził Jezus całą Galileę, nauczając w ich synagogach, głosząc ewangelię królestwa i uzdrawiając wszystkie choroby i wszelkie dolegliwości wśród ludzi.
24 And went out the news of Him into all Syria; And they brought to Him all the sick having various diseases and by pains oppressing, and those being demonised and those being epileptic and those paralytic; and He healed them.
A wieść o nim rozeszła się po całej Syrii. I przyprowadzano do niego wszystkich, którzy się źle czuli, którzy byli nękani różnymi chorobami i cierpieniami, a także opętanych, obłąkanych i sparaliżowanych, a on ich uzdrawiał.
25 And followed Him crowds great from Galilee and [the] Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and beyond the Jordan.
A szło za nim mnóstwo ludzi z Galilei i Dekapolu, Jerozolimy, Judei i Zajordania.
