< Matthew 27 >

1 As morning then having arrived counsel took all the chief priests and the elders of the people against Jesus so that they might put to death him,
Ayuk anganbada, athoiba purohitsing pumnamak amasung ahal-lamansingna Jisubu hatnanaba wa tanarammi.
2 And having bound Him they led away [Him] and delivered (Him to Pontius *K*) Pilate the governor.
Aduga makhoina Ibungobu punduna mapham adudagi puraklaga Rome-gi leingakmapu Pilat-ta sinnarammi.
3 Then having seen Judas the [one who] (betraying *NK(o)*) Him that He was condemned, having regretted [it] (he turned *N(k)O*) the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and (to the *k*) elders
Adudagi makhoina Ibungobu maral siduna sibagi cheirak pikhiba adu Ibungobu pithokpa Judas-na ubada, ningamlaktraduna lupagi sel mayek kunthra adu athoiba purohitsinggi amadi ahal-lamansinggi maphamda handoklammi.
4 saying; I sinned having betrayed blood (innocent. *NK(O)*) Then they said; What [is that] to us? You yourself will see.
Aduga mahakna hairak-i, “Eina maran leitaba mi amabu pithoktuna pap toukhare.” Maduda makhoina khumlak-i, “Maduda eikhoigi kari ithou leibage? Madudi nahakki nathouni!”
5 And having cast down the pieces of silver (into the temple *N(k)O*) he withdrew, and having gone away hanged himself.
Adudagi mahakna lupagi sel mayeksing adu Mapugi Sanglenda langsillamlaga chatkhre; aduga mahakna chatkhraga masa mathanta thouri yanduna sijare.
6 And the chief priests having taken the pieces of silver said; Not it is lawful to put them into the treasury since [the] price of blood it is.
Athoiba purohitsingna lupagi sel mayeksing adu loukhatlaga hairak-i, “Masi Mapugi Sanglengi lan-thamphamda thamjinbada eikhoigi Wayel Yathang kai maramdi masi ee-gi mamalni.”
7 Counsel then having taken they bought with them the field of the potter for a burial place for the strangers.
Aduga makhoina wa tanaraba tungda sel aduna chaphu sabagi loubuk adu leire amasung makhoina maduda lamlanbasingbu phumnanaba mapham semle.
8 Therefore was called the field that Field of Blood until this day.
Maram aduna loubuk adubu “Ee-gi loubuk” haina ngasi phaoba kounari.
9 Then was fulfilled that having been spoken through Jeremiah the prophet saying; And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of the [One] priced, whom they set a price on by [the] sons of Israel,
Maduna Tengban Mapugi wa phongdokpiba Jeremiah-na haikhiba adu thunghalle: “Israel-gi misingna lepkhiba Ibungogi mamal lupagi sel mayek kunthra adu makhoina loure,
10 and they gave them for the field of the potter, as directed me [the] Lord

11 And Jesus (stood *N(k)O*) before the governor; and questioned Him the governor saying; You yourself are the King of the Jews? And Jesus was saying (to him: *ko*) You yourself say.

12 And in accusing of Him by the chief priests and (the *ko*) elders no [thing] He answered.

13 Then says to Him Pilate; Not do you hear how many things You they witness against?
Maduda Pilat-na Ibungoda hairak-i, “Makhoina nahakki nathakta maral mayam siribasing asi nahak tadabra?”
14 And not He did answer him to not even one word so as to amaze the governor exceedingly.
Adubu Jisuna wahei amatasu khumlaktaba aduda leingakmapu adu yamna ngaklammi.
15 At now [the] feast had been accustomed the governor to release one to the multitude prisoner whom they were wishing.

16 They were holding now at that time a prisoner notable being named (Jesus *NO*) Barabbas.

17 When were assembled therefore they said to them Pilate; Whom do you want [that] I may release to you? (Jesus *NO*) (*no*) Barabbas or Jesus who is named Christ?
Maram aduna miyam adu tillabada Pilat-na makhoida hanglak-i, “Eina nakhoigidamak kanabu thadok-haningbage? Barabbas pura nattraga Christta kouba Jisubura?”
18 He knew for that through envy they delivered up him.
Jihudi luchingbasingna kallakpagi maramna Jisubu mangonda sinarakpani haibasi Pilat-na munna khanglammi.
19 When was sitting now he on the judgment seat sent to him the wife of him saying; [Let there be] nothing between you and the righteous [man] that; many things for I suffered today in a dream because of Him.
Aduga Pilat-na wayen phambeida phamlingeida, mahakki nupina pao ama tharaktuna mangonda hairak-i, “Maran leitaba mi aduda nahakna kari amata touganu, maramdi mahakki maramda ngasi mangda yamna awa khanglammi.”
20 And the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds that they may ask for Barabbas, and Jesus may destroy.

21 Answering now the governor said to them; Which do you desire of the two I may release to you? And they said; (*no*) Barabbas.
Maduda leingakmapuna makhoida hanglak-i, “Makhoi ani asigi maraktagi kanabu eina nakhoigidamak thadok-haningbage?” Makhoina hairak-i, “Barabbas-pu thadok-u!”
22 Says to them Pilate; What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ? They say (to him *k*) all; he should be crucified.
Maduda Pilat-na makhoida hanglak-i, “Adu oirabadi Christta kouba Jisubu eina kari tougadage?” Makhoi pumnamakna khumlak-i, “Mahakpu cross-ta hatlu!”
23 And (governor *k*) was saying: What for evil did He commit? And excessively they were crying out saying; he should be crucified.
Aduda Pilat-na makhoida hanglak-i, “Mahakna kari phattaba toukhrabage?” Maduda makhoina henadum laona hairak-i, “Mahakpu cross-ta hatlu!”
24 Having seen now Pilate that no [thing] it availed but rather a riot is arising, having taken water he washed the hands (opposite *NK(o)*) the crowd saying; Guiltless I am of the blood (righteous [one] *KO*) of this; For yourselves you will behold.

25 And answering all the people said; The blood of Him [be] on us and on the children of us.
Maduda makhoi pumnamakna khumlak-i, “Mahakki ee adu eikhoida amasung eikhoigi ichasinggi mathakta tasanu!”
26 Then he released to them Barabbas; and Jesus having flogged He delivered up [Him] that He may be crucified.
Maram aduna Pilat-na makhoigidamak Barabbas-pu thadokle aduga mahakna Jisubu phuhalle aduga cross-ta hatnaba makhoida sinakhre.
27 Then the soldiers of the governor having taken with [them] Jesus to the Praetorium gathered before Him all the cohort,
Adudagi leingakmapugi lanmisingna Jisubu leingakmapugi leipham praetorium-da pusille aduga lanmi kangbu apumbana Ibungogi akoibada koisilammi.
28 And having stripped Him a robe scarlet they put around Him,
Aduga makhoina Ibungogi maphi louthoklaga mangra machugi achonba phi setchinbire.
29 And having twisted together a crown of thorns they put [it] on (the head *N(k)O*) of Him and a reed (in the right hand *N(k)O*) of Him, and having bowed the knees before Him (they mocked *N(k)O*) Him saying; Hail (the *k*) (King *N(k)O*) of the Jews!
Adudagi makhoina tingkhanggi luhup ama lollaga Ibungogi makokta upsinbire aduga Ibungogi yet thangba makhuta sing-ut machei ama paihalle. Aduga makhoina Ibungogi mangda khuru khudak kunduna noknaduna hairak-i, “Khurumjari, he Jihudisinggi ningthou?”
30 And having spit upon Him they took the reed and were striking [Him] on the head of Him.
Adudagi makhoina Ibungoda tin sitchille aduga sing-ut machei adu louraga Ibungogi kokta phure.
31 And when they had mocked Him, they took off Him the robe and they put on Him the garments of Him and led away Him to to crucify [Him].
Aduga makhoina Ibungobu noknaraba matungda Ibungogi achonba phi adu louthoklaga Ibungo masagi phi adu amuk hanna setchinbire. Aduga makhoina mahakpu cross-ta hatnaba pukhre.
32 Going forth now they found a man of Cyrene named Simon; Him they compelled that he may carry the cross of Him.
Makhoina asum chatlingeida Simon kouba Cyrene-gi nupa ama thengnare aduga lanmising aduna mahakpu namduna Jisugi cross puhalle.
33 And having come to a place being named Golgotha, (which *N(k)O*) is of a Skull Place being named,

34 they gave Him to drink (wine *N(K)O*) with gall mingled, and having tasted not (He wished *N(k)O*) to drink [it].
Lanmising aduna akhaba yansillaba yu Ibungoda thaknaba pirammi adubu Ibungona madu mahao tanglabada thak-u haiba yadre.
35 having crucified now Him they divided the garments of Him casting lots, (so that may be fulfilled which having been spoken by prophet they divided the garments of mine themselves and upon the clothing of mine they cast lots *K*)
Makhoina Ibungobu cross-ta yotpi thaduna pang tinglaba matungda, makhoina laibak chang yengnaduna Ibungogi maphi-marolsing adu makhoi masel yennarammi. Masi Tengban Mapugi wa phongdokpiba maichou aduna haikhiba asi thungnanabani “Makhoina eigi phirol makhoigi marakta yenare aduga makhoina eigi achonba phigidamak laibak chang yengnare!”
36 And sitting down they were guarding Him there,
Aduga makhoina mapham aduda phamduna Ibungobu sanglammi.
37 And they put up over the head of Him the accusation of Him written: This is Jesus the King of the Jews.
Adudagi “Masi Jihudisinggi ningthou Jisu aduni” haina i-ba Ibungobu maran siba ayiba adu Ibungogi kokthaklomda makhoina thetle.
38 At the same time are crucified with Him two robbers, one at [the] right hand and one at [the] left.
Makhoina Ibungoga loinana huranba anibusu, amana Ibungogi yetta aduga amana oida cross-ta pang tinglammi.
39 Those now passing by were denigrating Him wagging the heads of them
Adudagi manak aduwaida chatthok chatsin touriba misingna Ibungoda thina nganglammi amasung mangak nomladuna,
40 and saying; You who [are] destroying the temple and in three days building [it], do save Yourself! If [the] Son You are of God, (also *n*) do descend from the cross!
noknaduna hairak-i, “Mapugi Sanglen thugaiduna numit humnida sagatkadaba nahak, nasabu kanjou! Nahak Tengban Mapugi Machanupa oirabadi cross-tagi kumtharak-u!”
41 Likewise (now *ko*) also the chief priests mocking with the scribes and elders (and Pharisees *O*) were saying;
Adugumduna athoiba purohitsing, Wayel Yathanggi ojasing amasung ahal- lamansingnasu Jisubu noknaduna hairak-i.
42 Others He saved, Himself not is He able to save. (if *k*) King of Israel He is, he should descend now from the cross, and we will believe (in *no*) (Him. *N(k)O*)
“Mahakna atoppasingbudi kanbi adubu mahak masabudi kanjaba ngamjade, Mahak Israel-gi ningthou nattra? Houjik mahakna cross-tagi kumthasanu aduga eikhoina mahakpu thajage.
43 He has trusted on God; he should deliver now (him *ko*) if He wants Him; He said for that Of God I am [the] Son.
Mahakna Tengban Mapubu thajei. Tengban Mapuna mahakpu kanba pamlabadi houjik mahakpu kanbisanu maramdi ‘Eidi Tengban Mapugi Machanupani’ haina mahakna haijei!”
44 And likewise even the robbers those having been crucified (with *no*) Him were upbraiding (Him. *N(k)O*)
Ibungoga loinana pang tingminnakhiba huranba ani adunasu Ibungobu chap manaba maongda ikaiba pirammi.
45 From then [the] sixth hour darkness was over all the land until [the] hour ninth.
Numityungba matamda leibak sinba thungna pung ahum amambana kupsillammi.
46 About then the ninth hour (cried out *NK(o)*) Jesus in a voice loud saying; (Eli Eli, *NK(o)*) lema sabachthani? That is: God of Mine God of Mine, so why so why Me have you forsaken?
Pung ahummuk tarakpa matamduda Jisuna ahouba khonjelga loinana laorak-i, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” Masigi wahanthokti “Eigi Tengban Mapu Ibungo, eigi Tengban Mapu Ibungo, nangna eibu karigi thadokpiribano?” haibani.
47 Some then of those who there having stood listening were saying that Elijah calls this [man].
Mapham aduda leiriba makhoi kharana madu tabada hairak-i, “Mahakna Elijah-bu kouri.”
48 And immediately having run one of them and having taken a sponge, having filled [it] and with vinegar and having put [it] on a reed were giving to drink Him.
Khudak aduda makhoigi maraktagi amana chenkhiduna sponge ama louraga asinba yuda luple aduga sing-ut amada lengsilaga Ibungoda thaknaba pire.
49 And the rest (were saying; *NK(o)*) Wait! let us see whether comes Elijah to then save Him. (another now having taken a spear pierced of him side and went out water and blood. *O*)
Adubu atoppa misingna hairak-i, “Ngaikho, Elijah laktuna mahakpu kanbibra haibadu eikhoi yengkhisi.”
50 And Jesus again having cried in a voice loud yielded up [His] spirit.
Adudagi Jisuna khonjel houna amuk laoramlaga mathawai thakhre.
51 And behold the veil of the temple was torn from top until bottom into two, and the earth was shaken, and the rocks were split,
Matam aduda Mapugi Sanglen-gi asengba maphamgi phijang adu mathaktagi makha phaoba ani thokna segairammi. Aduga malem niklammi amasung nungjaosing kairammi.
52 and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the having fallen asleep saints (were raised, *N(k)O*)
Amasung mongphamsing hangdokle aduga sikhraba asengba mising kaya ama hinggatle.
53 and having gone forth out of the tombs after the resurrection of Him they entered into the holy city and appeared to many.
Aduga Jisuna hinggatlaba matungda, makhoina mongphamsing adu thadoklaga asengba saharda changduna mi kaya amada uhalle.
54 And the centurion and those with him keeping guard over Jesus having seen the earthquake and the [things that] (were happening *NK(o)*) feared greatly saying; Truly God’s Son was this.
Lanmi chamagi makok amasung mahakka loinana Jisubu sangliba lanmising aduna yuhar haba amadi thokliba thoudoksing adu ubada yamna kiraduna hairak-i, “Mahak asi asengbamak Tengban Mapugi Machanupani!”
55 They were now there women many from afar off looking on who followed Jesus from Galilee ministering to Him,
Galilee-dagi Jisugi matung injaduna Ibungogi thougal toujakhiba nupi mayam ama mapham aduda arappadagi yengduna leirammi.
56 among whom was Mary Magdalene and Mary she of James and (of Joseph *N(k)O*) [the] mother and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.
Makhoisinggi marakta Mary Magdalene, Jacob amadi Joseph-ki mama Mary, amasung Zebedee-gi nupi yaorammi.
57 When evening now having arrived came a man rich from Arimathea, named Joseph, who also himself (was discipled *N(K)O*) to Jesus.

58 He having gone to Pilate asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded it to be given up (the body. *ko*)

59 And having taken the body Joseph wrapped it (in *no*) a linen cloth clean

60 and placed it in the new of him tomb which he had cut in the rock, and having rolled a stone great to the door of the tomb he went away.

61 Was now there Mary Magdalene and the other Mary sitting opposite the tomb.
Aduga Mary Magdalene amasung atoppa Mary-na mongphamga maiyoknana phamduna leirammi.
62 on the And next day which is after the Preparation, were gathered together the chief priests and the Pharisees before Pilate
Mathanggi numit haibadi potthaba numitta, athoiba purohitsing amasung pharisee-singna Pilat unaba punna laklammi.
63 saying; Sir, we have remembered how that [on, e] the deceiver said while living; After three days I arise.
Aduga makhoina Pilat-ta hairak-i, “Ikai khumnajaraba Ibungo, minamba nupa aduna hinglingeida, ‘Humni suba numitta eina amuk hinggatkani’ haina haikhiba adu eikhoi ningsing-i.
64 do command therefore to be secured the tomb until the third day, otherwise otherwise having come the disciples of Him (night *K*) may steal away him and they may say to the people; He is risen from the dead. And will be the last deception worse than the first.
Maram aduna numit humni sudriphaoba mongpham adu ningthina ngak-sennaba yathang pibiyu, nattrabadi mahakki tung-inbasingna laktuna mabu hukhraga, mahakpu asibasinggi maraktagi hinggatpikhre, haina misingda haiba yai. Madugi akonba minamba aduna ahanbagi minamba adudagi henna patthaba oigani.”
65 was saying (now *k*) to them Pilate; You have a guard; do go do make [it as] secure as you know [how].
Maduda Pilat-na makhoida hairak-i, “Nakhoina ngak-sennaba lanmising lou, Aduga nakhoina ngamba makhei cheksinna ngak-hallu.”
66 And having gone they made secure the tomb having sealed the stone with the guard.
Maram aduna makhoina chatkhraga mongpham adugi nung adu chum namduna amadi lanmising thamduna mongpham adu cheksinna ngakhalle.
