Matthew 26
1 And it came to pass when finished Jesus all words these, He said to the disciples of Him;
யீஸு²ரேதாந் ப்ரஸ்தாவாந் ஸமாப்ய ஸி²ஷ்யாநூசே,
2 You know that after two days the Passover takes place, and the Son of Man is delivered over to be crucified.
யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்ஜ்ஞாதம்’ தி³நத்³வயாத் பரம்’ நிஸ்தாரமஹ உபஸ்தா²ஸ்யதி, தத்ர மநுஜஸுத: க்ருஸே²ந ஹந்தும்’ பரகரேஷு ஸமர்பிஷ்யதே|
3 Then were gathered together the chief priests (and scribes *K*) and the elders of the people in the courtyard of the high priest who is being named Caiaphas
தத: பரம்’ ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகாத்⁴யாபகப்ராஞ்ச: கியபா²நாம்நோ மஹாயாஜகஸ்யாட்டாலிகாயாம்’ மிலித்வா
4 and they plotted together in order that Jesus by guile they may seize and may kill.
கேநோபாயேந யீஸு²ம்’ த்⁴ரு’த்வா ஹந்தும்’ ஸ²க்நுயுரிதி மந்த்ரயாஞ்சக்ரு: |
5 They were saying however; Not [seize him] during the feast, that not a riot may happen among the people.
கிந்து தைருக்தம்’ மஹகாலே ந த⁴ர்த்தவ்ய: , த்⁴ரு’தே ப்ரஜாநாம்’ கலஹேந ப⁴விதும்’ ஸ²க்யதே|
6 And of Jesus having been in Bethany in [the] house of Simon the leper
ததோ பை³த²நியாபுரே ஸி²மோநாக்²யஸ்ய குஷ்டி²நோ வேஸ்²மநி யீஸௌ² திஷ்ட²தி
7 came to Him a woman having an alabaster flask of fragrant oil very costly and poured [it] on (the head *N(k)O*) when he is reclining.
காசந யோஷா ஸ்²வேதோபலபா⁴ஜநேந மஹார்க்⁴யம்’ ஸுக³ந்தி⁴ தைலமாநீய போ⁴ஜநாயோபவிஸ²தஸ்தஸ்ய ஸி²ரோப்⁴யஷேசத்|
8 Having seen then the disciples (of him *k*) became indignant saying; For what purpose [is] the waste this?
கிந்து ததா³லோக்ய தச்சி²ஷ்யை: குபிதைருக்தம்’, குத இத்த²மபவ்யயதே?
9 It was possible for this (*k*) (fragrant oil *K*) to be sold for much and to be given to [the] poor.
சேதி³த³ம்’ வ்யக்ரேஷ்யத, தர்ஹி பூ⁴ரிமூல்யம்’ ப்ராப்ய த³ரித்³ரேப்⁴யோ வ்யதாரிஷ்யத|
10 Having known [this] now Jesus said to them; Why trouble do you cause to the woman? A work for beautiful she did to Me myself.
யீஸு²நா தத³வக³த்ய தே ஸமுதி³தா: , யோஷாமேநாம்’ குதோ து³: கி²நீம்’ குருத², ஸா மாம்’ ப்ரதி ஸாது⁴ கர்ம்மாகார்ஷீத்|
11 Always for the poor you have with yourselves, Me myself however not always you have.
யுஷ்மாகமம்’ ஸமீபே த³ரித்³ரா: ஸததமேவாஸதே, கிந்து யுஷ்மாகமந்திகேஹம்’ நாஸே ஸததம்’|
12 In pouring for this [woman] fragrant oil this on the body of Mine for to bury Me she did [it].
ஸா மம காயோபரி ஸுக³ந்தி⁴தைலம்’ ஸிக்த்வா மம ஸ்²மஸா²நதா³நகர்ம்மாகார்ஷீத்|
13 Amen I say to you; wherever if shall be proclaimed gospel this in all the world, will be spoken of also that which did this [woman] for a memorial of her.
அதோஹம்’ யுஷ்மாந் தத்²யம்’ வதா³மி ஸர்வ்வஸ்மிந் ஜக³தி யத்ர யத்ரைஷ ஸுஸமாசார: ப்ரசாரிஷ்யதே, தத்ர தத்ரைதஸ்யா நார்ய்யா: ஸ்மரணார்த²ம் கர்ம்மேத³ம்’ ப்ரசாரிஷ்யதே|
14 Then having gone one of the Twelve, the [one] being named Judas Iscariot, to the chief priests
ததோ த்³வாத³ஸ²ஸி²ஷ்யாணாம் ஈஷ்கரியோதீயயிஹூதா³நாமக ஏக: ஸி²ஷ்ய: ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகாநாமந்திகம்’ க³த்வா கதி²தவாந்,
15 he said; What are you willing me to give, and I myself and I myself to you will betray Him? And they appointed to him thirty pieces of silver.
யதி³ யுஷ்மாகம்’ கரேஷு யீஸு²ம்’ ஸமர்பயாமி, தர்ஹி கிம்’ தா³ஸ்யத²? ததா³நீம்’ தே தஸ்மை த்ரிம்’ஸ²ந்முத்³ரா தா³தும்’ ஸ்தி²ரீக்ரு’தவந்த: |
16 And from that time he was seeking an opportunity that Him he may betray.
ஸ ததா³ரப்⁴ய தம்’ பரகரேஷு ஸமர்பயிதும்’ ஸுயோக³ம்’ சேஷ்டிதவாந்|
17 On the now first [day] of the unleavened [bread] came the disciples to Jesus saying (to him: *k*) Where wish you [that] (we may prepare *NK(o)*) for You to eat the Passover?
அநந்தரம்’ கிண்வஸூ²ந்யபூபபர்வ்வண: ப்ரத²மேஹ்நி ஸி²ஷ்யா யீஸு²ம் உபக³த்ய பப்ரச்சு²: ப⁴வத்க்ரு’தே குத்ர வயம்’ நிஸ்தாரமஹபோ⁴ஜ்யம் ஆயோஜயிஷ்யாம: ? ப⁴வத: கேச்சா²?
18 And He said; do go into the city unto a certain man and do tell him: the Teacher says; The time for Me near is, with you I keep the Passover with the disciples of Mine.’
ததா³ ஸ க³தி³தவாந், மத்⁴யேநக³ரமமுகபும்’ஸ: ஸமீபம்’ வ்ரஜித்வா வத³த, கு³ரு ர்க³தி³தவாந், மத்கால: ஸவித⁴: , ஸஹ ஸி²ஷ்யைஸ்த்வதா³லயே நிஸ்தாரமஹபோ⁴ஜ்யம்’ போ⁴க்ஷ்யே|
19 And did the disciples as directed them Jesus, and prepared the Passover.
ததா³ ஸி²ஷ்யா யீஸோ²ஸ்தாத்³ரு’ஸ²நிதே³ஸா²நுரூபகர்ம்ம விதா⁴ய தத்ர நிஸ்தாரமஹபோ⁴ஜ்யமாஸாத³யாமாஸு: |
20 As evening now having arrived He was reclining with the twelve (disciples. *O*)
தத: ஸந்த்⁴யாயாம்’ ஸத்யாம்’ த்³வாத³ஸ²பி⁴: ஸி²ஷ்யை: ஸாகம்’ ஸ ந்யவிஸ²த்|
21 And when were eating they He said; Amen I say to you that one of you will betray Me.
அபரம்’ பு⁴ஞ்ஜாந உக்தவாந் யுஷ்மாந் தத்²யம்’ வதா³மி, யுஷ்மாகமேகோ மாம்’ பரகரேஷு ஸமர்பயிஷ்யதி|
22 And being grieved exceedingly they began to say to Him one each (of them: *k*) surely not ever I myself is it, Lord?
ததா³ தே(அ)தீவ து³: கி²தா ஏகைகஸோ² வக்துமாரேபி⁴ரே, ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴, ஸ கிமஹம்’?
23 And answering He said; The [one] having dipped with Me the hand in the dish he Me will betray.
தத: ஸ ஜகா³த³, மயா ஸாகம்’ யோ ஜநோ போ⁴ஜநபாத்ரே கரம்’ ஸம்’க்ஷிபதி, ஸ ஏவ மாம்’ பரகரேஷு ஸமர்பயிஷ்யதி|
24 Indeed the Son of Man goes even as it has been written about Him, woe however for the man that [one] through whom the Son of Man is betrayed; Better was being for him if not was born the man that.
மநுஜஸுதமதி⁴ யாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ லிகி²தமாஸ்தே, தத³நுரூபா தத்³க³தி ர்ப⁴விஷ்யதி; கிந்து யேந பும்’ஸா ஸ பரகரேஷு ஸமர்பயிஷ்யதே, ஹா ஹா சேத் ஸ நாஜநிஷ்யத, ததா³ தஸ்ய க்ஷேமமப⁴விஷ்யத்|
25 Answering now Judas who is betraying Him said; surely not ever I myself is it, Rabbi? He says to him; You yourself have said.
ததா³ யிஹூதா³நாமா யோ ஜநஸ்தம்’ பரகரேஷு ஸமர்பயிஷ்யதி, ஸ உக்தவாந், ஹே கு³ரோ, ஸ கிமஹம்’? தத: ஸ ப்ரத்யுக்தவாந், த்வயா ஸத்யம்’ க³தி³தம்|
26 When were eating now they having taken Jesus (*k*) bread and (having blessed *NK(O)*) broke [it], and (giving *N(k)O*) to the disciples (and *k*) He said; do take do eat; this is the body of Me.
அநந்தரம்’ தேஷாமஸ²நகாலே யீஸு²: பூபமாதா³யேஸ்²வரீயகு³ணாநநூத்³ய ப⁴ம்’க்த்வா ஸி²ஷ்யேப்⁴ய: ப்ரதா³ய ஜகா³த³, மத்³வபு: ஸ்வரூபமிமம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா கா²த³த|
27 And having taken (*k*) a cup and having given thanks He gave [it] to them saying; do drink of it all of you;
பஸ்²சாத் ஸ கம்’ஸம்’ க்³ரு’ஹ்லந் ஈஸ்²வரீயகு³ணாநநூத்³ய தேப்⁴ய: ப்ரதா³ய கதி²தவாந், ஸர்வ்வை ர்யுஷ்மாபி⁴ரநேந பாதவ்யம்’,
28 This for is the blood of Mine (*k*) of the (of a new *KO*) covenant for many being poured out for forgiveness of sins.
யஸ்மாத³நேகேஷாம்’ பாபமர்ஷணாய பாதிதம்’ யந்மந்நூத்நநியமரூபஸோ²ணிதம்’ ததே³தத்|
29 I say now to you (that: *k*) certainly not shall I drink from now of this the (fruit *N(k)O*) of the vine until the day that when it I may drink with you anew in the kingdom of the Father of Mine.
அபரமஹம்’ நூத்நகோ³ஸ்தநீரஸம்’ ந பாஸ்யாமி, தாவத் கோ³ஸ்தநீப²லரஸம்’ புந: கதா³பி ந பாஸ்யாமி|
30 And having sung a hymn they went out to the Mount of Olives.
பஸ்²சாத் தே கீ³தமேகம்’ ஸம்’கீ³ய ஜைதுநாக்²யகி³ரிம்’ க³தவந்த: |
31 Then says to them Jesus; All you yourselves will fall away because of Me myself during night this; It has been written for: I will strike the shepherd, and (they will be scattered *N(k)O*) the sheep of the flock.’
ததா³நீம்’ யீஸு²ஸ்தாநவோசத், அஸ்யாம்’ ரஜந்யாமஹம்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ விக்⁴நரூபோ ப⁴விஷ்யாமி, யதோ லிகி²தமாஸ்தே, "மேஷாணாம்’ ரக்ஷகோ யஸ்தம்’ ப்ரஹரிஷ்யாம்யஹம்’ தத: | மேஷாணாம்’ நிவஹோ நூநம்’ ப்ரவிகீர்ணோ ப⁴விஷ்யதி"||
32 After however to raise Me I will go before you into Galilee.
கிந்து ஸ்²மஸா²நாத் ஸமுத்தா²ய யுஷ்மாகமக்³ரே(அ)ஹம்’ கா³லீலம்’ க³மிஷ்யாமி|
33 Answering now Peter said to Him; If (even *k*) all will fall away because of You, I myself (but *k*) never will fall away.
பிதரஸ்தம்’ ப்ரோவாச, ப⁴வாம்’ஸ்²சேத் ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ விக்⁴நரூபோ ப⁴வதி, ததா²பி மம ந ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
34 was saying to him Jesus; Amen I say to you that during this night before [the] rooster crowing three times you will deny Me.
ததோ யீஸு²நா ஸ உக்த: , துப்⁴யமஹம்’ தத்²யம்’ கத²யாமி, யாமிந்யாமஸ்யாம்’ சரணாயுத⁴ஸ்ய ரவாத் பூர்வ்வம்’ த்வம்’ மாம்’ த்ரி ர்நாங்கீ³கரிஷ்யஸி|
35 Says to Him Peter; Even if Even if it shall be necessary for me with You to die, certainly not You (I will deny. *NK(o)*) Likewise (now *o*) also all the disciples said.
தத: பிதர உதி³தவாந், யத்³யபி த்வயா ஸமம்’ மர்த்தவ்யம்’, ததா²பி கதா³பி த்வாம்’ ந நாங்கீ³கரிஷ்யாமி; ததை²வ ஸர்வ்வே ஸி²ஷ்யாஸ்²சோசு: |
36 Then comes with them Jesus to a place being named Gethsemane and He says to the disciples; do sit here until that having gone away over there I may pray.
அநந்தரம்’ யீஸு²: ஸி²ஷ்யை: ஸாகம்’ கே³த்ஸி²மாநீநாமகம்’ ஸ்தா²நம்’ ப்ரஸ்தா²ய தேப்⁴ய: கதி²தவாந், அத³: ஸ்தா²நம்’ க³த்வா யாவத³ஹம்’ ப்ரார்த²யிஷ்யே தாவத்³ யூயமத்ரோபவிஸ²த|
37 And having taken with [Him] Peter and the two sons of Zebedee He began to be sorrowful and to be deeply distressed.
பஸ்²சாத் ஸ பிதரம்’ ஸிவதி³யஸுதௌ ச ஸங்கி³ந: க்ரு’த்வா க³தவாந், ஸோ²காகுலோ(அ)தீவ வ்யதி²தஸ்²ச ப³பூ⁴வ|
38 Then He says to them (*o*) (Jesus: *O*) Very sorrowful is the soul of Mine until death; do remain here and do watch with Me.
தாநவாதீ³ச்ச ம்ரு’தியாதநேவ மத்ப்ராணாநாம்’ யாதநா ஜாயதே, யூயமத்ர மயா ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ ஜாக்³ரு’த|
39 And (having gone forward *NK(o)*) a little He fell upon face of Him praying and saying; Father of Mine, if possible it is, should pass from Me cup this; Nevertheless not [it is] as I myself wish but as You.
தத: ஸ கிஞ்சித்³தூ³ரம்’ க³த்வாதோ⁴முக²: பதந் ப்ரார்த²யாஞ்சக்ரே, ஹே மத்பிதர்யதி³ ப⁴விதும்’ ஸ²க்நோதி, தர்ஹி கம்’ஸோ(அ)யம்’ மத்தோ தூ³ரம்’ யாது; கிந்து மதி³ச்சா²வத் ந ப⁴வது, த்வதி³ச்சா²வத்³ ப⁴வது|
40 And He comes to the disciples and finds them sleeping And He says to Peter; Thus not were you able one hour to watch with Me?
தத: ஸ ஸி²ஷ்யாநுபேத்ய தாந் நித்³ரதோ நிரீக்ஷ்ய பிதராய கத²யாமாஸ, யூயம்’ மயா ஸாகம்’ த³ண்ட³மேகமபி ஜாக³ரிதும்’ நாஸ²ந்குத?
41 do watch and do pray that not you may enter into temptation. The indeed spirit [is] willing however the flesh weak.
பரீக்ஷாயாம்’ ந பதிதும்’ ஜாக்³ரு’த ப்ரார்த²யத்⁴வஞ்ச; ஆத்மா ஸமுத்³யதோஸ்தி, கிந்து வபு ர்து³ர்ப்³ப³லம்’|
42 Again for a second time having gone away He prayed saying; Father of Mine, if not is possible this (cup *K*) to pass (from Me *k*) only unless it I shall drink, [then] should be [done] the will of You.
ஸ த்³விதீயவாரம்’ ப்ரார்த²யாஞ்சக்ரே, ஹே மத்தாத, ந பீதே யதி³ கம்’ஸமித³ம்’ மத்தோ தூ³ரம்’ யாதும்’ ந ஸ²க்நோதி, தர்ஹி த்வதி³ச்சா²வத்³ ப⁴வது|
43 And having come again (He found *N(k)O*) them sleeping; were for of them the eyes wearied.
ஸ புநரேத்ய தாந் நித்³ரதோ த³த³ர்ஸ², யதஸ்தேஷாம்’ நேத்ராணி நித்³ரயா பூர்ணாந்யாஸந்|
44 And having left them again having gone away He prayed for [the] third time the same thing having said (again. *no*)
பஸ்²சாத் ஸ தாந் விஹாய வ்ரஜித்வா த்ரு’தீயவாரம்’ பூர்வ்வவத் கத²யந் ப்ரார்தி²தவாந்|
45 Then He comes to the disciples (of him *k*) and says to them; Sleep later on and take your rest; Behold has drawn near the hour, and the Son of Man is betrayed into [the] hands of sinners.
தத: ஸி²ஷ்யாநுபாக³த்ய க³தி³தவாந், ஸாம்ப்ரதம்’ ஸ²யாநா: கிம்’ விஸ்²ராம்யத²? பஸ்²யத, ஸமய உபாஸ்தா²த், மநுஜஸுத: பாபிநாம்’ கரேஷு ஸமர்ப்யதே|
46 do rise up let us go; Behold he has drawn near who is betraying Me!
உத்திஷ்ட²த, வயம்’ யாம: , யோ மாம்’ பரகரேஷு மஸர்பயிஷ்யதி, பஸ்²யத, ஸ ஸமீபமாயாதி|
47 And yet when he is speaking behold Judas one of the Twelve came, and with him a crowd great with swords and clubs from the chief priests and elders of the people.
ஏதத்கதா²கத²நகாலே த்³வாத³ஸ²ஸி²ஷ்யாணாமேகோ யிஹூதா³நாமகோ முக்²யயாஜகலோகப்ராசீநை: ப்ரஹிதாந் அஸிதா⁴ரியஷ்டிதா⁴ரிணோ மநுஜாந் க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா தத்ஸமீபமுபதஸ்தௌ²|
48 The [one] then betraying Him gave to them a sign saying; Whomever maybe I may kiss, He himself it is; do seize Him.
அஸௌ பரகரேஷ்வர்பயிதா பூர்வ்வம்’ தாந் இத்த²ம்’ ஸங்கேதயாமாஸ, யமஹம்’ சும்பி³ஷ்யே, ஸோ(அ)ஸௌ மநுஜ: ,ஸஏவ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்தா⁴ர்ய்யதாம்’|
49 And immediately having come up to Jesus he said; Greetings Rabbi, and kissed Him.
ததா³ ஸ ஸபதி³ யீஸு²முபாக³த்ய ஹே கு³ரோ, ப்ரணமாமீத்யுக்த்வா தம்’ சுசும்பே³|
50 And Jesus said to him; Friend, [do] for (what *N(k)O*) you are come. Then having come to [him] they laid hands on Jesus and seized Him.
ததா³ யீஸு²ஸ்தமுவாச, ஹே மித்ரம்’ கிமர்த²மாக³தோஸி? ததா³ தைராக³த்ய யீஸு²ராக்ரம்ய த³க்⁴ரே|
51 And behold one of those with Jesus having stretched out the hand drew the sword of him, and having struck the servant of the high priest cut off of him the ear.
ததோ யீஸோ²: ஸங்கி³நாமேக: கரம்’ ப்ரஸார்ய்ய கோஷாத³ஸிம்’ ப³ஹிஷ்க்ரு’த்ய மஹாயாஜகஸ்ய தா³ஸமேகமாஹத்ய தஸ்ய கர்ணம்’ சிச்சே²த³|
52 Then says to him Jesus; do return the sword of you into the place of it; all for those having taken [the] sword by [the] sword (will perish. *NK(o)*)
ததோ யீஸு²ஸ்தம்’ ஜகா³த³, க²ட்³க³ம்’ ஸ்வஸ்தா²நே நிதே⁴ஹி யதோ யே யே ஜநா அஸிம்’ தா⁴ரயந்தி, தஏவாஸிநா விநஸ்²யந்தி|
53 Or think you that not I am able to call upon the Father of Mine, and He will furnish to Me presently (more *N(k)O*) (than *k*) twelve (legions *N(k)O*) of angels?
அபரம்’ பிதா யதா² மத³ந்திகம்’ ஸ்வர்கீ³யதூ³தாநாம்’ த்³வாத³ஸ²வாஹிநீதோ(அ)தி⁴கம்’ ப்ரஹிணுயாத் மயா தமுத்³தி³ஸ்²யேதா³நீமேவ ததா² ப்ரார்த²யிதும்’ ந ஸ²க்யதே, த்வயா கிமித்த²ம்’ ஜ்ஞாயதே?
54 How then may be fulfilled the Scriptures that so it must be being?
ததா² ஸதீத்த²ம்’ க⁴டிஷ்யதே த⁴ர்ம்மபுஸ்தகஸ்ய யதி³த³ம்’ வாக்யம்’ தத் கத²ம்’ ஸித்⁴யேத்?
55 In that [very] hour said Jesus to the crowds; As against a robber did you come out with swords and clubs to capture Me? Every day (to you *KO*) in the temple I was sitting teaching and not you did seize Me.
ததா³நீம்’ யீஸு² ர்ஜநநிவஹம்’ ஜகா³த³, யூயம்’ க²ட்³க³யஷ்டீந் ஆதா³ய மாம்’ கிம்’ சௌரம்’ த⁴ர்த்துமாயாதா: ? அஹம்’ ப்ரத்யஹம்’ யுஷ்மாபி⁴: ஸாகமுபவிஸ்²ய ஸமுபாதி³ஸ²ம்’, ததா³ மாம்’ நாத⁴ரத;
56 This then all has come to pass that may be fulfilled the Scriptures of the prophets. Then the disciples all having forsaken Him fled.
கிந்து ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நாம்’ வாக்யாநாம்’ ஸம்’ஸித்³த⁴யே ஸர்வ்வமேதத³பூ⁴த்| ததா³ ஸர்வ்வே ஸி²ஷ்யாஸ்தம்’ விஹாய பலாயந்த|
57 Those then having seized Jesus led [Him] away to Caiaphas the high priest where the scribes and the elders were assembled.
அநந்தரம்’ தே மநுஜா யீஸு²ம்’ த்⁴ரு’த்வா யத்ராத்⁴யாபகப்ராஞ்ச: பரிஷத³ம்’ குர்வ்வந்த உபாவிஸ²ந் தத்ர கியபா²நாமகமஹாயாஜகஸ்யாந்திகம்’ நிந்யு: |
58 And Peter was following Him from afar until the court of the high priest, And having entered within he was sitting with the guards to see the outcome.
கிந்து ஸே²ஷே கிம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யதீதி வேத்தும்’ பிதரோ தூ³ரே தத்பஸ்²சாத்³ வ்ரஜித்வா மஹாயாஜகஸ்யாட்டாலிகாம்’ ப்ரவிஸ்²ய தா³ஸை: ஸஹித உபாவிஸ²த்|
59 And the chief priests and (elders and *K*) the Council whole were seeking false testimony against Jesus so that him (they may put to death *NK(o)*)
ததா³நீம்’ ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகப்ராசீநமந்த்ரிண: ஸர்வ்வே யீஸு²ம்’ ஹந்தும்’ ம்ரு’ஷாஸாக்ஷ்யம் அலிப்ஸந்த,
60 but not any they found (and *k*) of many having come forward as false witnesses (not they found. *k*) Finally then having come forward two (false witnesses *k*)
கிந்து ந லேபி⁴ரே| அநேகேஷு ம்ரு’ஷாஸாக்ஷிஷ்வாக³தேஷ்வபி தந்ந ப்ராபு: |
61 they said; This [man] was saying: I am able to destroy the temple of God and in three days to rebuild it (him. *k*)
ஸே²ஷே த்³வௌ ம்ரு’ஷாஸாக்ஷிணாவாக³த்ய ஜக³த³து: , புமாநயமகத²யத், அஹமீஸ்²வரமந்தி³ரம்’ ப⁴ம்’க்த்வா தி³நத்ரயமத்⁴யே தந்நிர்ம்மாதும்’ ஸ²க்நோமி|
62 And having stood up the high priest said to Him; No [thing] answer you? What these you do witness against?
ததா³ மஹாயாஜக உத்தா²ய யீஸு²ம் அவாதீ³த்| த்வம்’ கிமபி ந ப்ரதிவத³ஸி? த்வாமதி⁴ கிமேதே ஸாக்ஷ்யம்’ வத³ந்தி?
63 And Jesus was silent. And (answering *k*) the high priest said to Him; I adjure you by God the living that us may you tell if You yourself are the Christ the Son of God.
கிந்து யீஸு² ர்மௌநீபூ⁴ய தஸ்யௌ| ததோ மஹாயாஜக உக்தவாந், த்வாம் அமரேஸ்²வரநாம்நா ஸ²பயாமி, த்வமீஸ்²வரஸ்ய புத்ரோ(அ)பி⁴ஷிக்தோ ப⁴வஸி நவேதி வத³|
64 Says to him Jesus; You yourself have said. But I say to you; from now you will behold the Son of Man sitting at [the] right hand of Power and coming upon the clouds of heaven.
யீஸு²: ப்ரத்யவத³த், த்வம்’ ஸத்யமுக்தவாந்; அஹம்’ யுஷ்மாந் தத்²யம்’ வதா³மி, இத: பரம்’ மநுஜஸுதம்’ ஸர்வ்வஸ²க்திமதோ த³க்ஷிணபார்ஸ்²வே ஸ்தா²தும்’ க³க³ணஸ்த²ம்’ ஜலத⁴ராநாருஹ்யாயாந்தம்’ வீக்ஷத்⁴வே|
65 Then the high priest tears the garments of him saying (that: *k*) He has blasphemed; why any more need have we of witnesses? Behold now you have heard the blasphemy (of him. *k*)
ததா³ மஹாயாஜகோ நிஜவஸநம்’ சி²த்த்வா ஜகா³த³, ஏஷ ஈஸ்²வரம்’ நிந்தி³தவாந், அஸ்மாகமபரஸாக்ஷ்யேண கிம்’ ப்ரயோஜநம்’? பஸ்²யத, யூயமேவாஸ்யாஸ்யாத்³ ஈஸ்²வரநிந்தா³ம்’ ஸ்²ருதவந்த: ,
66 What you do think? And answering they said; Deserving of death He is.
யுஷ்மாபி⁴: கிம்’ விவிச்யதே? தே ப்ரத்யூசு: , வதா⁴ர்ஹோ(அ)யம்’|
67 Then they spat in the face of Him and struck Him. Others then slapped [Him]
ததோ லோகைஸ்ததா³ஸ்யே நிஷ்டீ²விதம்’ கேசித் ப்ரதலமாஹத்ய கேசிச்ச சபேடமாஹத்ய ப³பா⁴ஷிரே,
68 saying; do prophesy to us, Christ, who is the [one] having struck You?
ஹே க்²ரீஷ்ட த்வாம்’ கஸ்²சபேடமாஹதவாந்? இதி க³ணயித்வா வதா³ஸ்மாந்|
69 And Peter was sitting outside in the court. and came to him one servant girl saying; Also You yourself were with Jesus the Galilean.
பிதரோ ப³ஹிரங்க³ந உபவிஸ²தி, ததா³நீமேகா தா³ஸீ தமுபாக³த்ய ப³பா⁴ஷே, த்வம்’ கா³லீலீயயீஸோ²: ஸஹசரஏக: |
70 And he denied before (them *k*) all saying; Not I know what you say.
கிந்து ஸ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ ஸமக்ஷம் அநங்கீ³க்ரு’த்யாவாதீ³த், த்வயா யது³ச்யதே, தத³ர்த²மஹம்’ ந வேத்³மி|
71 Having gone out then (him *k*) to the porch saw him another [servant girl] and she says (to those *NK(o)*) there; (and *ko*) This [man] was with Jesus of Nazareth.
ததா³ தஸ்மிந் ப³ஹிர்த்³வாரம்’ க³தே (அ)ந்யா தா³ஸீ தம்’ நிரீக்ஷ்ய தத்ரத்யஜநாநவத³த், அயமபி நாஸரதீயயீஸு²நா ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் ஆஸீத்|
72 And again he denied with an oath that Not I know the man.
தத: ஸ ஸ²பதே²ந புநரநங்கீ³க்ரு’த்ய கதி²தவாந், தம்’ நரம்’ ந பரிசிநோமி|
73 After a little while also having come to [him] those having stood they said to Peter; Surely also you yourself of them are; even for the speech of you away you gives.
க்ஷணாத் பரம்’ திஷ்ட²ந்தோ ஜநா ஏத்ய பிதரம் அவத³ந், த்வமவஸ்²யம்’ தேஷாமேக இதி த்வது³ச்சாரணமேவ த்³யோதயதி|
74 Then he began to curse and to swear that Not I know the man! And immediately a rooster crowed.
கிந்து ஸோ(அ)பி⁴ஸ²ப்ய கதி²தவாந், தம்’ ஜநம்’ நாஹம்’ பரிசிநோமி, ததா³ ஸபதி³ குக்குடோ ருராவ|
75 And remembered Peter the declaration (*k*) of Jesus having said (to him *k*) that Before [the] rooster crowing three times you will deny Me, And having gone out he wept bitterly.
குக்குடரவாத் ப்ராக் த்வம்’ மாம்’ த்ரிரபாஹ்நோஷ்யஸே, யைஷா வாக்³ யீஸு²நாவாதி³ தாம்’ பிதர: ஸம்’ஸ்ம்ரு’த்ய ப³ஹிரித்வா கே²தா³த்³ ப்⁴ரு’ஸ²ம்’ சக்ரந்த³|
