< Mark 9 >

1 And He was saying to them; Amen I say to you that there are some here of those already standing who certainly not may taste of death until when they may see the kingdom of God having come with power.
Jesu a tswelela a raya barutwa ba gagwe a re, “Bangwe ba lona ba ba emeng fa, gompieno ba tlaa tshela go bona Bogosi jwa Modimo bo tla ka nonofo e kgolo!”
2 And after days six takes along Jesus Peter and James and John and brings up them into a mountain high apart [on their] own alone. And He was transfigured before them,
Malatsi a le marataro a sena go feta Jesu a tsaya Petere, Jakobe le Johane, a tlhatlhogela kwa godimo ga thaba. Go ne go sena ope teng.
3 and the garments of Him (was *NK(o)*) shining white exceedingly (as snow *K*) such as a launderer on the earth not is able (thus *no*) to whiten.
mme diaparo tsa gagwe tsa tsabakela, tsa nna ditshweu thata, di galalela thata go gaisa jaaka motho ope mo lefatshing a ka di sweufatsa.
4 And appeared to them Elijah with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.
Hong Elija le Moshe ba bonala mme ba simolola go bua le Jesu!
5 And answering Peter says to Jesus; Rabbi, good it is for us here to be, And let us make three tabernacles for You one and for Moses one and for Elijah one;
Mme Petere a bua a re, “Moruti, go go ntle jang!”
6 Not for he knew what (he may answer, *N(k)(o)*) terrified for (they were. *N(k)O*)
O ne a bua se fela, gonne o ne a sa itse se a ka se buang ka botlhe ba ne ba tshogile.
7 And there came a cloud overshadowing them, and (there was *N(k)O*) a voice out of the cloud (saying: *k*) This is the Son of Mine the beloved; do listen to Him.
Reetsang ene.”
8 And suddenly having looked around no longer no longer no [one] they saw (except *NK(o)*) Jesus alone with themselves.
9 (And *no*) when are descending (now *k*) they (from *N(k)O*) the mountain He instructed them that to no one what they had seen they may tell only except when the Son of Man out from [the] dead he may rise.
Ya re ba fologa mo thabeng a ba raya are ba seka ba bolelela ope kaga se ba se boneng go fitlhelela a sena go tsoga mo baswing.
10 And that saying they kept among themselves questioning what it is out from the dead to rise.
Mme ba ipolokela kgang e, ba nna ba bua ka ga yone, gore o kane a raya eng “Ka go tsoga mo baswing.”
11 And they were asking Him saying: that Say the scribes that Elijah it behooves to come first?
Hong ba simolola go mmotsa kaga sengwe se baeteledipele ba tumelo ya Sejuta ba tlwaetseng go se bua, ba re Elija o tshwanetse go tla (pele ga Mesia a ka tla).
12 And (answering *k*) (He was saying *N(k)O*) to them; Elijah indeed having come first restores all things; and how has it been written of the Son of Man that many things He may suffer and may be set at naught.
Mme Jesu a dumela gore Elija o tshwanetse go tla pele go baakanya tsela, le fa go ntse jalo go setse go diragetse, o setse a tsile!
13 But I say to you that also Elijah has come, and they did to him as much as (they were desiring *N(k)O*) even as it has been written of him.
14 And (having come *N(k)O*) to the disciples (they saw *N(K)O*) a crowd great around them and scribes arguing (with *no*) (them. *N(k)O*)
Mme ya re ba goroga kwa tlase ga thaba, ba fitlhela bontsi jo bogolo jwa batho bo dikaganyeditse barutwa ba bangwe ba ba ferang bongwe, fa bangwe ba baeteledipele ba Sejuta ba ntse ba ganetsanya nabo.
15 And immediately all the crowd (having seen *N(k)O*) Him (they marvelled *N(k)O*) and running to [Him] they were greeting Him.
Mme bontsi jwa batho ba leba Jesu ka poifo fa a atamela kwa go bone, hong ba tabogela kwa go ene go mo dumedisa.
16 And He asked (those *N(k)O*) (scribes: *K*) What are you disputing with (them? *NK(O)*)
Mme a ba botsa a re, “Lo ganetsanya kaga eng?”
17 And (answered *N(k)O*) (Him *no*) one out of the crowd (said: *k*) Teacher, I brought the son of mine to You having a spirit mute.
Monna mongwe mo bontsing joo a bua a re, “Moruti, ke lerile morwaake mo go wena gore o mo fodise--ga a kgone go bua ka ntlha ya gore o tswenwe ke mowa o o maswe.
18 and whenever (if *N(k)O*) him it may grasp, it throws down him; and he foams and he gnashes his teeth (of him *k*) and is withering away. And I spoke to the disciples of You that it they may cast out, and not they had power.
Mme fa mowa o o maswe o mo laola o mo digela fa fatshe o mo dira gore a phoke mafulo ka molomo a phuranye meno a kwatlalale. Mme ka kopa barutwa ba gago gore ba kgoromeletse ntle mowa o o maswe mme ba retelelwa.”
19 And answering (to them *N(K)O*) He says; O generation unbelieving! Until when with you will I be? Until when will I bear with you? do bring him to Me.
Lereng mosimane kwa go nna.”
20 And they brought him to Him. And having seen Him the spirit immediately (threw into convulsions *N(k)O*) him, and having fallen upon the ground he was rolling around foaming.
Hong ba lere mosimane, mme erile fa a bona Jesu, mowa o o maswe wa mo kgothakgotha mo go botlhoko, mme a wela fa fatshe a bidikama a phoka mafulo ka molomo.
21 And He asked the father of him; How long a time is it that this has been with him? And he said; (From *no*) childhood.
Jesu a botsa rraagwe a re, “Go lobaka lo lo kae a ntse jaana?” Rraagwe a araba a re, “a le mmotlana,
22 And often both into (*o*) fire him it casts and into waters that it may destroy him; But if anything You are able [to do], do help us, having compassion on us.
mme gantsi mowa o o maswe o dira gore a wele mo molelong kgotsa mo teng ga metsi go mmolaya. Ao, re utlwele botlhoko, o dire sengwe fa go kgonega.”
23 And Jesus said to him; If You are able (to believe *K*) All things are possible to the [one] believing.
Jesu a botsa a re, “A wa re fa ke kgona? Sengwe le sengwe se a kgonega fa o na le tumelo.”
24 (and *ko*) Immediately having cried out the father of the child (with tears *K*) was saying; I believe (Lord; *K*) do help me with the unbelief!
Ka bofefo rraagwe a araba a re, “Ke na le tumelo; Nthusa o e nkokeletse.”
25 Having seen now Jesus that was running together a crowd, He rebuked the spirit unclean saying to it; O Mute and deaf (O *k*) spirit, I myself command you: do come out of him, and no more shall you enter into him.
Erile fa Jesu a bona gore bontsi jwa batho bo a gola, a kgalemela mowa o o maswe. A raya mowa o o maswe o o semumu le bosusu, a re, “Ke a go laola gore o tswe mo ngwaneng yo, o seka wa tlhola o tsena mo go ene gape!”
26 And (having cried out *N(k)O*) and much (throwing into convulsions *N(k)O*) (him *k*) it came out, and he became as if dead in order for (*no*) many to say that he was dead.
Hong mowa o o maswe wa goa mo go boitshegang wa kgothakgotha mosimanyana gape mme wa mo tlogela; a robala a sa tshikinyege a bonala jaaka moswi. Modumonyana wa utlwala mo bathung o re, “O sule.”
27 And Jesus having taken by the hand (him *N(k)O*) raised up him, and he arose.
Jesu a mo tshwara ka seatla a mo thusa gore a eme ka maoto, mme a ema a itekanetse!
28 And (when was entering He *N(k)O*) into a house the disciples of Him in private were asking Him; Why we ourselves not were able to cast out it?
Ya re morago ga moo Jesu a le esi mo tlung le barutwa ba gagwe, ba mmotsa ba re, “Ke ka ntlha yang fa re ne re sa kgone go kgoromeletsa ntle mowa o o maswe?”
29 And He said to them; This kind by no [thing] is able to go out only except by prayer (and with fastings. *KO*)
Jesu a araba a re, “Mofuta o o ntseng jaana o kgonwa ke thapelo fela.”
30 And from there And from there having gone forth (they were passing through *NK(o)*) through Galilee, and not was He wanting that anyone may know [it];
Ya re ba tloga mo kgaolong eo ba tsamaya ba ralala Galalea mo a neng a leka go tila batho gore a tle a nne le nako ya go nna le barutwa ba gagwe, go ba ruta. O ne a ba raya a re, “Nna, Mesia ke tla okiwa, ke bolawe mme morago ga malatsi a le mararo ke tlaa rula.”
31 He was teaching for the disciples of Him and He was saying to them that The Son of Man is delivered into [the] hands of men, and they will kill Him, and having been killed (on [the] third *N(k)O*) (day *NK(o)*) He will arise.
32 And they were not understanding the declaration and they were afraid Him to ask.
Lefa go ntse jalo, ba bo ba sa tlhaloganye, mme ba tshaba go mmotsa gore o rayang.
33 And (they came *N(K)O*) to Capernaum; And in the house having been He was asking them; What on the way (to yourselves *K*) were you discussing?
Mme ba goroga kwa Kaperanama. Ya re ba sena go nna fa fatshe mo tlung e ba neng ba tshwanetse go nna mo go yone a ba botsa a re, “Lo ne lo bua ka ga eng mo tseleng.”
34 And they were silent; with one another for they had been discussing along the road which [was] greatest.
Mme ba tlhajwa ke ditlhong go araba, gonne ba ne ba ganetsanya ka gore e mang mo go bone yo mogolo!
35 And having sat down He called the Twelve and He says to them; If anyone desires first to be, he will be of all last and of all servant.
A nna fa fatshe a ba bitsa a ba raya a re, “Mongwe yo o batlang go nna yo mogolo o tshwanetse go nna wa bofelo, motlhanka wa botlhe!”
36 And having taken a child He set it in midst of them, and having taken in [His] arms it He said to them;
Hong a baya ngwana mo gare ga bone; mme e rile a tsaya ngwana ka mabogo a gagwe a ba raya a re,
37 Who[ever] (maybe *N(k)O*) one of such little children shall receive in the name of Me, Me myself receives; and who[ever] (maybe *N(k)O*) Me myself (shall receive, *N(k)O*) not Me myself receives but the [One] having sent Me.
“Le fa e le mang yo o amogelang ngwana yo monnye jaana mo leineng la me o amogela nna, mme le fa e le mang yo o mo amogelang o amogela Rre yo o nthomileng!”
38 (was speaking *N(k)O*) (now *k*) to Him John; (saying *k*) Teacher, we saw someone (in *no*) the name of You casting out demons (who not follows to us *KO*) and (we were forbidding *N(k)O*) him because not (he was following *N(k)O*) us.
Mme mongwe wa barutwa ba gagwe, ebong Johane, ya re ka letsatsi lengwe a mo raya a re, “Moruti, re bone monna mongwe a dirisa leina la gago go kgoromeletsa mewa e e maswe kwa ntle; mme ra mo raya ra re a se ka a dira jalo, gonne ga se mongwe wa setlhopha sa rona.”
39 And Jesus said; Not do forbid him; No [one] for there is who will do a work of power in the name of Mine and will be able readily to speak evil of Me.
Jesu a ba raya a re, “Se mo itseng! gonne ga go ope yo o dirang dikgakgamatso ka leina la me yo o tla reng ka bofefo a nne kgatlhanong le nna.
40 Who[ever] for not is against (us *N(K)O*) for (us *N(K)O*) is.
Lefa e le mang yo o seng kgatlhanong le rona ke wa rona.
41 Who[ever] for maybe may give to drink you a cup of water in (the *k*) name (of me *k*) because of Christ’s you are, Amen I say to you (that *no*) certainly not (may lose *NK(o)*) the reward of him.
Fa mongwe a ka lo siela metse ka ntlha ya gore lo ba ga Keresete ka re ammaaruri ga a kitla a latlhegelwa ke tuelo ya gagwe.
42 And who[ever] (maybe *NK(o)*) shall cause to stumble one of the little ones these who are believing in Me myself, better it is for him rather if is put (a millstone heavy *N(k)O*) around the neck of him and he has been cast into the sea.
Mme fa mongwe a ka dira gore mongwe wa ba ba botlana ba yo o dumelang mo go nna a latlhegelwe ke tumelo--go ka nna botoka fa motho yoo a ka hunelelwa lolwala lo lo golo mo thamong a ya go thabuediwa mo lewatleng.
43 And if (shall cause to stumble *NK(o)*) you the hand of you, do cut off it; better it is (for you *N(k)O*) crippled to enter into life than two hands having to go away into hell into the fire unquenchable. (Geenna g1067)
“Fa seatla sa gago se leofa, se kgaole. Go botoka go tshelela ruri ka seatla se le sengwe go na le go latlhelwa mo molelong wa molete o o sa timeng ka diatla tse pedi! (Geenna g1067)
44 (where the worm of them not dies and fire not is quenched *KO*)
45 And if the foot of you shall cause to stumble you, do cut off it; better it is (for you *N(k)O*) to enter into life lame than the two feet having to be cast into hell (into fire unquenchable. *KO*) (Geenna g1067)
Fa lonao lwa gago lo go isa bosuleng lo kgaole! Go botoka go nna setlhotsa lobaka lo loleele, go na le go nna le dinao tse pedi tse di go isang moleting. (Geenna g1067)
46 (where the worm of them not dies and fire not is quenched. *KO*)
47 And if the eye of you shall cause to stumble you, do cast out it; better (for you *N(k)O*) it is with one eye to enter into the kingdom of God than two eyes having to be cast into the hell (of the fire *K*) (Geenna g1067)
“Mme fa leitlho la gago le go leofisa, le gonye. Go botoka go tsena mo Bogosingjwa Modimo o le mogapa, go na le go tsena ka matlho a mabedi mo moleting wa molelo, (Geenna g1067)
48 where the worm of them not dies and the fire not is quenched.’
49 Everyone for with fire will be salted (and all sacrifice with salt will be salted. *KO*)
kwa tsotlhe di lokwang ka molelo.
50 Good [is] the salt; if however the salt unsalty may become, with what it will you season? do have in yourselves (salt *N(k)O*) and do be at peace with one another.
“Letswai le le molemo, ga le na thuso fa le latlhegelwa ke molodi, ga le ka ke la loka sepe. Se latlhegelweng ke molodi wa lona! Nnang kagiso mo go ba bangwe.”
