Mark 6
1 And He went out from there and (came *N(k)O*) into the hometown of Him, and follow Him the disciples of Him.
et egressus inde abiit in patriam suam et sequebantur illum discipuli sui
2 And when was becoming [the] Sabbath He began to teach in the synagogue; and (*o*) many hearing were astonished saying; From where to this [man] these things, and what [is] the wisdom which having been given (to Him *N(k)O*) (for *k*) even (the *no*) miracles such through the hands of Him (are done? *N(k)O*)
et facto sabbato coepit in synagoga docere et multi audientes admirabantur in doctrina eius dicentes unde huic haec omnia et quae est sapientia quae data est illi et virtutes tales quae per manus eius efficiuntur
3 Surely this is the carpenter, the son (*no*) of Mary (and *no*) brother (now *k*) of James and of Joses and of Judas and of Simon? And surely are the sisters of Him here with us? And they were offended by Him.
nonne iste est faber filius Mariae frater Iacobi et Ioseph et Iudae et Simonis nonne et sorores eius hic nobiscum sunt et scandalizabantur in illo
4 (And *no*) was saying (now *k*) to them Jesus that Not is a prophet without honor only except in the hometown of him and among the relatives of him and in the household of him.
et dicebat eis Iesus quia non est propheta sine honore nisi in patria sua et in cognatione sua et in domo sua
5 And not He was able there to do not any work of power only except on a few sick having laid the hands He healed.
et non poterat ibi virtutem ullam facere nisi paucos infirmos inpositis manibus curavit
6 And (He was marveling *NK(o)*) because of the unbelief of them. And He was going the villages around teaching.
et mirabatur propter incredulitatem eorum
7 And He calls near the Twelve and He began them to send forth two [by] two and He was gaving to them authority over the spirits unclean
et circumibat castella in circuitu docens et convocavit duodecim et coepit eos mittere binos et dabat illis potestatem spirituum inmundorum
8 And He instructed to them that nothing they may take for [the] journey only except a staff alone, no bread nor bag nor in the belt money,
et praecepit eis ne quid tollerent in via nisi virgam tantum non peram non panem neque in zona aes
9 but having put on yourselves sandals, and not (may put on *NK(o)*) two tunics.
sed calciatos sandaliis et ne induerentur duabus tunicis
10 And He was saying to them; Wherever (maybe *NK(o)*) you shall enter into a house, there do remain until maybe you may go out from there.
et dicebat eis quocumque introieritis in domum illic manete donec exeatis inde
11 And (whatever *N(k)O*) maybe (place *no*) not (he may receive *N(k)O*) you nor may hear you, departing from there do shake off the dust which [is] under the feet of you for a testimony against them. (Amen I say to you more tolerable will be for Sodom or for Gomorrah in day of judgment than for the for city that [one]. *K*)
et quicumque non receperint vos nec audierint vos exeuntes inde excutite pulverem de pedibus vestris in testimonium illis
12 And having gone out (they proclaimed *N(k)O*) that (they may repent, *N(k)O*)
et exeuntes praedicabant ut paenitentiam agerent
13 And demons many they were casting out and were anointing with oil many sick and were healing [them].
et daemonia multa eiciebant et unguebant oleo multos aegrotos et sanabant
14 And heard King Herod; well known for became the name of Him. And (they were saying *N(k)O*) that John the [one] baptizing (he has been raised *N(k)O*) out from [the] dead and because of this operate the miraculous powers in him.
et audivit Herodes rex manifestum enim factum est nomen eius et dicebat quia Iohannes Baptista resurrexit a mortuis et propterea inoperantur virtutes in illo
15 Others (however *no*) were saying that Elijah He is; Others now were saying that A prophet (is or *K*) like one of the prophets.
alii autem dicebant quia Helias est alii vero dicebant propheta est quasi unus ex prophetis
16 Having heard now Herod (was saying *N(k)O*) (that: *k*) Whom I myself beheaded John — he ([it] is he himself *k*) is risen (from *ko*) (dead. *KO*)
quo audito Herodes ait quem ego decollavi Iohannem hic a mortuis resurrexit
17 Himself for Herod having sent he seized John and bound him in (*k*) prison on account of Herodias the wife of Philip the brother of him because her he had married;
ipse enim Herodes misit ac tenuit Iohannem et vinxit eum in carcere propter Herodiadem uxorem Philippi fratris sui quia duxerat eam
18 Were saying for John to Herod that Not it is lawful for you to have the wife of the brother of you.
dicebat enim Iohannes Herodi non licet tibi habere uxorem fratris tui
19 And Herodias was holding it against him and he was wishing him to kill and not he was able;
Herodias autem insidiabatur illi et volebat occidere eum nec poterat
20 for Herod was afraid of John knowing him [to be] a man righteous and holy and he was keeping safe him. And when having heard him much (he was perplexed *N(K)O*) and gladly him was hearing.
Herodes enim metuebat Iohannem sciens eum virum iustum et sanctum et custodiebat eum et audito eo multa faciebat et libenter eum audiebat
21 And when was coming [a] day opportune when Herod on the birthday of him a banquet (made *N(k)O*) for the great men of him and for the chief captains and for the leading [men] of Galilee
et cum dies oportunus accidisset Herodes natalis sui cenam fecit principibus et tribunis et primis Galilaeae
22 and when was entering the daughter (of him *N(K)O*) (*ko*) Herodias and when having danced (and *ko*) (she pleased *N(k)O*) Herod and those reclining with [him] said (now *o*) the king to the girl; do ask me whatever if you shall wish, and I will give to you.
cumque introisset filia ipsius Herodiadis et saltasset et placuisset Herodi simulque recumbentibus rex ait puellae pete a me quod vis et dabo tibi
23 And he swore to her (greatly *N*) whatever (thing *N(k)O*) if me you shall ask I will give you until half of the kingdom of mine.
et iuravit illi quia quicquid petieris dabo tibi licet dimidium regni mei
24 (And *no*) (now *k*) having gone out she said to the mother of her; What (shall I ask for myself? *N(k)O*) And she said; The head of John the [one] (baptizing. *N(k)O*)
quae cum exisset dixit matri suae quid petam et illa dixit caput Iohannis Baptistae
25 And having entered immediately with haste to the king she asked saying; I desire that at once may you give to me on a platter the head of John the Baptist.
cumque introisset statim cum festinatione ad regem petivit dicens volo ut protinus des mihi in disco caput Iohannis Baptistae
26 And encompassingly sorrowful having been made the king on account of the oaths and those (reclining with [him] *N(K)O*) not was he willing to refuse her.
et contristatus rex propter iusiurandum et propter simul recumbentes noluit eam contristare
27 And immediately having sent the king an executioner he commanded (to be brought *N(k)O*) the head of him. (*k*) (And *N(k)O*) having gone he beheaded him in the prison
sed misso speculatore praecepit adferri caput eius in disco et decollavit eum in carcere
28 and brought the head of him on a platter and gave it to the girl, and the girl gave it to the mother of her.
et adtulit caput eius in disco et dedit illud puellae et puella dedit matri suae
29 And having heard [it] the disciples of him came and they took up the body of him and laid it in (*k*) [a] tomb.
quo audito discipuli eius venerunt et tulerunt corpus eius et posuerunt illud in monumento
30 And are gathered together the apostles to Jesus and they related to him all things (and *k*) how much they had done and how much they had taught.
et convenientes apostoli ad Iesum renuntiaverunt illi omnia quae egerant et docuerant
31 And (He speaks *N(k)O*) to them; Come you yourselves yourselves apart [your] own to [a] solitary place and (do rest *N(k)O*) a little; Were for those coming and those going [are] many, and not even to eat were they able.
et ait illis venite seorsum in desertum locum et requiescite pusillum erant enim qui veniebant et rediebant multi et nec manducandi spatium habebant
32 And they went away (in *no*) the boat into [a] solitary place on [their] own.
et ascendentes in navi abierunt in desertum locum seorsum
33 And they saw them going (crowds *K*) and (recognized *NK(O)*) (him *k*) many and on foot from all the cities ran together there and went before them (and together went to him. *K*)
et viderunt eos abeuntes et cognoverunt multi et pedestre et de omnibus civitatibus concurrerunt illuc et praevenerunt eos
34 And having gone out He saw (Jesus *k*) a great crowd and was moved with compassion toward (them *N(k)O*) because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. And He began to teach them many things.
et exiens vidit multam turbam Iesus et misertus est super eos quia erant sicut oves non habentes pastorem et coepit docere illos multa
35 And already when the hour late being having come to Him the disciples of Him (were saying *N(k)O*) that Desolate is the place, and already [it is] an hour late;
et cum iam hora multa fieret accesserunt discipuli eius dicentes desertus est locus hic et iam hora praeterivit
36 do dismiss them that having gone to the surrounding region and villages they may buy for themselves something (loaves for *K*) may eat (not they have. *K*)
dimitte illos ut euntes in proximas villas et vicos emant sibi cibos quos manducent
37 But answering He said to them; do give to them you yourselves [something] to eat. And they say to Him; Having gone shall we buy denarii two hundred of bread and [then] (we will give *N(k)O*) them [it] to eat?
et respondens ait illis date illis manducare et dixerunt ei euntes emamus denariis ducentis panes et dabimus eis manducare
38 And He says to them; How many loaves have you do go (and *k*) do see. And having known they say; Five and two fish.
et dicit eis quot panes habetis ite et videte et cum cognovissent dicunt quinque et duos pisces
39 And He commanded them (to recline *NK(o)*) all groups [by] groups on the green grass.
et praecepit illis ut accumbere facerent omnes secundum contubernia super viride faenum
40 And they sat down groups [by] groups (by *N(k)O*) hundreds and (by *N(k)O*) fifties.
et discubuerunt in partes per centenos et per quinquagenos
41 And having taken the five loaves and the two fish, having looked up to the heaven He blessed and He broke the loaves and He was giving [them] to the disciples of Him that (they may set before *N(k)O*) them, And the two fish He divided among all.
et acceptis quinque panibus et duobus piscibus intuens in caelum benedixit et fregit panes et dedit discipulis suis ut ponerent ante eos et duos pisces divisit omnibus
42 And ate all and were satisfied,
et manducaverunt omnes et saturati sunt
43 And they took up (of fragments *N(k)O*) twelve (hand-baskets fullness *N(k)O*) and of the fish.
et sustulerunt reliquias fragmentorum duodecim cofinos plenos et de piscibus
44 And were those having eaten of the loaves (about *K*) five thousand men.
erant autem qui manducaverunt quinque milia virorum
45 And immediately He compelled the disciples of Him to climb into the boat and to go before to the other side to Bethsaida until He himself (dismisses *N(k)O*) the crowd.
et statim coegit discipulos suos ascendere navem ut praecederent eum trans fretum ad Bethsaidam dum ipse dimitteret populum
46 And having taken leave of them He departed into the mountain to pray.
et cum dimisisset eos abiit in montem orare
47 And when evening having come was the boat in [the] midst of the sea, and He himself alone upon the land.
et cum sero esset erat navis in medio mari et ipse solus in terra
48 And (seeing *N(k)O*) them straining in the rowing, was for the wind contrary to them, (and *k*) About [the] fourth watch of the night He comes to them walking on the sea and He was wishing to pass by them.
et videns eos laborantes in remigando erat enim ventus contrarius eis et circa quartam vigiliam noctis venit ad eos ambulans super mare et volebat praeterire eos
49 And having seen Him on the sea walking they thought (that *no*) a ghost ([it] is, *N(k)O*) and cried out;
at illi ut viderunt eum ambulantem super mare putaverunt fantasma esse et exclamaverunt
50 All for Him saw and were troubled. (*no*) (now *N(k)O*) immediately He spoke with them and says to them; Take courage! I myself am [He], not do fear.
omnes enim eum viderunt et conturbati sunt et statim locutus est cum eis et dixit illis confidite ego sum nolite timere
51 And He went up to them into the boat, and ceased the wind. And exceedingly over excessive in themselves they were amazed (and were marveling; *K*)
et ascendit ad illos in navem et cessavit ventus et plus magis intra se stupebant
52 not for they understood by the loaves, (but *N(K)O*) were of them the heart hardened.
non enim intellexerant de panibus erat enim cor illorum obcaecatum
53 And having passed over to the land they came (to *no*) Gennesaret and drew to shore.
et cum transfretassent pervenerunt in terram Gennesareth et adplicuerunt
54 And when were exiting they out of the boat immediately having recognized Him
cumque egressi essent de navi continuo cognoverunt eum
55 (they ran around *N(k)O*) all the (region *N(k)O*) that (and *no*) they began on the mats those sick being to carry about to wherever they were hearing that (there *ko*) He is.
et percurrentes universam regionem illam coeperunt in grabattis eos qui se male habebant circumferre ubi audiebant eum esse
56 And wherever maybe He was entering into villages or (into *no*) cities or (into *no*) fields in the marketplaces they were laying those ailing and were begging Him that only only of the fringe the clothing of Him they shall touch, and as many as maybe (touched *N(k)O*) Him were being healed.
et quocumque introibat in vicos vel in villas aut civitates in plateis ponebant infirmos et deprecabantur eum ut vel fimbriam vestimenti eius tangerent et quotquot tangebant eum salvi fiebant
