Malachi 3
1 Here I [am] about to send messenger my and he will make clear a way before me and suddenly he will come to temple his the lord - whom you [are] seeking and [the] messenger of the covenant whom you [are] delighting there! [he is] about to come he says Yahweh of hosts.
Na rĩrĩ, Jehova Mwene-Hinya-Wothe ekuuga atĩrĩ, “Nĩngũtũma mũtũmwo wakwa, ũrĩa ũgaathondeka njĩra mbere yakwa. Hĩndĩ ĩyo Mwathani ũcio mũcaragia nĩagooka o rĩmwe thĩinĩ wa hekarũ yake; mũtũmwo ũcio wa kĩrĩkanĩro ũrĩa mwĩriragĩria nĩagooka.”
2 And who? [will] endure [the] day of coming he and who? [is] the [one who will] stand when appears he for he [is] like [the] fire of a refiner and like [the] soap of washers.
No nũũ ũgetiiria mũthenya wa gũũka gwake? Nũũ ũkomĩrĩria rĩrĩa akooneka? Nĩgũkorwo akahaana ta mwaki wa mũturi ũrĩa ũtheragia cuuma, kana thabuni ũrĩa ũtheragia nguo.
3 And he will sit [one who] refines and [one who] purifies silver and he will purify [the] descendants of Levi and he will refine them like gold and like silver and they will be to Yahweh bringing near an offering in righteousness.
Agaikara thĩ ta mũturi wa betha na mũtheria wacio; nĩagatheria Alawii, amatherie ta ũrĩa thahabu na betha itheragio. Hĩndĩ ĩyo Jehova nĩagakorwo na andũ arĩa makamũrehere maruta ma ũthingu;
4 And it will be pleasing to Yahweh [the] offering of Judah and Jerusalem like [the] days of antiquity and like years former.
namo maruta ma Juda na Jerusalemu nĩmagetĩkĩrĩka nĩ Jehova, o ta matukũ marĩa mathirĩte, o na ta mĩaka ĩrĩa ya mbere.
5 And I will draw near to you for judgment and I will be - a witness hastening on the sorcerers and on the adulterers and on [those who] swear an oath to falsehood and on [those who] defraud [the] hire of a hired laborer a widow and a fatherless one and [those who] thrust aside a sojourner and not they fear me he says Yahweh of hosts.
“Nĩ ũndũ ũcio nĩngamũkuhĩrĩria ndĩmũciirithie na ndĩmũtuĩre. Nĩngahiũha gũtuĩka mũira wa gũtuĩra ciira arogi, na itharia, na arĩa mehĩtaga na maheeni, na njũkĩrĩre arĩa matunyaga aruti wĩra mĩcaara yao, na arĩa mahinyagĩrĩria atumia a ndigwa na ciana iria itarĩ maithe, na arĩa maagithagia ageni kĩhooto na makaaga kwĩĩndigĩra,” ũguo nĩguo Jehova Mwene-Hinya-Wothe ekuuga.
6 That I Yahweh not I change and you [the] descendants of Jacob not you have come to an end.
“Niĩ Jehova ndigarũrũkaga. Nĩ ũndũ ũcio, inyuĩ njiaro cia Jakubu nĩkĩo mũtarĩ mwaniinwo.
7 From [the] days of ancestors your you have turned aside from statutes my and not you have kept [them] return to me so let me return to you he says Yahweh of hosts and you say how? will we return.
O na kuuma hĩndĩ ya maithe manyu-rĩ, mũtũire mũtiganĩirie irĩra ciakwa cia kũrũmĩrĩrwo na mũkaaga gũcirũmia. Njookererai na niĩ nĩngũmũcookerera.” Ũguo nĩguo Jehova Mwene-Hinya-Wothe ekuuga. “No mũũragia atĩrĩ, ‘Tũgũgũcookerera atĩa?’
8 ¿ Will he rob someone God for you [are] robbing me and you say how? have we robbed you the tithe and the contribution.
“Mũndũ-rĩ, aahota gũtunya Ngai indo ciake? No inyuĩ nĩmũndunyĩte indo ciakwa. “No mũũragia atĩrĩ, ‘Nĩ kĩĩ tũgũtunyĩte?’ “Mũnduunyĩte maruta na icunjĩ cia ikũmi.
9 With curse you [are] cursed and me you [are] robbing the nation all of it.
Rũrĩrĩ rwanyu ruothe rũgwatĩtwo nĩ kĩrumi, tondũ nĩmũndunyaga indo ciakwa.
10 Bring all the tithe into [the] house of the store so it may be food in house my and test me please by this he says Yahweh of hosts if not I will open for you [the] windows of the heavens and I will pour out for you blessing until not sufficiency.
Jehova Mwene-Hinya-Wothe ekuuga atĩrĩ, rehei gĩcunjĩ gĩa ikũmi gĩothe thĩinĩ wa ikũmbĩ, nĩgeetha nyũmba yakwa ĩkoragwo na irio. Ngeriai na njĩra ĩno muone kana ndikũmũhingũrĩra ndirica cia igũrũ, ndĩmuurĩrie irathimo nyingĩ mũno nginya mwage handũ ingĩiganĩra.
11 And I will rebuke for you the devourer and not it will destroy of you [the] fruit of the ground and not it will prove barren of you the vine in the field he says Yahweh of hosts.
Ningĩ nĩngagiria cianangi ithũkie irio cia mĩgũnda yanyu, nayo mĩthabibũ ya mĩgũnda yanyu ndĩgaacooka gũita maciaro mayo matarĩ makũrũ.” Ũguo nĩguo Jehova Mwene-Hinya-Wothe ekuuga.
12 And they will call blessed you all the nations for you will be you a land of delight he says Yahweh of hosts.
Jehova Mwene-Hinya-Wothe ekuuga atĩrĩ, “Ndũrĩrĩ ciothe nĩikamwĩtaga andũ arathime, nĩgũkorwo bũrũri wanyu ũgaakorwo ũrĩ wa gĩkeno.”
13 They have been strong on me words your he says Yahweh and you say what? have we spoken together on you.
Jehova ekuuga atĩrĩ, “Nĩmwarĩtie maũndũ mooru ma kũnjambia. “No mũũragia atĩrĩ, ‘Tũgũcambĩtie atĩa?’
14 You have said [is] futility to serve God and what? [is the] profit that we have kept charge his and that we have walked mournfully from before Yahweh of hosts.
“Inyuĩ muugĩte atĩrĩ, ‘Gũtungatĩra Ngai nĩ ũndũ wa tũhũ. Nĩ uumithio ũrĩkũ tuonire nĩkũhingia kwenda gwake, na gũthiiaga mbere ya Jehova Mwene-Hinya-Wothe ta andũ maracakaya?
15 And therefore we [are] calling blessed arrogant [people] both they have been built up [those who] do wickedness as well as they have tested God and they have escaped.
No rĩrĩ, andũ etĩĩi nĩo twĩtaga arathime. Ti-itherũ arĩa aaganu nĩo magaacagĩra, na arĩa makararagia Ngai matiherithagio.’”
16 Then they spoke together [those] fearing Yahweh each with neighbor his and he paid attention Yahweh and he listened and it was written a document of remembrance before him of [those] fearing Yahweh and of [those who] esteemed name his.
Nao arĩa meetigĩrĩte Jehova nĩmaranĩirie o mũndũ na ũrĩa ũngĩ, nake Jehova agĩthikĩrĩria na akĩigua ũhoro ũcio. Ibuku rĩa kĩririkano nĩrĩandĩkirwo ũhoro wa andũ acio metigĩrĩte Jehova na magatĩĩa rĩĩtwa rĩake, rĩkĩigwo hau mbere yake.
17 And they will belong to me he says Yahweh of hosts to the day when I [will be] making a possession and I will have compassion on them just as he has compassion everyone on son his who serves him.
Jehova Mwene-Hinya-Wothe ekuuga atĩrĩ, “Acio nĩo magaatuĩka andũ akwa mũthenya ũrĩa ngaacookereria indo ciakwa cia bata. Nĩngamaiguĩra tha, o ta ũrĩa mũndũ aiguagĩra mũriũ tha ũrĩa ũmũtungatagĩra.
18 And you will return and you will see between a righteous [person] and a wicked [person] between [one who] serves God and [one] who not he serves him.
Na inyuĩ nĩmũkona rĩngĩ ngũũrani gatagatĩ ka arĩa athingu na arĩa aaganu, na gatagatĩ ka arĩa matungatagĩra Ngai na arĩa matamũtungatagĩra.
