Malachi 2

1 And now [is] to you the commandment this O priests.

“Mi nunɔlawo, miɖo to ne miase sedede sia si tso Yehowa, gbɔ.

2 If not you will listen and if not you will put on heart to give honor to name my he says Yahweh of hosts and I will send on you the curse and I will curse blessings your and also I have cursed it for not you [are] putting on heart.

Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la be, ‘Ne mietrɔ tso miaƒe mɔ vɔ̃wo dzi hede bubu ŋunye o la, maƒo fi ade mi, eye mana be miaƒe yayrawo nazu fiƒode. Le nyateƒe me la, meƒo ƒi de mi xoxo elabena mieɖo ta me be yewoade bubu ŋunye o.’

3 Here I [am] about to rebuke of you the offspring and I will spread dung on faces your [the] dung of festivals your and someone will carry away you with it.

“‘Kpɔ ɖa, le miawo ta la, maka ŋkume na miaƒe dzidzimeviwo, eye matsɔ lã siwo mietsɔ vɛ nam la ƒe afɔdzi ahlẽ ɖe mo na mi, eye matsɔ mi aƒu gbe ɖe aɖukpo dzi.

4 And you will know that I have sent to you the commandment this to be covenant my with Levi he says Yahweh of hosts.

Ekema mlɔeba la, mianyae be nyee xlɔ̃ nu mi be miatrɔ ɖe nubabla si mewɔ kple mia fofo, Levi la ŋuti.’” Yehowa Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ lae gblɔe.

5 Covenant my - it was with him life and well-being and I gave them to him fear and he feared me and because of name my he was in awe he.

“Nye nubabla sia ƒe taɖodzinue nye be wòanye agbe kple ŋutifafa nɛ eye metsɔ vɔvɔ̃ de asi nɛ, evɔ̃m eye nye ŋkɔ do ŋɔdzi nɛ.

6 Instruction of truth it was in mouth his and unrighteousness not it was found on lips his in peace and in uprightness he walked with me and many [people] he turned away from iniquity.

Nyateƒe ƒe se le nu me nɛ, eye alakpa aɖeke mele eƒe nuyiwo nu o. Ezɔ kplim le ŋutifafa kple dzɔdzɔenyenye me, eye wòna ame geɖewo trɔ tso woƒe nu vɔ̃wo me.

7 For [the] lips of a priest they will preserve knowledge and instruction people will seek from mouth his for [is] [the] messenger of Yahweh of hosts he.

“Ele be Mawu ƒe nya kple nunya nado go tso nunɔla nu ɣe sia ɣi ale be amewo nasrɔ̃ Yehowa ƒe sewo tso egbɔ, elabena nunɔlae nye Yehowa Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la ƒe dɔla, eye wòle be amewo nava egbɔ hena nuxɔxlɔ̃ kple afɔɖoƒefiafia wo.

8 And you you have turned aside from the way you have caused to stumble many [people] by the instruction you have corrupted [the] covenant of Levi he says Yahweh of hosts.

Ke esia mele mia gbɔ o elabena miawo mietra tso Yehowa ƒe mɔ dzi. Miekplɔ amewo to mɔtatra dzi, to miaƒe nufiafia me eye wodze nu vɔ̃ me. Mietɔtɔ Levi ƒe nubabla la, hewɔe wòzu nu tsɛ aɖe ko.” Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ lae gblɔe.

9 And also I I have made you despised and lowly to all the people according to [the] mouth of that not you [are] keeping ways my and [you are] lifting up faces in instruction.

“Esia ta nye hã meɖi gbɔ̃ mi le amewo ƒe ŋkume elabena mieɖo tom o eye miekpɔ ame ŋkume le seawo ŋu dɔ wɔwɔ me.”

10 ¿ Not [does] a father one [belong] to all of us ¿ not God one did he create us why? do we deal treacherously each with brother his to profane [the] covenant of ancestors our.

Ɖe menye fofo ɖeka ƒe viwoe míenye oa? Eye ɖe menye Mawu ɖekae wɔ mí katã oa? Ekema nu ka ta míewɔa nu tovowo ɖe mía nɔewo ŋuti, eye míetua mía fofowo ƒe nubabla la?

11 It has acted treacherously Judah and an abomination it has been done in Israel and in Jerusalem for - it has profaned Judah [the] sanctuary of Yahweh which he loves and it has married a daughter of a god of foreignness.

Ŋunyɔnuwɔwɔ xɔ aƒe ɖe Yuda, Israel kple Yerusalem eye Yuda ŋutsuwo do gu Yehowa ƒe gbedoxɔ kɔkɔe si gbɔ melɔ̃a nu le o la elabena woɖe nyɔnu siwo subɔa mawu bubuwo.

12 May he cut off Yahweh the person who he does it a protector and [one who] answers from [the] tents of Jacob and [one who] brings near an offering to Yahweh of hosts.

Yehowa netsrɔ̃ ame sia ame si awɔ nu sia la ɖa tso Yakob ƒe ƒomea me, eɖanye nunɔla loo alo hamevi, togbɔ be wòtsɔa vɔsa dona ɖe Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la ƒe ŋkume gɔ̃ hã.

13 And this second [thing] you do to cover tear[s] [the] altar of Yahweh weeping and groaning from not still turning to the offering and to take pleasure from hand your.

Nu bubu si miegawɔe nye be, mietsɔ aɖatsi, avifafa kple hũɖeɖe tsɔ tsyɔ Yehowa ƒe vɔsamlekpui dzi elabena megatsɔa ɖeke le miaƒe vɔsasa me o, eye megayraa mi hã o.

14 And you say concerning what? on for Yahweh he has testified between you and between - [the] wife of youth your whom you you have dealt treacherously with her and she [was] companion your and [the] wife of covenant your.

Miefa avi bia Yehowa be: “Mawu, nu ka tae nègblẽ mí ɖi?” Magblɔ nu si ta wògble mi ɖi la na mi; Yehowa kpɔ ale si miewɔ tamesesẽ hegbe miaƒe ɖekakpuimesrɔ̃ siwo nɔ anyi kpli mi le nyateƒetoto me ƒe geɖe lae. Evɔ mieɖe adzɔgbe be miakpɔ wo dzi, eye miagblẽ wo ɖi ɣe aɖeke ɣi akpɔ o.

15 And not one he made and a remnant of spirit to him and what? [was] the one seeking offspring of God and you will take heed in spirit your and with [the] wife of youth your may not anyone deal treacherously.

Yehowae bla mi kple mia srɔ̃wo ɖekae, le Mawu ƒe nunya ƒe ɖoɖo nu, esi mieɖe mia nɔewo la, mi ame eve la miezu ŋutilã ɖeka le eƒe ŋkume eye nu ka wòdi tso mia si be miawɔ? Mawu di vi ɖotowo tso miaƒe srɔ̃ɖeɖe la me eya ta milé be na mia ɖokui, miaɖu miaƒe fieŋufieŋuwo dzi! Miku ɖe miaƒe ɖekakpuimesrɔ̃ siwo mieɖe la ŋu eye miato nyateƒe na wo.

16 For he hates sending away he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel and he will cover violence over clothing his he says Yahweh of hosts and you will take heed in spirit your and not you must act treacherously.

“Yehowa, Israel ƒe Mawu la gblɔ be yetsri srɔ̃gbegbe kple ŋutsu ŋutasẽla vɔ̃ɖiwo. Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ lae gblɔe.” Eya ta miɖu mia ɖokuiwo dzi ne miadzudzɔ srɔ̃gbegbe.

17 You have wearied Yahweh with words your and you say how? did we weary [him] by saying you every [one who] does evil [is] good - in [the] eyes of Yahweh and in them he he delights or where? [is] [the] God of justice.

Mietsɔ miaƒe nya kukluiwo do dziku na Yehowa. Gake miebua biae be, “Aleke míedo dziku na wòe?” Miedo dziku nɛ elabena miegblɔ be, “Nuvɔ̃wɔla ɖe sia ɖe nye ame nyui le Yehowa ŋkume eye woawo gɔ̃ hã ƒe nue nyoa eŋu” Miebia be, “Afi ka Mawu, ʋɔnudrɔ̃la la le?”
