Agus gidh bé ar bidh teach an a rachtáoi a sdeach, gur ab ann sin fhanfáoi, agus gur ab as rachtái amach.
5 And as many as (maybe *NK(o)*) not (shall receive *N(k)O*) you, going forth from the city that (and *k*) the dust from the feet of you (do shake off *N(k)O*) as a testimony against them.

7 Heard of now Herod the Tetrarch the [things] being done (by him *K*) all and was perplexed because of the saying by some that John (has been raised *N(k)O*) out from [the] dead,
Agus do chúaluidh Iórnáith an Tetraren gach uile ní dá ndeamuidh seision: agus do bhí sé a namharus, do brigh go ndubhradar dáoine áirighe, gur éirigh Eóin ó mharbhuidh;
8 by some also that Elijah had appeared, by others also that a prophet (someone *N(k)O*) of the ancients had arisen.
Agus dáoine eile, Gur fhoillsigh Elias é féin; agus dáoine eile, Gur eirséirigh faigh éigin do na seanfháighibh.
9 (and *k*) Said (then *no*) (*ko*) Herod; John I myself beheaded; who however is this concerning whom (I myself *ko*) I hear such things? And he was seeking to see Him.
Agus a dabhairt Iorúaith, Do bhean misi a cheann Deóin: agus cia hé so, ar a gcluinim a leithéde so? Agus diarr sé eision dfaicsin.
10 And having returned the apostles related to Him as much as they had done. And having taken them He withdrew by in private into (place solitary *K*) (a town being called *N(k)O*) Bethsaida.
Achd ar bhfilleadh do na habsdalnibh, dinnseadar dhósan gach ní dhá ndearnadar. Agus ar na mbreith leis do, do chuáidh sé fá Leith ar fhásach na ciathreacha dá ngoirthear Betsáida.
11 The now crowds having known [it] they followed Him. and (having received *N(k)O*) them He was speaking to them concerning the kingdom of God, and those need having of healing He was healing.
Agus an tan, do aithin an pubal sin, do leanadar é: agus ar na ngabháil chuige dhó, do labhair sé ria a dtimcheall rioghachda Dé, agus do shlánaigh sé an chuid díobh ar a raibh úireasbhuide leigbis.
12 And the day began to decline. having come then the Twelve said to Him; do dismiss the crowd that (having travelled *N(k)O*) into the surrounding villages and (*ko*) countryside they may lodge and they may find provisions; for here in a desolate place we are.
Agus do bhí an lá ag dol thárrsa, agus trangadar an dá fhear dhég chuigesion, agus a dubhradar ris, Léigh uáit an slúagh, ionnus go numéochaidis fa na bailtibh agus fan tír do leathnughadh, agus go ccomhnuidhid, agus dfaigháil bídh: óir a tamáoid ann so a náit fhásamhuil.
13 He said now to them; do give to them you yourselves to eat. But they said; Not there are to us more than loaves five and fish two, except surely even having gone we ourselves shall buy for all people this food.
Achd a dubhairt seision riú, Tabhruidhsi ní lé na ithe dhóibh. Agus a dubhradarsan, Ní bhfuil ní is mó aguinn ná cúig aráin agus dá iásglachsd mona dteímis do cheannach bidh don phobal so nile.
14 They were for about men five thousand. He said then to the disciples of Him; do make sit down them groups (of about *NO*) in fifty.
Oír do bhádar a dtimcheall chuig míle fear. Achd a dubhairt seisión ré na dheisciobluibh, Cuiridh na suidhe iád na gcaogadaibh.
15 And they did so and (he sat *N(K)O*) all.
Agus do rinneadarsan amhlaidh, agus do chuireadar na suidhe iád nile.
16 Having taken then the five loaves and the two fish, having looked up to the heaven He blessed them and broke [them] and He was giving [them] to the disciples (to set *N(k)O*) before the crowd.
Agus ar ngabháil na gcúig narán agus an dá iásgdhósan, agus ar bhféachain sias ar neamh, do bheannuigh sé iád, agus do bhris sé, agus tug sé dhá dheisciobluibh iád do chum go gcuirfidís a bhfiadhnuisi an phubail iád.
17 And they ate and were satisfied all, and was taken up that having been a surplus to them of fragments hand-baskets twelve.
Agus a dithadar, agus do sasaigheadh iad uile: agus do tógbhadh dhá chlíabh dhég do bhíadh bhrisde do bhí dfhuighioll aca.
18 And it came to pass as happening He is praying in solitary were with Him the disciples, and He questioned them saying; Whom Me do pronounce the crowds to be?
Agus tárla, an tan do bhí sé na áonar ag déanamh urnuighe, go rabbadar a dheisciobuil na fhochair: agus gur fhíafruidh sé dhíobh, ag rádh, Créd a deir an slúagh cía misi?
19 And answering they said; John the Baptist, others also Elijah, others now that a prophet one of the ancients has arisen.
Agus do fhreagradarsan agus a dubhradar, Eóin Baisde; agus cuid eile, Elías; agus cuid eile, gur éighe fáigh éigin do na seanfháighibh a rís.
20 He said then to them; You yourselves however whom Me do pronounce to be? (*k*) Peter then answering said; The Christ of God.
Agus a dubhairt seision riú, Achd cred a deárthaoisi cía mé? agus ar bhfreagra do Pheadar a dubharit sé, Criosd Dé.
21 And having strictly warned to them He instructed [them] to no one (to tell *N(k)O*) this
Agus ar ndeanamh bagiar orrtha dhó, do aithin sé íad gan so dinnisin do dhuine ar bith;
22 having said that It is necessary for the Son of Man many things to suffer and to be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes and to be killed and on the third day (to be raised. *NK(o)*)
Ag rádh, Gur ab éigin do Mhac an duine mórán dfulang, agus a dhinltadh ó na sinnsearnibh agus ó úachdaránnibh na sagart agus ó na sgriobuidgibh, agus bás dfulang, agus éirghe an tres lá.
23 He was saying then to all; If anyone desires after Me (to come, he should deny *N(k)O*) himself and he should take up the cross of him every day and he should follow Me.
Agus a dubhairt sé riá uile, Madh áill ré héinneach misi do leanmhuin, díultadh sé dho féin, agus toghbadh sé a chros gach láoi agus leamadh sé misi.
24 Who[ever] for (maybe *NK(o)*) shall desire the life of him to save, will lose it; who[ever] however maybe may lose the life of him on account of me, he will save it.
Oír gidh bé lér ab aill an anam do shlánaghadh caillfidh sé é: agus gidh be chaillfeas a anam ar mo shousa, a sé so shláineochas é.
25 What for is profited a man having gained the world whole himself now having destroyed or having suffered the loss of?
Oír créd a tharbha do dhuine, dá ngnoghuigheadh sé an domhan uile, agus go gcaillfeadh sé, nó go léigfeadh sé a mugba é féin?
26 Who[ever] for maybe may have been ashamed of Me and My words, him the Son of Man will be ashamed of when He may come in the glory of Himself and of the Father and of the holy angels.
Oír gidh bé le budh nár misi agus mo bhriathra, budh nár le Mac an duine eision, an tráth thiocfas sé ann a ghloír fein, agus Athar, agus na naingeal náomhtha.
27 I say now to you truthfully there are some of those (there *N(k)O*) already standing who certainly not (may taste *N(k)O*) of death until maybe they may have seen the kingdom of God.
Agus a déirim ribh go firianeach, Go bhfuilid cuid don mhuintir ata á láthair ann so, nach blaisfidh bás, nó go bhfaicfid rioghachd Dé.
28 It came to pass now after sayings these about days eight, and having taken (*k*) Peter and John and James He went up on the mountain to pray.
Agus tárla a dtimcheall ochd lá tar éis na mbriatharsa, ar mbeith Pheadair agus Eóin agus Shéamuis leis, go ndeachaidh sé súas ar shlíabh do dhéanadh urnuighe.
29 And it came to pass during praying by Him the appearance of the face of Him [was] altered, and the clothing of Him white became dazzling.
Agus tárla ag deanamh urnuighe dhó, gur hathruigheadh fioghair a aighthe, agus go ndearnadh a éadach geal dealruigheach.
30 And behold men two were talking with Him who were Moses and Elijah;
Agus, féuch, do bhádar días fear ag comhrádh ris, mar atá Máoisi agus Elías:
31 Those having appeared in glory were speaking of the going out of Him which He was soon to accomplish in Jerusalem.
Noch do chomcas a nglóir, agus dfoillsigh an bás, do fhuilcongadh sé a Niarusalem.
32 And Peter and those with him were wearied with sleep. having awoken fully then they saw the glory of Him and the two men who already standing with Him.
Agus do bhí codladh trom ar Pheadar agus ar a ndroing do bhí na fharradh, agus an tan do dhuisgeadar, do channcadar a ghloírsion, agus an dias fear do bhí na seasamh na fhochair.
33 And it came to pass in the departing of them from Him said Peter to Jesus; Master, good it is for us here to be, also let us make tabernacles three, one for You and one for Moses and one for Elijah; not knowing what he is saying.
Agus tárlá, agá fhagbháil doibh, go ndubhairt Peadar réllíosa, A Mhaighisdir, is maith sinne do bheith ann so: agus déanam trí botha; both dhuitsi, agus both do Mháoisi, agus both Dhelías: gan fios aige créd a dubhairt sé.
34 These things then when he is saying came a cloud and (was overshadowing *N(k)O*) them. they feared then in the entering (of them *N(k)O*) into the cloud.
Agus an tan a dubhairt sé só, táinic néull, agus do theilg sé agáile orrtha: agus do ghabh eagla iásdsan an tan do chuádar ann sa néull.
35 And a voice came out of the cloud saying; This is the Son of Mine the (chosen, *N(K)O*) to Him do listen.
Agus táinic gith as a néull, ag rádh, Ag so mo Mhac gradhachsa: éisdigh ris.
36 And as happening the voice was found (*k*) Jesus alone. And they themselves were silent and to no [one] they told in those the days no [thing] of what they have seen.
Agus ar teachd don ghuthsin, do fríoth Iósa na áonar. Agus do bhadarsan na dtochd, agus nior innisiodar dáonduine ann sna laéthibhsin ní ar bith dhá bhfacadar.
37 It came to pass then (in *ko*) the next day when were descending they from the mountain met with Him a crowd great.
Agus tárla, an lá na dhiáighsin, ar ndul síos don tslíabh dhóibh, do dtárla slúagh mór airsion.
38 And behold a man from the crowd (cried *N(k)O*) saying; Teacher, I implore You (to look *N(k)O*) upon the son of mine for an only child to me he is;
Agus, féuch, do éigh neach don tslúagh, ag rádh, A Mhaighisdir, iárruim ort, feuch ar mo mhac: oír a sé méinghein é.
39 And behold a spirit takes him and suddenly he cries out and it throws into convulsions him with foaming and (with difficulty *NK(o)*) it departs from him bruising him.
Agus, féuch, beirídh an spiorad air, agus éimhigh sé go hobann; agus tairrngidh sé as a cheile é ag cur cubhair amach, agus is ar éigin fhágfas sé é tar éis a chomhmbrúghadh.
40 And I begged the disciples of You that (they may cast out *N(k)O*) it, and not they were able.
Agus diárr mé ar do dheiscioblaibhsi a chur as; achd níor fhéadadar.
41 Answering now Jesus said, O generation unbelieving and perverted, until when will I be with you and I will bear with you? do bring here the son of you.
Agus ar bhfreaga Díosa a dubhairt sé, A chineadh míchreidmheach cláon, ga fad fós bhiás mé eadruibh, agus fhuileongas mé sibh? Tabhair do mhác leachd an so.
42 While then when is coming near he threw down him the demon and threw [him] into convulsions. Rebuked then Jesus the spirit unclean and healed the boy and gave back him to the father of him.
Agus ad teachd chuige dhó, do bhúail an deamhan síos é, agus do tharruing sé as a cheile é. Achd do imdhearg Iósa an spiorad neamhglan, agus do leighis sé an leanabh, agus thug sé dhá athair fein é.
43 Were astonished then all at the majesty of God. Of all however wondering at all which (was doing *N(k)O*) (*k*) (Jesus *K*) He said to the disciples of Him;
Achd do ghabh úathbhás cách uile trí mhórchumhachd Dé. Agus ar mbeith ag déanamh iongantus doibh uile ann gach uile ní da ndearnuidh Iósa, a dubhairt sé ré na dheiscioblaibh,
44 do implant in yourself you yourselves into the ears of you words these; for the Son of Man is soon to be betrayed into [the] hands of men.
Taisgidh na bríathrasa ann bhur gcluasaibh: óir tiofuidh chum chríche go dtiobharthar Mac an duine a lámhuibh na ndaóine.
45 But they were not understanding declaration this, and it was veiled from them that not they may understand it. And they were afraid to ask Him concerning declaration this.
Achd níor thuigeadarsan an comhrádhsa, agus do bhí sé ar na fholach úatha, ionnas nar airigheadar é: agus do bhí eagla orrtha ceisd do chur airsion a dtimcheall an chomhráidh sin.
46 Came up then an argument among them this who maybe would be greater of them.
Agus déirigh diospóireachd eatarra, cía dhíobh féin budh mhó.
47 But Jesus (knowing *N(k)O*) the reasoning of the heart of them, having taken hold of (a child *N(k)O*) set it by Himself
Agus ar bhfaicsin smuaintighe a gcroidhe, Díosa, do ghabh se leanabh chuige, agus chuir sé na aice féin é.
48 and He said to them; Who[ever] (maybe *NK(o)*) shall receive this child in the name of Me, Me myself receives; and who[ever] (maybe *N(k)O*) Me myself shall receive, receives the [One] having sent Me. The [one] for least among all you being he (is *N(k)O*) great.
Agus a dubhairt sé riú, Gidh bé ghéubhas chuige an leanabh so a mainmsi is misi ghabhas se chuige: agus gidh bé ghéubhas misi chuige, gabhuidh sé chuige an té do chuir uádh mé: óir gidh bé is lugha eadruibhsi uile, bíaidh se mór.
49 Answering now (*k*) John said; Master, we saw someone (in *N(k)O*) the name of You casting out demons and (we were forbidding *N(k)O*) him because not he follows with us.
Agus ar bhfreagra Déoin a dubhairt sé, A Mhaighisdir, do chunncamairne duine áirighe ag teilgean deamhan a mach ad ainuisi; agus do thoirmeasgamar é, ar son nach leananu sé dhínne.
50 (and *k*) Said (then *no*) to him Jesus; Not do forbid; who[ever] for not is against (you *N(K)O*) for (you *N(K)O*) is.
Agus a dubhairt Iósa ríu, Ná toirmeasuidh é: oir gidh bé nach bhfuil ar naghuidh atá sé linn.
51 It came to pass then in the completing the days of the ascension of Him that He himself the face (of him *ko*) steadfastly set to go to Jerusalem.
Agus tárla, an tan do coímhliónadh laéthe a nglacfaidh súas é, gur chuir sé roimhe go daingion dul go Hiárusaléim.
52 And He sent messengers before [the] face of Him. And having gone they entered into a village of the Samaritans (so as *N(k)O*) to make ready for Him.
Agus do chuir sé teachdairighe róimhe: agus ar nimtheachd dóibh, do chúadara sdeach a mbaile na Samáritánach, do chum go ndéanaidís ullmhaghadh roimhesion.
53 And not they did receive Him because the face of Him was [as] going toward Jerusalem.
Achd niór ghabhadársan chuca é, ar son go raibh a agháidh mar bhiagh sé dul go Hiarusalém.
54 Having seen [it] now the disciples (of him *ko*) James and John said; Lord, do you want [that] we may call fire to come down from heaven and to consume them (as and Elijah did? *K*)
Agus an tráth do chuncadar a dheisciobuilsion Séumas agus Eóin so, a dubhradar, A Thighearna, a naill leachd go nabramáois teine do theachd a núas ó neamh, dá losadh síad, mar do rinne Elías leis?
55 Having turned then He rebuked them (and said not you know such as spirit are you yourselves. *K*)
Agus ar gcasadh dhó, do imdhearg sé iad, agus a duibhairt sé, Ní bhfuíl a fhios aguibh créd é an spiorad dár dhe sibh.
56 (for the son of man not came souls of men to destroy but to save. *K*) and they went to another village.
Oír ní thaínic Mac an duine do sgríos anmann na ndáoine, achd dá slánughadh. Agus do chúadar as sin go bhaile eile.
57 (And *no*) (it came to pass *KO*) (now *k*) when are going they along the road said someone to Him; I will follow You wherever (maybe *N(k)O*) You shall go (Lord. *K*)
Agus tárla, ar nimtheachd dóibh san tslíghe, go ndúbhairt neach áirighe rision, Leanfuidh misi thú gidh bé háit ann a racha tú, a Thighearna.
58 And said to him Jesus; The foxes holes have, and the birds of the air nests; but the Son of Man not has where the head He may lay.
Agus a dubhairt Iósa ris, Ataíd fúachaisighe ag na sionnchaibh, agus neíd ag éanlaith a naiéir; achd ní bhfuil áit ag Mac an duine ann a gcurfeadh sé a cheann.
59 He said then to another; do follow Me. But he said; Lord do allow me having gone away first to bury the father of mine.
Agus a dubhairt sé ré neach eile, Leansa misi, Achd a dubhairt seision, A Thighearna, leigh dhamh imtheachd ar túís agus mathair daghlacadh.
60 He said then to him (*k*) (Jesus: *K*) do leave the dead to bury the their own dead. you yourself however having gone forth do declare the kingdom of God.
Achd a dubhairt Iósa ris, Leíg do na marbhuibh a mairbh féin daghlacadh: achd imthighsi, agus déana rioghachd Dé do sheanmóir.
61 Said then also another; I will follow You, Lord; first however do allow me to bid farewell to those at the home of mine.
Agus mar an gcéadna a dubhairt neach eile, Leanfuidh misi thú, a Thighearna; Achd leigh dhamh ar tús mo chead do ghabháil, ag am mhuinntir.
62 Said then to him Jesus: No [one] having laid the hand (of him *ko*) upon [the] plow and looking on the [things] back suitable is (for *k*) (the kingdom *N(k)O*) of God.
Achd a dubhairt Iósa ris, Gidh bé neach chureas a lámh ar an gcéuchd, agus fhéachas na dhíaigh, ní bhfuil se iomchubhaidh do ríoghachd Dé.
