< Luke 8 >

1 And it came to pass afterward soon that He himself was traveling throughout city and village preaching and evangelising of the kingdom of God And the Twelve [were] with Him

4 When were assembling now a crowd great and those from each town are coming to Him He spoke through a parable:
Ka letsatsi lengwe a neela boidiidi jwa batho ba ba neng ba phuthegile go tla go mo utlwa, setshwantsho se, fa ba bangwe ba bantsi ba sa ntse ba le mo tseleng ba tswa mo metseng e mengwe.
5 Went out the [one] sowing to sow the seed of him; And in the sowing of him some indeed fell along the road and it was trampled upon, and the birds of the air devoured it.
“Molemi o kile a tswela kwa tshimong ya gagwe go ya go jala peo. Ya re a gasa peo fa fatshe, nngwe ya yone ya wela mo tseleng mme ya gatakwa; mme dinonyane tsa e e ja ka e ne e le mo lobaleng.
6 However other (fell *N(k)O*) upon the rock, and having sprung up it withered through not having moisture.
Peo e nngwe ya wela mo mmunyaneng o go neng go ikadile letlapa ka fa tlase ga one. Peo ya simolola go gola, mme ka bonako ya swaba ya a swa ka ntlha ya go tlhoka longola.
7 And other fell in [the] midst of the thorns, and having sprung up with [it] the thorns choked choked it.
Peo e nngwe ya wela mo gare ga masitlwana, mme medi e mennye ya akofa ya hupela.
8 And other fell (upon *N(k)O*) the soil good, and having sprung up it produced fruit a hundredfold. These things saying He was calling out; The [one] having ears to hear he should hear.
E nngwe ya wela mo mmung o o molemo; peo e ya gola ya ungwa thobo ya selekanyo sa lekgolo go menagane go gaisa ka fa a neng a jetse ka teng.” (Ya re a a fa setshwantsho se a re, “Yo o nang le ditsebe a a utlwe.”)
9 Were asking then Him the disciples of Him (saying: *k*) What this would mean the parable
Baapostoloi ba gagwe ba mmotsa gore polelo e e rayang.
10 And He said; To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, to the however rest [it is] in parables so that Seeing not shall they see and hearing not shall they understand.’
Mme bontsintsi jo jwa batho bo utlwa mafoko mme ga ba tlhaloganye, fela jaaka baporofiti ba boletse.
11 Is now this the parable: The seed is the word of God.
“Tlhaloso ya sone ke e: Peo ke molaetsa wa Modimo mo bathong.
12 Those now along the road are which [are] (having heard, *N(k)O*) then comes the devil and takes away the word from the heart of them that not having believed they may be saved.
Tsela e e kwakwaletseng e peo nngwe e wetseng mo go yone e tshwantshiwa le dipelo tse di thata tsa batho ba ba utlwang mafoko a Modimo, mme diabolo a tle a utswe mafoko a kganele batho go dumela le go bolokwa.
13 Those now upon the rock, those who when they may hear with joy receive the word; and these a root not have, who for a time believe and in time of testing fall away.
Lefatshe le le maje le tshwantshiwa le ba ba itumelelang go reetsa dithero, mme ka mokgwa mongwe molaetsa tota o sa tsene mo go bone le gone ga o mele ebile ga o gole. Ba a itse gore molaetsa o o boammaaruri mme ba dumela ka lobakanyana fela; ere fa dipogiso di tla ba felelwe, ke kgatlhego.
14 That now into the thorns having fallen, these are those having heard, and under cares and riches and pleasures of life moving along are choked and not do mature.
Mme jalo ga ba na nonofo ya go thusa ope go dumela Mafoko a a Molemo.
15 That now in the good soil, these are those in a heart worthy and good having heard the word keep [it] and they bring forth fruit by perseverance.
“Mme mmu o o molemo o tshwantshiwa le batho ba ba ikanyegang ba ba pelo di siameng. Ba reetsa mafoko a Modimo ba a tshegetse mme ba a anamise ka bonya mo go ba bangwe.”
16 No [one] now a lamp having lighted covers it with a vessel or under a bed puts [it], but on a lampstand (puts [it] *N(k)O*) so that those entering in may see the light.
Nnyaa! Dipone di bewa mo di ka bonwang teng.
17 Nothing for is hidden which not manifest will become, nor [is] secret which certainly (not *no*) (may be known *N(k)O*) and to light come.
18 do take heed therefore how you hear; who[ever] (maybe *NK(o)*) for shall have, will be given to him, and who[ever] (maybe *NK(o)*) not shall have, even what he seems to have it will be taken away from him.
19 (she came *N(k)O*) then to Him the mother and the brothers of Him and not they were able to get to Him because of the crowd.
Mme ya re ka nako nngwe fa mmaagwe le bomonnawe ba tsile go mmona, ba seka ba tsena mo tlung e o neng a ruta mo go yone ka ntlha ya bontsintsi jwa batho.
20 (and *k*) It was told (also *no*) to Him (saying: *k*) The mother of You and the brothers of You have stood outside to see wanting You.
E rile Jesu a utlwa fa ba eme kwa ntle ba batla go mmona,
21 But answering He said to them; Mother of Mine and brothers of mine those are who the word of God are hearing and doing (it. *k*)
a re, “Mme le bonnake ke botlhe ba ba utlwang molaetsa wa Modimo ba bo ba o tshegetsa.”
22 (and *k*) It came to pass (then *no*) on one of the days also He himself climbed into a boat with the disciples of Him and He said to them; Let us pass over to the other side of the lake. And they launched out.
Ka letsatsi lengwe mo lobakeng loo, fa ene le barutwa ba gagwe ba le kwa ntle mo mokorong, a ntsha mogopolo wa gore ba kgabaganyetse ka kwa ntlheng e nngwe ya lecha.
23 When were sailing then they He fell asleep, And came down a storm of wind on the lake, and they were being swamped and were in danger.
Mme ya re ba kgabaganya a rapama a thulamela, mme ya re a sa ntse a robetse ga tsoga matsubutsubu a phefo a a boitshegang a leka go kgaphela mokoro mo lewatleng.
24 Having come to [Him] then they awoke Him saying; Master Master, we are perishing! And (having arisen up *N(k)O*) He rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. and they ceased, and there was a calm.
Mme ba taboga ba mo tsosa ba goa ba re, “Morena, Morena re a nwela!” Hong a bua le phefo a re, “Kgaotsa,” mme diphefo le makhubu a metse tsa khutla, gotlhe ga nna tidimalo.
25 He said then to them; Where (is *k*) the faith of you? Having been afraid then they marveled saying to one another; Who then this is for even to the winds He commands and to the water, and they obey Him?
Mme a ba botsa a re, “Tumelo ya lona e kae?” Mme ba bo ba tletse therego le go mmoifa ba raana ba re, “Monna yo ke mang, yo le e leng diphefo le makhubu a metse a mo utlwang?”
26 And they sailed down to the region of the (Gerasenes *N(K)O*) which is opposite Galilee.
27 Having gone forth then to Him upon the land met (with him *ko*) a man certain out of the city (who *ko*) (is having *N(k)O*) demons. and (from *k*) (time a long *N(k)O*) not (was wearing *N(k)O*) clothing and in a house not was abiding but in the tombs.
28 Having seen then Jesus (and *k*) having cried out he fell down before Him and in a voice loud said; What to me myself and to You, Jesus, Son of God the Most High? I implore of You not me You may torment!
Ya re ka bonako fa a bona Jesu a gala a wela fa fatshe fa pele ga ga Jesu, a goa, a re, “O batla go dirang ka nna, Jesu, Morwa Modimo o o tlotlegang? Tsweetswee, ke a go rapela, o se ka wa ntlhokofatsa!”
29 He was commanding for to the spirit unclean to come out from the man; Many for times it had seized him, and (he was shackled *N(k)O*) with chains and in fetters being kept, and breaking the chains he was driven (by *NK(o)*) the (demon *N(k)O*) into the deserts.
Gonne Jesu o ne a setse a laola mowa o o maswe gore o tswe mo go ene. Mowa o o maswe o ne o tle o laole monna yo mo e leng gore e ne e tle e re le fa a bofilwe ka dikeetane a kgaole mme a siele mo nageng, a laolwa ke mowa o o maswe gotlhelele.
30 Asked now him Jesus (saying: *ko*) What your name is And he said; (Legion; *N(k)O*) because were entered demons many into him.
Mme Jesu a botsa mowa oo maswe a re, “Leina la gago ke mang?” Mme wa fetola wa re, “Diketekete,” gonne o ne a tletse diketekete tsa mowa o o maswe!
31 And (they were begging *N(k)O*) Him that not he would command to them into the abyss to go away. (Abyssos g12)
(Abyssos g12)
32 There was now there a herd of pigs many (feeding *N(k)O*) in the mountain, and (they begged *N(k)O*) Him that He would allow them into them to enter. and He allowed them.
Mme Jesu a e letla.
33 Having gone out then the demons from the man (they entered *N(k)O*) into the pigs, and rushed the herd down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.
Mme ya tswa mo monneng ya tsena mo dikolobeng, mme ka bonako serapa sotlhe sa kgokologa thaba sa wela mo teng ga lecha kwa tlase, mo di neng tsa nwela teng tsotlhe.
34 Having seen then those feeding [them] what (already happening *N(k)O*) they fled and (having gone *K*) they reported [it] to the city and to the country.
Hong badisa ba dikolobe ba sianela kwa motsing o o gaufi, ba gasa mafoko fa ba ntse ba siana.
35 They went out then to see that having happened and they came to Jesus and found sitting the man from whom the demons (had gone out *N(k)O*) clothed and being of sound mind at the feet of Jesus, And they were afraid.
Ka bofefo bontsintsi jwa batho jwa tla go iponela ka bobone se se diragetseng mme ba bona monna yo o neng a tsenwe ke mowa o o maswe a ntse ka tidimalo fa dinaong tsa ga Jesu, a apere a bile a ikutlwa sentle. Mme bontsintsi jwa batho botlhe ba tshoga thata.
36 Related then to them (and *k*) those having seen [it] how was healed the [one] having been demonised.
Hong ba ba neng ba bone selo se se diragala ba bolela ka fa monna yo o neng a tsenwe ke mewa e e maswe a fodisitsweng ka teng.
37 And (asked *N(k)O*) Him all the multitude of the surrounding region of the (Gerasenes *N(K)O*) to depart from them, because with fear great they were seized. He himself now having climbed into (the *k*) boat turned back.
Mme batho botlhe ba kopa Jesu gore a tsamaye a ba tlogele (gonne therego e kgolo ya letshogo e ne ya ba wela). Mme a boela kwa mokorong a tsamaya, a kgabaganyetsa gape ka kwa ntlheng e nngwe ya lecha.
38 (Was begging *N(k)O*) however Him the man from whom had gone out the demons to be [taken] with Him. He sent away however him (*k*) (Jesus *K*) saying;
Monna yo o neng a tsenwe ke mewa e e maswe a kopa go tsamaya le ene, mme Jesu a gana.
39 do return to the house of you and do relate how much for you has done God. And he departed through all the city proclaiming how much did for him Jesus.
40 (it came to pass *K*) When then ([is] returning *N(k)O*) Jesus received Him the crowd; they were for all looking for Him.
Ka fa ntlheng e nngwe ya lecha bontsintsi jwa batho jwa mo amogela ka botlalo, gonne ba ne ba ntse ba mo lebeletse.
41 And behold came a man whose name [was] Jairus, and (he *N(k)O*) a ruler of the synagogue was. and having fallen at the feet of Jesus he was begging Him to come to the house of him
Mme jaanong monna yo o neng a bidiwa Jairo, moeteledipele wa ntlo ya thuto ya Sejuta, a tla a wela fa dinaong tsa ga Jesu a mo kopa gore a ye nae kwa ga gagwe,
42 because daughter an only was to him about years [old] twelve and she was dying. As then [is] to go He the crowds were pressing around Him.
Mme Jesu a tsamaya nae, ba sutlhelela ka bothata mo gare ga batho.
43 And a woman being with a flux of blood for years twelve, who (into *k*) (on physicians *N(k)O*) having spent all the living (of her *ko*) neither was able (by *N(k)O*) no [one] to be healed,
Ya re ba ntse ba tsamaya mosadi yo o neng a batla phodiso a tla kwa morago a ama Jesu, gonne o ne a dutlile madi ka bonya selekanyo sa dingwaga di le lesome le bobedi, mme a sa bone kalafi (ntswa a sentse sengwe le sengwe se a neng a na naso mo dingakeng), mme nako e o neng a ama ntlha ya seaparo sa ga Jesu, madi a ema.
44 having come behind [Him] she touched the fringe the of cloak of Him, and immediately stopped the flux of the blood of her.
45 And said Jesus; Who [is] the [one] having touched Me? When is denying [it] however everyone said Peter (and those *KO*) (with him: *K(o)*) Master, the people surround You and press in (and say which one having touched me. *KO*)
Mme Jesu a botsa a re, “Ke mang yo o nkamileng?” Mme mongwe le mongwe a itatola, mme Petere a re, “Morena, bontsintsi bo go dikaganyeditse…”
46 But Jesus said; Touched Me someone; I myself for know power (having left *N(k)O*) from Me.
47 Having seen then the woman that not she was hid, trembling she came and having fallen down before Him, for what cause she touched Him she declared (to him *k*) before all the people and how she was healed immediately.
Mme ya re mosadi a lemoga gore Jesu o a itse, a simolola go roroma a wela fa fatshe ka mangole fa pele ga gagwe a mmolelela go re o ne a mo amelang le gore jaanong o fodile.
48 And He said to her; (Take courage *K*) (daughter, *N(k)O*) the faith of you has healed you; do go in peace.
Hong Jesu a mo raya a re, “Morwadiaka, tumelo ya gago e go fodisitse. Tsamaya ka kagiso.”
49 Still when he is speaking comes one from the synagogue ruler saying (to him *ko*) that Has died the daughter of You; (no longer *N(K)O*) do trouble the Teacher.
E rile a sa ntse a bua le ene, morongwa a goroga a tswa kwa lapeng la ga Jairo ka mafoko a a reng ngwanyana o sule. A raya rraagwe ngwana a re, “O sule, ga go thuse go tshwenya Moruti jaanong.”
50 But Jesus having heard He answered to him (saying; *k*) Not do fear; only (do believe, *N(k)O*) and she will be saved.
Mme e rile fa Jesu a utlwalela se se diragetseng, a raya rraagwe ngwana a re, “Se boife! Ikanye nna fela, ngwana o tla siama.”
51 (having entered *N(k)O*) then into the house not He did allow to go in (anyone *N(k)O*) (with Him *NO*) only except Peter and John and James, and the father of the child and the mother.
52 They were weeping now all and they were mourning for her. But He said; Not do weep; not (for *no*) she is dead but sleeps.
Ga a a swa; o robetse fela!”
53 And they were laughing at Him, knowing that she was dead.
54 He himself now (having taken out outside all and *K*) having taken hold of the hand of her called out saying: O Child, (do arise. *N(k)O*)
Hong a mo tshwara ka seatla a mmitsa a re, “Tsoga morweetsana.”
55 And returned the spirit of her, and she arose immediately, and He directed to her to be given to eat.
Mme ka yone nako eo a rula a nanoga! A ba raya a re, “Mo neeng sengwe a je!”
56 And were amazed the parents of her. and He instructed to them no one to tell what having happened.
Batsadi ba gagwe ba ne ba itumela thata. Mme Jesu a ba laya gore ba seka ba bolelela ope kaga se se diragetseng.
