< Luke 23 >

1 And having risen up all the multitude of them (they led *N(k)O*) Him to Pilate.
Adudagi miyam apumba aduna hougattuna Jisubu Pilate-ki mamangda purakle.
2 They began then to accuse Him saying; This [man] we found misleading the nation (of us *NO*) and forbidding tribute to Caesar to be given (and *no*) declaring Himself Christ a king to be.
Aduga makhoina Ibungobu maran siba houraduna hairak-i, “Nupa asina leibak miyambu lanna lamjingle. Mahakna miyamda Caesar-da kanggat thidanaba hai aduga masana masabu Christta ningthouni haijei.”
3 And Pilate (asked *N(k)O*) Him saying; You yourself are the King of the Jews? And answering him He was saying; You yourself say.
Maduda Pilate-na Ibungoda hanglak-i, “Nahak Jihudigi ningthou adura?” Jisuna khumlak-i, “Nahakna hairiba aduni.”
4 And Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds; No [thing] find I guilty in man this.

5 But they were insisting saying that He stirs up the people teaching throughout all of Judea (and *no*) He has begun from Galilee until here.
Adubu makhoina henna kanna taksinduna hairak-i, “Galilee-dagi houduna Jerusalem phaoba, Judea sinba-thungna mahakna tambiduna miyam marakta irang sagatli.”
6 Pilate now having heard (Galilee *KO*) asked whether the man a Galilean is,
Madu tabada Pilate-na mangonda hanglak-i, “Mahak asi Galileegi mira?”
7 and having learned that from the jurisdiction of Herod He is, he sent up Him to (*o*) Herod being also he himself in Jerusalem in those days.

8 And Herod having seen Jesus [was] glad exceedingly; he was for of (long *N(k)O*) time wishing to see Him because of hearing (many things *K*) concerning Him and he was hoping some sign to see by Him done.

9 He was questioning then Him in words many; He himself however no [thing] answered him.
Maram aduna Herodna Jisuda wahang kaya ama hanglammi adubu Ibungona mangonda paokhum amata pikhide.
10 Had been standing by now the chief priests and the scribes vehemently accusing Him.
Aduga athoiba purohitsing amadi Wayen Yathanggi ojasingna lepkhattuna Ibungoda akanba maral sirammi.
11 Having set at naught then Him (also *no*) Herod with the troops of him and having mocked [and] having put on (Him *ko*) apparel splendid, sent back Him to Pilate.
Adudagi Herod amadi mahakki lanmisingna Jisubu noknarammi amasung karemnarammi. Aduga Ibungobu phajaba phijol ama setpiduna Pilate-ki manakta amuk hanna thakhirammi.
12 Became then friends both Herod and Pilate on that day with one another; they were formerly for at enmity they were between (them. *N(k)(o)*)

13 Pilate then having called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people
Adudagi Pilate-na athoiba purohitsing, luchingbasing, amadi misingbu punna kouraduna,
14 said to them; You brought to me man this as misleading the people; and behold I myself before you having examined [Him] no [thing] found in man this guilty of that accusation you are bringing against Him;

15 But not even [did] Herod; (he sent back *N(K)O*) for Him to (us *N(K)O*) And behold no [thing] worthy of death is done by Him.
Aduga Herodnasu mahakki maral amata phangdre maramdi mahakna nupa asibu eikhoida amuk hanna tharakle. Mahakna sibagi cheirak phangba yaba karigumba thabak amatasu toukhide.
16 Having chastised therefore Him I will release [Him].

17 (necessity *KO*) (now had to release to them according to feast one. *K*)
[Maramdi Chakkhangba kummei khudinggi miyamgidamak Pilatena phadok amabu thadokpa tarammi.]
18 (They cried out *N(k)O*) however all together saying; do remove this [man], do release now to us Barabbas;
Adubu miyam apumba aduna laorak-i, “Mahakpu hatlu! Aduga Barabbaspu eikhoigidamak thadok-u!”
19 who was on account of insurrection a certain having been made in the city and murder (being cast into *N(k)O*) (the *no*) (prison. *N(k)O*)
(Barabbas asi sahar aduda leibak irang thokhanbada saruk yabagi amadi mi hatlubagidamak keisumsangda thambani.)
20 Again (therefore *N(k)O*) Pilate called to them wishing to release Jesus.
Aduga Pilate-na Jisubu thadokningduna miyam aduda amukka hanna hairammi.
21 But they were crying out saying; (do crucify do crucify *N(k)O*) Him.
Adubu makhoina, “Cross-ta hatlu! Cross-ta hatlu!” haiduna laoduna leirammi.
22 And a third [time] he said to them; What for evil did commit this [man]? No [thing] worthy of death found I in Him. Having chastised therefore Him I will release [Him].
Ahumlaksuba oina Pilatena makhoida hairammi, “Karigi mahakpu hatkadouribano? Mahakna kari phataba toukhrabage? Eina mangondagi sibagi cheirak piba yaba maran amata phangde. Maram aduna eina mahakpu cheirak khara piraga thadoklagani.”
23 But they were urgent with voices loud asking for Him to be crucified, And were prevailing the voices of them (and of the chief priests. *KO*)
Adubu makhoina houna lao-laoduna Ibungobu crossta pang tingduna hatnanaba taksillammi, aduga makhoigi khonjel aduna ngamkhirammi.
24 (*k*) (and *N(k)O*) Pilate sentenced to be done the demand of them.
Maram aduna Pilate-na makhoigi apamba adu pinanaba Jisubu hatnanaba laothoklammi.
25 He released then (to them *k*) the [one] on account of insurrection and murder cast into (*k*) prison whom they were asking for; and Jesus he delivered to the will of them.
Aduga mahakna makhoina thadoknaba nijaba, leibak irang thokhanba amadi mi hatpagidamak keisumsangda thamliba Barabaspu thadoklaga makhoigi apambagi matunginna Jisubu makhoigi makhutta pithoklammi.
26 And as they led away Him, having laid hold on (Simon a certain from Cyrene *N(k)O*) (who *k*) (is coming *N(k)O*) from [the] country they put upon him the cross to carry behind Jesus.

27 Were following now Him a great multitude of the people and of women who (also *k*) were mourning and they were lamenting for Him.

28 Having turned then to them Jesus said; Daughters of Jerusalem, not do weep for Me myself, but for yourselves do weep and for the children of you.
Adubu Jisuna makhoida onsilladuna hairak-i, “Jerusalemgi machanupising! Eihakkidamak kapkanu; adubu nakhoi nasagidamak amadi nachasinggidamak kappu.
29 For behold are coming days in which they will say; Blessed [are] the barren and (the *no*) wombs that never did bear and breasts that never (they feed. *N(k)O*)
Maramdi ‘Chaboktabising, naopudabi nupising amadi khom-indabi nupising adu yaiphabini’ haigadaba matam adu lakli.
30 Then They will begin to say to the mountains; do fall upon us; and to the hills; do cover us.
Matam aduda misingna chingjaosingda haigani, ‘Eikhoigi ithakta tasinbiro’ aduga makhoina chingsingda haigani, ‘Eikhoibu kupsinbiro.’
31 For if in the green tree these things they do, in the dry what may happen?
Asangba upalda misingna asigumna touragadi akangba upaldadi kari thokkadage?”
32 Were being led away now also other criminals two with Him to be executed.
Aduga wayel thugaiba nupa ani amasu Ibungoga loinana hatnanaba puthoklammi.
33 And when (they came *N(k)O*) to the place which is being called [The] Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, the one on [the] right, another and on [the] left.
Aduga makhoina “Kokki saru akangba” kouba mapham aduda laklabada makhoina Ibungobu amadi phattaba touba makhoi anibu amana Ibungogi yetta amana oida crossta pang tingkhi.
34 And Jesus was saying; Father, do forgive them; not for they know what they do. Dividing then the garments of Him they cast (lots. *NK(o)*)
Adudagi Jisuna hairak-i, “Ipa, makhoibu kokpiyu, maramdi makhoina kari touribano haibadu makhoina khangjade.” Aduga lanmising aduna Ibungogi phironsing adubu laibak chang yengnaduna yennarammi.
35 And had stood the people beholding. Were deriding [Him] then also the rulers (with them *k*) saying; Others He saved, he should save Himself if this is the Christ (*ko*) of God (the *no*) Chosen [One].
Miyam aduna leptuna yenglammi amasung Jihudigi luchingbasing aduna Ibungoda keramnarammi. Makhoina hairak-i, “Mahakna atoppa misingbudi kanbikhi. Mahak asi Tengban Mapuna khandoklaba, Christa adu oirabadi mahak masasu kanjasanu.”
36 (Mocked *N(k)O*) then Him also the soldiers coming near, (and *k*) sour wine offering to Him
Aduga lanmising adusu laktuna Ibungobu noknarammi. Makhoina Ibungoda asinba yu piraduna,
37 and saying; If You yourself are the King of the Jews, do save Yourself!
hairak-i, “Nahakna Jihudigi ningthou oirabadi nasamakpu kanjou.”
38 There was now also an inscription (written *K(o)*) over Him (writings in Greek and in Latin and in Hebrew; is *K*) the King of the Jews This [is].
Amasung Ibungogi kokthaklomda “Masi Jihudigi ningthouni” haina Greek, Latin amadi Hebrew londa iba ayiba ama thetlammi.
39 One now of those having been hanged criminals he was denigrating Him saying: (Surely *N(K)O*) you yourself are the Christ? do save Yourself and us!
Aduga Ibungogi nakanda yalliba phattaba toubasing adugi maraktagi amana Ibungobu thina ngangladuna hairak-i, “Nahakna Christa oirabadi nasabusu amadi eikhoibusu kallu.”
40 Answering now the other (rebuking *N(k)O*) him (was speaking; *N(k)O*) Not even do fear you yourself God that under the same judgment you are?
Adubu atoppa phattaba touba ama aduna mahakpu cheiraduna hairak-i, “Nahak Tengban Mapubu kidabara? Mahakna phangba cheirak adumak nahaknasu chap manana phangli.
41 and we ourselves indeed justly, Worthy for of what we did we are receiving; [this] man however no [thing] wrong did.
Adumakpu eikhoinadi achumba cheirak adu phangli maramdi eikhoina toujaruba thabakki phangbada matik chaba adu eikhoina phangjari. Adubu nupa asinadi aranba kari amata toukhide.”
42 And he was saying: (*k*) Jesus, do remember me (Lord *K*) when You may come (into *N(k)O*) (the kingdom *NK(o)*) of You!
Aduga mahakna Jisuda hairak-i, “Jisu, nahakna nahakki ningthou leibak changbada eibu ningsingbiyu.”
43 And He said to him (Jesus: *ko*) Amen to you I say: today with Me you will be in Paradise.
Maduda Jisuna mangonda hairak-i, “Eina nangonda tasengnamak hairibasini, ngasi nahakna eiga loinana Paradise-ta leiminnagani.”
44 (And *no*) it was (now *k*) (already *no*) about [the] hour sixth, and darkness came over all the land until [the] hour ninth
Matam adu chaorakna pung taranithoimuk tarammi. Aduga amambana lam adu sinba tungna pung ahum taba phaoba kupsillammi,
45 (and *ko*) (The sun darkened. *N(k)O*) (and *ko*) was torn (then *no*) the veil of the temple in [the] middle.
maramdi numitki mangal mangkhirammi. Aduga Mapugi Sanglen-gi maikhanphi adu anithokna segairammi.
46 And having called out in a voice loud Jesus said; Father, into [the] hands of You (I myself commit *N(k)O*) the Spirit of Mine. (This now *N(k)O*) having said He breathed His last.
Adudagi Jisuna ahouba khonjelda laorak-i, “Ipa! Eina eigi thawai asi nanggi khutta sinajari.” Asi hairamlaga Ibungona thawai thakhirammi.
47 Having seen now the centurion that having taken place (he was glorifying *N(k)O*) God saying; Certainly man this righteous was.
Aduga lanmi chamagi luchingba aduna thokkhiba adu ubada, Tengban Mapubu thagatladuna hairak-i, “Tasengnamak mahak achumba chatpa mini.”
48 And all the having come together crowds to spectacle this, (having seen *N(k)O*) the [things] having taken place, beating (their own *k*) breasts were returning [home].
Amasung thoudok adu yengnanabagidamak tilliba miyam aduna thokkhiba adu urabada thabak yeiraduna hannakhirammi.
49 Had stood now all those who knew (with Him *N(k)O*) (from *no*) afar off also women those (having followed *N(k)O*) Him from Galilee beholding these things.
Adubu Ibungoga khangnaba makhoising haibadi Galilee-dagi mahakki tung illakpi nupising adu yaona makhoi pumnamakna thaptakna lepladuna yenglammi.
50 And behold a man named Joseph a Council member being (also *n*) a man good and righteous;
Aduga maming Joseph kouba aphaba amasung achumba chatpa mi ama leirammi. Mahak sanhedringi mioisinggi maraktagi ama oirammi,
51 he not was having consented to the counsel and to the deed of them; from Arimathea a city of the Jews, who (and *k*) he was waiting for (and himself *k*) the kingdom of God,
adubu mahakna makhoigi warep amadi thabak adu yaninglamde. Mahak Judea-gi Arimathea lamdagini aduga mahakna Tengban Mapugi leibak aduna lakpa khourangna ngaijarammi.
52 He having gone to Pilate asked [for] the body of Jesus.
Mahakna Pilate-ki manakta chattuna Jisugi hakchang adubu nijarammi.
53 And having taken down (it *k*) he wrapped it in a linen cloth and placed (it *N(k)O*) in a tomb cut in a rock in which no were no [one] (not yet *N(k)O*) laid.
Adudagi mahakna hachang adubu loutharaduna linengi phina yomsillaga nungjaoda haktuna thamba mi kana amata thamnadriba mongpham amada thamkhi.
54 And [the] Day it was (of Preparation, *NK(o)*) and Sabbath was just beginning.
Numit adu thourang langba numit oirammi amasung Potthaba Numit hougadourammi.
55 Having followed then (and *k*) (the *no*) women who were having come from Galilee with Him saw the tomb and how was laid the body of Him.
Aduga Galilee-dagi Jisugi tung illakpising aduna Joseph-ki tung illaktuna mongphamda Jisugi hakchang adu karamna thambage haibadu yenglammi.
56 Having returned then they prepared spices and anointing oils And on the indeed Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
Adudagi makhoina halaktuna hakchang adugidamak manam nungsiba machal amadi teinanaba thao thourang toujare. Adubu potthaba numit adudi wayel yathang matung-inna makhoina pottharammi.
