< Luke 20 >
1 And it came to pass on one of the days (of those *k*) when is teaching He the people in the temple and evangelising came up the (chief priests *NK(o)*) and the scribes with the elders
Un de ces jours-là, comme Jésus enseignait le peuple dans le temple, et lui annonçait la bonne nouvelle, les sacrificateurs et les scribes accompagnés des anciens survinrent,
2 and spoke saying to Him: do tell us by what authority these things You do or who is the [one] having given to You authority this?
et s'adressèrent à lui, disant: «Dis-nous de quel droit tu fais ces choses, et qui t'a donné ce droit?»
3 Answering now He said to them; Will ask you I myself also I myself also (one *k*) thing, and do tell Me:
Jésus leur répondit: «Je vous ferai aussi une question;
4 The baptism of John from heaven was it or from men?
dites-moi: «Le baptême de Jean venait-il du ciel ou des hommes?»
5 And they reasoned among themselves saying that If we shall say: From heaven, He will say; Because of why (therefore *K*) not did you believe in him?
Mais ils firent entre eux cette réflexion: Si nous disons «du ciel, » il dira: Pourquoi n'y avez-vous pas cru?
6 If however we shall say; From men, the people (all *N(k)O*) will stone us; persuaded for they are John a prophet to be.
et si nous disons «des hommes, » tout le peuple nous lapidera, car il est persuadé que Jean était un prophète!
7 And they answered not to know from where.
Ils répondirent qu'ils ne savaient d'où il venait.
8 And Jesus said to them; Neither I myself tell you by what authority these things I am doing.
Et Jésus leur dit: «Moi non plus, je ne vous dirai pas de quel droit je fais ces choses.»
9 He began then to the people to speak parable this: A man (certain *NK*) planted a vineyard and rented it to farmers and went abroad a time long.
Il se mit à adresser au peuple cette parabole: «Un homme avait planté une vigne; il l'afferma à des vignerons, et quitta le pays pour un temps assez long.
10 And (in *k*) [in the] season he sent to the farmers a servant that from the fruit of the vineyard (they will give *N(k)O*) to him; But the farmers sent away him having beaten [him] empty-handed.
A l'époque des vendanges, il envoya un serviteur vers les vignerons pour qu'ils lui donnent une part de la récolte; mais les vignerons le battirent, et le renvoyèrent les mains vides.
11 And he proceeded another to send a servant; but him him having beaten and having dishonored they sent away empty-handed.
Il envoya un second serviteur; ils le battirent aussi, le maltraitèrent indignement, et le renvoyèrent les mains vides.
12 And he proceeded a third to send; They then also him having wounded they cast out.
Il en envoya encore un troisième; ils le blessèrent aussi, et le chassèrent.
13 Said then the master of the vineyard; What shall I do? I will send the son of mine the beloved; perhaps him (having seen *K*) they will respect.
Le maître de la vigne se dit: «Que faire? Je vais envoyer mon fils bien-aimé; peut-être qu'en le voyant, ils le respecteront.»
14 Having seen now him the farmers were reasoning among (one another *N(k)O*) saying; This is the heir; (come *K*) let us kill him so that ours may become the inheritance.
Mais, quand les vignerons le virent, ils se dirent entre eux: «C'est l'héritier; tuons-le, pour que l'héritage soit à nous.»
15 And having cast forth him outside the vineyard they killed [him]. What therefore will do to them the master of the vineyard?
Là-dessus, ils le jetèrent hors de la vigne, et le tuèrent. Que leur fera donc le maître de la vigne?
16 He will come and he will destroy farmers these and will give the vineyard to others. Having heard [it] then they said; Never would it be!
Il viendra, fera périr ces vignerons, et donnera la vigne à d'autres.» A ces mots, le peuple dit: «A Dieu ne plaise!»
17 But having looked at them He said; What then is that written this: [The] stone which rejected those building, this has become into [the] head of [the] corner’?
Mais Jésus jetant les yeux sur eux, dit: «Que signifie donc cette parole de l'Ecriture: «La pierre que les constructeurs avaient mise au rebut, est devenue la pierre angulaire?»
18 Everyone falling on that [very] stone will be broken; on whomever but maybe it may fall, it will grind into powder him.
Quiconque tombera sur cette pierre, s'y brisera; et elle écrasera celui sur qui elle tombera.»
19 And sought the scribes and the chief priests to lay on Him hands in that hour and they feared the people; they perceived for that against them He was speaking parable this.
Les scribes et les principaux sacrificateurs désiraient se saisir de lui sur l'heure, mais la crainte du peuple les retint: ils avaient compris que c'était à eux que s'adressait cette parabole.
20 And having watched [Him] they sent spies feigning themselves righteous to be, that they may catch Him in talk, (in order *N(k)O*) to deliver Him to the rule and to the authority of the governor.
Ils ne perdirent pas Jésus de vue, et envoyèrent des personnes insidieuses, qui contrefaisaient les justes, afin de le surprendre dans ses paroles, et de le livrer aux magistrats et au pouvoir du gouverneur.
21 And they questioned Him saying; Teacher, we know that rightly You speak and You teach and not You receive [any] person but on the basis of truth the way of God teach.
Elles lui posèrent cette question: «Maître, nous savons que tu parles et enseignes comme il faut, et que tu ne fais pas acception de personnes, mais que tu enseignes en toute vérité la voie de Dieu.
22 Is it lawful (for us *N(k)O*) to Caesar tribute to give or not?
Nous est-il permis, ou non, de payer le tribut à César?»
23 having perceived however of them the craftiness He said to them (why *KO*) (me do you test; *K*)
Mais Jésus ayant démêlé leur fourberie, leur dit:
24 (do show *N(k)O*) Me a denarius; Of whom has it [the] image and inscription? (Those *N(K)O*) And they said; Caesar’s.
«Montrez-moi un denier?... De qui porte-il l'effigie et la légende?» Ils répondirent: «De César.»
25 And He said (to *no*) (them; *N(k)O*) Therefore do give back the [things] of Caesar to Caesar and the [things] of God to God.
— «Eh bien! leur dit-il, rendez à César ce qui est à César, et à Dieu ce qui est à Dieu.»
26 And not they were able to catch Him in (His *NK(o)*) declaration before the people, and having marveled at the answer of Him they became silent.
Ils ne purent lui arracher aucune parole compromettante devant le peuple, et, surpris de sa réponse, ils gardèrent le silence.
27 Having approached then some of the Sadducees, the ones (denying *NK(o)*) a resurrection not being, they questioned Him
Quelques sadducéens, gens qui prétendent qu'il n'y a point de résurrection, vinrent vers Jésus, et lui posèrent cette question:
28 saying; Teacher, Moses wrote to us: if anyone’s brother shall die having a wife and he childless (shall be, *N(K)O*) that shall take the brother of him the wife and shall raise up seed to the brother of him.
«Maître, Moïse nous a donné cette loi: «Si un frère marié meurt, et meurt sans enfants, que son frère épouse sa femme et suscite lignée à son frère.»
29 Seven therefore brothers there were; and the first having taken a wife died childless,
Il y avait donc sept frères: le premier s'étant marié, mourut sans enfants.
30 and (took *K*) the second (wife and this died childless *K*)
Le second, puis le troisième épousèrent la veuve.
31 and the third took her (likewise *o*) likewise then also the seven not did leave children and died.
Il en fut de même des sept; ils moururent tous, sans laisser d'enfants.
32 Finally (now of all *K*) also the woman died.
Ensuite, la femme mourut aussi.
33 (The woman *no*) therefore in the resurrection, of which of them does she become wife? For the seven had her as wife.
Duquel d'entre eux sera-t-elle donc la femme dans la résurrection, car les sept frères l'ont eue pour femme.»
34 And (answering *k*) said to them Jesus; The sons of the age this marry and (are given in marriage, *N(k)O*) (aiōn )
Jésus leur dit: «Les enfants de ce siècle, hommes et femmes, se marient, (aiōn )
35 those however having been considered worthy of the age that [one] to obtain and of the resurrection from [the] dead neither marry nor (are given in marriage; *N(k)(o)*) (aiōn )
mais ceux qui seront jugés dignes d'avoir part au siècle à venir, et à la résurrection d'entre les morts, ne se marieront point; (aiōn )
36 (neither *N(k)O*) for to die any more are they able, like [the] angels for they are, and sons they are (*k*) of God of the resurrection sons being.
car ils ne peuvent même pas mourir, puisqu'ils sont comme les anges, et qu'ils sont fils de Dieu, étant fils de la résurrection.
37 for however are raised the dead, even Moses showed at the bush when he names [the] Lord the God of Abraham and (the *k*) God of Isaac and (the *k*) God of Jacob.’
Que les morts ressuscitent, c'est ce que Moïse même a indiqué dans le passage où il parle du buisson; lorsqu'il appelle le Seigneur «le Dieu d'Abraham, le Dieu d'Isaac et le Dieu de Jacob; »
38 God now not He is of [the] dead but of [the] living; all for to Him live.
Dieu n'est pas Dieu des morts, mais Dieu des vivants, car ils sont tous vivants pour lui.»
39 Answering now some of the scribes said; Teacher, well you have spoken.
Quelques scribes, ayant pris la parole, dirent: «Maître, tu as bien parlé.»
40 no longer no longer (then *N(k)O*) were they daring to ask Him no [thing].
En effet, on n'osait plus lui poser une seule question.
41 He said then to them; How do they declare the Christ to be David's Son
Jésus leur dit: «Comment dit-on que le Messie est fils de David,
42 (and *ko*) Himself (for *no*) David says in [the] book of Psalms: Said (the *ko*) Lord to the Lord of me; do sit at [the] right hand of Me
quand David dit, lui-même, dans le livre des Psaumes: «Le Seigneur a dit à mon Seigneur: Assieds-toi à ma droite,
43 until when I may place the enemies of You [as] a footstool of the feet of You.
jusqu’à ce que j’aie fait de tes ennemis ton marchepied?»
44 David therefore Lord Him calls, and how of him son is He?
Puis donc que David l'appelle «Seigneur, » comment est-il son fils?»
45 When are listening now all the people He said to the disciples of Him;
Il dit à ses disciples en présence de tout le peuple, qui l’écoutait:
46 do beware of the scribes who are desiring to walk in long robes and loving greetings in the marketplaces and first seats in the synagogues and first places in the banquets,
«Gardez-vous des scribes, qui aiment à se promener en robes, qui recherchent les salutations dans les places publiques, les premiers sièges dans les synagogues et les premières places dans les repas:
47 who devour the houses of widows and as a pretext at great length pray; These will receive more excessive condemnation.
ces gens qui dévorent les maisons des veuves, sous prétexte de longues prières, seront jugés d'autant plus sévèrement.»
