Leviticus 1
1 And he called to Moses and he spoke Yahweh to him from [the] tent of meeting saying.
YAHWEH appela Moïse, et lui parla de la tente de réunion, en disant:
2 Speak to [the] people of Israel and you will say to them anyone that he will present of you a present to Yahweh from the livestock from the herd and from the flock you will present present your.
" Parle aux enfants d'Israël et dis-leur: Lorsque quelqu'un d'entre vous fera à Yahweh une offrande, ce sera du bétail que vous offrirez, du gros ou du menu bétail.
3 If [is] a burnt offering present his from the herd a male unblemished he will present it to [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting he will present it for acceptance its before Yahweh.
Si son offrande est un holocauste de gros bétail, il offrira un mâle sans défaut; il l'offrira à l'entrée de la tente de réunion, pour être agréé devant Yahweh.
4 And he will lean hand his on [the] head of the burnt offering and it will be accepted for him to make atonement on him.
Il posera sa main sur la tête de l'holocauste, et il sera accepté en sa faveur pour faire expiation pour lui.
5 And he will cut [the] throat of [the] young one of the herd before Yahweh and they will present [the] sons of Aaron the priests the blood and they will sprinkle the blood on the altar all around which [is] [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting.
Il égorgera le jeune taureau devant Yahweh, et les prêtres, fils d'Aaron, offriront le sang et le répandront tout autour sur l'autel qui est à l'entrée de la tente de réunion.
6 And he will skin the burnt offering and he will cut in pieces it into pieces its.
On dépouillera l'holocauste et on le découpera en ses morceaux.
7 And they will put [the] sons of Aaron the priest fire on the altar and they will arrange wood on the fire.
Les fils du prêtre Aaron mettront du feu sur l'autel et disposeront du bois sur le feu;
8 And they will arrange [the] sons of Aaron the priests the pieces the head and the suet on the wood which [are] on the fire which [is] on the altar.
puis les prêtres, fils d'Aaron, arrangeront les morceaux, avec la tête et la fressure, sur le bois placé sur le feu de l'autel.
9 And entrails its and legs its he will wash with water and he will make smoke the priest everything the altar towards a burnt offering a fire offering of an odor of soothing to Yahweh.
On lavera avec de l'eau les entrailles et les jambes, et le prêtre fera fumer le tout sur l'autel. C'est un holocauste, un sacrifice par le feu, d'une agréable odeur à Yahweh.
10 And if [is] from the flock present his from the young rams or from the goats to a burnt offering a male unblemished he will present it.
Si son offrande est de menu bétail, un holocauste d'agneaux ou de chèvres, il offrira un mâle sans défaut.
11 And he will cut [the] throat of it at [the] side of the altar north-ward before Yahweh and they will sprinkle [the] sons of Aaron the priests blood its on the altar all around.
Il l'égorgera au côté septentrional de l'autel, devant Yahweh; et les prêtres, fils d'Aaron, en répandront le sang tout autour sur l'autel.
12 And he will cut in pieces it into pieces its and head its and suet its and he will arrange the priest them on the wood which [are] on the fire which [is] on the altar.
On le découpera en ses morceaux, avec sa tête et sa fressure; puis le prêtre les arrangera sur le bois placé sur le feu de l'autel.
13 And the entrails and the legs he will wash with water and he will present the priest everything and he will make [it] smoke the altar towards [is] a burnt offering it a fire offering of an odor of soothing to Yahweh.
Il lavera dans l'eau les entrailles et les jambes, et le prêtre offrira le tout et le fera fumer sur l'autel. C'est un holocauste, un sacrifice par le feu, d'une agréable odeur à Yahweh.
14 And if from the bird[s] [is] a burnt offering present his to Yahweh and he will present from the turtle-doves or from [the] young ones of the dove present his.
Si son offrande à Yahweh est un holocauste d'oiseaux, il offrira des tourterelles ou de jeunes pigeons.
15 And he will present it the priest to the altar and he will nip off head its and he will make [it] smoke the altar towards and it will be drained out blood its on [the] side of the altar.
Le prêtre apportera l'oiseau à l'autel; il lui brisera la tête avec l'ongle et la fera fumer sur l'autel, et son sang sera exprimé contre la paroi de l'autel.
16 And he will remove craw its with feather[s] its and he will throw it beside the altar east-ward to [the] place of the fatty ash.
Il ôtera le jabot avec ses impuretés et le jettera près de l'autel, vers l'Orient, au lieu où l'on met les cendres.
17 And he will tear apart it by wings its not he will separate [it] and he will make smoke it the priest the altar towards on the wood which [are] on the fire [is] a burnt offering it a fire offering of an odor of soothing to Yahweh.
Puis il fendra l'oiseau aux ailes, sans les séparer, et le prêtre le fera fumer sur l'autel, sur le bois placé sur le feu. C'est un holocauste, un sacrifice par le feu, d'une agréable odeur à Yahweh.
