< Leviticus 3 >
1 And if [is] a sacrifice of peace offering present his if one of the herd he [is] presenting whether a male or a female unblemished he will present it before Yahweh.
[“Also tell the people], ‘When the offering that you bring to Yahweh is to maintain good fellowship [with him], you may bring a bull or a cow from your herd [of cattle], but what you present to Yahweh must be an animal that has no defects.
2 And he will lean hand his on [the] head of present his and he will cut throat its [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting and they will sprinkle [the] sons of Aaron the priests the blood on the altar all around.
You must bring the animal to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it [and drain some of its blood in a bowl]. Then one of Aaron’s sons, one of the priests, will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
3 And he will present from [the] sacrifice of the peace offering a fire offering to Yahweh the fat which covers the entrails and all the fat which [is] on the entrails.
From that offering, you must offer to Yahweh, as a sacrifice that will be burned in the fire, all the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal, or which is attached to them—
4 And [the] two the kidneys and the fat which [is] on them which [is] on the loins and the lobe on the liver on the kidneys he will remove it.
the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
5 And they will make smoke it [the] sons of Aaron the altar towards on the burnt offering which [is] on the wood which [are] on the fire a fire offering of an odor of soothing to Yahweh.
Then one of the priests will burn those things on the altar, along with the other parts of the animal that will be completely burned to be an offering [to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.
6 And if [is] one of the flock present his to a sacrifice of peace offering to Yahweh a male or a female unblemished he will present it.
If that offering to maintain good fellowship with Yahweh is a sheep or a goat, it must also be an animal that has no defects.
7 If a young ram he [is] presenting present his and he will present it before Yahweh.
If you offer a lamb, you must present it to Yahweh [at the entrance to the Sacred Tent]. You must lay your hands on the lamb’s head and then slaughter it. [‘You must drain some of its blood in a bowl].
8 And he will lean hand his on [the] head of present his and he will cut [the] throat of it before [the] tent of meeting and they will sprinkle [the] sons of Aaron blood its on the altar all around.
Then one of the priests will sprinkle that blood against all sides of the altar.
9 And he will present from [the] sacrifice of the peace offering a fire offering to Yahweh fat its the fat tail complete close to the backbone he will remove it and the fat which covers the entrails and all the fat which [is] on the entrails.
You must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: Its fat, the fat tail that you must cut off close to the backbone, and all the fat that covers the inner parts of the lamb or which is attached to them—
10 And [the] two the kidneys and the fat which [is] on them which [is] on the loins and the lobe on the liver on the kidneys he will remove it.

11 And he will make smoke it the priest the altar towards food of a fire offering to Yahweh.
One of the priests will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh].
12 And if [is] a goat present his and he will present it before Yahweh.
‘If your offering is a goat, you must take/present it to Yahweh.
13 And he will lean hand his on head its and he will cut [the] throat of it before [the] tent of meeting and they will sprinkle [the] sons of Aaron blood its on the altar all around.
You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it in front of the Sacred Tent. Then one of Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
14 And he will present from it present his a fire offering to Yahweh the fat which covers the entrails and all the fat which [is] on the entrails.
From that offering you must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: All the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal or which is attached to them,
15 And [the] two the kidneys and the fat which [is] on them which [is] on the loins and the lobe on the liver on the kidneys he will remove it.

16 And he will make smoke them the priest the altar towards food of a fire offering to an odor of soothing all fat [belongs] to Yahweh.
The priest will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. All the fat [of the animals that are sacrificed] belongs to Yahweh.
17 A statute of perpetuity to generations your in all dwelling places your any fat and any blood not you must eat.
‘This is a command that must be obeyed by you and your descendants forever, wherever you live: You must not eat the fat or the blood [of any animal].’”
