Leviticus 26
1 Not you must make for yourselves worthless idols and an idol and a sacred pillar not you must set up for yourselves and a stone of a carved image not you must make in land your to bow down to it for I [am] Yahweh God your.
" Vous ne ferez point d'idoles, vous ne vous dresserez ni image taillée ni stèle sacrée, et vous ne placerez dans votre pays aucune pierre ornée de figures, pour vous prosterner près d'elle; car je suis Yahweh, votre Dieu.
2 Sabbaths my you will keep and sanctuary my you will fear I [am] Yahweh.
Vous observerez mes sabbats, et vous révérerez mon sanctuaire. Je suis Yahweh. "
3 If in statutes my you will walk and commandments my you will keep and you will do them.
" Si vous suivez mes lois, si vous gardez mes commandements et les mettez en pratique,
4 And I will give rains your at time their and it will give the land produce its and [the] tree[s] of the field it will give fruit its.
j'enverrai vos pluies en leur saison; la terre donnera ses produits, et les arbres des champs donneront leurs fruits.
5 And it will reach of you threshing grape harvest and grape harvest it will reach seed and you will eat bread your to abundance and you will dwell to security in land your.
Le battage du blé se prolongera chez vous jusqu'à la vendange, et la vendange atteindra les semailles; vous mangerez votre pain à satiété, et vous habiterez en sécurité dans votre pays.
6 And I will give peace in the land and you will lie down and there not [will be one who] terrifies and I will cause to cease animal[s] wild from the land and a sword not it will pass in land your.
Je mettrai la paix dans le pays; vous dormirez sans que personne vous effraie. Je ferai disparaître du pays les bêtes féroces, et l'épée ne passera point à travers votre pays.
7 And you will pursue enemies your and they will fall before you to the sword
Vous poursuivrez vos ennemis, et ils tomberont devant vous par l'épée.
8 and they will pursue of you five one hundred and one hundred of you ten thousand they will pursue and they will fall enemies your before you to the sword.
Cinq d'entre vous en poursuivront cent, et cent d'entre vous en poursuivront dix mille, et vos ennemis tomberont devant vous par l'épée.
9 And I will turn to you and I will make fruitful you and I will multiply you and I will establish covenant my with you.
Je me tournerai vers vous, je vous rendrai féconds et je vous multiplierai, et j'établirai mon alliance avec vous.
10 And you will eat old harvest growing old and old harvest from before [the] new [harvest] you will bring out.
Vous mangerez des récoltes anciennes, très anciennes, et vous rejetterez l'ancienne pour faire place à la nouvelle.
11 And I will put dwelling place my in midst of you and not it will abhor self my you.
J'établirai ma demeure au milieu de vous, et mon âme ne vous prendra point en dégoût.
12 And I will walk about in midst of you and I will become for you God and you you will become for me a people.
Je marcherai au milieu de vous, je serai votre Dieu, et vous serez mon peuple.
13 I [am] Yahweh God your who I brought out you from [the] land of Egypt from being to them slaves and I broke [the] bars of yoke your and I made walk you upright.
Je suis Yahweh, votre Dieu, qui vous ai fait sortir du pays d'Egypte, pour que vous n'y fussiez plus esclaves; j'ai brisé les barres de votre joug et je vous ai fait marcher tête levée.
14 And if not you will listen to me and not you will do all the commandments these.
Mais si vous ne n'écoutez pas et ne mettez pas en pratique tous ces commandements,
15 And if statutes my you will reject and if judgments my it will abhor self your to not to do all commandments my to break you covenant my.
si vous méprisez mes lois, et si votre âme a en dégoût mes ordonnances, pour ne pas pratiquer tous mes commandements et pour violer mon alliance,
16 Also I I will do this to you and I will appoint on you sudden terror consumption and fever [which] cause to fail [the] eyes and [which] make pine away [the] life and you will sow to emptiness seed your and they will eat it enemies your.
voici à mon tour ce que je vous ferai: J'enverrai sur vous la terreur, la consomption et la fièvre, qui font languir les yeux et défaillir l'âme. Vous sèmerez en vain votre semence; vos ennemis la mangeront.
17 And I will set face my on you and you will be defeated before enemies your and they will rule over you [those who] hate you and you will flee and there not [is one who] pursues you.
Je tournerai ma face contre vous, et vous serez battus par vos ennemis; ceux qui vous haïssent domineront sur vous, et vous fuirez sans que personne vous poursuive.
18 And if up to these [things] not you will listen to me and I will repeat to discipline you sevenfold on sins your.
Si, après cela, vous ne m'écoutez pas, je vous châtierai sept fois plus pour vos péchés.
19 And I will break [the] pride of strength your and I will make heavens your like iron and land your like bronze.
Je briserai l'orgueil de votre force; je rendrai votre ciel comme de fer, et votre terre comme d'airain.
20 And it will be consumed to emptiness strength your and not it will give land your produce its and [the] tree[s] of the land not it will give fruit its.
Votre force se dépensera inutilement: votre terre ne donnera pas ses produits, et les arbres de la terre ne donneront pas leurs fruits.
21 And if you will walk with me contrariness and not you will be willing to listen to me and I will add to you a blow sevenfold according to sins your.
Si vous marchez encore contre moi et ne voulez pas m'écouter, je vous frapperai sept fois plus selon vos péchés.
22 And I will send among you [the] animal[s] of the field and it will make childless you and it will cut off livestock your and it will diminish you and they will be desolate roads your.
Je lâcherai contre vous les animaux sauvages, qui vous raviront vos enfants, déchireront votre bétail et vous réduiront à un petit nombre; et vos chemins deviendront déserts.
23 And if by these [things] not you will let yourself be disciplined by me and you will walk with me contrariness.
Si avec ces châtiments vous ne vous laissez pas corriger par moi et si vous marchez toujours contre moi,
24 And I will walk also I with you in contrariness and I will strike down you also I sevenfold on sins your.
à mon tour je marcherai contre vous, et je vous frapperai, moi aussi, sept fois plus pour vos péchés.
25 And I will bring on you a sword [which will] avenge vengeance of a covenant and you will gather to cities your and I will send a pestilence in midst of you and you will be given in [the] hand of an enemy.
Je ferai venir contre vous l'épée vengeresse de mon alliance; vous vous rassemblerez dans vos villes, et j'enverrai la peste au milieu de vous, et vous serez livrés aux mains de l'ennemi,
26 When break I of you staff of bread and they will bake ten women bread your in an oven one and they will bring back bread your by weight and you will eat and not you will be satisfied.
lorsque je vous retirerai le pain, votre soutien, que dix femmes cuiront votre pain dans un seul four et rendront votre pain au poids, et que vous mangerez sans être rassasiés.
27 And if in this not you will listen to me and you will walk with me in contrariness.
Si, après cela, vous ne m'écoutez pas et marchez encore contre moi,
28 And I will walk with you in anger of contrariness and I will discipline you also I sevenfold on sins your.
je marcherai contre vous avec fureur et je vous châtierai, moi aussi, sept fois plus pour vos péchés.
29 And you will eat [the] flesh of sons your and [the] flesh of daughters your you will eat.
Vous mangerez la chair de vos fils, et vous mangerez la chair de vos filles.
30 And I will destroy high places your and I will cut down incense altars your and I will put corpses your on [the] corpses of idols your and it will abhor self my you.
Je détruirai vos hauts lieux, j'abattrai vos stèles consacrées au soleil, je placerai vos cadavres sur les cadavres de vos infâmes idoles, et mon âme vous rejettera avec horreur.
31 And I will make cities your a waste place and I will devastate sanctuaries your and not I will smell [the] odor of soothing your.
Je réduirai vos villes en déserts, je ravagerai vos sanctuaires, et je ne respirerai plus l'odeur agréable de vos parfums.
32 And I will devastate I the land and they will be appalled on it enemies your who dwell in it.
Je dévasterai le pays, et vos ennemis qui l'habiteront en seront stupéfaits.
33 And you I will scatter among the nations and I will draw after you a sword and it will be land your a desolation and cities your they will be a waste place.
Et vous, je vous disperserai parmi les nations et je tirerai l'épée derrière vous; votre pays sera dévasté, et vos villes seront désertes.
34 Then it will accept the land sabbaths its all [the] days of (being made desolate it *L(a+bh)*) and you [will be] in [the] land of enemies your then it will cease the land and it will accept sabbaths its.
Alors la terre jouira de ses sabbats, tout le temps que durera sa solitude et que vous serez dans le pays de vos ennemis. Alors la terre se reposera et jouira de ses sabbats.
35 All [the] days of being made desolate it it will cease which not it ceased in sabbaths your when dwelt you on it.
Tout le temps qu'elle sera dévastée, elle aura le repos qu'elle n'avait pas eu dans vos sabbats, lorsque vous l'habitiez.
36 And those [who] remain among you and I will bring despair in heart their in [the] land of enemies their and it will pursue them [the] sound of a leaf driven about and they will flee a flight of a sword and they will fall and there not [is one who] pursues.
Ceux d'entre vous qui survivront, je leur mettrai au cœur l'épouvante, dans les pays de leurs ennemis: le bruit d'une feuille agitée les mettra en fuite; ils fuiront comme on fait devant l'épée, et ils tomberont sans qu'on les poursuive.
37 And they will stumble each over brother his as from before a sword and [is one who] pursues there not and not it will belong to you power to stand before enemies your.
Ils trébucheront les uns contre les autres comme devant l'épée, sans qu'on les poursuive; vous ne tiendrez point en présence de vos ennemis.
38 And you will perish among the nations and it will consume you [the] land of enemies your.
Vous périrez parmi les nations, et le pays de vos ennemis vous dévorera.
39 And those [who] remain among you they will rot away in iniquity their in [the] land of enemies your and also in [the] iniquities of ancestors their with them they will rot away.
Ceux d'entre vous qui survivront, se consumeront à cause de leurs iniquités, dans le pays de leurs ennemis; ils seront aussi consumés à cause des iniquités de leurs pères, lesquelles sont encore avec eux.
40 And they will confess iniquity their and [the] iniquity of ancestors their by unfaithfulness their which they acted unfaithfully against me and also that they walked with me in contrariness.
Ils confesseront leur iniquité et l'iniquité de leurs pères, dans les transgressions qu'ils ont commises contre moi, reconnaissant que c'est parce qu'ils ont marché contre moi
41 Also I I will walk with them in contrariness and I will bring them in [the] land of enemies their or then it will humble itself heart their uncircumcised and then they will accept iniquity their.
que moi aussi j'ai marché contre eux et les ai fait venir dans le pays de leurs ennemis. Si alors leur cœur incirconcis s'humilie, et qu'ils acceptent le châtiment de leurs fautes, je me souviendrai de mon alliance avec Jacob,
42 And I will remember covenant of my Jacob and also covenant of my Isaac and also covenant of my Abraham I will remember and the land I will remember.
je me souviendrai aussi de mon alliance avec Isaac et aussi de mon alliance avec Abraham, et je me souviendrai du pays.
43 And the land it will be forsaken from them and it may accept sabbaths its when is made desolate it from them and they they will accept iniquity their because and by cause judgments my they rejected and statutes my it abhorred self their.
Et le pays sera abandonné par eux et il jouira de ses sabbats, pendant qu'il sera dévasté loin d'eux, et ils accepteront le châtiment de leurs fautes, parce qu'ils ont méprisé mes ordonnances et que leur âme a eu mes lois en dégoût.
44 And also also this when are they in [the] land of enemies their not I will reject them and not I will abhor them to make an end of them to break covenant my with them for I [am] Yahweh God their.
Mais même ainsi, lorsqu'ils seront dans le pays de leurs ennemis, je ne les rejetterai pas et je ne les aurai point en dégoût jusqu'à les exterminer et à rompre mon alliance avec eux; car je suis Yahweh, leur Dieu.
45 And I will remember to them [the] covenant of [the] forefathers whom I brought out them from [the] land of Egypt to [the] eyes of the nations to become for them God I [am] Yahweh.
Je me souviendrai en leur faveur de l'alliance conclue avec leurs ancêtres, que j'ai fait sortir du pays d'Egypte, aux yeux des nations, pour être leur Dieu. Je suis Yahweh. "
46 These [are] the statutes and the judgments and the legal [procedures] which he gave Yahweh between himself and between [the] people of Israel on [the] mountain of Sinai by [the] hand of Moses.
Tels sont les statuts, les ordonnances et les lois que Yahweh établit entre lui et les enfants d'Israël, sur la montagne de Sinaï, par le ministère de Moïse.
