Leviticus 20
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse, disant:
2 And to [the] people of Israel you will say a person a person from [the] people of Israel and of the sojourner[s] - who sojourns in Israel who he will give any of offspring his to Molech certainly he will be put to death [the] people of the land they will stone him with stone[s].
Dis encore aux fils d'Israël: Si quelqu'un du peuple ou de ceux qui ont été faits prosélytes livre de ses enfants à Moloch, qu'il meure de mort, que les habitants de la terre le lapident.
3 And I I will set face my on the person that and I will cut off him from among people his for one of offspring his he has given to Molech so as to make unclean sanctuary my and to profane [the] name of holiness my.
Pour moi, je tournerai ma face contre cet homme, je l'exterminerai parmi son peuple, parce qu'il aura donné de ses enfants à Moloch, profané mes choses saintes, et souillé le nom des choses qui me sont consacrées.
4 And if certainly they will hide [the] people of the land eyes their from the person that when gives he one of offspring his to Molech to not to put to death him.
Si les fils d'Israël, habitant la terre, détournent leurs yeux de cet homme, pendant qu'il livre de ses enfants à Moloch, afin de ne pas le mettre à mort,
5 And I will set I face my on the person that and on clan his and I will cut off him and - all those [who] act as prostitutes after him by acting as prostitutes after Molech from among people their.
Je tournerai ma face contre cet homme et contre sa parente; je le détruirai avec tous ceux qui auront consenti à ce qu'il se prostitue aux princes; je les exterminerai parmi leur peuple.
6 And the person who it will turn to the necromancers and to the soothsayers to act as a prostitute after them and I will set face my on the person that and I will cut off him from among people his.
L'âme qui suivra les ventriloques et les enchanteurs pour se prostituer après eux, je tournerai contre elle ma face, et je la détruirai parmi son peuple.
7 And you will keep yourselves holy and you will be holy for I [am] Yahweh God your.
Vous serez saints, parce que je suis saint, moi le Seigneur voire Dieu.
8 And you will keep statutes my and you will do them I [am] Yahweh [who] sets apart as holy you.
Vous observerez mes préceptes et vous les mettrez en pratique; je suis le Seigneur qui vous sanctifie.
9 If a person a person who he will curse father his and mother his certainly he will be put to death father his and mother his he has cursed blood his [are] on him.
Quiconque profèrera une malédiction contre son père ou sa mère, qu'il meure de mort. A-t-il maudit son père ou sa mère, il est coupable.
10 And a man who he will commit adultery a wife of a man who he will commit adultery [the] wife of neighbor his certainly he will be put to death the adulterer and the adulteress.
Si un homme commet un adultère avec la femme d'autrui, avec la femme de son voisin, que l'on mette à mort l'homme et la femme adultères.
11 And a man who he will lie with [the] wife of father his [the] nakedness of father his he has uncovered certainly they will be put to death both of them blood their [are] on them.
Si un homme dort avec la femme de son père, s'il a mis a découvert la nudité de son père, que l'homme et la femme meurent de mort; ils sont coupables tous les deux.
12 And a man who he will lie with daughter-in-law his certainly they will be put to death both of them confusion they have done blood their [are] on them.
Si un homme dort avec sa bru, que l'un et l'autre meurent de mort; ils ont commis une impiété; ils sont coupables.
13 And a man who he will lie with a male [the] lyings of a woman an abomination they have done both of them certainly they will be put to death blood their [are] on them.
Si un homme a commerce avec un autre homme comme avec une femme, qu'il meurent de mort tous les deux; ils ont commis une abomination; ils sont coupables.
14 And a man who he will take a woman and mother her [is] wickedness it with fire people will burn him and them and not it will be wickedness in midst of you.
Si un homme prend pour femmes la fille et la mère de celle-ci, il a commis une abomination; qu'on le brûle vif avec les deux femmes, et l'iniquité ne sera point au milieu de vous.
15 And a man who he will give copulation his in an animal certainly he will be put to death and the animal you will kill.
Si un homme a commerce avec un quadrupède, qu'il meure de mort; tuez aussi la bête.
16 And a woman who she will draw near to any animal to stretch out with with it and you will kill the woman and the animal certainly they will be put to death blood their [are] on them.
Si une femme se fait approcher par un quadrupède, tuez la femme et la bête, qu'ils meurent de mort; ils sont coupables.
17 And a man who he will take sister his [the] daughter of father his or [the] daughter of mother his and he will see nakedness her and she she will see nakedness his [is] a shame it and they will be cut off to [the] eyes of [the] sons of people their [the] nakedness of sister his he has uncovered iniquity his he will bear.
Si un homme prend sa sœur consanguine ou utérine, s'il voit sa honte et si elle voit la sienne, ils sont coupables; ils seront exterminés en présence des membres de leur famille. L'homme a mis à découvert la nudité de sa sœur; ils porteront leur péché.
18 And a man who he will lie with a woman menstruating and he will uncover nakedness her spring her he has made naked and she she has uncovered [the] spring of blood her and they will be cut off both of them from among people their.
Si un homme a commerce avec une femme pendant ses menstrues, et qu'il ait mis sa nudité à découvert, ils seront tous les deux exterminés du sein de leur famille: lui, pour avoir dévoilé la fontaine; elle, pour avoir montré le flux de son sang.
19 And [the] nakedness of [the] sister of mother your and [the] sister of father your not you will uncover for relative his he has made naked iniquity their they will bear.
Tu ne mettras pas à découvert la nudité de ta sœur utérine et consanguine; car ceux qui mettent à nu leur parente porteront leur péché.
20 And a man who he will lie with aunt his [the] nakedness of uncle his he has uncovered sin their they will bear childless they will die.
Si quelqu'un a commerce avec une de ses parentes, et met a découvert la nudité de sa parenté, ils mourront l'un et l'autre sans enfants.
21 And a man who he will take [the] wife of brother his [is] impurity it [the] nakedness of brother his he has uncovered childless they will be.
Si quelqu'un prend la femme de son frère, c'est une impureté, il a mis à découvert la nudité de son frère; lui et cette femme mourront sans enfants.
22 And you will keep all statutes my and all judgments my and you will do them and not it will vomit up you the land where I [am] about to bring you there towards to dwell in it.
Vous observerez tous mes préceptes et mes jugements, vous les mettrez en pratique; et la terre en laquelle je vous conduis pour que vous l'habitiez, ne se soulèvera pas contre vous.
23 And not you will walk in [the] statutes of the nation which I [am] about to send away from before you for all these [things] they have done and I loathed them.
Vous ne marcherez point selon les lois des nations que je vais chasser devant vous, car elles ont fait toutes ces choses, et je les ai prises en abomination.
24 And I have said to you you you will take possession of ground their and I I will give it to you to take possession of it a land flowing of milk and honey I [am] Yahweh God your who I have separated you from the peoples.
Et je vous ai dit: Vous aurez leur terre pour héritage, je vous la donnerai en possession cette terre ou coulent le miel et le lait: je suis le Seigneur votre Dieu qui vous ai séparés de toutes les nations.
25 And you will separate between the animal[s] pure and unclean and between the bird[s] unclean and pure and not you will make detestable selves your by animal[s] and by bird[s] and by all that it creeps the ground which I have separated for you to declare unclean.
Et vous vous séparerez vous-mêmes, distinguant entre les bêtes pures et les bêtes impures, les oiseaux purs et les oiseaux impurs, et vous ne souillerez point vos âmes avec les bestiaux, les oiseaux ou les reptiles que je vous ai désignés comme impurs.
26 And you will be to me holy for [am] holy I Yahweh and I have separated you from the peoples to belong to me.
Et vous serez saints pour moi, parce que je suis saint, moi, le Seigneur votre Dieu, qui vous ai séparés de toutes les nations pour être à moi.
27 And a man or a woman that he will be among them a necromancer or a soothsayer certainly they will be put to death with stone[s] people will stone them blood their [are] on them.
Tout homme ou toute femme qui sera ventriloque ou enchanteur, mourra de mort; ils seront tous deux lapidés; ils sont coupables.
