Leviticus 18
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो,
2 Speak to [the] people of Israel and you will say to them I [am] Yahweh God your.
“इस्राएलका मानिसहरूलाई यसो भन्, ‘म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ ।
3 According to [the] deed[s] of [the] land of Egypt which you dwelt in it not you will do and according to [the] deed[s] of [the] land of Canaan where I [am] about to bring you there towards not you will do and in statutes their not you will walk.
तिमीहरू पहिले बसोबास गर्ने मिश्रका मानिसहरूले त्यहाँ जे गर्थे ती तिमीहरूले नगर्नू । मैले तिमीहरूलाई लैजान लागेको देश अर्थात् कनानका मानिसहरूले त्यहाँ जे गर्थे ती तिमीहरूले नगर्नू । तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूका रीतिरिवाजहरू नपछ्याउनू ।
4 Judgments my you will do and statutes my you will keep by walking in them I [am] Yahweh God your.
मेरो व्यवस्था तिमीहरूले पालन गर्नू, र मेरा आज्ञाहरू मान्नू, र तीअनुसार तिमीहरू हिँड्नू, किनभने म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ ।
5 And you will keep statutes my and judgments my which he will do them humankind and he will live by them I [am] Yahweh.
यसैकारण तिमीहरूले मेरा आज्ञाहरू मान्नू र मेरा व्यवस्था पालन गर्नू । ती पालन गर्ने मानिस तीद्वारा नै बाँच्दछ । म परमप्रभु हुँ ।
6 A man a man to any relative of flesh his not you will draw near to uncover nakedness I [am] Yahweh.
आफ्नो नजिकको नातेदारसँग सुतेर कसैले पनि आफ्नो नग्नता नदेखाओस् । म परमप्रभु हुँ ।
7 [the] nakedness of Father your and [the] nakedness of mother your not you will uncover [is] mother your she not you will uncover nakedness her.
आफ्नी आमासँग सुतेर आफ्ना बुबाको अनादार नगर्नू । त्यो तेरी आमा हो! तैँले त्यसलाई अनादर नगर् ।
8 [the] nakedness of [the] wife of Father your not you will uncover [is] [the] nakedness of father your it.
आफ्ना बुबाकी कुनै पत्नीसँग पनि नसुत् । त्यस्तो काम गरेर आफ्ना बुबाको अनादर नगर् ।
9 [the] nakedness of Sister your [the] daughter of father your or [the] daughter of mother your one born of house or one born outside not you will uncover nakedness their.
आफ्नी कुनै दिदी-बहिनीसँग नसुत्, चाहे त्यो तेरो बुबाकी छोरी वा आमाकी छोरी होस्, चाहे त्यो तेरो घरमा वा घरबाट टाढा हुर्काइएकी होस् । आफ्नी दिदी-बहिनीसँग नसुत् ।
10 [the] nakedness of [the] daughter of Son your or [the] daughter of daughter your not you will uncover nakedness their for [are] own nakedness your they.
आफ्नो छोरा वा छोरीको छोरीसँग नसुत् । त्यो तेरो निम्ति शर्मको कुरा हो ।
11 [the] nakedness of [the] daughter of [the] wife of Father your one born of father your [is] sister your she not you will uncover nakedness her.
आफ्ना बुबाकी पत्नीकी छोरीसँग नसुत्, जो तेरो बुबाबाट जन्मेकी थिई । त्यो तेरो बहिनी हो, र तँ त्योसँग नसुत् ।
12 [the] nakedness of [the] sister of Father your not you will uncover [is] a relative of father your she.
आफ्ना बुबाकी दिदी-बहिनीसँग नसुत् । त्यो तेरो बुबाको नजिकको नातेदार हो ।
13 [the] nakedness of [the] sister of Mother your not you will uncover for [is] a relative of mother your she.
आफ्नी आमाकी दिदी-बहिनीसँग नसुत् । त्यो तेरी आमाको नजिकको नातेदार हो ।
14 [the] nakedness of [the] brother of Father your not you will uncover to wife his not you will draw near [is] aunt your she.
आफ्ना बुबाको दाजु वा भाइकी पत्नीसँग सुतेर त्यसको अनादर नगर् । त्यस्तो कामको निम्ति त्यसको नजिक नजा, त्यो तेरी काकी हो ।
15 [the] nakedness of Daughter-in-law your not you will uncover [is] [the] wife of son your she not you will uncover nakedness her.
आफ्नी बुहारीसँग नसुत् । त्यो तेरो छोरोकी पत्नी हो, त्योसँग नसुत् ।
16 [the] nakedness of [the] wife of Brother your not you will uncover [is] [the] nakedness of brother your it.
आफ्नो दाजु वा भाइकी पत्नीसँग नसुत् । यस्तो काम गरेर त्यसको अनादर नगर् ।
17 [the] nakedness of A woman and daughter her not you will uncover [the] daughter of son her and [the] daughter of daughter her not you will take to uncover nakedness her [are] relative[s] they [is] wickedness it
कुनै स्त्री र त्यसकी छोरी दुवैसँग नसुत्, वा त्यसको छोराकी छोरीसँग वा त्यसकी छोरीकी छोरीसँग नसुत् । तिनीहरू त्यस स्त्रीका नजिकका नातेदार हुन् र तिनीहरूसँग सुत्नु दुष्टता हो ।
18 and a woman to sister her not you will take to make [her] a rival wife to uncover nakedness her with her in life her.
आफ्नी पत्नीकी दिदी वा बहिनीलाई विवाह नगर् र आफ्नो पहिलेकी पत्नी जीवितै हुँदासम्म त्यसकी दिदी वा बहिनीसँग नसुत् ।
19 And to a woman in [the] menstruous impurity of uncleanness her not you will draw near to uncover nakedness her.
कुनै स्त्रीको रजस्वलाको समयमा त्योसँग सहवास नगर् । त्यो समयमा त्यो अशुद्ध हुन्छे ।
20 And to [the] wife of fellow citizen your not you will give copulation your for seed to be unclean by her.
आफ्नो छिमेकीकी पत्नीसँग नसुत् र यसरी आफैलाई अशुद्ध नबना ।
21 And any of offspring your not you will give to make pass to Molech and not you will profane [the] name of God your I [am] Yahweh.
आफ्ना छोराछोरीहरूलाई मोलोखको निम्ति बलि गर्नलाई तिनीहरूलाई आगोमा नहाल्नू, किनभने तिमीहरूले यसो गरेर आफ्ना परमेश्वरको नाउँलाई अपवित्र नबनाउनू । म परमप्रभु हुँ ।
22 And a male not you will lie with [the] lyings of a woman [is] an abomination it.
स्त्रीसँगझैँ गरी अरू पुरुषहरूसँग नसुत्नू । यो दुष्टता हो ।
23 And in any animal not you will give copulation your to be unclean by it and a woman not she will stand before an animal to stretch out with it [is] confusion it.
कुनै पशुसँग सहवास गरेर आफैलाई अशुद्ध नबनाउनू । कुनै पनि स्त्री कुनै पशुसँग नसुत्नू । यो अस्वाभाविक दुराचरण हो ।
24 May not you defile yourselves by all these [things] for by all these [things] they have made themselves unclean the nations which I [am] about to send away from before you.
यस्ता कामहरू गरेर आफैलाई अपवित्र नबनाउनू, किनभने जुन जातिहरूलाई मैले तिमीहरूका सामुबाट निकाल्दै छु ती यी सबै कारणले अपवित्र भएका छन् ।
25 And it became unclean the land and I visited iniquity its on it and it vomited up the land inhabitants its.
तिनीहरूको भूमि अपवित्र भयो, र यसैकारण मैले तिनीहरूका पापको दण्ड दिएँ, र त्यस भूमिले त्यसका बासिन्दाहरूलाई उकेलेर निकालिदियो ।
26 And you will keep you statutes my and judgments my and not you will do any of all the abominations these the native-born and the sojourner who sojourns in midst of you.
यसैकारण, तिमीहरूले मेरा आज्ञाहरू र विधिहरू पालन गर्नू, र इस्राएलका स्वदेशी वा तिमीहरूका बिचमा बसोबास गर्ने परदेशी जोकोहीले कुनै पनि यस्ता घृणास्पद काम नगर्नू ।
27 For all the abominations these they did [the] people of the land who [were] before you and it became unclean the land.
तिमीहरूभन्दा अगि यस भूमिमा बसोबास गर्ने मानिसहरूले यस्तै दुष्ट काम गरे, र यसैकारण सारा देश नै अपवित्र भयो ।
28 And not it will vomit up the land you when make unclean you it just as it vomited up the nation which [was] before you.
तिमीहरूका अपवित्रताका कारण तिमीहरूभन्दा अगिका मानिसहरूलाई झैँ त्यस भूमिले तिमीहरूलाई पनि उकेलेर बाहिर ननिकालोस् ।
29 For every [one] who he will do any of all the abominations these and they will be cut off the persons who do [them] from among people their.
तिमीहरूमध्ये जो कोहीले यस्ता घृणास्पद कामहरू गर्दछन् भने, तिनीहरू आफ्ना मानिसहरूबाट बहिष्कृत हुने छन् ।
30 And you will keep duty my to not to do any of [the] customs of the abominations which they have been done before you and not you will make yourselves unclean by them I [am] Yahweh God your.
तिमीहरूभन्दा अगि यहाँ अभ्यास हुने गरेका कुनै यस्ता घृणास्पद रीतिरिवाजहरूलाई तिमीहरूले अभ्यास नगरेर मेरो आज्ञा पालन गर्नू अनि यसरी तिमीहरूले यस्ता कामले आफैलाई अपवित्र बनाउने छैनौ । म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ’ ।”
