Yahweh also said to Moses/me,
2 This it will be [the] legal [procedure] of the [one who] has a serious skin disease on [the] day of purification his and he will be brought to the priest.
“These are the regulations for anyone who has been healed of a contagious skin disease.

The person must be brought to a priest. The priest will take him outside the camp [to where that person has been staying], and examine him. If the skin disease has been healed,
4 And he will command the priest and someone will take for the [one] purifying himself two birds living pure and wood of cedar and scarlet of a worm and hyssop.

12 And he will take the priest the male lamb one and he will present it to a guilt offering and [the] log of oil and he will wave them a wave-offering before Yahweh.
“Then the priest must take one of the male lambs and lift it up, along with the olive oil, in front of me, to be a guilt offering—[an offering for his being guilty for not giving to me the things that he was required to give me].
13 And he will cut [the] throat of the male lamb in [the] place where someone cuts [the] throat of the sin offering and the burnt offering in [the] place of holiness for like the sin offering the guilt offering it [belongs] to the priest [is] a holy thing of holy things it.
Then the priest must slaughter the lamb in the sacred place where the other sacrifices are offered. Like the offering to enable people to be forgiven, this guilt offering is holy, and belongs to the priest.
14 And he will take the priest some of [the] blood of the guilt offering and he will put [it] the priest on [the] lobe of [the] ear of the [one] purifying himself right and on [the] thumb of hand his right and on [the] big toe of foot his right.

19 And he will offer the priest the sin offering and he will make atonement on the [one] purifying himself from uncleanness his and after he will cut [the] throat of the burnt offering.
“Then the priest must slaughter one of the other two animals, to show that the one who has been healed of the skin disease has been forgiven for having sinned, and that he has become acceptable to Yahweh. Then the priest will slaughter the animal that will be completely burned [on the altar].

He must put the rest of the oil that is in his hand on the head of the person who has been healed of a skin disease, to indicate that I have forgiven him for having sinned.
30 And he will offer the one of the turtle-doves or of [the] young ones of the dove from [that] which it will reach hand his.
Then the priest must sacrifice the doves or the pigeons, whichever that person has brought.

32 This [is] [the] legal [procedure] of [one] whom [was] in him a plague of a serious skin disease who not it will reach hand his for purification his.
“Those are the regulations for anyone who has a contagious skin disease and who is poor and cannot afford the usual offerings, in order that he can be with people again.”
33 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron saying.
Yahweh also said to Aaron and Moses/me,
34 That you will go into [the] land of Canaan which I [am] about to give to you to a possession and I will put a plague of a serious disease in [the] house of [the] land of possession your.
“I am about to give you Canaan land to belong to your people permanently. When you enter that land, there will be times when I cause/allow mildew to appear inside one of your houses.
35 And he will come [the one] whom [belongs] to him the house and he will tell to the priest saying like a plague it has appeared to me in the house.
If that happens, the owner of that house must go to the priest and tell him, ‘There is something in my house that looks like mildew.’
36 And he will command the priest and people will make clear the house before he will go the priest to see the plague and not it will be unclean all that [is] in the house and after thus he will go the priest to see the house.
“Then the priest will say to him, ‘Take everything out of the house before I enter the house to examine the mildew. If you do not do that, I will declare that everything in the house is contaminated.’
37 And he will see the plague and there! the plague [is] in [the] walls of the house depressions greenish or reddish and appearance their [is] deep more than the wall.
[After the owner takes everything outside of his house], the priest will go in and inspect the house. If the mildew has caused greenish or reddish spots/depressions on the walls that seem to be deeper than only on the surface of the walls,
38 And he will go out the priest from the house to [the] entrance of the house and he will shut up the house seven days.
the priest will go outside the house and lock it up for seven days.
39 And he will return the priest on the day seventh and he will see and there! it has spread the plague in [the] walls of the house.
On the seventh day, he must go into the house and inspect it again. If the mildew on the walls has spread,
40 And he will command the priest and people will tear out the stones which [is] in them the plague and they will throw them to from [the] outside of the city to a place unclean.
the priest will tell someone to tear out and throw in the dump outside the town all the stones in the walls that have mildew on them.
41 And the house he will scrape from inside all around and they will pour out the dust which they have scraped off to from [the] outside of the city to a place unclean.
Then the owner must scrape all the walls inside the house, and everything that is scraped off must be thrown into a dump outside the town.
42 And they will take stones other and they will bring [them] to in place of the stones and dust other he will take and he will plaster the house.
Then the owner must get new/other stones to replace the ones that had mildew on them, and take new clay and plaster [to cover the stones in the walls of] the house.
43 And if it will return the plague and it will break out in the house after tears out the stones and after has scraped the house and after was plastered.
“If the mildew appears again in the house after that is done,
44 And he will come the priest and he will see and there! it has spread the plague in the house [is] a serious disease malignant it in the house [is] unclean it.
the priest must go and examine the house again. If the mildew has spread inside the house, it will be clear that the mildew is the kind that destroys [houses], and no one will be allowed to live in it.
45 And he will pull down the house stones its and wood its and all [the] dust of the house and he will take [them] out to from [the] outside of the city to a place unclean.
It must be completely torn down—the stones, the timber and the plaster—and all those things must be thrown into a dump outside the town.
46 And the [one who] goes into the house all [the] days [which] he has shut up it he will be unclean until the evening.
“Anyone who goes into that house while it is locked up will not be allowed to be with other people until sunset of that day.
47 And the [one who] lies down in the house he will wash garments his and the [one who] eats in the house he will wash garments his.
Anyone who sleeps in that house or eats in that house [during that time] must wash his clothes.
48 And if indeed he will come the priest and he will see and there! not it has spread the plague in the house after was plastered the house and he will declare pure the priest the house for it has been healed the plague.
“But when the priest comes to examine the house after it has been plastered, if the mildew has not spread, he shall declare that people may live in it, because the mildew is gone.
49 And he will take to cleanse from sin the house two birds and wood of cedar and scarlet of a worm and hyssop.
But before people are allowed to live in it, the priest must take two small birds and some cedar wood and some red/scarlet yarn and some hyssop.
50 And he will cut [the] throat of the bird one into a vessel of earthenware over water living.
He must kill one of the birds while [holding it] over a clay pot containing water from a spring.
51 And he will take [the] wood of cedar and the hyssop and - [the] scarlet of the worm and the bird living and he will dip them in [the] blood of the bird [which] had the throat cut and in the water living and he will spatter [it] to the house seven times.
Then he must take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the red/scarlet yarn, and the other/living bird, and dip them into the blood of the dead bird, and sprinkle some of that blood on the house seven times.
52 And he will cleanse from sin the house with [the] blood of the bird and with the water living and with the bird living and with [the] wood of cedar and with the hyssop and with [the] scarlet of the worm.
By doing all those things he will cause the house to be acceptable to be lived in again.
53 And he will let go the bird living to from [the] outside of the city to [the] surface of the field and he will make atonement on the house and it will be pure.
Then he must release the other bird and allow it to fly away. By doing that, he will [finish the ritual for] causing the house to be acceptable for people to live in it again.
54 This [is] the legal [procedure] to every plague of serious skin disease and to scall.
“Those are the regulations for contagious diseases, for itching sores,
55 And to [the] serious disease of clothing and to house.
for mildew [DOU] on clothes or in a house,
56 And to swelling and to flaking skin and to bright spot.
and for swellings, rashes, or bright spots [on sores],
57 To teach on [the] day of the unclean [thing] and on [the] day of the pure [thing] this [is] [the] legal [procedure] of serious skin disease.
to find out whether a person has a contagious disease or not, and whether people will still be permitted to touch their clothing or their house, or not.”
