Leviticus 12
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
El Señor le dijo a Moisés: “Dales estas instrucciones a los israelitas.
2 Speak to [the] people of Israel saying a woman that she will bear a child and she will bear a male and she will be unclean seven days like [the] days of menstrous impurity of being unwell she she will be unclean.
Toda mujer que quede embarazada y tenga un niño, será impura durante una semana, de la misma manera que es impura durante su período.
3 And on the day eighth it will be circumcised [the] flesh of foreskin his.
El prepucio del niño debe ser circuncidado al octavo día.
4 And thirty day[s] and three days she will remain in [the] blood of purification any holy thing not she will touch and into the sanctuary not she will go until are completed [the] days of purification her.
La mujer debe esperar otros treinta y tres días para la purificación de su sangrado. No se le permite tocar nada sagrado, y no se le permite entrar en el santuario hasta que termine el tiempo de purificación.
5 And if a female she will bear and she will be unclean two weeks like menstruous impurity her and sixty day[s] and six days she will remain on [the] blood of purification.
Si una mujer tiene una hija, estará impura durante dos semanas, de la misma manera que lo está durante su período menstrual. La mujer debe esperar otros sesenta y seis días para la purificación de su sangre.
6 And when are completed - [the] days of purification her for a son or for a daughter she will bring a male lamb a son of year its to a burnt offering and a young one of a dove or a turtle-dove to a sin offering to [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting to the priest.
Una vez que el tiempo de purificación haya terminado para un hijo o una hija, la mujer debe traer un cordero de un año como ofrenda quemada y una paloma joven o una tórtola como ofrenda de purificación. Debe llevar sus ofrendas al sacerdote a la entrada del Tabernáculo de Reunión.
7 And he will present it before Yahweh and he will make atonement on her and she will be pure from [the] spring of blood her this [is] [the] legal [procedure] of the [woman who] gives birth for male or for female.
El sacerdote las presentará al Señor para purificarla y que quede limpia de su sangrado. Estas son las normas para una mujer después de haber tenido un hijo o una hija.
8 And if not it will find hand her sufficiency of a sheep and she will take two turtle-doves or two young ones of a dove one to a burnt offering and one to a sin offering and he will make atonement on her the priest and she will be pure.
“Si una mujer no puede permitirse traer un cordero, debe traer dos tórtolas o dos pichones. Una es para el holocausto y la otra para la ofrenda de purificación. El sacerdote las ofrecerá para purificarla, y ella quedará limpia”.
