Leviticus 12
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
Og HERREN talede til Moses og sagde:
2 Speak to [the] people of Israel saying a woman that she will bear a child and she will bear a male and she will be unclean seven days like [the] days of menstrous impurity of being unwell she she will be unclean.
Tal til Israeliterne og sig: Naar en Kvinde bliver frugtsommelig og føder en Dreng, skal hun være uren i syv Dage; ligesom i den Tid hun har sin maanedlige Urenhed, skal hun være uren.
3 And on the day eighth it will be circumcised [the] flesh of foreskin his.
Paa den ottende Dag skal Drengen omskæres paa sin Forhud.
4 And thirty day[s] and three days she will remain in [the] blood of purification any holy thing not she will touch and into the sanctuary not she will go until are completed [the] days of purification her.
Derefter skal hun holde sig hjemme i tre og tredive Dage, medens hun har sit Renselsesblod; hun maa ikke røre ved noget helligt eller komme til Helligdommen, før hendes Renselsestid er omme.
5 And if a female she will bear and she will be unclean two weeks like menstruous impurity her and sixty day[s] and six days she will remain on [the] blood of purification.
Føder hun derimod et Pigebarn, skal hun være uren i to Uger ligesom under sin maanedlige Urenhed; og derpaa skal hun holde sig hjemme i seks og tresindstyve Dage, medens hun har sit Renselsesblod.
6 And when are completed - [the] days of purification her for a son or for a daughter she will bring a male lamb a son of year its to a burnt offering and a young one of a dove or a turtle-dove to a sin offering to [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting to the priest.
Naar hendes Renselsestid er omme, skal hun, baade efter et Drengebarn og et Pigebarn, bringe et aargammelt Lam som Brændoffer og en Dueunge eller Turteldue som Syndoffer til Præsten ved Aabenbaringsteltets Indgang;
7 And he will present it before Yahweh and he will make atonement on her and she will be pure from [the] spring of blood her this [is] [the] legal [procedure] of the [woman who] gives birth for male or for female.
og han skal frembære det for HERRENS Aasyn og skaffe hende Soning, saa hun bliver ren efter sit Blodtab. Det er Loven om en Kvinde, der føder, hvad enten det er en Dreng eller en Pige.
8 And if not it will find hand her sufficiency of a sheep and she will take two turtle-doves or two young ones of a dove one to a burnt offering and one to a sin offering and he will make atonement on her the priest and she will be pure.
Men hvis hun ikke evner at give et Lam, skal hun tage to Turtelduer eller Dueunger, en til Brændoffer og en til Syndoffer, og Præsten skal skaffe hende Soning, saa hun bliver ren.
