Lamentations 1
1 How! - she sits alone the city great of people she has become like a widow ([one] great *L(abh)*) among the nations a princess among the provinces she has become forced labor.
Huru ligger den staden så öde, som full med folk var? Han är likasom en enka; den som en Förstinna ibland Hedningarna, och en Drottning i landen var, hon måste nu tjena.
2 Bitterly she weeps in the night and tear[s] her [are] on cheek her not [belongs] to her a comforter from all lovers her all friends her they have dealt treacherously with her they have become of her enemies.
Hon gråter om nattena, så att tårarna löpa neder på kindbenen; ingen är ibland alla hennes vänner, som hugsvalar henne; alle hennes näste förakta henne, och äro hennes fiender vordne.
3 She has gone into exile Judah from affliction and from an abundance of servitude her she dwells among the nations not she has found a resting place all pursuers her they have overtaken her between the narrow places.
Juda är fången i elände och svår träldom han bor ibland Hedningar, och finner ingen ro; alle hans förföljare fara illa med honom.
4 [the] roads of Zion [are] mourning because not [those who] come an appointed feast all gates her [are] desolate priests her [are] groaning virgins her [are] grieving and she it is bitter to her.
Vägarna till Zion ligga öde, efter ingen kommer till högtiden; alle hans portar stå öde, hans Prester sucka, hans jungfrur se ömkeliga ut, och han är bedröfvad.
5 They have become opponents her a head enemies her they are at ease for Yahweh he has caused grief to her on [the] multitude of transgressions her children her they have gone captivity before an opponent.
Hans ovänner sväfva allt i höjdene, hans fiendom går väl; ty Herren hafver gjort honom full med jämmer, för hans stora synders skull, och hans barn äro i fängelse bortdrefne för fiendanom.
6 And it has gone out (from from [the] daughter of *Q(K)*) Zion all splendor her they have become princes her like deer [which] not they have found pasture and they have gone with not strength before a pursuer.
All fägring är borto för dottrene Zion; hennes Förstar äro lika som vädrar, de der ingen bet finna, och gå vanmägtige för plågsrenom.
7 She has remembered Jerusalem [the] days of affliction her and homelessness her all precious things her which they were from days of antiquity when fell people her in [the] hand of an opponent and not a helper [belonged] to her they saw her opponents they laughed at annihilation her.
Jerusalem kommer ihåg i denna tid, huru elände och öfvergifven han är, och huru mycket godt han af ålder haft hafver, medan allt hans folk nederligger för fiendanom, och ingen är som hjelper; hans fiender se sina lust uppå honom, och bespotta hans Sabbather.
8 Sin she has sinned Jerusalem there-fore impurity she has become all [those who] honored her they despise her for they have seen nakedness her also she has groaned and she has turned away backward.
Jerusalem hafver syndat, derföre måste han vara lika som en oren qvinna. Alle de som ärade honom, de försmå honom nu, efter de se hans skam; men han suckar, och faller neder till markena.
9 Uncleanness her [was] on skirts her not she remembered outcome her and she has come down wonders not a comforter [belonged] to her see O Yahweh affliction my for it has magnified itself [the] enemy.
Hans orenlighet låder vid hans klädefållar; han hade icke trott att honom på sistone så gå skulle; han är ju allt för grufveliga nederstött, och hafver dertill ingen, som tröster honom. Ack Herre! se uppå mitt elände; ty fienden högmodas fast.
10 Hand his he has spread out [the] opponent over all precious things her for it saw nations [which] they went sanctuary its which you had commanded not they will come in the assembly of you.
Fienden hafver kommit sina hand vid alla hans klenodier; ty han måste se deruppå, att Hedningarna gingo in uti hans helgedom, om hvilka du budit hafver, att de icke skulle komma uti dina församling.
11 All people its [are] groaning [are] seeking bread they have given (precious things their *Q(K)*) for food to restore life see O Yahweh and look! for I am despised.
Allt hans folk suckar och går om bröd, sin klenodier gåfvo de för mat, på det de skulle vederqvicka själena. Ack Herre! se dock till, och skåda huru föraktelig jag vorden är.
12 Not to you O all [those who] pass by of [the] road look and see if there [is] pain like pain my which it has been done to me which he has caused grief Yahweh on [the] day of [the] burning of anger his.
Eder allom säger jag, som gån här framom: Skåder dock och ser till, om någor värk kan vara sådana som min värk, den mig så uppäter; ty Herren hafver gjort mig full med jämmer, på sine grymma vredes dag.
13 From a high place he sent fire in bones my and he mastered it he spread out a net for feet my he made turn back me backward he made me desolate all the day faint.
Han hafver sändt en eld af höjdene uti min ben, och låtit honom der mägtig vara; han hafver utsatt ett nät för mina fötter, och stött mig tillbaka; han hafver gjort mig till ett öde, så att jag sörja måste hela dagen.
14 It has been bound on [the] yoke of transgressions my by hand his they are woven together they have come up on neck my he has made feeble strength my he has given me [the] Lord in [the] hands of [those whom] not I am able to stand.
Mina svåra synder hafva uppvaknat genom hans straff, och alla tillsammans kommit mig uppå halsen, så att all min kraft mig förgås; Herren hafver så farit med mig, att jag icke mer uppkomma kan.
15 He has thrown away all mighty [ones] my - [the] Lord in midst my he has proclaimed on me an appointed meeting to break young men my a winepress he has trodden [the] Lord for [the] virgin of [the] daughter of Judah.
Herren hafver nedertrampat alla mina starka, som jag hade; han hafver låtit utropa öfver mig en högtid, till att förderfva mina unga män; Herren hafver låtit jungfruna, dottrena Juda, trampa en press.
16 On these [things] - I [am] weeping eye my - eye my [is] going down water for he is far from me a comforter [one who] restores life my they are children my desolate for he has prevailed [the] enemy.
Derföre gråter jag så, och båda min ögon flyta med vatten; ty hugsvalaren, som mina själ vederqvicka skulle, är långt bort ifrå mig. Min barn äro borto; ty fienden hafver öfverhandena fått.
17 It has spread out Zion hands its not a comforter [belongs] to it he has commanded Yahweh of Jacob [those] around him [will be] opponents his it has become Jerusalem an impure thing between them.
Zion räcker sina händer ut, och der är dock ingen, som honom tröster; ty Herren hafver budit allt omkring Jacob hans fiendom, att Jerusalem skall emellan dem vara lika som en oren qvinna.
18 [is] righteous He Yahweh for mouth his I have been rebellious listen please O all (the peoples *Q(K)*) and see pain my young women my and young men my they have gone in captivity.
Herren är rättfärdig, ty jag hafver varit hans mun ohörsam; hörer, all folk, och ser min värk; mina jungfrur och ynglingar äro gångne uti fängelse.
19 I called to lovers my they they deceived me priests my and elders my in the city they perished for they sought food for themselves so they may be restored life their.
Jag kallade på mina vänner, men de hafva bedragit mig; mine Prester och äldste i stadenom äro försmäktade; ty de gå om bröd, på det de skola vederqvicka sina själ.
20 See O Yahweh for distress [belongs] to me inward parts my they are in turmoil it has been overturned heart my in inner being my for extremely I have been rebellious from outside it has bereaved a sword [is] in the house like death.
Ack Herre! se dock huru bedröfvad jag är, att det gör mig ondt i allt mitt lif; mitt hjerta dänger i minom kropp, ty jag är uppfylld med stor bitterhet; ute hafver svärdet, och inne i husena döden gjort mig till en enko.
21 They heard that [was] groaning I not a comforter [belonged] to me all enemies my they heard distress my they rejoiced for you you have acted you have brought [the] day [which] you proclaimed and they may be like me.
Man hörer väl, att jag suckar, och hafver dock ingen tröstare; alle mine fiender höra mina olycko, och glädja sig, det gör du; så låt då den dagen komma, som du utropat hafver, att dem skall gå lika som mig.
22 May it come all wickedness their before you and deal severely to them just as you have dealt severely to me on all transgressions my for [are] many groaning my and heart my [is] faint.
Låt alla deras ondsko komma inför dig, och gör med dem, såsom du med mig, för alla mina missgerningars skull, gjort hafver; ty mitt suckande är stort, och mitt hjerta är bedröfvadt.
