1 Remember O Yahweh what? has it happened to us (look! *Q(K)*) and see reproach our.
Remember, O Jehovah, what is come upon us; consider, and see our reproach.
2 Inheritance our it has been turned over to strangers houses our to foreigners.
Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3 Fatherless ones we have become (and there not *Q(K)*) [is] a father mothers our [are] like widows.
We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows.
4 Water our for money we have drunk wood our for a price they come.
Our water have we to drink for money, our wood cometh unto us for a price.

Our pursuers are on our necks: we are weary, we have no rest.
6 Egypt we have given a hand Assyria to be satisfied bread.
We have given the hand to Egypt, [and] to Asshur, to be satisfied with bread.

Our fathers have sinned, [and] they are not; and we bear their iniquities.

Our skin gloweth like an oven, because of the burning heat of the famine.
11 Women in Zion men have humiliated virgins in [the] cities of Judah.
They have ravished the women in Zion, the maids in the cities of Judah.
12 Princes by hand their they have been hanged [the] face of elders not they have been honored.
Princes were hanged up by their hand; the faces of elders were not honoured.
13 Young men a mill they have lifted and young men with wood they have staggered.
The young men have borne the mill, and the youths have stumbled under the wood.
14 Old [men] from [the] gate they have ceased young men from music their.
The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their music.
15 It has ceased [the] joy of heart our it has been changed into mourning dancing our.
The joy of our heart hath ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.
16 It has fallen [the] crown of head our woe! please to us for we have sinned.
The crown is fallen from our head: woe unto us, for we have sinned!
17 On this it has become faint heart our on these [things] they have grown dim eyes our.
For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes have grown dim,
18 On [the] mountain of Zion that [is] desolate foxes they have prowled on it.
Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate: foxes walk over it.
19 You O Yahweh for ever you will sit throne your [is] to a generation and a generation.
Thou, Jehovah, dwellest for ever; thy throne is from generation to generation.
20 Why? to perpetuity do you forget us do you abandon? us for length of days.
Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, dost thou forsake us so long time?
21 Cause to return us O Yahweh - to yourself (so let us return *Q(K)*) renew days our like ancient time.
Turn thou us unto thee, Jehovah, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
22 That except certainly you have rejected us you are angry towards us up to muchness.
Or is it that thou hast utterly rejected us? Wouldest thou be exceeding wroth against us?
