Lamentations 3
1 I [am] the man [who] he has seen affliction by [the] rod of fury his.
Én vagyok a férfi, ki látta a nyomort indulatának vesszéjével.
2 Me he has driven and he has made walk darkness and not light.
Engem hajtott és elvitt sötétségben és nem világosságban.
3 Surely on me he returned he turned hand his all the day.
Bizony ellenem újra meg újra fordítja kezét egész nap.
4 He has made to waste away flesh my and skin my he has broken bones my.
Elenyésztette húsomat és bőrömet, összetörte csontjaimat.
5 He has built on me and he has surrounded [me] poison and hardship.
Épített ellenem és közrefogott méreggel és fáradalommal.
6 In dark places he has caused to dwell me like dead people of antiquity.
Sötét helyeken lakoztatott, mint őskornak holtjait.
7 He has walled up behind me and not I will go out he has made heavy bronze fetter[s] my.
Körülfalazott engem, s nem mehetek ki, súlyosította bilincsemet.
8 Also if I will cry out and I may cry for help he has shut out prayer my.
Ha kiáltok is és fohászkodom, elrekeszti imámat.
9 He has walled up ways my with hewn [stone] paths my he has made crooked.
Elfalazta útjaimat faragott kővel, elgörbítette ösvényeimet.
10 [is] a bear Lying in wait he to me (a lion *Q(K)*) in hiding places.
Leselkedő medve ő nekem, oroszlán a rejtekben.
11 Ways my he has caused to deviate and he has torn in pieces me he has made me desolate.
Útjaimat eltérítette, szétvagdalt engem, pusztává tett.
12 He has bent (bow his *L(abh)*) and he has set up me like target for arrow.
Megfeszítette íjját s odaállított engem mint czélt a nyilnak.
13 He has brought in kidneys my [the] sons of quiver his.
Bevitte veséimbe tegzének fiait.
14 I have become a laughingstock to all people my taunt song their all the day.
Nevetsége lettem egész népemnek, gúny daluk egész nap.
15 He has surfeited me with bitter things he has made drink me wormwood.
Jóllakatott engem keserűségekkel, megittasított ürömmel.
16 And he has broken with gravel teeth my he has made cower me in ash[es].
Megzúzta kaviccsal fogaimat, leszorított a hamuba.
17 And it has excluded from peace self my I have forgotten good.
Letett a békéről lelkem, elfelejtettem a jólétet.
18 And I said it has perished endurance my and hope my from Yahweh.
S mondtam: Elveszett az életerőm és várakozásom az Örökkévalótól.
19 Remember affliction my and homelessness my wormwood and poison.
Gondolj nyomoromra éa hontalanságomra; üröm és méreg!
20 Continually it remembers (so it may bow down *Q(K)*) on me self my.
Gondolva gondol rá és meggörnyed bennem a lelkem.
21 This I bring back to heart my there-fore I will wait.
Ezt veszem szivemre, azért várakozom.
22 [the] covenant loyalti of Yahweh for not we have met our end for not they come to an end compassion his.
Az Örökkévaló kegyei bizony nem fogytak el, bizony nem lett vége irgalmának.
23 [they are] new To the mornings [is] great faithfulness your.
Újak reggelenként, nagy a te hűséged!
24 [is] portion My Yahweh it has said self my there-fore I will wait for him.
Osztályrészem az Örökkévaló, mondta lelkem, azért várakozom reá.
25 [is] good Yahweh (to [those who] wait for him *Q(K)*) to anyone [who] it will seek him.
Jóságos az Örökkévaló az őt remélőkhez, a lélekhez, mely őt keresi.
26 [is] good And waiting and silently for [the] salvation of Yahweh.
Jó, midőn hallgatagon várakozik az Örökké való segedelmére.
27 [is] good For man that he will bear a yoke in youth his.
Jó a férfinak, midőn jármot visel, ifju korában!
28 Let him sit alone and let him be silent for he has laid [it] on him.
Magánosan üljön és hallgasson, mert ő vetette rá.
29 Let him put in the dust mouth his perhaps there [is] hope.
Porba tegye száját – hátha van remény.
30 Let him give to [the] [one who] strikes him a cheek let him be sated with reproach.
Odaadja orczáját az őt ütőnek, lakjék jól gyalázattal.
31 For not he will reject for ever [the] Lord.
Mert nem vet el örökre az Úr.
32 That except he has caused grief and he will have compassion according to [the] greatness of (covenant loyalti his. *Q(K)*)
Mert ha bút okozott, majd irgalmaz kegyei bősége szerint.
33 For not he has afflicted from heart his and he has grieved ([the] children of *L(abh)*) a man.
Mert nem szíve szerint sanyargatta és búsította az ember fiait,
34 To crush under feet his all [the] prisoners of [the] land.
hogy valaki lesújtja lábai alá mind az ország foglyait,
35 To turn aside [the] justice of a man before [the] presence of [the] Most High.
hogy elhajlítja a férfi jogát a legfelsőnek színe előtt;
36 To subvert anyone in case at law his [the] Lord not he has seen.
hogy elgörbíti az embert pörében – nem látta volna az Úr?
37 Who? this has he spoken and it was [the] Lord not he commanded [it].
Ki az, ki mondta, és lett, amit az Úr nem parancsolt volna?
38 From [the] mouth of [the] Most High not does it goes forth? the troubles and the good.
A Legfelsőnek szájából nem származik-e a rossz és a jó?
39 Why? will he complain a person living a man on (sins his. *Q(K)*)
Hát mit panaszkodik az ember, míg él, a férfi az ő vétkei mellett?
40 Let us examine ways our and let us examine and let us return to Yahweh.
Kutassuk át utainkat s vizsgáljuk meg, bogy megtérjünk az Örökkévalóhoz!
41 Let us lift up heart our to palms to God in the heavens.
Emeljük fel szivünket kezeinkkel együtt Istenhez az égben!
42 We we have transgressed and we have rebelled you not you have forgiven.
Mi el pártoltunk és engedetlenkedtünk, te nem bocsátottál meg.
43 You have covered yourself with anger and you have pursued us you have killed not you have spared.
Haragban elfödted magadat s üldöztél minket, öltél, nem sajnáltál.
44 You have covered with cloud yourself from passing through prayer of.
Elfödted magadat felhővel; hogy át nem hatott imádság.
45 Scouring and refuse you have made us in [the] midst of the peoples.
Szemétté és megvetéssé tettél minket a népek közt.
46 They have opened on us mouth their all enemies our.
Szájukat nyitották reánk mind az ellenségeink.
47 Terror and a pit it has happened to us devastation and brokenness.
Rettegés és örvény jutott nekünk, a pusztulás és romlás.
48 Streams of water it goes down eye my on [the] brokenness of [the] daughter of people my.
Vizpatakoktól folyik szét szemem népem leányának romlása miatt.
49 Eye my it has poured itself and not it will cease from not stop.
Szemem elomlott s nem csillapodott, szünet nélkül,
50 Until he will look down and he will see Yahweh from heaven.
míg le nem tekint és nem látja az Örökkévaló az égből.
51 Eye my it has dealt severely to self my from all [the] daughters of city my.
Szemem bút okozott lelkemnek városomnak mind a leányai miatt.
52 Certainly they hunted me like bird enemies my without cause.
Vadászva vadásztak rám, mint madárra, ok nélkül való ellenségim.
53 They destroyed in the pit life my and they threw down a stone on me.
Gödörbe szorították éltemet s követ hajítottak reám.
54 They overflowed waters over head my I said I have been cut off.
Vizek áradtak fejem fölé, azt mondtam: el vagyok veszve.
55 I called name your O Yahweh from a pit of lowest parts.
Szólítottam nevedet, Örökkévaló, mélységes gödörből.
56 Voice my you heard may not you hide ear your to relief my to cry for help my.
Szavamat hallottad, ne rejtsd el füledet, szabadulásom kedvéért, fohászom elől!
57 You drew near on [the] day [when] I called on you you said may not you fear.
Közel voltál, amely napon hívtalak, azt mondtad: ne félj!
58 You have conducted O Lord [the] cases of self my you have redeemed life my.
Vitted, Uram, lelkem ügyeit, megváltottad éltemet.
59 You have seen O Yahweh oppression my judge! judgment my.
Láttad, Örökkévaló, bántalmamat, szerezz jogot nekem!
60 You have seen all vengeance their all plans their to me.
Láttad minden boszúállásukat, mind az ő gondolataikat ellenem.
61 You have heard reproach their O Yahweh all plans their on me.
Hallottad gyalázásukat, Örökkévaló, mind az ő gondolataikat ellenem.
62 [the] lips of [those who] rise against Me and muttering their on me all the day.
Támadóim ajkai és elmélkedésük ellenem vannak egész nap.
63 Sitting their and rising their look at! I [am] mocking song their.
Ültöket és keltöket tekintsd, én vagyok gúnydaluk.
64 You will repay to them recompense O Yahweh according to [the] work of hands their.
Viszonozd nekik tettüket, Örökkévaló, kezeik műve szerint!
65 You will give to them shamelessness of heart curse your [may it belong] to them.
Adjad nekik szívnek elborulását: átkodat nekik!
66 You will pursue [them] in anger and you will destroy them from under [the] heavens of Yahweh.
Üldözd haragban és semmisítsd meg őket az Örökkévaló egei alól!
