Judges 9
1 And he went Abimelech [the] son of Jerub-Baal Shechem towards to [the] brothers of mother his and he spoke to them and to all [the] clan of [the] house of [the] father of mother his saying.
Abimelech o filho de Jerubbaal foi a Shechem ter com os irmãos de sua mãe, e falou com eles e com toda a família da casa do pai de sua mãe, dizendo:
2 Speak please in [the] ears of all [the] citizens of Shechem what? [is] good for you ¿ to rule over you seventy man all [the] sons of Jerub-Baal or? to rule over you a man one and you will remember that [am] bone your and flesh your I.
“Por favor, fale aos ouvidos de todos os homens de Shechem: 'É melhor para você que todos os filhos de Jerubbaal, que são setenta pessoas, governem sobre você, ou que um governe sobre você? Lembre-se também que eu sou seu osso e sua carne”.
3 And they spoke [the] brothers of mother his on him in [the] ears of all [the] citizens of Shechem all the words these and it turned aside heart their after Abimelech for they said [is] brother our he.
Os irmãos de sua mãe falaram dele aos ouvidos de todos os homens de Shechem todas estas palavras. Seus corações inclinados a seguir Abimelech; pois eles disseram: “Ele é nosso irmão”.
4 And they gave to him seventy silver (from [the] house of Baal-*L(abh)*) Berith and he hired for them Abimelech men unprincipled and undisciplined and they went after him.
Eles lhe deram setenta moedas de prata da casa de Baal Berith, com a qual Abimelech contratou companheiros vaidosos e imprudentes que o seguiram.
5 And he went [the] house of father his Ophrah towards and he killed brothers his [the] sons of Jerub-Baal (seventy *L(abh)*) man on stone one and he was left Jotham [the] son of Jerub-Baal young for he hid himself.
Ele foi à casa de seu pai em Ophrah, e matou seus irmãos, os filhos de Jerubbaal, sendo setenta pessoas, de uma cajadada só; mas Jotham, o filho mais novo de Jerubbaal, ficou, pois ele se escondeu.
6 And they gathered all [the] citizens of Shechem and all Beth Millo and they went and they made king Abimelech to king near [the] great tree set up which [was] in Shechem.
Todos os homens de Siquém se reuniram com toda a casa de Millo, e foram e fizeram Abimelech rei junto ao carvalho do pilar que estava em Siquém.
7 And people told to Jotham and he went and he stood on [the] top of [the] mountain of Gerizim and he lifted up voice his and he called out and he said to them listen to me O citizens of Shechem so he may listen to you God.
Quando o disseram a Jotham, ele foi e ficou no topo do Monte Gerizim e levantou sua voz, gritou, e disse-lhes: “Escutem-me, homens de Siquém, para que Deus os escute”.
8 Certainly they went the trees to anoint over them a king and they said to the olive tree (reign! *Q(k)*) over us.
As árvores partiram para ungir um rei sobre si mesmas. Disseram à oliveira: “Reine sobre nós”.
9 And it said to them the olive tree ¿ will I cease fatness my which by me people honor gods and men and will I go to sway over the trees.
“Mas a oliveira lhes disse: “Devo parar de produzir meu azeite, com o qual eles honram a Deus e ao homem por mim, e ir acenar para frente e para trás sobre as árvores?
10 And they said the trees to the fig tree come you reign over us.
“As árvores disseram à figueira: “Venha e reine sobre nós”.
11 And it said to them the fig tree ¿ will I cease sweetness my and fruit my good and will I go to sway over the trees.
“Mas a figueira lhes disse: “Devo deixar minha doçura e meus bons frutos e ir acenar para frente e para trás sobre as árvores?
12 And they said the trees to the vine come you (reign *Q(k)*) over us.
“As árvores disseram à videira: “Venha e reine sobre nós”.
13 And it said to them the vine ¿ will I cease new wine my which makes glad gods and men and will I go to sway over the trees.
“A videira disse-lhes: “Devo deixar meu novo vinho, que alegra a Deus e ao homem, e ir acenar para frente e para trás sobre as árvores?
14 And they said all the trees to the thorn bush come you reign over us.
“Então todas as árvores disseram ao silvado: “Venha e reine sobre nós”.
15 And it said the thorn bush to the trees if in truth you [are] anointing me to king over you come take refuge in shade my and if not let it go out a fire from the thorn bush and let it consume [the] cedars of Lebanon.
“O silvado disse às árvores: 'Se na verdade me unges rei sobre ti, então vem e refugia-te à minha sombra; e se não, deixa sair fogo do silvado, e devora os cedros do Líbano'.
16 And now if in faithfulness and in integrity you have acted and you have made king Abimelech and if good you have done with Jerub-Baal and with house his and if according to [the] dealing of hands his you have done to him.
“Agora, portanto, se você tratou verdadeira e justamente, no sentido de fazer rei Abimelech, e se você tratou bem com Jerubbaal e sua casa, e fez a ele de acordo com o merecimento de suas mãos
17 That he fought father my on you and he threw life his from in front and he delivered you from [the] hand of Midian.
(pois meu pai lutou por você, arriscou sua vida, e o libertou da mão de Midian;
18 And you you have risen up on [the] house of father my this day and you have killed sons his seventy man on stone one and you have made king Abimelech [the] son of female slave his over [the] citizens of Shechem for [is] brother your he.
e você se levantou hoje contra a casa de meu pai e matou seus filhos, setenta pessoas, de uma cajadada só, e fez rei Abimelech, filho de sua serva, sobre os homens de Siquém, porque ele é seu irmão);
19 And if in faithfulness and in integrity you have acted with Jerub-Baal and with house his the day this rejoice in Abimelech so he may rejoice also he in you.
se você então lidou verdadeira e justamente com Jerubaal e com sua casa hoje, então alegre-se em Abimeleque, e que ele também se alegre em você;
20 And if not let it go out a fire from Abimelech and let it consume [the] citizens of Shechem and Beth Millo and let it go out a fire from [the] citizens of Shechem and from Beth Millo and let it consume Abimelech.
mas se não, que o fogo saia de Abimeleque e devore os homens de Siquém e a casa de Millo; e que o fogo saia dos homens de Siquém e da casa de Millo e devore Abimeleque.”
21 And he fled Jotham and he ran away and he went Beer towards and he dwelt there [away] from before Abimelech brother his.
Jotham fugiu e fugiu, e foi para Beer e viveu lá, por medo de Abimelech, seu irmão.
22 And he ruled Abimelech over Israel three years.
Abimelech foi príncipe sobre Israel por três anos.
23 And he sent God a spirit evil between Abimelech and between [the] citizens of Shechem and they dealt treacherously [the] citizens of Shechem with Abimelech.
Então Deus enviou um espírito maligno entre Abimeleque e os homens de Siquém; e os homens de Siquém trataram traiçoeiramente Abimeleque,
24 To come [the] violence of seventy [the] sons of Jerub-Baal and blood their to put on Abimelech brother their who he killed them and on [the] citizens of Shechem who they strengthened hands his to kill brothers his.
para que a violência feita aos setenta filhos de Jerubaal pudesse vir, e para que seu sangue fosse derramado sobre Abimeleque, seu irmão que os matou, e sobre os homens de Siquém que fortaleceram suas mãos para matar seus irmãos.
25 And they set to him [the] citizens of Shechem ambushers on [the] tops of the mountains and they robbed every [one] who he passed by on them on the road and it was told to Abimelech.
Os homens de Siquém montaram uma emboscada para ele no topo das montanhas, e roubaram todos os que vieram por ali; e Abimelech foi informado sobre isso.
26 And he came Gaal [the] son of Ebed and brothers his and they passed on in Shechem and they trusted in him [the] citizens of Shechem.
Gaal, filho de Ebed, veio com seus irmãos e foi para Shechem; e os homens de Shechem depositaram nele sua confiança.
27 And they went out the field and they gathered grapes vineyards their and they trod [them] and they made rejoicings and they went [the] house of god their and they ate and they drank and they cursed Abimelech.
Eles saíram para o campo, colheram seus vinhedos, pisaram as uvas, comemoraram, entraram na casa de seu deus e comeram e beberam, e amaldiçoaram Abimelech.
28 And he said - Gaal [the] son of Ebed who? [is] Abimelech and who? [is] Shechem that we will serve him ¿ not [is he] [the] son of Jerub-Baal and [is] Zebul? deputy his serve [the] men of Hamor [the] father of Shechem and why? will we serve him we.
Gaal o filho de Ebed disse: “Quem é Abimelech, e quem é Shechem, que devemos servi-lo? Ele não é o filho de Jerubbaal? Zebul não é o oficial dele? Servir aos homens de Hamor, o pai de Siquém, mas por que devemos servi-lo?
29 And who? will he give the people this in hand my and I will remove Abimelech and he said of Abimelech make numerous army your and come out!
Gostaria que este povo estivesse sob minhas mãos! Então eu removeria Abimelech”. Ele disse a Abimelech: “Aumente seu exército e saia!”
30 And he heard Zebul [the] official of the city [the] words of Gaal [the] son of Ebed and it burned anger his.
Quando Zebul, o governante da cidade, ouviu as palavras de Gaal, o filho de Ebed, sua raiva ardeu.
31 And he sent messengers to Abimelech in treachery saying here! Gaal [the] son of Ebed and brothers his [are] coming Shechem towards and here they [are] shutting up the city on you.
Ele enviou mensageiros a Abimelech com astúcia, dizendo: “Eis que Gaal, filho de Ebede, e seus irmãos chegaram a Siquém; e eis que eles incitam a cidade contra ti.
32 And therefore arise night you and the people which [is] with you and lie in wait in the field.
Agora, portanto, suba à noite, você e as pessoas que estão com você, e fique à espera no campo.
33 And it will be in the morning when rises the sun you will rise early and you will make a raid on the city and there! he and the people which [is] with him [are] going out against you and you will do to him just as it will find hand your.
Será que pela manhã, assim que o sol nascer, vocês se levantarão cedo e se apressarão sobre a cidade. Eis que, quando ele e as pessoas que estão com ele saírem contra vocês, façam a eles o que encontrarem ocasião”.
34 And he arose Abimelech and all the people which [was] with him night and they lay in wait on Shechem four companies.
Abimelech se levantou, e todas as pessoas que estavam com ele, à noite, e esperaram contra Shechem em quatro empresas.
35 And he went out Gaal [the] son of Ebed and he stood [the] entrance of [the] gate of the city and he arose Abimelech and the people which [was] with him from the ambush.
Gaal, o filho de Ebed, saiu, e ficou na entrada do portão da cidade. Abimelech se levantou, e as pessoas que estavam com ele, da emboscada.
36 And he saw Gaal the people and he said to Zebul there! a people [is] coming down from [the] tops of the mountains and he said to him Zebul [the] shadow of the mountains you [are] seeing like men.
Quando Gaal viu o povo, disse a Zebul: “Eis que as pessoas estão descendo dos cumes das montanhas”. Zebul disse-lhe: “Você vê as sombras das montanhas como se fossem homens”.
37 And he repeated again Gaal to speak and he said there! a people [are] coming down from with [the] center of the land and a company one [is] coming from [the] direction of [the] great tree of [the] soothsayer.
Gaal falou novamente e disse: “Eis que as pessoas estão descendo pelo meio da terra, e uma empresa vem pelo caminho do carvalho de Meonenim”.
38 And he said to him Zebul where? then [is] mouth your O [you] who you said who? [is] Abimelech that we will serve him ¿ not [is] this the people which you rejected it go out please now and fight against him.
Então Zebul lhe disse: “Agora onde está sua boca, que você disse: 'Quem é Abimelech, que nós devemos servi-lo? Não é este o povo que você desprezou? Por favor, saia agora e lute com elas”.
39 And he went out Gaal before [the] citizens of Shechem and he fought against Abimelech.
Gaal saiu antes dos homens de Shechem, e lutou com Abimelech.
40 And he pursued him Abimelech and he fled from before him and they fell [those] fatally wounded many to [the] entrance of the gate.
Abimelech o perseguiu, e ele fugiu diante dele, e muitos caíram feridos, até a entrada do portão.
41 And he dwelt Abimelech at Arumah and he drove out Zebul Gaal and brothers his from dwelling at Shechem.
Abimelech vivia em Arumah; e Zebul expulsou Gaal e seus irmãos, para que não morassem em Siquém.
42 And it was from [the] next day and it went out the people the field and people told to Abimelech.
No dia seguinte, as pessoas saíram para o campo; e disseram a Abimelech.
43 And he took the people and he divided them into three companies and he lay in wait in the field and he saw and there! the people [was] going out from the city and he rose up on them and he struck down them.
Ele pegou as pessoas e as dividiu em três empresas, e as colocou à espera no campo; e olhou, e eis que as pessoas saíram da cidade. Então, ele se levantou contra eles e os golpeou.
44 And Abimelech and the companies which [were] with him they made a raid and they stood [the] entrance of [the] gate of the city and [the] two the companies they made a raid on all [those] who [were] in the field and they struck down them.
Abimelech e as empresas que estavam com ele correram para frente e ficaram na entrada do portão da cidade; e as duas empresas correram sobre todos os que estavam no campo e os atingiram.
45 And Abimelech [was] fighting against the city all the day that and he captured the city and the people which [was] in it he killed and he pulled down the city and he sowed it salt.
Abimelech lutou contra a cidade durante todo aquele dia; e ele tomou a cidade e matou as pessoas dentro dela. Ele derrubou a cidade e a semeou com sal.
46 And they heard all [the] citizens of [the] tower of Shechem and they went into [the] underground chamber of [the] house of El-Berith.
Quando todos os homens da torre de Shechem ouviram falar dela, entraram na fortaleza da casa de Elberith.
47 And it was told to Abimelech that they had gathered together all [the] citizens of [the] tower of Shechem.
Abimelech foi informado de que todos os homens da torre de Shechem estavam reunidos.
48 And he went up Abimelech [the] mountain of Zalmon he and all the people which [was] with him and he took Abimelech the axes in hand his and he cut off a branch of wood and he lifted up it and he put [it] on shoulder his and he said to the people which [was] with him whatever you have seen I have done hurry do like me.
Abimelech subiu ao Monte Zalmon, ele e todas as pessoas que estavam com ele; e Abimelech pegou um machado na mão, cortou um ramo das árvores, levou-o para cima e o colocou sobre seu ombro. Então ele disse às pessoas que estavam com ele: “O que vocês me viram fazer, apressem-se, e façam como eu fiz!
49 And they cut off also all the people everyone own branch his and they went after Abimelech and they put [them] over the underground chamber and they set on fire over them the underground chamber with fire and they died also all [the] men of [the] tower of Shechem about a thousand man and woman.
Todas as pessoas do mesmo modo, cada uma cortou seu ramo, seguiu Abimelech, e os colocou na base da fortaleza, e incendiou a fortaleza sobre eles, de modo que todo o povo da torre de Shechem também morreu, cerca de mil homens e mulheres.
50 And he went Abimelech to Thebez and he encamped at Thebez and he captured it.
Então Abimelech foi até Thebez e acampou contra Thebez, e a levou.
51 And a tower of strength it was in [the] middle of the city and they fled there towards all the men and the women and all [the] citizens of the city and they shut [the] door behind them and they went up on [the] roof of the tower.
Mas havia uma torre forte dentro da cidade, e todos os homens e mulheres da cidade fugiram para lá, fecharam-se e subiram para o telhado da torre.
52 And he came Abimelech to the tower and he fought against it and he drew near to [the] entrance of the tower to burn it with fire.
Abimelech chegou à torre e lutou contra ela, e se aproximou da porta da torre para queimá-la com fogo.
53 And she threw a woman one a mill-stone of an upper mill-stone on [the] head of Abimelech and it crushed skull his.
Uma certa mulher jogou uma pedra de moinho superior na cabeça de Abimelech e quebrou seu crânio.
54 And he called quickly to the young man - [who] carried armor his and he said to him draw sword your and kill me lest people should say of me a woman she killed him and he pierced through him young man his and he died.
Então ele chamou apressadamente o jovem, seu portador de armadura, e lhe disse: “Saque sua espada e mate-me, que os homens não digam de mim: 'Uma mulher o matou'”. Seu jovem o empurrou, e ele morreu”.
55 And they saw [the] man of Israel that he was dead Abimelech and they went everyone to own place his.
Quando os homens de Israel viram que Abimelech estava morto, cada um deles partiu para seu lugar.
56 And he repaid God [the] evil of Abimelech which he had done to father his by killing seventy brothers his.
Thus Deus retribuiu a maldade de Abimeleque, o que ele fez com seu pai ao matar seus setenta irmãos;
57 And all [the] evil of [the] men of Shechem he repaid God on head their and it came to them [the] curse of Jotham [the] son of Jerub-Baal.
e Deus retribuiu toda a maldade dos homens de Siquém sobre suas cabeças; e a maldição de Jotão, filho de Jerubbaal, veio sobre eles.
