< Judges 4 >

1 And they repeated [the] people of Israel to do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and Ehud he had died.
A, ka mate a Ehuru, ka mahi kino ano nga tamariki a Iharaira i te tirohanga a Ihowa.
2 And he sold them Yahweh in [the] hand of Jabin [the] king of Canaan who he reigned in Hazor and [was] [the] commander of army his Sisera and he [was] dwelling in Harosheth Haggoyim.
3 And they cried out [the] people of Israel to Yahweh for nine hundred chariot[s] of iron [belonged] to him and he he oppressed [the] people of Israel with force twenty year[s].
Na ka tangi nga tamariki a Iharaira ki a Ihowa: e iwa rau nei hoki ana hariata rino, a e rua tekau nga tau i tukinotia rawatia ai e ia nga tamariki a Iharaira.
4 And Deborah a woman a prophetess [the] wife of Lappidoth she [was] judging Israel at the time that.
A ko Tepora poropiti, wahine a Rapiroto, ko ia te kaiwhakarite o Iharaira i taua wa.
5 And she [was] dwelling under [the] palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and between Beth-el in [the] hill country of Ephraim and they went up to her [the] people of Israel for judgment.
6 And she sent and she summoned Barak [the] son of Abinoam from Kedesh Naphtali and she said to him ¿ not has he commanded - Yahweh [the] God of Israel go and you will march at [the] mountain of Tabor and you will take with you ten thousand man from [the] descendants of Naphtali and of [the] descendants of Zebulun.
Na ka tono tangata ia hei karanga i a Paraka tama a Apionoama i Kerehe Napatari, a ka mea ki a ia, Kihai ianei a Ihowa, te Atua o Iharaira i whakahau, Haere whakatata atu ki Maunga Taporo, mauria hoki hei hoa mou kia tekau mano tangata o nga tama riki a Napatari, o nga tamariki hoki a Hepurona?
7 And I will draw to you to [the] wadi of Kishon Sisera [the] commander of [the] army of Jabin and chariotry his and multitude his and I will give him in hand your.
A maku e kukume atu ki a koe ki te awa, ki Kihona a Hihera rangatira o te ope a Iapini, me ana hariata, me ona mano; ka hoatu ano hoki e ahau ki tou ringa.
8 And he said to her Barak if you will go with me and I will go and if not you will go with me not I will go.
Na ka mea a Paraka ki a ia, Ki te haere tahi koe i ahau, ka haere ahau; ki te kahore ia koe e haere tahi i ahau, e kore ahau e haere.
9 And she said certainly I will go with you nevertheless for not it will be honor your on the way which you [are] going for in [the] hand of a woman he will sell Yahweh Sisera and she rose Deborah (and she went *L(abh)*) with Barak Kedesh towards.
10 And he summoned Barak Zebulun and Naphtali Kedesh towards and it went up at feet his ten thousand man and she went up with him Deborah.
Katahi ka karangarangatia a Hepurona raua ko Napatari e Paraka ki Kerehe; a kotahi tekau mano nga tangata i haere i raro i ona waewae: i haere tahi ano hoki a Tepora i a ia.
11 And Heber the Kenite [was] separate from [the] Kenite[s] from [the] descendants of Hobab [the] father-in-law of Moses and he had pitched tent his to [the] great tree (in Zaanannim *Q(K)*) which [is] with Kedesh.
12 And people told to Sisera that he had gone up Barak [the] son of Abinoam [the] mountain of Tabor.
A ka korerotia e ratou ki a Hihera, kua riro a Paraka tama a Apioama ki runga ki Maunga Taporo;
13 And he summoned Sisera all chariotry his nine hundred chariot[s] of iron and all the people which [was] with him from Harosheth Haggoyim to [the] wadi of Kishon.
Ka karangarangatia e Hihera ana hariata katoa, e iwa rau, he hariata rino, me tona nuinga katoa, i Harohete o nga tauiwi ki te awa, ki Kihona.
14 And she said Deborah to Barak arise for this [is] the day which he has given Yahweh Sisera in hand your ¿ not Yahweh has he gone out before you and he went down Barak from [the] mountain of Tabor and ten thousand man [were] after him.
15 And he routed Yahweh Sisera and all the chariotry and all the army to [the] mouth of [the] sword before Barak and he went down Sisera from on the chariot and he fled on feet his.
A meinga ana e Ihowa a Hihera kia whati, me ana hariata katoa, me tana ope katoa, i te mata o te hoari i te aroaro o Paraka. Na ka marere iho a Hihera i runga i tana hariata, a rere a waewae ana.
16 And Barak he pursued after the chariotry and after the army to Harosheth Haggoyim and it fell all [the] army of Sisera to [the] mouth of [the] sword not it was left up to one.
17 And Sisera he fled on feet his to [the] tent of Jael ([the] wife of *L(abh)*) Heber the Kenite for peace [was] between Jabin [the] king of Hazor and between [the] house of Heber the Kenite.
18 And she went out Jael to meet Sisera and she said to him turn aside! O lord my turn aside! to me may not you be afraid and he turned aside to her the tent towards and she covered him with the covering.
Na ka puta a Taere ki te whakatau i a Hihera, ka mea ki a ia, Peka mai, e toku ariki, peka mai ki ahau; kaua e wehi. Katahi ia ka peka atu ki a ia ki te teneti, a ka hipokina e ia ki te koroka.
19 And he said to her give to drink me please a little of water for I am thirsty and she opened [the] skin-bottle of milk and she gave a drink him and she covered him.
Ka mea atu ia ki te wahine, Homai koa he wai inu moku, kia iti nei; e matewai ana hoki ahau. Katahi ka wetekina e ia te koki waiu, a whakainumia ana ia, hipokina atu ana hoki.
20 And he said to her stand [the] opening of the tent and it will be if anyone he will come and he will ask you and he will say ¿ [is] there here anyone and you will say no.
Na ka mea tera ki a ia, E tu ki te kuwaha o te teneti, a ki te haere mai he tangata ki te ui ki a koe, ki te mea, He tangata ranei kei konei? ka mea atu koe, Kahore.
21 And she took Jael [the] wife of Heber [the] peg of the tent and she put the hammer in hand her and she went to him in secrecy and she drove the peg in temple his and it went down in the ground and he [was] sleeping and he was weary and he died.
22 And there! Barak [was] pursuing Sisera and she went out Jael to meet him and she said to him come and I will show you the man whom you [are] seeking and he went to her and there! Sisera [was] lying dead and the peg [was] in temple his.
Na ko te whainga a Paraka i a Hihera; a ka puta atu a Taere ki te whakatau i a ia, ka mea ki a ia, Haere mai, a maku e whakaatu ki a koe tau tangata e rapu na. A, i tona haerenga atu ki a ia, na ko Hihera e takoto ana, kua mate, me te titi i ton a rahirahinga.
23 And he subdued God on the day that Jabin [the] king of Canaan before [the] people of Israel.
Heoi hinga ana a Iapini kingi o Kanaana i te Atua i taua ra i te aroaro o nga tamariki a Iharaira.
24 And it went [the] hand of [the] people of Israel going and hard on Jabin [the] king of Canaan until that they cut off Jabin [the] king of Canaan.
