Judges 3
1 And these [are] the nations which he left Yahweh to put to [the] test by them Israel all [those] who not they had known all [the] wars of Canaan.

2 Only so as to know [the] generations of [the] people of Israel to teach them war only which before not they had known them.

3 [the] five - [the] rulers of [the] Philistines And all the Canaanite[s] and the Sidonian[s] and the Hivite[s] [who] dwelt of [the] mount of Lebanon from [the] mountain of Baal Hermon to Lebo Hamath.
Pięcioro książąt Filistyńskich i wszystkie Chananejczyki, i Sydończyki i Hewejczyki, mieszkające na górze Libanie, od góry Baal Hermon aż tam, gdzie wchodzą do Hemat.
4 And they were to put to [the] test by them Israel to know ¿ will they obey [the] commandments of Yahweh which he had commanded ancestors their by [the] hand of Moses.

5 And [the] people of Israel they dwelt in [the] midst of the Canaanite[s] the Hittite[s] and the Amorite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Hivite[s] and the Jebusite[s].
A tak synowie Izraelscy mieszkali w pośród Chananejczyków, Hetejczyków, i Amorejczyków, i Ferezejczyków i Hewejczyków, i Jebuzejczyków.
6 And they took daughters their for themselves to wives and daughters their they gave to sons their and they served gods their.
I brali sobie córki ich za żony, a córki swe dawali synom ich, i służyli bogom ich.
7 And they did [the] people of Israel the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and they forgot Yahweh God their and they served the Baals and the Asherah poles.
I czynili Izraelscy synowie złe przed oczyma Pańskiemi: zapomniawszy Pana, Boga swego, służyli Baalom, i święconym gajom.
8 And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on Israel and he sold them in [the] hand of Cushan-Rishathaim [the] king of Aram Naharaim and they served [the] people of Israel Cushan-Rishathaim eight years.
Tedy się zapalił gniew Pański przeciw Izraelowi, i podał je w rękę Chusanrasataima, króla Syrskiego w Mezopotamii: A służyli synowie Izraelscy Chusanrasataimowi przez osiem lat.
9 And they cried out [the] people of Israel to Yahweh and he raised up Yahweh a deliverer for [the] people of Israel and he delivered them Othniel [the] son of Kenaz [the] brother of Caleb young more than him.
Potem wołali synowie Izraelscy do Pana; I wzbudził Pan wybawiciela synom Izraelskim, aby je wybawił, Otonijela, syna Kenezowego, brata Kalebowego młodszego.
10 And it was on him [the] spirit of Yahweh and he judged Israel and he went out to war and he gave Yahweh in hand his Cushan-Rishathaim [the] king of Aram and it prevailed hand his over Cushan-Rishathaim.
I był nad nim Duch Pański, a sądził Izraela; a gdy się ruszył na wojnę, podał Pan w rękę jego Chusanrasataima, króla Syryjskiego, i zmocniła się ręka jego nad Chusanrasataimem.
11 And it was at peace the land forty year[s] and he died Othniel [the] son of Kenaz.
A tak była w pokoju ziemia przez czterdzieści lat, aż umarł Otonijel, syn Kenezów.
12 And they repeated [the] people of Israel to do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he strengthened Yahweh Eglon [the] king of Moab over Israel on for they did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh.
Potem znowu synowie Izraelscy czynili złe przed oczyma Pańskiemi. I zmocnił Pan Eglona, króla Moabskiego, przeciw Izraelowi, przeto iż czynili złe przed oczyma Pańskiemi.
13 And he gathered to himself [the] people of Ammon and Amalek and he went and he attacked Israel and they took possession of [the] city of the palm trees.
Bo zebrawszy do siebie syny Ammonowe i Amalekowe ruszył się, i poraził Izraela, i opanował miasto Palm.
14 And they served [the] people of Israel Eglon [the] king of Moab eight-teen year[s].
Służyli tedy synowie Izraelscy Eglonowi, królowi Moabskiemu, osiemnaście lat.
15 And they cried out [the] people of Israel to Yahweh and he raised up Yahweh for them a deliverer Ehud [the] son of Gera [the] Ben-jaminite a man impeded [the] hand of right his and they sent [the] people of Israel by hand his tribute to Eglon [the] king of Moab.
Potem wołali synowie Izraelscy do Pana. I wzbudził im Pan wybawiciela, Aoda, syna Gery, syna Jemini, męża ręką prawą niewładającego; i posłali synowie Izraelscy przezeń dar Eglonowi, królowi Moabskiemu.
16 And he made for himself Ehud a sword and [belonged] to it two lips [was] a cubit length its and he girded it from under to garments his on [the] thigh of right his.
I uczynił sobie Aod miecz z obu stron ostry, na łokieć wzdłuż, i przypasał go pod szaty swe do prawego biodra swojego.
17 And he brought near the tribute to Eglon [the] king of Moab and Eglon [was] a man fat very.
I przyniósł dar Eglonowi, królowi Moabskiemu: a Eglon był człowiek bardzo otyły.
18 And it was just when he had finished to bring near the tribute and he sent away the people [who] bore the tribute.
A gdy oddał dar, odprawił lud, który był dar przyniósł;
19 And he he returned from the idols which [were] with Gilgal and he said a word of secrecy [belongs] to me to you O king and he said hush! and they went out from with him all those [who] stood with him.
A sam wróciwszy się do gór kamiennych, które były w Galgal, rzekł: Rzecz tajemną mam do ciebie, o królu! któremu on odpowiedział: Milcz; i wyszli od niego wszyscy, którzy stali przed nim.
20 And Ehud - he came to him and he [was] sitting in [the] roof chamber of the coolness which [belonged] to him to only him and he said Ehud a word of God [belongs] to me to you and he rose from on the throne.
I wszedłszy Aod do niego, (a on sam siedział na sali letniej, którą miał sam dla siebie, ) i rzekł Aod: Mam rozkazanie Boże do ciebie. I powstał z stolicy swojej.
21 And he stretched out Ehud [the] hand of left his and he took the sword from on [the] thigh of right his and he thrust it in belly his.
Tedy Aod wyciągnąwszy lewą rękę swą, dobył miecza od prawego biodra swego, i wraził go w brzuch jego,
22 And it went also the hilt after the blade and it closed up the fat behind the blade that not he drew out the sword from belly his and he went out the hole towards.
Tak iż wpadła i rękojeść za żelazem, i zawarło się w sadle żelazo; bo był nie wyjął miecza z brzucha jego, aż się i gnój rzucił.
23 And he went out Ehud the porch towards and he closed [the] doors of the roof chamber behind him and he locked [them].
Wyszedł potem Aod przez przysionek, a zamknął drzwi gmachu za sobą, i zawarł zamkiem.
24 And he he went forth and servants his they came and they saw and there! [the] doors of the roof chamber [were] locked and they said surely [is] covering he feet his in [the] chamber of the coolness.
A gdy on wyszedł, słudzy jego przyszli, a widząc, iż drzwi gmachu zamknione były, rzekli: Podobno sobie król czyni wczas na sali letniej.
25 And they writhed until were ashamed and there! not he [was] opening [the] doors of the roof chamber and they took the key and they opened [them] and there! master their [was] lying [the] ground towards dead.
A naczekawszy się, aż się wstydzili, widząc, że on nie otwiera drzwi sali, wziąwszy klucz otworzyli; a oto, pan ich leżał na ziemi umarły.
26 And Ehud he escaped until delayed they and he he passed by the idols and he escaped Seirah towards.
Lecz Aod uszedł, póki się oni bawili, a minąwszy góry kamienne, szedł do Seiratu.
27 And it was when came he and he gave a blast on the ram's horn in [the] hill country of Ephraim and they went down with him [the] people of Israel from the hill country and he [was] before them.
A gdy przyszedł, zatrąbił w trąbę na górze Efraim; i zstąpili z nim synowie Izraelscy z góry, a on przed nimi.
28 And he said to them pursue after me for he has given Yahweh enemies your Moab in hand your and they went down after him and they captured [the] fords of the Jordan to Moab and not they permitted anyone to pass over.
I rzekł do nich: Pójdźcie za mną: albowiem podał Pan nieprzyjacioły wasze Moabity w ręce wasze. Tedy szli za nim, a odjąwszy bród Jordański Moabitom, nie dopuszczali nikomu przeprawy.
29 And they struck down Moab at the time that about ten thousand man every stout [person] and every man of strength and not he escaped anyone.
I pobili Moabitów na ten czas około dziesięciu tysięcy mężów, wszystko bogatych, i wszystko mężów dużych, a nikt nie uszedł.
30 And it was subdued Moab on the day that under [the] hand of Israel and it was at peace the land eighty year[s].
I poniżony jest Moab dnia onego pod ręką Izraela, a była w pokoju ziemia przez osiemdziesiąt lat.
31 And after him he was Shamgar [the] son of Anath and he struck down [the] Philistines six hundred man with [the] goad of cattle and he delivered also he Israel.
A po nim był Samgar, syn Anatów, który poraził z Filistynów sześć set mężów stykiem wołowym, a wybawił i ten Izraela.
