Judges 16
1 And he went Samson Gaza towards and he saw there a woman a prostitute and he went into her.
És elment Sámson Gázába, és meglátott ott egy parázna asszonyt, és bement hozzá.
2 To the Gazites - saying he has come Samson here and they surrounded and they lay in wait for him all the night at [the] gate of the city and they were silent all the night saying until [the] light of the morning and we will kill him.
A gázabelieknek pedig mikor megmondották, mondván: Ide jött Sámson! körülvevék őt, és leselkedének ő utána egész éjszakán át a város kapujában, és hallgatóztak egész éjjel, és azt mondták: Reggel, ha világos lesz, megöljük őt.
3 And he lay down Samson until [the] middle of the night and he arose - in [the] middle of the night and he took hold on [the] doors of [the] gate of the city and on [the] two the doorposts and he pulled up them with the bar and he put [them] on shoulders his and he carried up them to [the] top of the mountain which [is] on [the] face of Hebron.
És aluvék Sámson éjfélig. Éjfélkor pedig felkelt, és megfogván a város kapujának szárnyait, a kapufélfákkal és a závárokkal együtt kiszakította azokat, és vállaira vette, és felvitte a hegy tetejére, mely Hebronnal szemben fekszik.
4 And it was after thus and he loved a woman in [the] valley of Sorek and name her [was] Delilah.
És történt azután, hogy megszeretett egy asszonyt a Sórek völgyében, a kinek neve Delila volt.
5 And they went up to her [the] rulers of [the] Philistines and they said to her entice him and see how? [is] strength his great and how? will we prevail to him and we will bind him to humble him and we we will give to you each one thousand and one hundred silver.
És felmenének ő hozzá a Filiszteusok fejedelmei, és mondának néki: Kérdezd ki őt és tudd meg, miben áll az ő nagy ereje, és miképen vehetünk rajta erőt, hogy megkötözzük és megkínozzuk őt, és mi mindenikünk adunk néked ezerszáz ezüst siklust.
6 And she said Delilah to Samson tell! please to me how? [is] strength your great and how? will you be bound to humble you.
És monda Delila Sámsonnak: Mondd meg nékem, miben van a te nagy erőd és mivel kellene téged megkötni, hogy megkínozhassanak téged.
7 And he said to her Samson if people will bind me with seven cords fresh which not they have been dried and I will be weak and I will be like one of humankind.
És felele néki Sámson: Ha megkötöznek hét nyers gúzszsal, melyek még meg nem száradtak, akkor elgyengülök és olyan leszek, mint más ember.
8 And they brought up to her [the] rulers of [the] Philistines seven cords fresh which not they had been dried and she bound him with them.
Akkor hoztak néki a Filiszteusok fejedelmei hét nyers gúzst, a mely még nem volt száraz, és megkötözé őt azzal.
9 And the ambusher [was] sitting of her in the chamber and she said to him [the] Philistines [are] on you O Samson and he tore apart the cords just as it is torn apart thread of tow when smells it fire and not it was known strength his.
A lesben állók pedig ott vártak annál a hálókamarában. És monda néki: Rajtad a Filiszteusok, Sámson! És elszakasztá a gúzsokat, miképen elszakad a csepűfonal, ha tűz éri, – és ki nem tudódék, miben volt az ő ereje.
10 And she said Delilah to Samson here! you have deceived me and you have spoken to me lies now tell! please to me how? will you be bound.
És monda Delila Sámsonnak: Ímé rászedtél, és hazugságot szóltál nékem, most mondd meg igazán, hogy mivel lehet téged megkötözni?
11 And he said to her certainly [if] they will bind me with ropes new which not it has been done with them work and I will be weak and I will be like one of humankind.
Ő pedig monda néki: Ha erősen megkötöznek új kötelekkel, melyekkel még semmi dolgot nem végeztek, akkor elgyengülök és olyan leszek, mint más ember.
12 And she took Delilah ropes new and she bound him with them and she said to him [the] Philistines [are] on you O Samson and the ambusher [was] sitting in the chamber and he tore apart them from on arms his like thread.
És vett Delila új köteleket, és megkötözte őt velük, és monda néki: Rajtad a Filiszteusok, Sámson! (mert ott leselkedtek utána a hálókamarában). De ő letépte azokat karjairól, mint a fonalat.
13 And she said Delilah to Samson until now you have deceived me and you have spoken to me lies tell! to me how? will you be bound and he said to her if you will weave seven [the] plaits of head my with the web. (And you will strike with a pin to the wall and I will be weak and I will be like one man. *X*)
És monda Delila Sámsonnak: Meddig fogsz még rászedni engem és hazudni nékem? Mondd meg egyszer már, mivel kötöztethetel meg? – Ő pedig monda néki: Ha összeszövöd az én fejemnek hét fonatékját a nyüstfonállal.
14 (And she made sleep him and she wove seven [the] plaits head his with the web *X*) and she thrust with the pin and she said to him [the] Philistines [are] on you O Samson and he awoke from sleep his and he pulled out the pin of the loom and the web.
És szeggel megerősítvén a zugolyt, monda: Rajtad a Filiszteusok, Sámson! Az pedig felébredvén álmából, kitépte a zugolyszeget és a nyüstfonalat.
15 And she said to him how? will you say I love you and heart your not [is] with me this three times you have deceived me and not you have told to me how? [is] strength your great.
Ekkor monda néki Delila: Miképen mondhatod: Szeretlek téged, ha szíved nincsen én velem? Immár három ízben szedtél rá engem, és nem mondtad meg, hogy miben van a te nagy erőd?
16 And it was that she pressed him with words her all the days and she urged him and it was short self his to die.
Mikor aztán őt minden nap zaklatta szavaival, és gyötörte őt: halálosan belefáradt a lelke,
17 And he told to her all heart his and he said to her a razor not it has come up on head my for [am] a Nazirite of God I from [the] womb of mother my if I was shaved and it will depart from me strength my and I will be weak and I will be like every man.
És kitárta előtte egész szívét, és monda néki: Borotva nem volt soha az én fejemen, mert Istennek szentelt vagyok anyám méhétől fogva; ha megnyírattatom, eltávozik tőlem az én erőm, és megerőtlenedem, és olyan leszek, mint akármely ember.
18 And she saw (Delilah *LA(bh)*) that he had told to her all heart his and she sent and she summoned [the] rulers of [the] Philistines saying come up this time for he has told (to me *Q(K)*) all heart his and they came up to her [the] rulers of [the] Philistines and they brought up the silver in hand their.
És mikor látta Delila, hogy kitárta volna előtte egész szívét, elküldött, és elhívatá a Filiszteusok fejedelmeit, és ezt izené: Jőjjetek fel ez egyszer, mert ő kitárta nékem egész szívét. És felmentek ő hozzá a Filiszteusok fejedelmei, és a pénzt is felvitték kezökben.
19 And she made sleep him on knees her and she summoned the man and she shaved off seven [the] plaits of head his and she began to humble him and it departed strength his from on him.
És elaltatta őt az ő térdein, és előhívott egy férfiút, és lenyíratta az ő fejének hét fonatékát, és kezdé őt kínozni. És eltávozott tőle az ő ereje.
20 And she said [the] Philistines [are] on you O Samson and he awoke from sleep his and he said I will go out as time on time so I may shake myself free and he not he knew that Yahweh he had departed from with him.
És monda: Rajtad a Filiszteusok, Sámson! Mikor pedig az az ő álmából felserkent, monda: Kimegyek most is, mint egyébkor, és lerázom a kötelékeket; mert még nem tudta, hogy az Úr eltávozott ő tőle.
21 And they seized him [the] Philistines and they gouged out eyes his and they brought down him Gaza towards and they bound him with bronze fetters and he was grinding in [the] house of (those imprisoned. *Q(K)*)
De a Filiszteusok megfogták őt, és kiszúrták szemeit, és levezették őt Gázába, és ott megkötözték két vaslánczczal, és őrölnie kellett a fogházban.
22 And it began [the] hair of head his to grow back when it had been shaved.
De az ő fejének haja újra kezdett nőni, miután megnyíretett.
23 And [the] rulers of [the] Philistines they gathered to sacrifice a sacrifice great to Dagon god their and for joy and they said he has given god our in hand our Samson enemies our.
És mikor a Filiszteusok fejedelmei összegyűltek, hogy az ő istenüknek, Dágonnak nagy áldozatot áldozzanak, és hogy örvendezzenek, mondának: Kezünkbe adta a mi istenünk Sámsont, a mi ellenségünket.
24 And they saw him the people and they praised god their for they said he has given god our in hand our enemy our and [the] desolator of land our and who he has multiplied slain [ones] our.
És mikor látta őt a nép, dícsérték az ő istenöket, mert – mondának – kezünkbe adta a mi istenünk a mi ellenségünket, földünk pusztítóját, és a ki sokakat megölt mi közülünk.
25 And it was (like good *Q(K)*) heart their and they said summon Samson so he may make sport for us and they summoned Samson from [the] house of (those imprisoned *Q(K)*) and he made sport before them and they made stand him between the pillars.
Lőn pedig, hogy mikor megvídámult az ő szívök, mondának: Hívjátok Sámsont, hadd játszék előttünk. És előhívák Sámsont a fogházból, és játszék ő előttük, és az oszlopok közé állították őt.
26 And he said Samson to the young man who kept hold on hand his permit! me (and let feel me *Q(K)*) the pillars which the house [is] established on them so I may lean on them.
Sámson pedig monda a fiúnak, a ki őt kézenfogva vezette: Ereszsz el, hadd fogjam meg az oszlopokat, a melyeken a ház nyugszik, és hadd támaszkodjam hozzájuk.
27 And the house was full men and women and [were] there all [the] rulers of [the] Philistines and [were] on the roof about three thousand man and woman who were looking when sported Samson.
A ház pedig tele volt férfiakkal és asszonyokkal, és ott voltak a Filiszteusok összes fejedelmei, és a tetőzeten közel háromezeren, férfiak és asszonyok, a Sámson játékának nézői.
28 And he called out Samson to Yahweh and he said O Lord Yahweh remember me please and strengthen me please only the time this O God so let me avenge myself vengeance of one from [the] two eyes my from [the] Philistines.
Ekkor Sámson az Úrhoz kiáltott, és monda: Uram, Isten, emlékezzél meg, kérlek, én rólam, és erősíts meg engemet, csak még ez egyszer, óh Isten! hadd álljak egyszer bosszút a Filiszteusokon két szemem világáért!
29 And he grasped Samson [the] two - [the] pillars of the middle which the house [was] established on them and he supported himself on them one in right [hand] his and one in left [hand] his.
És átfogta Sámson a két középső oszlopot, melyeken a ház nyugodott, az egyiket jobb kezével, a másikat bal kezével, és hozzájok támaszkodott.
30 And he said Samson let it die life my with [the] Philistines and he stretched out with strength and it fell the house on the rulers and on all the people which [was] in it and they were the dead whom he killed in death his many more than [those] whom he had killed in life his.
És monda Sámson: Hadd veszszek el én is a Filiszteusokkal! És nagy erővel megrándította az oszlopokat, és rászakadt a ház a fejedelmekre és az egész népre, mely abban volt, úgy hogy többet megölt halálával, mint a mennyit megölt életében.
31 And they went down brothers his and all [the] household of father his and they carried him and they brought [him] up - and they buried him between Zorah and between Eshtaol in [the] tomb of Manoah father his and he he judged Israel twenty year[s].
És lementek az ő testvérei és atyjának egész háza, és elvivék őt, és hazatérvén, eltemették Czóra és Estháol között, atyjának, Manoahnak sírjába, minekutána húsz esztendeig ítélte az Izráelt.
