Judges 14
1 And he went down Samson Timnah towards and he saw a woman in Timnah one of [the] daughters of [the] Philistines.
Y descendió Sansón a Timnat, y vio a una mujer en Timnat, de las hijas de los filisteos;
2 And he went up and he told to father his and to mother his and he said a woman I have seen in Timnah one of [the] daughters of [the] Philistines and now get her for me to a wife.
Y cuando regresó, dijo a su padre y a su madre: He visto a una mujer en Timnat, de las hijas de los filisteos: tráela ahora para mi esposa.
3 And he said to him father his and mother his ¿ [is] there not among [the] daughters of brothers your and among all people my a woman that you [are] going to take a wife from [the] Philistines uncircumcised and he said Samson to father his her get for me for she she is pleasing in view my.
Entonces su padre y su madre le dijeron: ¿No hay ninguna mujer entre las hijas de nuestros parientes, o entre todos los israelitas, que tienes que ir por tu esposa a los filisteos, que están sin circuncisión? Pero Sansón le dijo a su padre: Tráela por mí, porque me agrada.
4 And father his and mother his not they knew that [was] from Yahweh it for an occasion he [was] seeking from [the] Philistines and at the time that [the] Philistines [were] ruling over Israel.
Ahora, su padre y su madre no sabían que este era el propósito del Señor, que tenía en mente la destrucción de los filisteos. Ahora los filisteos en ese momento estaban gobernando sobre Israel.
5 And he went down Samson and father his and mother his Timnah towards and they came to [the] vineyards of Timnah and there! a young lion of lions [was] roaring to meet him.
Entonces Sansón descendió a Timnat con su padre y su madre y fue a los viñedos de Timnat; y un joven león lo atacó rugiendo hacia él.
6 And it rushed on him [the] spirit of Yahweh and he tore apart it as tears apart kid and [was] anything there not in hand his and not he told to father his and to mother his [that] which he had done.
Y el espíritu del Señor vino sobre él con poder, y, como estaba desarmado, tirando al león en dos como se le puede hacer a un chivo, lo mató; pero no le dijo nada a su padre ni a su madre de lo que había hecho.
7 And he went down and he spoke to the woman and she was pleasing in [the] eyes of Samson.
Entonces bajó y habló con la mujer; y ella era agradable a Sansón.
8 And he returned from days to take her and he turned aside to see [the] carcass of the lion and there! a swarm of bees [was] in [the] carcass of the lion and honey.
Luego, después de un tiempo, volvió a tomarla; y saliendo del camino para ver el cadáver del león, vio una masa de abejas en el cuerpo del león, y miel allí.
9 And he scraped out it into palms his and he went continuously and eating and he came to father his and to mother his and he gave to them and they ate and not he told to them that from [the] carcass of the lion he had scraped out the honey.
Y tomó la miel de su mano, y continuó, probándola en el camino; y cuando llegó a su padre y a su madre, les dio a ellos; pero no dijo que había tomado la miel del cuerpo del león.
10 And he went down father his to the woman and he prepared there Samson a feast for thus they did the young men.
Entonces Sansón bajó a la mujer e hizo allí un banquete, como era la costumbre entre los jóvenes.
11 And it was when saw they him and they took thirty companions and they were with him.
Y tomó treinta amigos, y ellos estaban con él.
12 And he said to them Samson let me ask a riddle please to you a riddle certainly [if] you will tell it to me [the] seven [the] days of the feast and you will find [it] out and I will give to you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of garments.
Y Sansón dijo: Ahora tengo una pregunta difícil para ti: si puedes darme la respuesta antes de que terminen los siete días de la fiesta, te daré treinta ropas de lino y treinta cambios de ropa;
13 And if not you will be able to tell to me and you will give you to me thirty linen garments and thirty changes of garments and they said to him ask [the] riddle! riddle your so we may hear it.
Pero si no puedes darme la respuesta, entonces tendrás que darme treinta batas de lino y treinta cambios de ropa. Y le dijeron: Haz tu pregunta difícil y déjanos ver qué es.
14 And he said to them from the eater it came out food and from a strong [one] it came out a sweet [thing] and not they were able to tell the riddle three days.
Y él dijo: Del que comía salía comida, y del fuerte salió lo dulce. Y al cabo de tres días todavía no podían dar la respuesta.
15 And it was - on the day seventh and they said to [the] wife of Samson entice husband your so may he tell to us the riddle lest we should burn you and [the] house of father your with fire ¿ to impoverish us did you invite us ¿ [is it] not [so].
Entonces, al cuarto día, dijeron a la esposa de Sansón: Obtén de tu esposo la respuesta a su pregunta con un truco u otro, o haremos que tú y la casa de tu padre sean quemados con fuego; ¿Nos trajiste aquí para tomar todo lo que tenemos?
16 And she wept [the] wife of Samson over him and she said only you hate me and not you love me the riddle you have asked [the] riddle to [the] sons of people my and to me not you have told and he said to her here! to father my and to mother my not I have told and to [why] you will I tell?
Entonces la mujer de Sansón, llorando a él, dijo: En verdad no me amas, sino que me aborreces; Tú has hecho una pregunta difícil a los jóvenes de mi pueblo y no me has dado la respuesta. Y él le dijo: Mira, no le he dado la respuesta ni a mi padre ni a mi madre; ¿Debo dártela a ti?
17 And she wept over him [the] seven the days which it belonged to them the feast and it was - on the day seventh and he told to her for she pressed him and she told the riddle to [the] sons of people her.
Y todos los siete días de la fiesta ella siguió llorando a él; y en el séptimo día él le dio la respuesta, porque ella no le dio paz; y ella envió un mensaje a los hijos de su pueblo.
18 And they said to him [the] men of the city on the day seventh before it went the sun what? [is] sweet more than honey and what? [is] strong more than a lion and he said to them if not you had plowed with heifer my not you found out riddle my.
El séptimo día, antes que él sol se pusiera, los hombres del pueblo le dijeron: ¿Qué es más dulce que la miel? ¿Y qué es más fuerte que un león? Y él les dijo: Si no hubieran estado arando con mi ternera, no habrían obtenido la respuesta a mi pregunta.
19 And it rushed on him [the] spirit of Yahweh and he went down Ashkelon and he struck down of them - thirty man and he took spoils their and he gave the changes to [those who] told the riddle and it burned anger his and he went up [the] house of father his.
Y el espíritu del Señor vino sobre él, y él bajó a Ascalón y, atacando a treinta hombres allí, les quitó la ropa y se la dio a los hombres que habían dado la respuesta a su pregunta difícil. Luego, lleno de ira, volvió a la casa de su padre.
20 And she belonged [the] wife of Samson to companion his who he was a special friend to him.
Pero la esposa de Sansón fue entregada a su compañero, que había sido su mejor amigo.
