Judges 13
1 And they repeated [the] people of Israel to do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he gave them Yahweh in [the] hand of [the] Philistines forty year[s].
Người Ít-ra-ên lại phạm tội trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu, nên Ngài để cho người Phi-li-tin áp bức họ trong bốn mươi năm.
2 And he was a man one from Zorah from [the] clan of the Danite[s] and name his [was] Manoah and wife his [was] barren and not she had borne children.
Lúc ấy có một người tên Ma-nô-a từ đại tộc Đan sống ở Xô-ra. Vợ người son sẻ, không con.
3 And he appeared [the] angel of Yahweh to the woman and he said to her here! please you [are] barren and not you have borne children and you will conceive and you will bear a son.
Một hôm, thiên sứ của Chúa Hằng Hữu hiện ra, nói với vợ Ma-nô-a: “Bà không con đã lâu, nhưng rồi bà sẽ thụ thai và sinh một con trai.
4 And therefore take care please and may not you drink wine and strong drink and may not you eat any unclean [thing].
Vì vậy, từ nay phải thận trọng, đừng uống rượu hay chất gì làm cho say, cũng đừng ăn vật không sạch.
5 For here you [will be] pregnant and you will bear a son and a razor not it will go up on head his for a Nazirite of God he will be the lad from the womb and he he will begin to deliver Israel from [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
Vì bà sẽ có thai và sinh một con trai, dao cạo sẽ không được đưa qua đầu nó. Vì nó là người Na-xi-rê biệt riêng cho Đức Chúa Trời từ lúc sơ sinh. Sau này nó sẽ giải thoát Ít-ra-ên khỏi ách thống trị Phi-li-tin.”
6 And she went the woman and she said to husband her saying man of God he came to me and appearance his [was] like [the] appearance of angel of God awesome very and not I asked him where? from this [was] he and name his not he told to me.
Bà Ma-nô-a liền chạy đi nói cho chồng hay: “Một người của Đức Chúa Trời hiện ra với tôi! Vị ấy trông như một thiên sứ của Đức Chúa Trời, đáng kính đáng sợ quá! Tôi không dám hỏi xem vị ấy đến từ đâu, và vị này cũng không nói tên mình!
7 And he said to me here you [will be] pregnant and you will bear a son and therefore may not you drink - wine and strong drink and may not you eat any uncleanness for a Nazirite of God he will be the lad from the womb until [the] day of death his.
Nhưng vị này chỉ bảo cho biết rằng tôi sẽ thụ thai, sinh một con trai. Vị ấy còn dặn tôi kiêng cữ rượu và các vật không sạch, vì đứa con này là người Na-xi-rê sẽ được dâng cho Đức Chúa Trời từ khi sinh ra cho đến khi qua đời.”
8 And he prayed Manoah to Yahweh and he said pardon me O Lord [the] man of God whom you sent let him come please again to us so he may teach us what? will we do for the lad who is about to be born.
Ma-nô-a khẩn cầu Chúa Hằng Hữu: “Lạy Chúa, xin cho người của Đức Chúa Trời sai đến lần trước trở lại gặp chúng con một lần nữa, để dạy chúng con những điều phải làm cho đứa con sắp chào đời.”
9 And he listened God to [the] voice of Manoah and he came [the] angel of God again to the woman and she [was] sitting in the field and Manoah husband her not [was] with her.
Đức Chúa Trời nhậm lời, cho thiên sứ đến gặp vợ Ma-nô-a một lần nữa, khi bà đang ngồi nơi đồng ruộng. Lúc ấy chồng bà không có ở đó.
10 And she made haste the woman and she ran and she told to husband her and she said to him here! he has presented himself to me the man who he came on the day to me.
Bà vội vàng chạy tìm chồng, nói: “Người đến đây hôm nọ vừa hiện ra lần nữa!”
11 And he arose and he went Manoah after wife his and he came to the man and he said to him ¿ [are] you the man who you spoke to the woman and he said I.
Ma-nô-a theo vợ chạy đến, hỏi: “Có phải ông là người nói chuyện với vợ tôi hôm trước không?” Người ấy đáp: “Phải, chính ta.”
12 And he said Manoah now it will come words your what? will it be [the] manner of the lad and work his.
Ma-nô-a hỏi: “Khi lời ông được ứng nghiệm, chúng tôi phải nuôi đứa nhỏ như thế nào, phải làm gì cho nó?”
13 And he said [the] angel of Yahweh to Manoah from all that I said to the woman she will take care.
Thiên sứ của Chúa Hằng Hữu đáp: “Vợ ngươi phải nhớ làm theo những điều ta đã dặn.
14 Any of all that it comes forth from [the] vine of the wine not she will eat and wine and strong drink may not she drink and any uncleanness may not she eat all that I commanded her she will keep.
Bà ấy không được ăn nho tươi hay nho khô, uống rượu nho hay thức uống nào có chất làm cho say, không được ăn vật gì không sạch.”
15 And he said Manoah to [the] angel of Yahweh let us detain please you so we may prepare before you a kid of goats.
Ma-nô-a nói với thiên sứ của Chúa Hằng Hữu: “Mời ông ở lại, để chúng tôi làm thịt dê con khoản đãi.”
16 And he said [the] angel of Yahweh to Manoah if you will detain me not I will eat in food your and if you will make a burnt offering to Yahweh you will offer up it for not he knew Manoah that [was] [the] angel Yahweh it.
Thiên sứ của Chúa Hằng Hữu đáp: “Ta sẽ ở lại, nhưng không ăn gì cả. Nếu muốn dâng vật gì, nên dâng tế lễ thiêu lên Chúa Hằng Hữu.” (Ma-nô-a vẫn chưa biết vị này là thiên sứ của Chúa Hằng Hữu.)
17 And he said Manoah to [the] angel of Yahweh who? [is] name your if it will come (word your *Q(K)*) and we will honor you.
Ma-nô-a hỏi thiên sứ của Chúa Hằng Hữu: “Xin cho biết ông tên gì? Vì khi mọi việc được ứng nghiệm, chúng tôi muốn tỏ lòng kính trọng ông.”
18 And he said (to him *L(abh)*) [the] angel of Yahweh why? this are you asking to name my and it [is] incomprehensible.
Thiên sứ của Chúa Hằng Hữu đáp: “Sao hỏi tên ta? Tên ta thật diệu kỳ, quá sức hiểu biết của các ngươi.”
19 And he took Manoah [the] kid of the goats and the grain offering and he offered [it] up on the rock to Yahweh and an extraordinary thing to do and Manoah and wife his [were] looking.
Vậy, Ma-nô-a làm thịt dê con, dọn lễ vật ngũ cốc dâng lên Chúa Hằng Hữu trên một tảng đá. Bấy giờ Chúa Hằng Hữu làm một việc phi thường trước mắt Ma-nô-a và vợ.
20 And it was when went up the flame from on the altar the heavens towards and he went up [the] angel of Yahweh in [the] flame of the altar and Manoah and wife his [were] looking and they fell on faces their [the] ground towards.
Lửa từ bàn thờ bốc cao lên, thiên sứ của Chúa Hằng Hữu thăng lên theo ngọn lửa. Khi Ma-nô-a và vợ thấy thế, họ vội quỳ sấp mặt xuống đất.
21 And not he repeated again [the] angel of Yahweh to appear to Manoah and to wife his then he knew Manoah that [was] [the] angel of Yahweh it.
Từ đó, thiên sứ không hiện ra với Ma-nô-a và vợ ông lần nào nữa. Về sau, Ma-nô-a mới công nhận vị ấy chính là thiên sứ của Chúa Hằng Hữu,
22 And he said Manoah to wife his certainly we will die for God we have seen.
ông nói với vợ: “Chúng ta chắc phải chết vì đã thấy Đức Chúa Trời!”
23 And she said to him wife his if he had desired Yahweh to kill us not he accepted from hand our a burnt offering and a grain offering and not he showed us all these [things] and about this time not he caused to hear us like this.
Nhưng vợ ông đáp: “Nếu Chúa Hằng Hữu định giết chúng ta, Ngài đã không nhậm tế lễ thiêu và ngũ cốc của chúng ta. Hơn nữa, Ngài cũng đã không cho chúng ta thấy và nghe những điều dị thường này.”
24 And she bore the woman a son and she called name his Samson and he grew up the lad and he blessed him Yahweh.
Rồi, bà sinh một con trai, đặt tên là Sam-sôn. Em bé lớn lên, được Chúa Hằng Hữu ban phước lành.
25 And it began [the] spirit of Yahweh to stir him in Mahaneh Dan between Zorah and between Eshtaol.
Thần của Chúa Hằng Hữu bắt đầu chiếm hữu lòng Sam-sôn trong trại Đan, giữa Xô-ra và Ê-ta-ôn.
